Great GameOverall I really liked the game and thought it was well worth the price. I like scary hidden object games and this one fit the bill. Some issues I do want to share are: - Screen froze on the very first task of replacing a light bulb. Was able to get around it but still frustrating. - Have to sort of double tap on inventory items to get the label to appear. Kind of awkward. - Going back one level only requires one tap (should be two) which means you are always going back one level when you tap once too close to the bottom of the screen. - Had a problem with the "painting the picture of the knight" puzzle. The hilt of the sword has to be red but the only color it would allow me to use was green. Because of that I couldn't complete the puzzle and was forced to skip the puzzle in order to receive the painting. -did not like the ending in the bonus section. It was very abrupt. Best BF game ever!! 😃Alrighty, where to start? First of all, I've been playing BF games for quite a while. And this BF game is by far the most scariest of them all! I wouldn't dare you play this at night! It's really good graphics, has an ok storyline. I'm saying the storylines ok because it's actually kinda confusing... Especially the ending! And the bonus chapter doesn't really give you answers either. There are a few scenes where you'll get that shiver feeling! I know from my experience. Like for example: in one part of the game you'll follow the creepy thing into a house. Then when your at the front door, you open the door, and peek inside. (the lights are off.) Then there's a coat rack in the middle of the room, but in the dark, it looks like that creepy things staring at you! Then I got that feeling and turned on the lights and figured out is was just a coat rack. Lol. So the game is creepy, fun, challenging, and pretty cool! I would suggest that people 10 and under don't play this game. I mean, take it from a 12-year old! That's really all I have to say! Hope my information is in the helpful section! One of the best Big Fish games I’ve played in a long time and great value.This game seemed different to the mainstream BF offerings in that it was an actual scary adventure without a ton of annoying and repetitive puzzles. There were some hidden object scenes but I was glad to see them so I could gain a much needed item. I liked the fact that it was not glaringly obvious what to do with each item. You had to wait some time to use some things. It was a long game with the Bonus chapter. My only criticism is that the storyline was a little hard to follow with all the characters at the asylum. Best Hidden Object Game everThis takes me back to the 13 skulls game. More interactive and mystery than hidden object. I don’t like the over kill of hidden object scenes and if you are like me, wanting more of that figuring out aspect, this game is for you. This was scary, long, and had a great story line. Tough game, lots of actionThis game was one tough cookie. Had to consult a walkthrough on the bonus chapter. Lots of things to do and interact with. I do believe the game could have provided a few more clues on some of the mini games though. I had to skip a few because the goal was not clear. Genuinely CreepyI really enjoyed this game more than most of the "ghost" stories that Big Fish puts out. Very little of the game is just straight out explained. Outstanding GameThis may be my all time favorite game. The storyline (although creepy) kept me guessing the whole time. The hidden objects were good, with hidden objects-within hidden objects. The mini games were of good variety; some easy, some fair. The bonus game was a good length and equally as interesting as the main game. I also enjoyed the bonus content, which normally I rarely even glance at. The ending was a bit abrupt, but they do address the reasoning for that in their extra content. Doesn’t Work AnymoreI bought this game more than 5 years ago on an iPad 2. It worked briefly with my iPad 6 but now just crashes when I hit the START button. Now I love this game when it’s playable and have deleted and reinstalled several times but it just stopped working. After not thinking about this game for a while, I came across it again and hoped the problem might be fixed or maybe it would have renewed life playing on my iPad Pro M1 11 inch. No dice. The game was doing the exact same thing it would do on my iPad 6. Now I can restore my purchase fine and even input my player name, but as soon as I hit START, it closes abruptly. I guess I have to dust off my iPad 2 in order to play this title but this is unacceptable because its already paid for. I own it and I should be able to play this whenever I desire. Unbearable!I usually don't write reviews but on this one I had to say something. The back and forth fetching issues were tedious, monotonous and completely unnecessary. The story is confusing and they pulled the girl from 'The Grudge' to wander aimlessly through the game which the main character never fully sees. I finally had to turn the music down because it was so annoying; in the beginning it added atmosphere, later on it was just annoying. In one instance, she's investigating an empty house that she lived in years before. And she wanders through the rooms of this empty house she suddenly comes to the dining room and sees dinner on the dining room table. Never questioning who made the food she exclaims, "Oh, dinner is served!" First of all, who made this and set it on the table for her to eat? That point I said to myself this is really ridiculous.
