Enjoyed the game but …. **Updated**First: Fun game. Second: I’ve had two different profiles. 1st one I ended up with “most dishonorable” and thought it was I had a loosing record. I would quit the game/app after the game was over and looked at the opponents map to learn how players were setting up .. I’d quit then because the ads that auto play. Restart the game and play another round. Third: after ending up with most dishonorable it would be almost impossible to match with another player for a game. I deleted the profile then restarted another. This time I did the same as far as playing but I didn’t quit the game after viewing the maps I would let the ads play then get into another game. Now I’m “Most Honorable” status. So it looks like you will get penalized as if you left during the game without surrendering even though you finished the game and only quit before the ads play. I get the ads in a free playing game and agree with paying to remove ads if that is what you want. The developers deserve revenue for their work. Just FYI to new players from what I’ve experienced as info. If you enjoy the game but don’t want to purchase in-app content, let the ads play after the game and don’t quit the app and restart to bypass the ads as it will penalize you and as you get more penalized it will be harder to match players and play the game going forward..MarkinOregonVersion: 2.1.901

Stop the stall playersU guys do a great job at making sure no one cheats so with that being said ,can u do something about the people who use the stall tactic basically what it is, is that they will find about 2 or 3 of your ships an then let the clock run down too 1 then hit your ship an let the clock run back down too 1 an just keep repeating this process which makes for a very long match the point of this tactic is too get the player too quit because we all know facing the computer is much easier than a human opponent its like a guaranteed win they usually will do this if they get mad because you’re beating them by a mile, or find their patrol boat, or just because they want an easy win I never quit when they do this because I’m not going to give them the satisfaction but man this makes for an extremely long match I never write reviews but this one of my favorite games.WahooChiefVersion: 2.0.87

So far so good! Reminds me of my childhoodWhen I was in my younger years I always wanted to play battleships the board game. And I was scrolling down the App Store I saw fleet battle. I was like ok, I checked the pictures of the game and immediately saw it was my favorite board game set up so I was extremely excited. I check the reviews some had 1 stars so I read through them and I jumped right into the app. Immediately I felt in love. Love at first sight, it is a 3D battleships game that you can Customize ships and get new modified ones! It does a lot of game modes and offline so if your on a plane it will work (I hope I haven’t been on a plane in a bit) Now everyone’s least favorite ads, don’t worry ads won’t frustrate you to much. All in all I have no complaints it’s just one rule…have fun. Don’t let the other 1 star reviews put down this masterpiece of a game. The best app out there.First off. I really love battle ship. Like, love it. But most of my friends won’t play me anymore Bc I always win ;) So I originally downloaded it to play my brother as a fun way to keep in touch with him. My only criticism is that I can’t close the app while playing. I completely understand why you can’t do this if you’re playing a live game w/ someone online but it would be really cool if I could play my bro back and fourth w/ the ability to close out the app after each play. We have busy and somewhat opposite schedules and it makes it really hard to make sure we both stay on screen for the whole game. Great Fun & Support!My sister and I love doing what I’d call Family games together . This is a great game that allows us to play fast fun games without having to set up the board game version ( getting lazy in my old age). It has cool different ships and colors for the ships plus ranks you go up the more you play. It also doesn’t cost to play ( Being retired that’s another nice feature) although eventually we will probably pay to have ads removed. Recently , at Christmas , we ran into a bug where my sister lost one hundred battles and the free ship after ten days of ten battles a day with me. She tried it again for another ten days and it happened again. The support department was very nice and responsive In fixing the problem. We can’t thank them enough for their help. Why the change about playing dishonorable opponents?You USED TO give us a choice to play a dishonorable match or not. Now we HAVE to play dishonorable whether we want to or not! Why? Why did you change this? When this first happened I closed down the game without even starting the match, and you lowered MY rating from most-honorable to honorable! So you punish me for not wanting to play cheaters and whatever is dishonorable about them. This game is loaded with cheaters. For example, one of my last few games I was about to win, I chose a wrong tile but that left me knowing what my last move should be to win. The opponent then went straight to the last 3 of my ships he hadn’t hit at all, one after another, bam bam bam without a miss or even any hesitation. He’d been floundering around to keep his most-honorable status. But with me having 1 more move he “found” and sunk all 3 of mine as fast as the game accepted hits. I wrote “cheater” to him. A very good game, but still many possibilities!I really enjoy this game. I loved playing battleship with my family and now that I can play it and actually earn things as well makes it a lot more fun. However there are a lot of possibilities with this game, and here I’ll share a few of my ideas: 1. Making a 2v2 mode. I think this would be fun because if you have a friend you can work together. Make the play area twice the size and allow each player to have his full fleet. Then one team takes one turn for each player and then the other team and so on and so forth. 2. Squads or clans or whatever you want to call them. Then you can have a squad chat and be able to talk to and suggest ideas. Also maybe have squads compete against eachother. 3. Add new skins for ships. I kind of like the outline art you guys use but I also think some solid forms would be cool too but I understand if you want to keep your specific design but even then more skins with that design 4. Different hit animations. Be able to unlock new ones like a plane bombing a ship could be one. Or a big missile. Maybe just a huge pole coming out of the ocean and stabbing it that would be weird but cool. Preferably unlockable by playing like skins and not under a pay wall. Great game, unsure about update?I think it was perfect even before this update, and I’m sure I’ll come to appreciate the new look. I am a bit disappointed to have lost my previous fleet though—style and colors. Would have saved it if given a heads up. Can you restore our old fleets or probably not? Either way, brilliant game. Love this game!Ready to lose hours of your life? I downloaded I think less than a week ago and can’t believe how many games I’ve played. I’m impressed with how well thought out the developers were in putting this together. I only play the quick match up rounds and was wondering if I were to meet up with the same player if I’d remember their name but when that finally happened (there a LOT of players) I saw the game showed our stats 5 vs 0. Exactly As It Should Be - Classic GameplayI’ve had this app for quite some time now and it’s the only game I consistently play whenever I have time. It’s also my go-to time passer when I’m in the treadmill at the gym. Gameplay is exactly as it should be. It’s classic Battleship with cool graphics. The updates have just been making it better, including the new 3D views. The online mode has never failed to connect, and its pretty neat to play against people all around the world day or night. Fleet battle is really cool and niceIf you like battleship then this is the game to play it is the best game for battleship. It’s really awesome basically just it’s two teams and and yourself versus the AI have ships that you start off with and then you get the blueprints that you can unlock new ships with and when you win the round if you find blueprints for ships you’ll get those blueprints. There are modes like hard standard and classic they’re all modes and you can also do ships are not allowed to touch or you could do ships are allowed to touch. LOVE this game!I am addicted! Almost embarrassing how many games I have played but I am thrilled to say I’m at about a 76% winning rate, not to brag. My only complaint is that the game allows you to resign without getting it counted as a loss. I find this annoying because some people will resign as soon as they know they are losing. I don’t think that’s right. Everything else about the game is terrific. Good job! To your response- I think the honor system is a great idea. Too many crying cowardsThis is a great game and app. Very interesting format like the old game board classic, battle ship back in the 80s. However, there are too many cowards that figured it that if they disconnect before try lose in online multiplayer then they will not get a loss. I am assuming that these cowards are able to do this. I just had this happen five times in a row. Ad I know it is coming because they try to insult you too justify running away. So if this game were to penalize them and give them a loss, then it would be perfect. I have never quit so I am not sure if you can avoid a loss by doing so but if you can, that needs to be removed. Best Battleship Game EVERA friend of mine recommended this game to me, said we could play together. It took a minute to download and log into my account, but once I did things were quick and smooth. The background music is awesome, the sound effects are awesome, there is a voice that encourages and warns you (please don’t shoot the fish) and it’s really easy to chat with a friend while you play. The graphics are cool, a sunken battleship has its own hologram of it sinking, and when a ship is hit the explosions are super cool. Definitely worth downloading. Tough but awesome!This review comes after nearly a year of playing this game. This game will challenge you to rethink everything you think you know about battleship strategy. I personally didn’t like it after the initial easy beginning newbie matches because I was getting shredded by players left and right. I ended up messaging the admins for help and they came through big with some strategy ideas. I like it!I’ve been playing this game quite a bit lately and I really like it. The speed between plays is faster than a different app I tried. 4/5 stars because I haven’t fully explored all the options available to me. I only play against the computer so I can’t review anything against a live opponent or anything with chat. Computer can hit three ships in a single turn but the game is still winnable. I had an issue and the developers were very impressively quick to respond. I’m fine with the blue prints and the rate of obtaining them. If I got them quickly, I’d have less incentive. However, I agree with another reviewer that commented on not seeing his own ships on a separate board. I have the same problem, I think. In any case, my problem is as follow. It is not satisfying for me to be able to see only the shots exchanged, with my ships making only a second-long appearance after enemy shot. I want a true naval battle game: one board must show my ships at all time. Enemy’s shots get marked in here. A second board is for marking my own shots to enemy fleet. Especially because “with friends” and “quick play” are now separate first screen buttons AND there is no guide to tell me which way to scroll. Your previous submenu system was better. Sentimental...Back in the 80’s & 90’s my grandpa & I played Battleship against one another. He lives only in my memories now. Blueprints ?¿!¡To be honest with u I love the game and it’s a good time killer especially with me being in quarantine right now but I still don’t really understand the point of blueprints i mean like do you have to get or buy them in order to use the ship. Fun but can’t stand Top Secret modeVery fun until I started running into opponents with this feature enabled. Can’t count how many times I lose by 1 ship and then see their patrol boat is ‘hidden’. I totally love this game, but...I played this game for about two to three weeks and everything was great. It has great speed and was super fun. But suddenly I can even get on the home page without it glitching off. It’s been three days with this issue and none of my other apps have this problem. Defending HonorI have played this game for a long time and I simply don’t get the type of ads the parent is getting. I do want to commend both parties for taking action against any foul intent. As for the game play, this is fantastic! Good time consumerI used to play this game on another app which the developer stopped supporting (the trend seems to be to develop only revenue producing games via in-app purchases or ads). This game, however, is competitive and fun, although I’m a bit skeptical as to how the computer can often quickly find your ships and know the right moves to finish them off when playing at the hard level. Like the game, ads are in a weird spotSome ads are in slo mo and very loooonnnnngggg. It will be an ender if it doesn’t improve. They ads show up just when you connect with a player and I find may games the opponent has disconnected. Great Game and my most favorite game on iOS!This is my most favourite game on my phone and iPad and I love the neat additions to the iPad version. I wish my stats were not cleared with the 2.1 release but love the update regardless. To those who say there are hackers in the game, I don’t get it, once you gain a lot of experience it’s almost easy to hit a ship with the first try, it doesn’t mean they cheat. Wow.Look dude. I downloaded the the app, waited. Once it was done, clicked on the app you know to play it. Popped up glitch right back out. Didn't even see the main menu. That's how fast it was. And don't even get me started on the wifi or internet bc I live literally in town pay my bills and and everything. I have wifi and internet, and a good one to! So don't even get me started on that. Don’t support this companyThe game is pretty fun but the advertisements are all for an app where young girls dance around without much clothing. Not what I want my 3 and 5 year old to see when we are sitting around on the couch. Looked up what the app was to see if I was misunderstanding and it is exactly what it seems like, a video chat that encourages kids to strip for strangers. Developers of fleet battle need to get a grip on their advertisers and not help promote this haven for predators. Response to developer: First of all, you and I have never talked via email. This is our first interaction but the folks who grew up playing battleship are now to the parenting age so the idea that only one person would take issue with the advertisement is a little naive. If there are “thousands and thousands of ad campaigns” I would think you would be more concerned that this ad is appearing so frequently in your game and not at all in other similar games (probably good information for a developer) Just because the ad isn’t pornographic doesn’t mean it Isn’t suggestive and inappropriate. Since the latest “upgrade” ...I had been one to play several games a day, but since the latest upgrade, I lost all of my history and had to start over. I contacted the developer but got nothing. Also, ads (which I know get the developer money) actually partially blocks the screen. I have also informed the developer of that and they don’t seem to care. I guess ad money is more important than gameplay. All in all, it has the potential to be a great game, I know it was better BEFORE the upgrade. Now, the ads are more prolific. It might be worth a few dollars to eliminate ALL ads, but even if you pay to eliminate the ads, you still get the developers ads and they still block the screen. I don’t mind a few ads but come on, you have too many now. The traditional, modern and Russial versions are great, but get rid of the computerized graphics. Not quite good enough for meI was playing Battle Ship as a kid in the 60s. I played this three times and not sure how long I’ll last. The single biggest thing I want or don’t know how to find is: seeing my ships and seeing everything my opponent has done to me. I play against the computer for now so I can’t comment on how it plays against someone live. I have to tell you tho - as a kid I placed the pegs in my ships myself. I also tried to track just where my opponent was going with his shots. This is not part of the game from what I can tell. It flips to my ships boards when it’s the opponents turn real fast then is gone. Don’t like that. Not for me. Back in the day you saw two boards. Your ships and where you land on his side. Everything was called out. You inserted colored pegs your self. Maybe some of you are too young to remember that. I like knowing my ships board so I could tell what my opponent was doing and how close I was to losing. There is a piece of strategy missing in your game. And I want it. DishonorableSo I found out what classifies you as “Dishonorable” in this game. It has nothing to do with completing a game because I would complete the game until it said “Continue” at the bottom. As soon as you click that continue an advertisement begins. Once the advertisement is done you can select the option to close the ad or follow it. Once you close it you go back to the main screen. I didn’t want to waste my time watching the same stupid ads after every game. So as soon as the ad began I would close the app and reopen it. It saved tons of time, but I learned that THIS made me become labeled as dishonorable. I even deleted my account and started fresh to find the same result. So there is no reason to use the Honorable Retreat flag if you know the game is over. Refusing to watch the stupid ads is what makes you dishonorable. Ads that you can’t closeI don’t mind a developer shoving ads down our throat if they’re too cheap to just let us purchase an ad free program. I usually avoid it, but this game is fun enough that’ll let him earn whatever he does off of my inconvenience. But they give you a countdown so you can skip them after they start, and half of the time those buttons don’t work. Too many hackers!I grew up playing battleship and loved the game. Sadly, this electronic version is NOT safe from pathetic hackers. I have played matches where I couldn’t hit anything within 12 rounds and magically these players who have 30+ wins over their loss are not just pegging my pieces, but making their “misses” obvious so the match doesn’t end too quickly. You’ll see what I mean if you download this game. The only reason I play this anymore is to play against the computer and I have finally decided to just delete the game because it seems that the idea of people hacking their game is ok. Disappointing sometimes.Often have the title as dishonorable. Don’t get it. I have never left a game on my own. Often I am waiting for advertisements to end and then when they do, I see I was matched with a person and they have left. Sometimes the game glitches and closes and then I have a dishonorable title. Fun , but only in the beginningI was really enjoying the game in the beginning , win some lose some , come close etc. it was great . However the higher up you go the less fun it becomes, not because you lose more but how you lose. Buyer Beware!Game was fun to play at first but the more you play, the more you see evidence of hackers. The more you research into the hacking, the more you see the same lame excuses from the developers. It isn’t a game anymore when one side can hack and see where you have placed all your ships.
