I utilized BandLab to get two publishing deals and I did it all from my phone and a tablet. One publishing deal for being an artist and the second one was for producing. after a break up where it was dire I needed the money for what I produced at that time, some people said the software isn’t up to par with the more notable programs that producers and artist or engineers may use. But I figured sound is really how you been the wavelength. I don’t know if it’s the best software, but I know I can use it to get the sound that I want for the most part. I’m not a professional engineer. I am an artist who spent hours and hours learning mixing with presets and vocal inflections etc. I am still learning. Before BandLab entered my life, music creation was a constant struggle against technical limitations and geographical isolation. The dream of producing my own music seemed distant, a vision blurred by the lack of accessible tools and platforms. Then came BandLab, a beacon of innovation in the digital audio workstation (DAW) landscape. With its user-friendly interface and a plethora of built-in presets, BandLab redefined what it meant to be a musician on the go. It wasn’t just a software; it was a revolution that turned my smartphone into a powerful studio. The impact was immediate and profound. BandLab’s integrated MIDI editor, vast library of loops, and virtual instruments unlocked a world of creativity that I never knew existed within me.
First off, This app is one of the best things to ever be created, it’s what took my passion for music to the next level, the whole interface is great, it’s not saturated in too many unnecessary features and yet it still provides enough features to make someone’s creative process have unlimited potential.. Although, recently this new update as well as the last one had caused a few bugs that have made it frustrating to record a proper track.. every time I go to do a recording session I can guarantee it will stop in the middle at a random time frame and force me to have to start recording all over again.. after it does it once it don’t happen again til I open a new project but this has completely screwed me up and made it way harder to record a song when I know right when I’m getting in my zone it’s guaranteed to shut me off.. also when I upload an instrumental that stem sometimes bugs out and the visual wave of they beat doesn’t match what the audio is actually playing it gets shifted and moved around and what the wave length is showing playing isn’t what actually playing.. that don’t seem like that big of a deal but it also effects my creative flow at times.. before these two issues recently I had no complaints what so ever about this app except for the fact that on pc BandLab is nearly impossible to use properly due to so many bugs and issues.. I pray the mobile version of BandLab never gets that bad or it will be devestating cuz my whole life revolves around this app for the last few years lol
This is the best app I have ever used for music creation I’ve been with band lab for about two years well since about 2019 but I’ve watch this app change they’re constantly adding features to it not just that it’s very interactive with multiple microphone sets through the USB of your phone the features are very very good as well as the computer version of this app there is a web browser version of this app that is phenomenal not so much for actual vocal recording but editing songs is a breeze on there as well If they can make a Windows downloadable version of this app I would be absolutely blown away because then maybe you could remove the pink that happens whenever you’re trying to record into a computer there is a vocal delay but overall the developers listen to the users and this app is ever evolving I’ve met multiple musicians collaborated with hundreds of people and the best part is you can do it virtually from your phone I’ve collaborated with people all over the world without this app I wouldn’t be where I’m at in my musical career it’s relatively safe as well though very good about keeping on top of any robot profiles and removing them honestly I’m very impressed with the developer team and how this app has evolved and is evolving one suggestion I would definitely give is maybe a tutorial button in the settings so that you can launch a pre-an app tutorial and it’ll walk you through the some of the basics and not really navigating the news feeds and stuff it can get kind of confusing But you rock band lab team or rap idk whatever y’all do keep doing it
I started using BandLab about 2 years ago, I absolutely love the improvements they keep making, and I now also test for them as I pay for the + subscription. BandLab by itself is free and hands down the best free DAW if you know how to use it. They have good tutorials but the best tutorial is learning a bit then tweaking it for your taste/style genre etc. I say this app changed my life because being able to make music and bring it to life has helped me emotionally so much and honestly sometimes being in the studio is like therapy except with art. I want to shout out to the developers and the creator, also my friend Cait who showed me the app. I find myself improving as well and now make full blown songs and am working on an album — at times, all from my phone. Sorry for the long review but it’s overdue for me! 🤗🥺🙏🏻 I also enjoy using the computer and I find BandLab is doing a good job with matching up mobile and PC features. They give you the tools but you as the user have to make the art and I love that. BandLab truly has changed my life. Iykyk when it comes to using it meaning it’s up to us— they won’t do it for you and I absolutely love that! I’m gonna end it haha but I want to also say I love their AI and splitter features they are coming out with, it does not make the art for you - simply helps provide a start or idea - and on contemplating that, I think that’s how it should be since obviously that is such of the every changing tech landscape. Thnx again to BandLab. 😭😭 not paid or anything whatsoever btw ! Just love the app. - Patrick Ray
I’ve been using BandLab for about a week now. Impressed with its features and ease of use. I’ve contributed to other peoples song posts (Forked songs) and also created some of my own. I haven’t even had to utilize the free download of the Cakewalk DAW offer, because the effects and tools in the basic BandLab Studio have been sufficient to produce some really great recordings. The mic in your iPhone or iPad work better than I expected for voice recording (I have better “real” mics available if needed, but so far haven’t had to use them) and I use an iRig to connect my guitar directly to my iPad/iPhone for recording of guitar tracks. I do wish there were easier ways to add a drum track though, more like how in GarageBand you just pick a drummer and add the track and it’s a great, full song length, instant drum track. In BandLab studio it’s a bit more tedious to get a starting drum track with variations, fills and such automatically in place (unless you find a drummer that has forked a full length song track(s) they have created). Personally as a guitarist, I like to just throw in a quick, generic (yet also complex enough to sound real) drum track to get a new song started quickly and inspire creativity, rather than just using a metronome. GarageBand is slightly better in that regard. All in all though, a great app! I’ve been on it pretty much daily since installing it. Highly recommend not only for artists and creators, but music fans that appreciate new music and finding “hidden gems” of songs as well.

Bandlab would be 5 stars if you had the ability to implement Soundfonts and especially sf2 files! I think the Bandlab virtual instruments just 1: instruments are very limited, and 2: can't really be edited well even with membership! If you could find a way to be able to import your own instruments like as i said before a Keyboard Styled Sampler where you import a video file and it will turn it into an instrument, that would be AMAING allowing for that kind of customizability! Lets say i am listening to music and i hear this cool instrument, i could then to research and figure out what instrument that is, play a snippet of it while screen recording, and let bandlab turn it into a virtual instruments for me to play and use! Maybe you could import a .wav file into bandlab and it could ask "would you like to turn this into an instrument" and if you said yes it will do its thing and bam you have an UNLIMITED amount of instruments. I have a feeling this IS possible since well GarageBand does that but without the video file importing. I really, really hope this could be a feature that gets added, i know i said this before but i definitely wanted to go into more detail into it. If this gets added i will probably keep using Bandlab for a very, very long time. So bandlab, if you see this, maybe take this into consideration :)
So for some reason, I’m not sure if it’s because I’m on Chromebook, but I’ll be getting a good studio session going and then randomly I press record on my computer and it records perfectly fine but when I press pause and try and re-listen to what I just recorded the track is not there and has no audio play. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or if it’s just my computer or my Internet, but this has been happening ever since this new update has happened and it’s just a bunch of small studio issues other than that great app, but the BandLab has been having some real issues on my end. I wish I can attach a video so you can visually see the, also another thing…BANDLAB GENUINELY HAS BEEN RUINING MY SONGS BY RANDOMLY HAVING STUDIO CRASHES!! For some reason it lags really hard right before it crashes and if not it the whole website goes blank right before i press save and makes me have to open a whole new tab and go back to the other tab with bandlab already opened, and boom all of my work will be gone completely!!! and if i happen to catch it before it crashes and save my session it says missing samples and has stripes thru my tracks with my vocals and sometimes the beat too, audio wont even play unless i close the studio… please fix these issues bandlab ive lost amazing songs and it would make life so much better if bandlab could cooperate with me :))
My time using that app has been absolutely amazing. I am an instrumentalist who specializes in woodwinds so I use this app to create my own arrangements of pieces I one day hope to conduct myself once I become a director. I started using the app when you could have up to 12 tracks and now you can have 16. The only issue I have is you can ‘only’ have up to 16 tracks. Yes, I know that seems like a lot when you’re looking at it, but when you’re arranging for a band that has around 20 instruments before percussion is even thought of, it gets really difficult to have that full sound you dream of and try to produce on your own. To be quite honest, the amount of tracks is the only thing I would change about the app as it develops. That app has helped me use music as an outlet even more than anything else has, but I’m still not able to do everything I want with the app which is difficult to feel like I’ve ever finished anything because I have to end up leaving half of the ensembles sound out of the recordings. Even if the number only went to 18 or 20 it would open up a whole new world of possibilities for aspiring musicians such as myself. Other than that one detail, the app is phenomenal and has so many options from types of reverb to adjusting the whole key of the piece by the scroll of your thumb. It is quite amazing and y’all should definitely check it out!
When I first started using the app, I only used it for music until I discovered other features, and now that I think about it, I probably just like to make music, nothing else. Most “bands” only include self promotions, and when I try to report them for spam, nobody does anything about it and it’s annoying. One of the popular artists on BandLab always self promotes his and other people’s music, but he never gets suspended and it’s getting really annoying. The reasons I’ll get suspended or receive a warning are a little bit dumb. The first 2 were bugs, but there was 1 that said I had “vIoLaTeD tHe cOmMunItY gUiDElinEs” when I did absolutely nothing. Then, later on, I got a warning for “bUlLyInG” when the person who reported me called me a f—er and was the one bullying me. If y’all are going to let that person call me a f—er on this app then at least don’t give me a warning for saying it in the comments of a post. I didn’t even mean it literally, I just copy pasted lyrics from Stayed Gone into my comment. Also, people who do “reviews” on BandLab just hate everything. They always hate my music, and I’m always trying to improve, so please don’t allow this on your app if you want it to be good!
I've been with bandlab for around 3 years now. And I haven't found a single other app that compares. Bandlab stands alone without exaggeration. They are constantly improving the app and fine tuning it, always adding new fun and useful features. They (developers) pay attention to our suggestions and work them in to the updates. They are on top of the feedback, even if you tend to be a bit...uncommon(???)... Idk how many people they have in their team, but they are all musicians who know their stuff and that's who responds when you have feedback. I have seen this app grow into an amazing place to create music...not just music; but professional quality, music you can be proud of, I think there's like millions of users??? Alot! And many are some pretty heavy hitters in the musical world. All over the world! Intermingling and ready to collaborate with YOU! Seriously! I've learned and grown so much more than I expected to because of this FREE app. Bandlab has become a home to me because of the devoted developers, the amazing musicians from all corners of the world, and the tools that allow me to create music that I could not do if bandlab wasn't available or cost $. Thank you bl devs... Y'all add the music to a muted world🖤
I’ve been going hardcore 😤on Bandlab for about four years now. 😖I got it when you guys first started getting good😠, and you only barely had any effects or anything to work with digitally to master from a mix. 🤔It took me a while to understand it🥵, but after I learned the harmonics, 🫢vibrato,🤭 and a whole lot of music theory, 🤗I dug in and put in extra work.🫡 I’ve been working hard and coherently, 😊and pretty soon, 🙂↕️oh, what about you about me? 😏So, thank you 🙏for all those blessings, resources, 😇and opportunities bestowed on me. 💪🏾It is so much appreciated. 🦾God🙏 bless you 🫵🏽and all that you love 🍀. Everybody will hear about me getting closer each day, 🦾so soon as I step into the “limelight,” 🤢🤮🙂↔️😏I will be given all the credit to my great teacher's band lab; 🤓thank you🫶🏼 for all the help 👊you have given me. 🤲🏽You taught me ☝️what I needed to work on to become a better artist, 🤜🤛understand and comprehend myself, 🤜🤛and grow. I appreciate all the time put into this beautiful software. 🤜🤛If I could help in any way, let me know.🦾 I got notes and everything I’ve done🫶🏼🍀👐🏻thank you. Have a wonderful day 🙌day. God bless. 🙌Bless… 🫵🏽
I don’t usually write reviews for apps AT ALL but this app alone has made it possible to easily express a creative musical side of myself. I just got the app just under two weeks ago since writing this and I’ve already recorded 7 fully produced songs. They’re pretty basic because I’m still learning but this app has made it possible nonetheless and there’s still so many features I have yet to figure out fully. My friend recommended it to me and I’m so glad I got it. The fact that it has so many features without annoying pop up ads is incredible. I’d rate 6 stars if I could (Continued) Ok I found a problem that is insanely annoying. I’ve been trying out a new modern rap type style of music lately and Bandlab as usual has been doing great at helping me with that except for one problem. I need to use the auto pitch feature for this style of music and turning it up causes random faint popping noises to appear on the vocal tracks. I’ve tried everything and it just won’t go away. This glitch/flaw is literally the only thing I’ve encountered on this app that is holding it from the status of perfection.
Hey BandLab I can’t thank you enough for making it easy to record music like this. I use your app every time I write lyrics and was ready to make music, but something came up. The Ipad I used to make my music doesn’t work anymore so I bought a new iPad Air. Thing is I can’t connect any of my earphones or headphones to my iPad Air so I can’t really make music. My friend bought me a v8 to make my music high quality and studio like but it runs on Bluetooth. Please do everything you can to make BandLab support Bluetooth without any latency or delay and make it sound exactly how it sounds on wired earphones or headsets. I’d love to continue using your app to make music because other apps makes it complicated. And BandLab is the only app I’ll call a real studio without any equipment but I have a v8 to make my music sound better and I can’t use it on BandLab because it’s Bluetooth. Make Bluetooth work on BandLab and I’ll forever be grateful that you came into my life, if you can’t I understand and I’ll try to find something to continue making my music on wired earphones. Thank you for reading all of this, you’re the best.
I’ve used this app for about 1-2 years and I’m honestly confused by what has changed and what hasn’t. As a creator I find it hard to make any future projects when a certain MIDI instrument doesn’t sound exactly like I want it to, everything sounds fine once the song is finished editing. but when listening to the song using those MIDI instruments the song sounds rather off or “Corrected”, this makes me loose motivation for making or finishing any future projects which lead to scraping those ideas and trying to create something else different from the last. I’ve also noticed how you can’t hear something that was recorded previously when using a MIDI instrument, just a suggestion to add some sort of switch or button that mutes and unmutes what was previously recorded. For the most part this app is good but it could use more fixes than any changes what so ever. These are all the things that I think could use improving overall it is a great app and I would use this app more if these bugs were already dealt with.
BandLab is an excellent app for music making and listening. I absolutely love it. That is, until a problem occurred. I went to get into the app just yesterday and instead of going in straight to my profile and the normal screen, it had the entire intro log in screen show up as if I logged out of my account, which I never do. When I tried logging in using my information, is kept on saying that I have “incorrect credentials”. So, I tried logging in with my google account instead. I thought it would work, but then I got a pop-up saying that my email is “already linked to a different account type”. So now, I can’t log in AT ALL, or access any of my stuff, which is really frustrating. It also makes me worried that my account somehow got lost, along with all of my stuff on it. I still get notifications telling me that people liked my song, or started following me, but even when I tap on the notification banner that shows up at the top of the screen to take me to the app, NOTHING HAPPENS. If you could please help in any way or give some sort of advice as to what I should do, thank you. My music is very important to me and I don’t want it to be lost forever with my account. Thank you.
I absolutely LOVE Bandlab. I have told alllll of my friends about it, and I have been on it nonstop since I figured out there was an app. (It’s a little funky on my Windows PC) Anywho, although this is a phenomenal app for bedroom artists; I am hoping to see better vocal editing features in the future. (Like pitch correcting/autotune etc) I enjoy the filters and effects they have available, but it would be nice to be able to stack filters, change the intensity of the effect without completely resetting the presets.. and separating vocals from instrumentals? Other than that it would be nice to merge layers (or just be able to add more! I’m running out of layer space and making one song with multiple projects!!) overall I would get the app. It’s easy to use, it’s fun, and it makes making music soo much easier than you could ever imagine it. Don’t let my suggestions deter you from the download! I’m hoping Bandlab will add those in the future and eventually you could they could take over GarageBand as the best iOS music editor lol. Thank you BandLab for your hard work and dedication to bringing music to everyday people like me
This app is amazing if your a beginner and your looking for a user friendly app or if you simply have 0 budget (I know that all too well 😭) it’s super, SUPER easy to navigate, almost fool proof really, and it’s simple to make music and post also. Bandlab has free sound packs for basically all genres that you can use to make your own beats, you can plug in your guitar into your phone/iPad and record straight into the app, you can plug in a microphone and record/ mix vocals, you can tune instruments, you can import beats/ samples at the click of a button… basically BandLab does it all for none 😂. The only cons are (in my opinion) that there isn’t any way you can plug in your own drum kids/midi instruments which is the biggest con, so you have to use the instrument plug ins they give you, which aren’t great in general but are especially bad if your looking to make rap beats. Plus it can kinda be slow on a phone sometimes, which is hard when I’m working on a song and it takes forever to load in a sample. But even with all this in mind, ITS FREE FOR GOODNESS SAKE and totally worth a download if you’ve been looking for something like this!
It’s still a great app, but it’s no longer a competitor of Garage Band despite being more feature rich and intuitive, because if you have Garage Band, you don’t have ads in your face I remember when it was true free and that was a point of pride. Now literally has pop-ups if you’re not paying a subscription. I get they gotta make money but I really miss the white paper that talked about avoiding this forever. Since the devs popped in, they were absolutely making money before introducing ads or it never would have gotten this big, they had paid upgrades, but the free version was too good, so I’m guessing they weren’t hitting their goals, but regardless of the reasoning behind the switch, I feel like there’s middle ground between ads that are barely an inconvenience and full blown pop ups designed with the intention of inconveniencing you into a subscription. Collecting royalties on music produced is also an income driver, but instead, it’s in your face ads because at some point every company throws their initial values out the window for a buck, it’s capitalism, their are no villains, just people who want your dollars
I was skeptical of this app at first because of the fact that it was a DAW mixed with social media platform I thought that might be kind of dorky or something but that was just my hesitancy as a hipster or whatever you wanna call it I’ll just get down to business though and say that the DAW side of this is really powerful and if you are someone who is seasoned with using DAW’s then you’ll find yourself right at home here and the social media aspect of it all makes it really easy to put your music out there and like get reactions from people and even build up like a support base or Fanbase even and you can even monetize on here really easily and the master for you really easily and even distribute. It’s like a dream in the age of digital everything to have all this in one app plus much more I am sure I’m leaving out and on top of that it’s FREE. literally FREE mastering?! That’s unheard of folks. Mastering is the “dark art” of the music biz and it’s not something you can learn and get good at without the proper equipment, experienced ear and advanced knowledge compressor/limiters, eq, dithering, dynamic effects, modulation… mastering is a closely guarded art and people pay thousands of dollars for the top mastering techs to get “that sound” the other thing mastering does is catalogue and tag your music so it can be mass produced and monetized effectively. I’m getting kinda off topic sorry. I digress. From the artist or musician looking to “make it” but has no idea what they’re doing to the seasoned ones who are tired of the industry all the way to the over the hill last hurrah boutique album creators will be right at home here and able to thrive from a powerful DAW plus a inclusive and supportive community fostering collaboration and individuality. Wow it’s not just a dream anymore. Thank you BandLab!
BandLab is a revolutionary music app that has completely transformed the way I create, collaborate, and share music. From the moment I started using it, I was blown away by its intuitive interface and the wealth of features it offers. Whether you're a seasoned producer or just starting out, BandLab provides everything you need to bring your musical ideas to life. One of the standout aspects of BandLab is its user-friendly design. The DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) is incredibly powerful, yet easy to navigate, making it accessible for all levels of musicians. The multitrack editor is a dream to work with, offering a seamless experience whether you're recording live instruments, layering samples, or experimenting with effects. Collaboration is another area where BandLab truly shines. The ability to easily connect with other musicians, share projects, and work on tracks together in real-time is a game-changer. It's like having a fully-equipped studio and a network of talented musicians right in your pocket. The cloud-based storage also means you can access your projects from anywhere, which is perfect for on-the-go creativity. The social aspect of BandLab is also fantastic. The community is vibrant and supportive, offering endless opportunities to discover new music, get feedback on your work, and connect with other artists. The platform's regular contests and challenges are a great way to stay inspired and push your creative boundaries. BandLab's commitment to making high-quality music production accessible to everyone, regardless of budget, is commendable. The fact that such a powerful tool is available for free is nothing short of amazing. In short, BandLab has become an indispensable part of my music-making process. It has empowered me to create and share my music in ways I never thought possible. Kudos to the BandLab team for creating such an incredible platform!
I really like bandlab but there are groups of bots and real people on there that will steal and manipulate your intellectual properties (music)… even people posing as or actual bandlab staff will recycle or straight up steal your music… They have no appreciation for the art… and they will gang up and not let you grow… they will blanket your work… it’s frustrating to say the least… someone has access to every personal account I’ve had and I’ve had complete songs go missing… I work very hard on my music and want to make a living doing it… bandlab offers a unique experience with the user friendly set up and touch screen simplicity… the ability to share and collaborate with anyone across the world is a great feature… I’ve been on band lab for 4 years and I have grown accustomed to being able to catch ideas while mobile but the security risk and the rampant thieving is to much for me as a future professional… I can’t recommend at the moment but would gladly reconsider if some changes are made…
Ever since I subscribed on January 3rd I knew I was gonna use the heck out of the 18 styles of Autotune, the AI Voice cleanser, and I use The AI Voice changer for my Bridges and my breakdowns in my newer songs. It’s really cool that I can use production from Logic Pro and I can just record my vocals on BandLab. And I can just remember looking at vision board knowing that my music in 2026 was gonna be futuristic but with a retro twist. Because as a music producer, that likes to sing and rap, and feel like A DJ. I think getting A BandLab subscription is the best decision I’ve made. And they are synths and basses that are sound really fascinating. And I plane on using those kinda sounds later on this year. And It will probably be in the summer of late June or July idk but I have a feeling that I am gonna make it happen. And I think of the kind of Album and record that I want to put out this year ,and when it comes to the BandLab subscription, I have a feeling that this will be my year to rise to prominence. (Or who knows I could be an independent artist winning a Grammy) so to conclude Bandlab rules!!! 🥰🤩
This app (and website) is one of the best if not best when considering friendly usability and even quality (I won’t pay for a track recorder).I’ve been using BandLab since 2018 and have found very very very very few shortcomings, if not only one. The one single downfall of this app is that it can’t make the music I make good; I have to do that. To be real, I love this app and believe it has capabilities to master songs at quality for radios and streaming. I challenge everyone to explore this app because it has the ability to help you and me express ourselves and the more people truly express themselves with music, the more music will evolve. It doesn’t have some of the features a professional studio would offer, but I have found BandLab offers tricks and extra perks so that I can master tracks in what I consider to be a close-to-masterful way. I wouldn’t ever complain about this app. Record your sound, experiment, and create! Use BandLab! I’d write better, but I want to fix this 15 minute long track before work.
BandLab devs, I LOVED this app until ads were added. Now every time I open the app there are two or three ads shoved in my face before I can even open a project. It devalues everything the app is for, and the developer response is always, “ads help to keep this app free for everyone!” All they’re doing is driving people away; nobody wants to pay $99 a year for an app they came to BECAUSE it was free. I understand there are funds you need, but keep the subscription how it used to be, because this is cheapening and ruining the app. I wouldn’t be so against the ads if not for the fact that half of them you can’t even exit out of. This app has become completely unusable for me because no X button appears and I can’t even get to my projects. I’m looking at reviews and it seems to be a VERY common issue. Fix your app, devs. Edit: The problem was fixed! Ads are still prevalent but I don’t mind as much, because I can use the app again. Thanks, devs, for listening and making a genuine effort to fix problems.
So recently i deleted my old account on bandlab because i wanted to start over. after i deleted my old account i made a new one. so on my new account, i go on and try to renew my bandlab subscription because i already have one right?? NOPE!! can’t do that. it’s saying that my subscription is “still active on my old account”?? that shouldn’t be possible because i deleted my old account. i tried to email them, they misunderstood my question. i emailed again to explain to them what has happened, and no response. i just want to be able to have my subscription on my new account without any issues. i don’t want to have to wait a WHOLE MONTH and wait for my subscription to end just for me to buy it again. bandlab should have a solution when people create new accounts, they can automatically renew their subscription that they already pay for from their old one. i don’t have multiple accounts too! just one. be careful.
Usually, I have nothing wrong with this site. I’m able to use it as I please, and make content like normal. On average, I usually give BandLab 5 Stars whenever I can, but for once, I have to give it four stars this time all because of an issue when posting a submission. Usually, whenever you go to post something on BandLab, you hit the “Publish” button and it becomes available for everyone to see. For me however, as of lately for a few days now, I would go to publish something (that has been “Private” before), only need to get a notification that it got unpublished without warning, and became “Private” once more. I’ve refreshed the page, I went to my page to make sure it’s there, but no matter what I did, every single time I go to “Publish” something, it immediately forces the project to go back “Private” without me, even knowing about it. Please, if there is any way to resolve this issue, please do so, because I’ve tried everything, but nothing’s working. Only then, will I go back to giving this app/site 5 stars
So it’s a great app overall and I finally ran into an issue I made a brand new song was very proud and about to post it and I clicked save so I could go and tweak some things and make my audio more clear then only to realize the app only saved the beat and not my voice audio and my lyrics disappeared that I had written down aswell I’m overall really disappointed that out of all issues hat could have happened it was this issue I have never had issues until now I would love a reply from a developer or someone that can help me because maybe it got lost in like the apps cloud or something but I worked so hard on this song and now I have nothing but the beat no none of my vocals are there anymore, and my lyrics have been erased aswell off the app please someone write back and please fix this bug on your app at this point I’ve tried all I could to retrieve my lost vocals and lyrics so I’m trying to the developer please help me because I was really proud of this song and I hate dissapointing all my fans I have everywhere😢🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I NEVER write reviews for apps, let alone rate them but I am so happy with this app I just felt I needed to share.... I like to import an instrumental version of a song and then add multiple tracks of myself singing over it, harmonizing with myself, basically. I’ve tried so many apps to do this but they either don’t allow me to import my own song or they don’t allow me to edit my vocals or they charge money to use certain features. The only other app I’m aware of that could do this is GarageBand but that can be difficult to figure out and 98% of the time, it doesn’t let me import songs from my phone for some reason. I get so frustrated with it. I’ve have zero issues with BandLab and it allows you to use all editing feature for FREE. Also, there aren’t ads popping up every 5 seconds like every other free app out there. This app is a breath of fresh air and I’m so thankful I’ve found it. It does exactly what I need it to do, with no issues and all for free. To the developers: Thanks so much! Keep up the good work!
The New eq capabilities of BandLab is awesome. I really appreciate the having the ability to eq vocals and instruments Manuel because it gives us creators the freedom to be more creative and and makes the music sound that much more crisp. And if you know what you are doing you can really achieve that studio quality sound. I hope the developers of this app doesn’t take any of these amazing features away. However they should add more features like the ability to be compatible with a larger range of midi controllers also they should try to a more instrument high quality instrument voices and pianos and sounds. Also if possible I’d love for them to allow more than 12 tracks on any project for more complex composition. That would be also. That said, as it stands now, this app is amazing and can only get so much better. It’s definitely my go to app for writing and formulation film scores composition and song ideas. Keep up the good work band land team you guys are definitely appreciated.🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽✨🌟🌟
I have been using BandLab for a few months I started in November 2021 and first I was just using it to master my songs I started off creating beats on another platform and using BandLab only for mastering but I started to play around with BandLab and found that it was more of a community than just a mastering and be making app and I fell in love with BandLab I use it every freaking day and I have created relationships with other artists. Using BandLab is very rewarding since it gives you an audience and it gives you avenues to be a better artist I also have ReverbNation and just found out that they are both tied in together so that is a plus I highly suggest BandLab to anybody and ReverbNation to anybody who is starting off as an artist and wants to master their talents thank you BandLab Singapore for creating this app you are a freaking genius and I hope to make many more masterpieces with your platform and I hope to master your platform and become one of the greatest thank you- EDNITA CASTILLO
I like the music app a lot!! Its very good for music, or writing down a buncha small melodies i have in my head, and there’s a WHOLE bunch of instruments you could use. Though, i do wish the piano and violins (and other organic instruments) sound a bit more like playing it in real life, ive never tried FL studio before, but when i heard their instruments they sounded a lot more real, and i wish bandlab couldve done that too. I know you can make ur own instrument and stuff, but i think that its too tedious to continuously record 88 keys for each and crop the audio. Maybe thats just me, but i wish you guys could make it sound more like, real yknow? I dont even have a violin so i cant even record the audio and make my own instrument. But otherwise, love the app, its like an easier version of fl studio! Def the best music app here, but wouldve given 5 stars if the organic instruments sounded a bit more real :D
There’s no other like it helped me find my sound Years later update still love BandLab No other app like it , I’ve since put together a home studio But I still use BandLab to get new ideas out fast , Its the ultimate portable studio app,It has great presets to start from it finds the key of the beat has great auto tune coupled with great plugins that are extremely easy to understand up to 16 tracks and it’s so fun with a comprehensive work flow , This is what helped me early on learning to rap and sing , I created EPS , Mixtapes , and Albums that my friends and family thought I went to the studio to make when I was younger making songs everywhere from my room , my school , parks around my house , my bathroom at home , my basement at home , etc. All and All I truly love BandLab it’s been a huge part of my growth as an artist and much more tools for Collabs and growth tools to help grow a fan base like Contest and Master last but not least other user that you can get inspiration from purely deluxe I love you BandLab.
If you’re like me, and you have a passion for music & music making whether you want to make a song by scratch or remix it, BandLab is the way to go. I mainly use it for remixing old jazzy classic music & making it into electro swing which this is the perfect app to do so with. I have always liked electro swing even when 2020 came round and the genre became big with such artists like, Peggy Suave or Glenn Gatsby, you could do it with this app whenever you want. You could make music like them with this app because you could not only remix but start from scratch with loads of cool sounds and loops. I also like remixing EDM or house music which BandLab provides many beats you could make to jam out with, or you can make your own. Totally up to you. I also like the compressors and pedals. They really add some pizzazz to my music. 1 more thing, thank you BandLab for making this experience so great & I give a five star rating for my enjoyment in this app!!! BandLab keep making this app awesome!
I’ve used BandLab for about a year now to build my music career. This is the only app I’ve used and it’s done wonders and worked the exact way I wanted it to. The only problem I have is this update. I thought the update would be better to be honest. When I read the update log I was super excited. Once the update was done I opened BandLab and the look was way better but the feel of it didn’t feel right. I don’t know what it is there’s something off and the way I sound when I record now just feels off. I’m in a discord server with a bunch of other music creators and they are all dissatisfied with the update. We all were wishing that there would have been an update to the auto tune. Like if there were more options and effects. Kind of like they have in FL studio. These could be paid or not I’d still buy them if they were paid. But over all this is the best app rn for music. I just don’t like the née feel but it still beats everything else.
There are still a few things you have to work on! For example the AutoTune Feature, it sounds all muffled up if I want to use it, also you should add more Vocal Effects for example a Slapback Effect or a Distortion Effect and a Vocal Harmony or Voice Pitch Changer. There are all sorts of ideas, these Features above I suggest. I use this App almost everyday and I create amazing songs with it. Also, please try to change the Microphone Frequency or make it sound better because it doesn't sound that bad but it could be better as well. Just make it sound a bit more realistic like the Application "Take" does. They make it sound really good and also have many Effects. And please make the Beats or Music that you import automatically change the BPM to the BPM of the Beat. For example I upload a Beat with 140BPM, but BandLab still tells me its 120BPM, which is why I have to first add my Vocal Tracks, then change the BPM, then add the Beat to match the BPM. I don't mean to stress you add, those are just things to make your App even better! Love you, keep going forward!
I really liked this app to get started producing because it’s simple enough to get the hang of but complex enough that you have options for editing and adding tracks. I’ve been using it for years now and appreciate they haven’t taken away or restricted basic features however as I grow as a musician I’ve been realizing things I wish I could do but can’t easily such as mid song tempo changes. The addition of ads has been a big annoyance to me and the membership isn’t worth it to me but I suppose that is typical for apps now. I gave 4 stars because although I enjoy the app and will continue to use it until I grow into “real music software” there have been a few occasions where my save got corrupted and deleted my progress. It is rare I just recommend having good internet connection and double checking that the save has synced before closing the app. The more you play with it the more features you will stumble upon. Have fun and good luck fellow aspiring musicians!
Forget garageband, this app has the most simple yet diverse interface I have ever used, people can master using it in days, but then you still find out features you didn't even know were on it, which makes no sense but thats how great it is 😂 I produce my beats on here, record vocals, mix it all, add effects and filters, it even lets you convert video to audio that you can put in your songs without the need for a MP4 to MP3 converter, it already comes built in. You can upload your music on the domain, and it gains attention because of the features like creator connect, groups, and so much more that makes sure your music doesnt just get lost in the mix like SoundCloud, which I uploaded numerous songs on and amounted to 46 followers, I have uploaded 2 songs and a couple comments to bandlab and have almost reached 500. I would rate this app 6 stars if I could, has helped me bring my music creativity to life, and has helped countless friends of mine do the same. 👌🏽
This is my favorite music production app yet. Most have very limited functionality, have few instruments (or if they have a large variety, most are locked behind a paywall), or are difficult to use. BandLab has basically none of these issues. It’s easy to use, has a variety of MIDI instruments spanning several genres and styles (as well as recording and amp features), and so far I’ve seen no payed content. I don’t think there are even ads; if there are, they’re so unobtrusive I haven’t noticed. The sharing and forking features are also nice. I only have one real criticism of the app: for some reason, playing your music back in the mix editor causes popping in the phone speaker. This ONLY happens in the editor itself and it doesn’t happen with headphones. Just the speaker. Music playback in other parts of the app is fine, and I even screen recorded the editor playback and there were no audio artifacts. It’s strictly some sort of issue between the editor and the speaker. EDIT: On a closer listen, I think the artifacts may be present in the screen recording too. Regardless, it’s an issue that needs fixing, but otherwise the app works perfectly. I also hope even more MIDI instruments will be added, such as a strummed guitar as opposed to the fingerpicked versions we’re mostly limited to now. The variety of instruments is, again, fantastic, but more variety in the sounds those instruments can make would make the app absolutely perfect.
Ever since my cat died of being crushed in a hydraulic press I had trouble coping And now I’m having to go back and fix my own teeth because my tooth hurts and I have a bad back and I can’t get a good one and my tooth hurts but it’s been hurting for like two months and my teeth hurt and I can’t get any better and my tooth is so sore I have a tooth and I can’t get out and I’m not going back and I have a sore one so I’m going to have to get out to get my teeth and get a dentist but I’m gonna have my tooth fixed I just don’t wanna get a little sore so I’m gonna go get a new toothbrush I just don’t want you know how it is and then I’m going back and I have a good night and I have to get my tooth is that I have to get some pain medicine to see you know how you can get a good day love and then I’ll talk later love and I’ll be thinking of me to see how you’re feeling good luck with the way I hope you’re so I hope you’re feeling good I miss seeing your mom and daddy
Very nice app Dont mind my the title I make music for my animations
I love this app I’ve been using it track after track
What I love about this app is you can record digital sounds with out any feed back with my other one I had to put it in a file and once I did it would say the file is not available so this helps a lot thx so much for helping me spread my imagination!
Don’t loose users because you’re trying to make more revenue. Find a balance. Just my 2cent anyways ✌️
Great app was wondering how to make my midi keyboard not be pressure sensitive but that’s all
I love this it really helps me make songs and just jam on my piano
I made a good song with it :)
Je veux que ça sois gratuit
I’ve been using BandLab for a while now, and it has become an indispensable tool in my music production workflow. The multi-track recording and mixing capabilities are top-notch, allowing me to bring my musical ideas to life with ease. The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it accessible for both beginners and seasoned musicians. I especially love the variety of effects and the comprehensive library of sound samples available. A few more customizable shortcuts and an expanded sample library would be fantastic additions. Overall, BandLab is an excellent platform for anyone looking to create, collaborate, and share their music. Keep up the great work!
Besides the ads and premium, the application itself is pretty great ! I used to be confused on how to use it, and I would switch app after app trying to find another easier DAW to use. I think I never realized that bandlab is the easiest one there is 😅 now I’m back on track !
@yacassie check out my profile just released a new song also check out my friend @itzkayn9ne
It is a very good app to use to make music
5 stars
It’s good. Make more features membership free
Super beau
If you’re up for making indie songs, singing the dub cover of anime OP/ED, and/or doing voice acting with effects from scratch, I highly recommend BandLab!
I Went In The Studio And I Put Drum Vocals And Reverb Even My Brother Helped

Really helpful app, even without premium, it still works relatively good , sure you can’t use all the features, but you can still use enough to make good music
Thank you
It’s very fun you can make your own song
The instruments on BandLab is similar to Sprunki! Also, you can create Sprunki whatever you want! 10/10 masterpiece!
5 stars

BandLab – Music Maker & Beats Negative Reviews and Ratings
Ive been using this app for 3 years to make music and its was a great app. But recently this hasn’t been the best experience. First off to cater people to getting the worst premium deal, they added ads so every time i go to a project i have to be interrupted. Additionally the bots and scammers on this app got way worse. Ive had people ask for my ssn just so they can give me money so i could “work with them”. Today was the last straw. So i made a revision on a project at 9:05 am ct. The project said it was processing not allowing me to access it for a couple minutes…but now its 11:35 when im typing this and i still can’t access any projects im working on. I sent 2 complaints one to ask how to solve the issue and one giving them the project name to solve the issue. Instead of helping they send a auto email about to fix syncing problems…which has 0 things to do with processing. They only say if my project isnt processing to reset my web but a have the app. So now i made 4 verses on some tuff songs that i cant access because this app and its company is bsing it. They arent hands on with anything, they dont see themselves even as legitimate competition to other services like soundcloud or studios like fl. This would be a 4 star if this was january. But this right now is absolute garbage. Rapchat is better than this foolishness. Bandlab creators fix the app i shouldn’t have to make a angry review because you dont want to fix a problem with your app.
Update: At this point it rarely works longer than an hour. I delete and download this multiple times a day to make one song :( it happens at any point. Right when I open the app. Or when I’m about to finish. Or when I’m in the middle of recording. It will just force close or suddenly sign me out and say I can’t sign back in. (Error or this link doesn’t exist) That’s when I have to delete it. Also, When I open an existing file. It will randomly say my microphone doesn’t work or I have to choose that option. But It was fine a second ago when I recorded. I’ll push record and it’s an old recording I deleted etc. these are the problems I have. But I still use it with all these frustrations because there’s nothing else out there like this.. So there is no other app out there like this. It’s amazing. I will continue to use it even though there are a few glitches and errors that occur. Sometimes for no reason. It will force close. Then I spend a few minutes deleting the app and downloading again. That seems to be the only suggestion from the support group. It does work but a little inconvenient. Sometimes songs just disappear. I’ve had a few occasions of them showing up again. But I’ve also lost a few. I just save them to my computer now. For me, the pros outweigh the cons. Only because I’ve never found a app this simple where you can record your music and singing. Also, the community is awesome :)
To start things off I really love making music on the go with this app, and it’s great for producing in general, but some things just bother me. 1.) The fade out feature should have specific automation parameters so I can fade out a song to fit my needs instead of settling with whatever you guys thought was good. 2.) Sampler should automatically have a piano roll for each sample pad so you can play the sample in different notes other than just the one note. Having to tweak notes as is doesn’t sound good at all. 3.) The playback on an iphone or any phone is the most frustrating thing in the world and makes me quit the app almost every time. Why would I click bar 5 trying to replay what I just made and end up in a blank space 15 bars ahead because I forgot to press pause? I also hate trying to key in midi notes and it just follows along I should be able to opt out of the follow along so I can keep working in a specific area without getting dragged away from it. You should also be able to just create a virtual instrument with your own samples if I can choose the dog meat already there I should be able to make my own too. Otherwise this app is great and I’ve already put enough people on to speak my peace about it lol please fix these things! I would refer to ableton live because that’s the best DAW there is and you can learn a lot from their piano roll/sampler features as well as automation and audio effects. Thanks for coming to my ted talk this is just structured criticism from someone who loves making music and sees the potential in this app.
First, to explain the 3 stars, i think this app is really good! I’ve been using it for sometime and so far it’s been alright, but it’s cons over weighs the pros sometimes. first of all, it feels like stuff just doesn’t just doesn’t sound like what it should, like sometimes the drums just doesn’t sound like it was shown, now that could just very much be me but in some areas like it just doesn’t sound right. second the newer updates are… bad. like why is everything premium only? you add new features and their all premium, like splitter, why not make it free when other places do instead of like having a daily limit, now the limit isn’t that long to be fair, but cmon, just do it. also samples? why them? they used to be free and were one of the things i liked about bandlab, so many samples we can work with, but now we have to buy them or pay for premium, which none of us wanna do. and why are new features always premium? and sometimes they don’t even say premium just Ai or beta, and why mastering too? also this ain’t a complaint but can we have more instruments? third, ads are annoying, now they appear whenever i open a project, the app, a song, whenever, maybe loosen up the ads a bit, or premium.
In the beginning band lab was so freaking awesome. You had access to A+ recording software. The applications really was geared to new and growing artists with a great community of fellow artist to share your work with and grow. Now, just like Facebook, MySpace, eBay, and every other corporate tainted “machine” is slowly being geared twords a paid premium service. The day is fast approaching where bandlab is more concerned with revenue and how to leach money from the user to grow their company and software to which really needed none of that to begin with. The day is probably already here. So instead of downloading this app, go to guitar center or sweet water and buy a multi track recorded that comes with a lifetime subscription to software and put your stuff out on SoundCloud or reverb cuz really no one ever gets famous off this app anyway. It’s now just a way for some corporate slime ball to line their pockets while making an aspiring artist gain hope of something that has never happened and will never happen from using this app. Yea it’s cool and fun but not worth putting any dollars in at all. Also there are a lot of scammers out there trying to message people saying they want to sign them blah blah blah, just to get their bank account information to take their money or use their information to fraud other people.
This is quite a concept and it’s executed well, there are a few frustrations keeping it from 5 stars in my book. The social aspect is exceptional, bar none the best in the App Store in music creation and collaboration. Very well done. The interface could be a little easier to navigate in some instances, like the first direct message I had to reply to took me a minute to find. They have a built in DAW which is super cool, and it works, great if your adding vocals but a real frustration for me is when I import a track I’ve made elsewhere, it simply just can not read the tempo at which the track is or the key. It auto sets the project to 120 and C minor (I believe) for every project, when you match your imported tracks tempo and key it sounds wayyyy off. For example I had a song in E sharp and the tempo was 134 bpm. When I matched the project to my track it sounded like Alvin and the chipmunks with the pitch and the tempo was apparently faster. The real frustration is when you fork someone’s track, it’s hard to match the true tempo of the track your remixing bcz even though the project has it at 120 it’s not on beat essentially. The other problem is when you export someone’s track to fork, the audio quality is noticeably bad to where anything you add to their track is significantly louder and crisper. The fork feature is one of my favorite things about it, just a shame that these issues make it such a hassle. Last thing I’ve noticed that’s annoying is uploading my tracks can take forever sometimes....if you aren’t in a perfect WiFi area it can stay uploading for quite some time. Otherwise, great stuff. Hopefully these things will be improved upon in the future.
The app is easy to use and I like the setup, however this app has the most aggressive advertising ever be warned! Blaring volume minute long adds will pop up while you are literally in the middle of recording so loud that you nearly go deaf and have to rip off your headphones and you can’t mute it or sometimes they hide the mute button somewhere on the screen the same color as the background so you can’t find it and have to sit and wait for it to end and it totally ruins your flow. Sometimes you will record something and then it says subscribe to record halfway through recording so only a portion is recorded. Or to get to a button you have to click the subscribe button first to get to it. Many of the features you have to subscribe to even use. Sometimes to listen to your song you have to sit through long advertisements. However besides the aggressive advertising, I like the app, I don’t use it enough to subscribe though, just long enough to get frustrated enough to write about the bloody advertising. It is probably a perfect amazing app if you pay for it every month. But I need to put gas in my car and eat, so priorities.
I have been using BandLab for almost two years now and it’s pretty good. One of the downsides is if you wanna make music there’s only 16 tracks available and that’s obviously not enough cause music requires so many tracks and if your broke you obviously can’t buy the pro. Another downside is the amount of bugs and glitches. BandLab keeps making my voice delayed in the project and it makes my vocals off beat. I have many other friends who have voiced this problem happening to them too. Not to mention, with the ads it keeps freezing on the ad and not showing the x button so I have to delete the app and redownload it. I have deleted and redownloaded BandLab 4 times this week already and it’s only Monday. Another issue is that if you do buy pro and use all the tracks it lags horribly and will force exit out of the app. Other than those downsides, it’s a really nice app. Your able to add nice mixing to vocals, there are numerous instruments and honestly if your looking for a free music app besides GarageBand that’s easy to use BandLab is the one for you. Thank you and please try to fix these bugs.
I really love that this program is free and works on my phone. However, I have a few suggestions on fixing problems. The first problem is there are a limited amount of tracks (I think 10 or 12). This should be increased to 20. Second, you have to mix down a midi track (VSTi) into an audio track to fade the ends. Third, I should be able to change the pitch of each individual note like I can with its velocity. Fourth, there needs to be a way to import plugins, or make available a side chain compressor, multiple stutter and timing effects, and a minimoog type plugin to control multiple characteristics of a sound. Fifth, it is impossible to paste more than a group 5 tracks. Sixth, the red looping ruler is extremely complicated to adjust in the single track key grid. Seventh, the grid octave range is limited and will not play notes beyond or below it. I really like the AI generated song starter! I think it would be even more helpful if you could utilize it during production to suggest fill-ins and alternate music logic for sections after the chorus. Overall this is a wonderful program!! Thanks a lot!
If I could give Bandlab a 0, I would, I just can’t. I have worked for so many incredible and famous artists, and I was just looking for an app to just play around with for my own music. Most apps are super easy to use and have little tours to get you used to the app. THIS APP IS AWFUL. When I first got in the app, I was trying to figure out where to go to start making the song. Literally took me ten minutes to just get into their studio thingee. When I got in, it asked me like a bajillion stupid questions, that made me ponder if the developers have a brain. Example: “Do you like music?” HMMMMMMMMM LET ME THINK ABOUT THAT ONE FOR A SECOND. So after all of the question and crap I finally got to the music making part. No tour. No instructions. No nothing. I had been trying to figure out how to delete a track for like 30 minutes and I finally gave up and just deleted my whole entire song. All I had was the beat, because that’s literally the only thing I could figure out how to do. I tried seeing if I could actually plug my mic into a software and then import it into the track. Nope. Not even there. I searched and searched for like 30 minutes and couldn’t find any part of the singing. I couldn’t even get any like rytham or guitar or anything. All I had was some sound affects and that was it. I tried downloading a digital guitar, and when I tried to import that into the song, it just showed up as a blank track. I tried to see if it was my settings, but everything looked good and so I have no idea what’s going on. I could go on and on, but I’m deciding that I don’t want to hurt the developers feelings if they somehow actually read this and reply. Overall I give BandLab a solid like -7.
Ive been using bandlab ios for about 4.5 years and that whole time its been an amazing tool for creativity expressing myself and teaching myself how to make music. and the best part was, it was free! and had no intrusive ads. but recently…. theyve updated the app, its now full of pop up ads, banner ads and everytime you close the ad out they ask you to become a member. i understand that the company needs to make money to stay a company, however! annoying POP UP ADS arent the answer! the banner ads are fine but if you really feel like you need more capital to expand, either grandfather in the veteran users and give them less ads OR, create some new features that sit behind the membership paywall. so more ambitious producers can buy the membership and the new users dont feel like bandlab is another garbage mobile DAW that just wants your money because we know you arent! you’re an amazing tool that many artists have started learning to make music on to start their creative journey. we know you’re better than annoying pop ups! you know you’re better than that! cmon bandlab!
This app was SO GOOD when I first started out using it. I was making track after track bettering myself and my bars. I had a WHOLE album set and ready to drop on another account. BUT THEN, the ads just ruined it. You can’t even go in the studio anymore after saving a track, the “ x “ button doesn’t work and it just constantly spams you with ads. Was 5 stars and now I say it’s 1. IF ANYONE NEW IS PLANNING ON MAKING MUSIC & STARTING A CAREER FROM IT. TRUST ME, JUST BUY ABLETON LIVE OR LOGIC PRO. IT’LL BE SO MUCH MORE WORTH IT. -?
First it wouldn’t send me notifications then it wouldn’t save my projects and now it won’t even let me log in and says error 502 every time. Fix the damm app
I loved this app, and totally understand why people need to have ads to make money but there’s an ad literally every five seconds. You can pause a song and the next time you click play the loudest possible ad plays. Like regular non video ads were annoying but now they’re loud annoying videos. It completely disrupts your work flow. Honestly considering purchasing Ableton or even switching to Logic :(
Bandlab has been one of my favourite apps for a long time but their recent updates have made it pretty much impossible to do anything ! I'm totally ok with ads in apps, the developers deserve to make money and be able to keep the app free but putting adds in the studio disrupts EVERYTHING. You can't write, you can't record, you can't mix or edit. They removed everything you could do with this app by giving you an ad every 4 seconds :) Don't put ads in the studio, ruined everything.
I’ve been using this app since the start of COVID to make music as a hobby and with their recent updates all my past projects that were saved to my account have been scrambled and have had the audio files sounding scratchy and unclear which has ruined countless hours I’ve spent in the past modifying the sound of vocals, this mixed with all the trash ads placed everywhere have left a sour taste that has sadly caused me to decide that I won’t be using this app in the future
I just wanted to record and make some music but this is how to ruin everything
It won’t let me sign in no matter what birthday I put in
Don’t buy it! It has been 2 days and I still can’t figure out how to change the name of my song. I work so hard on something but I can’t publish it without a name! After you save the name of it, ITS STUCK!
C’est plate car je peux pas me connecter à chaque fois ça me dit vérifier votre connexion internet alors que je suis connecté sur internet
This app is not for signing be very careful. Lables never ask for money iTunes cards when signing if they ask for money it’s fraud
You can’t even use it
These pwoooosyholes really added ads and ruined the experience. Only reason this has a star is because it was required to post this. If not then it would’ve been no Milky Way.
It’s the worst thing ever. I just wanted to make a song at home, but it’s just the worst. I hate it. I do not recommend.
Trying to over sub new tracks on my songs with live musicians not this crabby do everything with the computer. This is real people. The lag is so bad you can’t even do nothing. It’s off time.
Hi there, I’ve been using a bandlab from a long time. Never had a problem before. But these past few days it’s giving me problems. Not syncing properly and not giving me the option to mastering my songs. And today I updated it, and now it puts me to automatically logout. Now I’m trying to login again and again but it won’t let me. Seems like some kind of error or glitch in this app. I have a so many recordings in this app. Please try to help me and fix this problem.
Let me be clear: I have loved producing with this app. I’m making music I’m proud of and having a lot of fun in the process! And if you’re just looking to have fun and explore, or just making music for yourself, you’ll probably like it just fine. However, lately more and more of their formerly free features have been locked behind a paywall. Worst of all? The Distribution process which they previously marketed with a loophole to release your music 100% free (I.e. capitalizing on the free trial and giving them 20% of any royalties you earn rather than maintaining Membership) has now been locked behind a paywall where they will remove your music from streaming if you don’t continue to pay them. This is an extremely disappointing — but, let’s be real, unsurprising — development. (Not to mention the amount of AI music ads they allow! As someone who is writing all my own music to the best of my ability, it’s honestly insulting to have those shoved in my face in the very place I am trying to create.) I understand companies need to make money in order to stay in business. I understand that sometimes changes must be made. But when those changes betray their userbase by taking away things they relied on…? All those positive qualities go right out the window.
The is used to be a free app but what the hell has happened, you literally have to pay for everything, ads are getting shoved in your face 24/7 and I have to pay 100 dollars in order to just have excess to the samples…? What the hell, save yourself the time and don’t download this app
Upset user can’t record beats
It is so messed up with the worst kind of internet advertising and endless attempts to get you to pay for what was free but done so badly, a shame, lots of wonderful musicians to be discovered here but it used to be so much better
There's an ad that says that your account is reported and then it asked you to scan your phone. BandLab should sever from that ad network .
Why in HELL AM I LOGED OUT EVERY TIME I TRY I AM TOLD “yOuR eMaIl Is LoGeD In AlReAdY”
It honestly sucks how amazing this app used to be now its just like all the other apps. Money hungry and slowly making everything janky unusable and overpriced I’m deeply disappointed on the route this app has went on
Was the best for making music now just beggin for money bro
What used to be one of the best beginner accessible music programs is now unusable as a free software. They recently paywalled samples that were usable previously. This app continuously removes basic features in an attempt to squeeze more money. And it’s not even good as a program enough to warrant the subscription. Genuinely so disappointing to see corporate greed ruin the tool that made me fall in love with music production.
I sign in a million times and it say retry don’t buy it it scams you
