Spot turns your phone into a live radar for the world around you. Track planes, trains, wildlife, earthquakes, wildfires, rocket launches, and more. Tap anything for live details, build your own collection, and keep your logbook forever on your device.

LIVE MAP
A real-time map centered on you. Follow aircraft, explore live data, and tap any target for detailed information. Aircraft move smoothly between updates, and with your free OpenSky key you can replay flight paths. Blur your location before sharing screenshots.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR MAP
Choose from four beautiful presets or build your own. Customize water, land, roads, buildings, parks, airports, and labels independently for light and dark mode.

RADAR SCOPE
A classic phosphor radar centered on you with adjustable range from 2–500 km. Uses the same live layers as the map and can connect directly to aircraft feeds from your device.

SKY
Explore tonight's sky with planets, the Moon, deep-sky objects, double stars, rise and set times, visibility, an interactive star chart, cloud forecasts, and golden and blue hour.

SIGNS
Discover detailed astrology with live planetary positions, retrogrades, asteroids, aspects, strength ratings, keywords, and an interactive timeline to explore any date.

SPOTDEX
Build your collection with numbered entries, completion progress, detailed stats, notes, repeat sightings, hidden discoveries, and celebratory first catches.

BADGES
Unlock 90+ achievements covering milestones, photography, spotting, flyovers, logbooks, and exploration, complete with animations and shareable cards.

ALERTS
Get notified when interesting things happen nearby, including aircraft, trains, rare planes, emergency squawks, earthquakes, storms, wildfires, and rocket launches.

LAYERS
Track planes, trains, buses, OCEARCH wildlife, earthquakes, severe weather, wildfires, rocket launches, flight restrictions, crime data (where available), emergency calls (supported US cities), and more.

FOG OF WORLD

Big update to the map, plus a few things people kept asking for.

MAP
• New Places layers: landmarks, film locations, music sites, roadside oddities,
and the infamous ones. Toggle what you want, they load as you pan.
• Live dispatch incidents on the map, with detail cards you can expand.
• Heatmaps with a colour legend and an area readout, so a busy patch actually
tells you how busy it is.
• Redrawn direction indicators and glyphs. Headings, tracks and trails read
clearly at every zoom.
• Coverage page rebuilt: pick a layer from the chip rail, the map fits itself
to that layer, and the region list is searchable with tap to zoom.

SPOTTING
• Track a flight by number. Boarding pass style entry with its own keypad,
no system keyboard fighting you for space.
• Helicopters are now identified as helicopters even when the feed stays quiet
about it, at any zoom. (Pro)
• AR sky finder is faster and steadier. Hold the phone up and labels stay
pinned where the aircraft actually is.

YOU
• Spotting streaks, with an activity grid of the last 20 weeks and the records
behind your habit badges. Only logged sightings count, flyovers do not.
• Fog of World stats: explorer rank, a constellation of the blocks you have
cleared, size comparisons, and country and city leaderboards.
• Change the app language from inside the app. No trip to Settings, no restart.

POLISH
• Onboarding rewritten. Shorter, clearer about what each permission is for.
• Settings, Privacy and the paywall all reworked to match the rest of the app.
• Widgets and Live Activities now say when they expire instead of quietly
going stale.
• Lots of small fixes to card layout, scrolling and light mode contrast.
