Very delicious and very handyI picked factor because they allowed me to view the menus before having to add my credit card. That was the major selling factor for me honestly. Why should I have to put in my credit card and join something whether or not I’m going to know I’m going to like the meals? so I decided to join because I am disabled, and these came recommended to me in order to control my blood sugar. Well, I have to say that the meals are fantastic, they are all made to prepare fresh, there is no food prep involved at all. Some would say that maybe they look like TV dinners, but they absolutely are not to be mistaken for those unhealthy fatty types of foods. These are very healthy and very tasty. I’ve learned that if I’m having problems with the taste of the meal, the overall lack of spiciness or other type of flavor I’ve just purchased some low-fat condiments and added those to the meals to spice them up a little bit. these are very healthy and they’re very affordable. They save me tons of money and Rosie food. I’m so happy I found factors 75. I don’t know what I would’ve done without them. Missing mealsI ordered my first box and when it was delivered 2 weeks later after much anticipation, 3 out of 8 meals I ordered were fully missing from the box. I was super disappointed that they couldn’t just send me the missing meals and all they could do was refund me. I feel like there should be some other actual food replacement option where if menu items aren’t available for whatever reason you can sub for something else that they do have. That’s not currently an option. I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars because the quality of food and seasoning is pretty good from the 1 meal I tried so far. Just wish I had enough of them for the week and a third of my order wasn’t missing and unable to be replaced. I ended up canceling my subscription but later got an email with a notice about certain meals being unavailable and a $5 credit due to the missing meals. That is nice I guess though still not the ideal resolution. I don’t know why they don’t just offer other meals as replacements instead of just leaving customers without meals. If the rest of what I did get tastes incredible I’d consider giving them one more shot, but the missing food is not good for meal planning and makes me feel they aren’t reliable enough for that. Why did we wait?! Postpartum savior!We were struggling with healthy meals (or any meal that wasn’t from a drive through) after having baby no. 3 with two other kiddos at home, one being 1.5! We. Were. Exhausted. No, we don’t have a “village” to stuff our freezer full of casseroles. My husband suggest a “meal subscription” (we’d done h***o f**sh in years past) but we knew prep, cooking and cleanup were issues in our current situation. We found Factor and were skeptical at first, especially being a bit on the hire price range side. But, out of desperation we ordered our first box. I ordered 14 meals, a chocolate and vanilla smoothie trial pack and some juices. Not only do we NOT have to prep, cook and clean, but the food is (surprisingly) extremely tasty! We may prefer real pasta to zoodles, but it’s easy to swap some simple sides we’re less favorable to! We’re going on week 4, and so thankful Factor relieved a major DAILY stressor (and our arteries!) in an already stressful season for us. Helped me lose weightI started factor meals in February of 2022 to just see if they were any good. I wasn’t planning on losing weight and was actually disappointed in the meals due to how they looked and the cost. Then I tried one and was astonished how good it was. I thought it would have been like a TV dinner but it was really good food and strangely filling. I did their meals for two months until the discounts ran out. I lost 10 points with their meals filling in 5-7 of my lunches at work and dinners at home. My doctor also just noted I had high cholesterol so I was trying to make some lifestyle changes but wasn’t expecting to lose weight as it has always been a struggle. I would still order them but the cost is too high for my food budget. However it started my weight loss motivation and I am down another 7 pounds since I quit factor. The high protein meals are really good for full schedules. They are so much healthier than fast food meals for my lunches at work. I have consistent night meetings and hate cooking. October 13, 2022My first box from factor arrived two days ago and I eat my first meal last night. All I can say is wow.! I had this surgery “ Lipectomy Abdomen Infra umbilical panniculectomy ‘, and I bought a blender and my husband bought a few vegetables and I eat some of his meals and I knew that I was barely eating and when I did eat if you got a pizza or whatever and I thought I got to gold. Metal. No.. in order recover from the surgery you have to eat, healing foods. And I know I was barely eating where I was in the wrong things most of the time.. so I found factor with the most AMAZING ingredients that would heal my body. All I can say is wow. Again.. and congratulations factor you are going to rule this industry with this food. And you’re awesome customer service and your great. And to all of you out there, I highly recommend this. Even if you’re on a diet and you need lower calories if that’s your need.. the only thing I’m gonna do is I’m gonna call the company and ask if I can order asparagus. Very good.I highly recommend this if you order food line too much or rely on fast food. I live in a small apartment working between two jobs. Often times I have no energy to arrive a home and proceed to cook a meal, I just wanna sit down and relax and for the past year or so, I’ve been relying too much on food delivery, eating junk after junk making me gain weight and my health go down a cliff. When I bit an absolutely nasty looking burger from a popular and well known brand of burger, I knew it was enough. So I browsed the internet and found this app, at first I was skeptical, I didn’t expect much, but after placing my first order, of 14 meals, one for lunch and other for dinner and they arrived, I knew it was a very good choice. The meals are delicious, very much so and they’re healthy to boot, with a lot of choices that changes monthly. Factor is the BEST! Especially for KETO!I have tried several other meal services. I found the cheapest meal prep kit times to be a lie. I have worked as a line cook. Worse yet, sometimes excluded an ingredient. (Not often.) But potatoes and carrots are so cheap that it explains why the cost is so low. I tried Cook Unity as a heat and eat meal and their flavors just fell disappointingly flat. Their portions were a tad bit larger but who wants to pay for lack luster meals?! Some people may think the carb count of Factor meals aren’t as low carb as they would like. Honestly, I was one of those. BUT, I would rather have one absolutely delicious gourmet meal a day and eat bone broth, salads and all the no carb things we’re supposed to do to make this work with my macros. It’s worth it! My buff gym rat husband is so into eating healthy, especially salmon, it’s reduced our grocery bill substantially! He also eats other healthy foods that suit his regimen and lifestyle. Love Factor!There are so many reasons to sing Factor’s praises, but I’ll keep it succinct. Factor saves me *so much* time between driving into town (and the gas expense), shopping, prepping, cooking, and washing dishes that it effectively pays for itself. Time is money and Factor saves me a ton of time so it’s definitely worth the money, to me. I also love it because of the variety of dishes they have available to select from. It is super easy to change weekly deliveries or add additional meals or add-ons. The food is actually pretty decent, but especially for mass produced food. The food is so well vacuum-sealed that every meal they send can last 7-8 days in the refrigerator, probably longer if it’s not seafood…who knows? But, that is besides the point because you’ll come to a point rather quickly about how many meals you need to order based on your habits. First Food Subscription PurchaseAs a full time working wife, I have been wanting to try a food subscription box to help me save precious time after a long day of work. We live a Ketogenic lifestyle and I’ve seen ads and heard really good reviews on Factor. I am non comital so the flexibility of the subscription box made me feel comfortable. Was impressed with the menu options and actually had hard time deciding as I only wanted 6. Received my first box today and tried our first meal Red Wine Coke Ground Beef with garlic butter green beans. Wow. Both my husband and I were thoroughly impressed with quality and flavor of food. Great food, just a few things to help improve!Overall this is quick and easy. It saves me a lot of time and the food is really good(I’d give food five stars, but I’ve had a few hiccups for how much money I’m spending). Only heads up or suggestion I have is careful when you select your meals because more than just your preference shows up on the list. For example I put my preference as “keto” and I assumed I would have all those options on my meal list. I did see all the keto options plus all the others, so when I made my first selection for meals for the week half of them I couldn’t eat because I noticed they were very high in carbs. I went to write an email about this problem, but there was no email listed for me to contact them. The only other thing I’d say, is the meals are very good but most are fairly high in salt, I know this probably helps them keep and with the flavor, but slightly lower salt would be preferred for myself personally. Excellent Quality $$ SaverI don’t know about all of you but I am very finicky when it comes to food. I wasn’t always like this but I had weight loss surgery and it changed the game when it comes to food and they way I eat. ImpressedI didn’t have very high expectations so I was super surprised by the flavor packed microwave meals! They were ready to eat in Minutes. Super easy no prep time or major clean up! We have subscribed to a weekly meal delivery service for two years and for a few dollars cheaper it took an hour before we could sit to eat. It is also a great service and helped me learn to cook and try new dishes as well as quality time in the kitchen when hubby and I would cook together but this has been a crazy few weeks and a lot of our meals have gone to waste because we had no time to cook it were to tired so these meals were the perfect solution at about what we would spend for fast food (we spent $30 for the two of us at Taco Bell just last night with no drinks! Shipping IssueThere was an issue with my first order which delayed shipping. On the day after it was to arrive I checked the tracking and it was still in Illinois. It had at this point been in shipping for over 24 hours and by the time it got to be would be over 48 hours. I called to ask if they would be sending a fresh box and was told my box would be “fine” because they pack it so it can stay cold for unexpected shipping issues. I said I’m sorry I don’t trust that it’s Summer where we have had multiple 94* or higher temp days and the box is still multiple states away…. I’m not eating that food when it gets here. They tried to argue and tell me it would be fine but I really question a business that would let customers eat food that has been in transit for over 48 hours in summer heat with ice packs only to keep it cool and safe. Really disappointed I was looking forward to this service. Factor makes my Keto dreams come true!Factor is making my Keto goals a success!! Before Factor I was eating the same few things over and over. The lack of satisfaction I was experiencing caused me to “cheat” more often. Truly delicious vegetables were outside of the scope of what I was managing to come up with before Factor. Now.. Healthy LivesaverI was hesitant to get pulled into the Factor scene because I didn’t want to be scammed and receive low quality food for an unparalleled cost. I work 10 and 12 hour shifts in a high intensity environment and my days off, I often travel to visit family and friends or just stay in and relax. In either circumstance, I value balanced nutrition, and I struggle to get in enough protein. Two meal boxes in to Factor and I am so insanely thankful I took the risk. When I get my Factor boxes, I throw them directly into the freezer. Then, I pull them out when I need a random meal or two within my week. Picky Husband Loving Factor MealsMy husband has never been the type of person who lives to eat. He eats almost nothing all day while at work and has very few dinner meals that are his favorites. Ever since we started ordering Factor meals, he has started eating a much wider variety of food. There has not been any meal he didn’t like and because the dish is on the smaller size, they are perfect for him. He eats every part of the meal, even whatever is on the side despite not usually liking that side. The variety each week is perfect for us and it ends up being worth the cost since there is virtually no waste. I originally ordered our first factor box just to try them out but now we are on our sixth or seventh box and will continue to order indefinitely. Food is great with distribution problemsSo I will start with the good. The food is really good and the ease of making a great dinner is perfect. Two minutes and you have a well balanced delicious meal. Now for the down side. After being offered a special deal, I ordered. Two of the meals were free. Long story short, my delivery was missing two meals. And of those that did arrive two of the meals were wrong. I called. They did apologize and say they were short that week. I received an ok credit even though I would have just preferred they get it correct. They assured me it wouldn’t happen again the next week. Well the next week it did. They shorted me two meals again. I was disappointed. Of course I called. This time the credit they offered was much smaller and I had to argue to get them process a refund instead of a credit towards future meals. So they offer a great deal but don’t follow through. I love them!!!!Life changing fresh, delicious, no hot sauce needed, Great customer service, and i love that they offer vegan options!!! Vegan protein shakes and juices!!! Also this is a great way to stay in a calorie deficit. Kept me full , I work a 9-5 and today I ate nothing and I got home and was so excited to eat the vegan chili and I actually got full after not eating all day it was just so flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice! Chef and Restaurant Quality Food!I am a foodie so my expectations are super high and I can not believe how delicious each and every meal is, even the breakfast! Not too happy.Had no idea that all this was auto pay. And direct selection by factor. The meals that were chosen I do not like it was explicit when I first signed up. I’ve never eaten tofu in my life I’m 65 years old. I’m a meat and potatoes guy and there’s not one entrée on here that resembles that. Right now I’m not happy with this at all. my first daughter came on Saturday and it seemed OK at the time. They were quite a few dinners because of the 50% off that I got. But then my credit card was billed again today two days later. I don’t have the room to put those new dinners so I’m gonna have to refuse them. Not to mention the fact that I don’t like those either, so why don’t you just cancel my subscription it’ll be easier that way. A mostly satisfied customerOverall I think Factor does a great job with preparing tasty meals tailored for a variety of palates and diets. However, don’t just go with the preselected options each week, I find myself much more satisfied when customizing each week’s deliveries. I typically order from both the Keto and Vegetarian menus (I know, odd contradiction but it works for me). My favorites are their Mexican and Indian meals. I’m much less impressed with the Italian pasta dishes, so I now just avoid those. I can boil macaroni at home, don’t need to overpay for that, especially when it’s just average at best. But hey, everyone is different and cavatappi with marinara may be your favorite, so don’t let me dissuade you. I love the convenience, dinner is literally ready in two minutes. Good but needs improvementI used to use Freshly for 2-3 years then moved to Factor. Factor has some very good meals but I have many issues with the app. First, the dietary restrictions/preferences are limited, for example, you don’t have the option to chose Kosher food or exclude food containing certain ingredient from the search. Second, the app automatically chooses random meals which is annoying. At least, the app should pick meals you have chosen before not random stuff. Third, I like that they change their meals every week but this is also bad because some weeks I barely find meals I like because of my dietary restrictions. Most meals contain sone form of alcohol and I am allergic to it. This automatically excludes 90% of the meals. Allowing users to make special requests would be a good thing to add. Finally, add the list of all ingredients similar to the website; the app only tells you main ingredients without breaking down each ingredient..UaEfAlCoN83-3rabokVersion: 1.122.0

Good-but pricing scale needs adjustment!A lot of coworkers & I use Factor. I like its convenience as both someone who works full time & is in school & cares for their health, as I don’t have a lot of time to meal prep and if I don’t, I won’t eat. I also like the options to switch it up so you don’t get the same thing every week, though I feel the choices in the vegan/vegetarian category can & should be expanded. My only real complaint would be the cost breakdown. I understand the (sort of high) pricing of 62 & change for 4 meals a week, when you take into account fresh ingredients, paying the employees, etc. But then on top of that to charge $11 for shipping….brings my grand total to about $18/meal for only 4 meals. This just isn’t affordable to someone in my position. Pleasantly surprisedI’ve tried most of the food delivery companies. The Blue Apron type ones didn’t work because it cost the same as takeout, and I still had to cook and clean! Plus it wasn’t single person friendly. Freshly was ok. It was better tasting than frozen tv dinner, but it still wouldn’t pass as restaurant food. The selection got stale quick and with only one or two new ones coming once in a blue moon. I put off Factor for so long and glad I tried it after receiving a good coupon in the mail. It tastes amazing and could pass as a restaurant meal. It’s healthy, yet tastes amazing. The packaging isn’t overdone. 2 minutes beat and eat. No cleanup. Time will tell If I like it long term. Saved the DayMy husband broke his leg. As our main family chef life looked grim until I found Factor. The meals are wonderful with large portions. My husband is much better, but we are going to keep using this service. Love how you can change the number of meals per week since we have a college student who visits during the holidays and between semesters. We find Factor to be a cheaper option than eating out or using DoorDash, plus you receive “real” food. The only suggestion I have is to add more meals to choose from or to allow participants to select from all meal choices each week. The meals are heavy on the side of chicken, but even before using this program we ate a great deal of chicken so this isn’t a great concern for us. DeliciousI love using Factor for meal delivery for multiple reasons. My number one reason is that I have Lupus and I need to try to minimize any sugar/carbohydrate intake because sugar is inflammatory. Secondly, the flavor profiles are a HUGE HIT EVERY TIME!! I also like that you can get a meal (with an upgrade charge) that is considered a more fine dining choice. I can tell you with complete certainty, the steak dishes are ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! I’ve recently been usin the add on feature where you can get anything from extra meals (to include breakfast) but you can also choose to add one of their DELICIOUS DESSERTS. Improved my quality of life!First off I want to say that I am a quadriplegic pretty much 95% dependent on other people to help me with basic needs. Factor has 100% completely changed my life for the good. Before I was injured I loved to cook! Now it's unbearable to have to instruct other people how to cook my food. Almost amazingSurprisingly really tasty. Almost amazing because so many sauces are prepared with cream cheese. You can’t not taste the cream cheese. Great Food; Awful App with Lackluster FeaturesThe food is hands down really good and can accommodate different diets. However the app is frustrating to use. It’s not smooth moving around the app at all. If you hit the back button on a page it takes you back to the main screen and not the previous page. When your meals are ordered for the next week you can go view it on the main screen, it takes you to the orders history tab with a different layout. It’s sometimes difficult to edit your meals and save it. Also, my biggest gripe is that you cannot view meals you have rated. I just finished speaking with customer service where they confirmed there is no way to view this on the app or website. They were able to pull a list of meals showing as my favorites that they said is used for the auto meal references for upcoming weeks. However that list is inaccurate. It was missing meals I love or always order and almost everything on the list I did not like (short list). So when you rate meals….it’s all for nothing 🤷🏽‍♀️. I was told to look at my order history to see what I ordered in the past (at least 10 weeks worth of meals) and remember what I liked/disliked 🙄. Other meal boxes have this option for the customer to review at any time without contacting support. This helps with future orders. For the amount of money spent the app and website should be better. Horrible policies.I skipped the meal for October 24th. When I skip meals I do it once a month and I skip all of them. This week on Monday I got a notification that I have an upcoming order. I went to check and the meal for October 24th was already greyed out and didn’t allow me to skip it. I figured this was because I had skipped it last month so I moved on to skipping the rest. I’ve been having a really tight budget recently so this isn’t something I can currently afford. Today is Wednesday. I was charged $70 for the October 24th delivery. I called customer service and asked to cancel the order and get a refund. They said it was out of their hands at this point. I asked to speak to someone who can get me the refund bc I need that money for the next 2 weeks. They said it was an error on my end since I had not received the cancellation email. However I don’t know how that’s an error on my end since I don’t send the emails and it didn’t allow me to cancel the order on Monday. They told me that they’d give me a $30 credit. I told them that literally means nothing because I’m just going to delete my account after this. They said that’s all they could do. Loyal customerTo preface I have over 60 boxes from Factor. Using the service for over a year I feel like a relatively loyal customer. Additionally my wife and her friends have used a few of the codes they have sent me. 50% of their meals are decent. I have used a combination of keto and vegetarian meals throughout the years. The high protein content is great for dieters and fitness enthusiasts alike. The other half are somewhat repulsive. I have repeatedly asked them not to be defaulted into my box - however if you are late to choose the meals (which I often am - busy lifestyle hence why I use the service to begin with) these gross meals will show up at your doorstep the following week. I often give these meals away. Although that is mostly my fault - my main gripe with the company is the customer service. Their policy is what I like to call “could, but won’t help”. I deactivated my account slightly after the cutoff for the next meal order placement (6 days before delivery) and requested my box for the following week be cancelled. ($108 worth of food) the “Agent” said I “barely” cancelled and there was nothing he could do. Being that I used the service so long I expected a little more TLC - even if that just meant there was still nothing he could do… I have worked in customer service myself for years so I feel the need to share this side of things. Don’t Do It! Save your money!Don’t bother with factor… the customer service is absolutely horrible. The food is ok/good not great. I had multiple times where they sent me the wrong food/the food was old and most likely expired. After the “new customer deal” it comes out to about $15-$16ish per meal..that’s over $100 per week (7 meals). If you just buy the food and cook it yourself it would likely be half that price. I know I said the customer service was bad but I have to bring it up again because it was that bad. Please help people eat healthy meal!I am shocked by the saturated fat and cholesterol content of the meal I received. I tried mighty meal, redefine, cook unity, and other services. None of these services put cream cheese, butter, creams creams so liberally as to achieve the high saturated fat content as Factor. I would say the average Factor meal has about 2 times fat content of unity cook or mighty meal. Also, as I look through the menu, there simply is not enough healthy menu without this toxic chemicals that claimed people’s lives by early heart disease. Keto is an ancient way of losing weight. People who practiced Keto died of heart disease, as did the doctor who promoted it. Hire me as a nutritionist, and I will substitute all your cream cheese, cheese, sour cream with something healthier. Please fix this. There are many more healthy ingredients on earth such as legumes, tofu, fiber rich vegetables, fragrant fruits. They are not even more expensive. The public is not that dumb. Great food bad business practicesI’ve been a customer for a long time now. The food is ok and it is pretty cheap. Here is my problem. My credit card was stolen and as banks do they only give you a provisional amount back until the stolen charges are verified. I started on a Thursday (they run your card at 11:59 midnight on Wednesdays). I wrote them Thursday and Saturday and Monday with no response. I waited and received a provisional credit on Wednesday. On Thursday morning I look and they ran my card again for the following week. When I wrote them again on Thursday they magically respond and say that they are sorry that I’m leaving and that they cancelled the subscription. But as far as the money that they took out, it was too late nothing could be done about it. That was an incredibly calculated way to take my money. Wait until after it’s charged and then respond. Additionally you can’t cancel from the app and so you are forced to email them. So when you decide to quit make sure you respond at least two weeks in advance. They have now lost someone who orders weekly annually over $120 charge. Considering the cost it took to get me as a customer (advertising) it seems like bad business model to email people only after they take your money. Awesome product, terrible customer service.I’m about to begin my 9th week ordering these meals. I’ve enjoyed the service, you get high quality Whole Foods, they provide good and convenient nutrition. I opened my breakfast meal this morning and found that the packaging was damaged and the food wasn’t sealed. I thought to myself “no problem, I’ll have to cook an extra meal this week, but that’s ok, I should contact customer support to get this one meal refunded. The customer service button in app opens a webpage their generic website without my credentials. On the third try I found the right combination of account name and password, and opened the customer service. After navigating an automated self help tree they said they would put me in touch with a live agent and that “if you navigate away from this page or if your phone locks the conversation will end”. Well, I sat around trying to go about my business while tapping my phone screen once every 29 seconds so I don’t get disconnected and failed around the 10 min mark. customer service is purposely designed to discourage customers. I’d really appreciate being made whole, I can’t imagine it will happen. Great food but way too many problemsI stuck it out with Factor for quite a few boxes. I really really liked most of the meals I ordered. Their food is amazing and it’s very easy and convenient. I work a lot and I really don’t have a lot of free time and I don’t want to spend it cooking. Almost every box I’ve had has had an issue, either with payment, which I’ve checked with my bank multiple times, and it’s gone through fine the other 70% of the time with Factor. I never get notified by factor when there’s an issue with anything including payment, even though they say they do. And then my box gets skipped for the week with no way of sending another one. They’ve also packed my order with missing meals or missing add ons. Their third party delivery service has left the box at a neighboring house, been late, and not been able to deliver altogether before. It’s just really frustrating when I rely on this company for my food for the week and I have to make other plans or short notice. I’d love to keep the service because I love the food, but it’s really too much of a headache to be worthwhile. Not happy with itReasons I’m not happy: 1) I want meals heavy in protein (bc I eat a lot and get hungry super fast with meals that have little to no protein) but unfortunately, their “protein rich” meals also are their “keto” options. Terrible unreliable app!Charged for meals that was skipped regardless of however the app says skipped. Customer service a joke, says it was not skipped and I’m still waiting on supervisor to call on this issue within 24 hours now it’s 2 weeks! Lots of issues, definitely not worth itI stuck it out with factor for a few months. My main issue with them is that if the delivery driver failed to deliver the food (which happened multiple times) then you miss out that week and they put a credit on your account toward a future box, which is already inconvenient but there’s also a catch to how the credit is applied. You can’t use the credit toward any box which is discounted, so if you’re on your first half dozen boxes with the 20% off or whatever discount you have, it has to run out until you can use the credit. So I had to keep giving them money as if I didn’t already pay for boxes I never received. They try to do everything they can to rope you in for as long as possible. I just canceled the service and they didn’t even guarantee that I’m going to get the amount I have in credit refunded back to me. Convenient, but VERY unhealthyI feel so much better since I stopped getting deliveries from Factor. Not only is it VERY expensive for what you get (half a chicken breast, one piece of broccoli, small scoop of potatoes for $10), but the saturated fat is out of control! People doing keto might think that’s a good thing, but you need unsaturated fat, not saturated fat, unless your goal is to have a heart attack or stroke at a young age. At first I really enjoyed my Factor deliveries, but the excessive waste from the shipping materials, which aren’t all recyclable, started to bother me, plus the expense, and a lot of the meals are just ok. It does not allow the ability to designate which meals go to which family member. I have to start by reading the full description of each meal including ingredients before selecting. I’m glad that they include it but it is labor some. The value is pretty close to just getting a really fresh and delicious stuff on demand(if you’re not lazy picking up on the way from work. A better advice? Learn cooking. Cooking fast and good doesn’t take too much time, I do it often. You cook once for a few days. Breakfasts are easy to make. Save yourself some $$. Let’s do the math, 7 days a week, if you eat 2 times a day using the service, it would be 14 meals so 200$ 12 meals + 30$ for 2 = 230$ a week to eat 2 times a day(approx) I go and buy stuff in bulk and get whatever I want and never exceed 400$ a month. With this, it’s like 230*4=920$ a month to eat this questionable food twice a day. I’m not even talking about the delivery impact on the environment… forget that. All in all, cook yourself, get nice fruits, veggies, nuts, make some steaks, salmon, about 400-500$ a month for a person including breakfasts, snacks and what not VS 920$ for this “food” 2 times a day. Umm…. Say, you don’t have time, it’s still better to go out for food. I’m not talking about expensive restaurants or fast food. There are alternatives within this budget. “chef” made is generous..“chefs” created the recipes, in the way that subway sandwiches employs “artists” to make their sandwiches. i ordered factor for 13 weeks, some of the meals were edible enough to eat and i would say find pleasant, especially during a time where i didn’t have energy to cook. the flavours are so monotonous i had to take a break while eating my last meal from them to write this review. so many of the creamy sides were WAY too creamy, you get something that’s finally properly seasoned? overseasoned to the point of bitterness. garlic green beans? it would be green beans with over a tablespoon of canned chopped garlic. please. Live that nursing home life today!Factor is for people who want bland food that is calorie controlled. Literally every meal tastes the same. I’ve been ordering it for 4 weeks and have never seen a shrimp or prawn that is prominently featured your videos. Most of the salmon meals are sold out before you even get to see them. There’s a few interesting meals like the butter chicken, but it’s -1 on the spice scale. It’s like eating chicken with a buttery sauce that apologizes to you for being too spicy. Factor has so much opportunity to be a super useful and interesting meal service but they’ve gone the vanilla route and now it’s all a little awkward. People like calories. Do a jambalaya… and make it spicy. MISSING MEALS & FAILED DELIVERIESTried this for 6 weeks am in a major city so it’s not hard to find me They succeeded only 1 time out of 6 deliveries and even then I found it just dumped in the mailroom of our 30 apartment building, for anyone to find, instead of walking to the door of the individual who ordered it. At least that one had all the meals. The following week was short 2 meals due to “challenges in the kitchen” And after that they never managed to deliver on the arranged day and found it too difficult to ring my buzzer even though I was waiting at home for them all day. Horrendous customer support and 0 CareI'll start off by saying the food is really good, fresh and very delicious. Now comes the part which makes all of that not matter. I had my first delivery which was as expected, you have to pick your meals for the next delivery by a certain time no problem. I recieved a email at 4:00am stating that my payment didn't go through for the next delivery. Not sure why as the available credit was there, no issue I'll update it. They gave me until 10:00AM THE SAME MORNING to update my payment or else the entire week's worth of meals would be cancelled. I saw the email at 11 AM and tried to update the payment with no success in renewing my order. Spoke to customer service who is a completely 3rd party contracted support team who barely spoke english and told me since it passed the deadline there is NOTHING they can do and I won't get my meals for the week. After some convincing she said she will have a supervisor call me. NEVER HAPPENED. I dug further and spoke to Factor on Facebook who first advised they will escalate it to their team who is able to update orders after the deadline. Fantastic! Or so I thought.. at the end of the convo apparently that's only for future orders. At the end of the day, if you get an email at 4AM for a payment issue that is no fault of your own, you are expected to open it, investigate it, and have it resolved within 5 hours, which only about 2 of those are waking hours, otherwise you will have no meals for the whole week and you can go *beep* yourself. Never was I even offered a call back from a supervisor let alone a discount or an acception for being 30 minutes late on a 5 hour notice email sent at 4 IN THE MORNING! Honestly the food is great and I had really high hopes and the expectation to be with Factor for a very long time, but unfortunately based on the circumstances involving absolutely 0 customer care, I won't be trusting them with the food handling aspect anymore, if a supervisor can't call me and all I get is a 'have a nice day' and was deceived by an 'escalation team' which I doubt exists, what makes me think that they have any sort of care about all the food handling regulations that aren't witnessed by the consumer. Same selections every weekEvery week I’m noticing the selections are the same. And it sucks that you can’t order your favourite meals that aren’t on the list for the following weeks. These dishes seem like there all for people trying to lose weight. And not designed and made for athletes that want to gain more muscle weight. I’m not sure I’ll continue ordering from Factor as I’ve really been disappointed with the selection they had for the past few weeks, and for the oncoming weeks!
