Adjusts To Your NeedMost of the time I just need a simple metronome and this app achieves that. Sometimes I need to create a playlists of various metronomes and this app achieves that. No tech supportGood Metronome, but no tech-support available. When the metronome goes in the background, sometimes it just keeps playing for hours – which is the way I want it. Other times, it shuts off in the background. I’m trying to find out how I can keep it running in the background all the time without turning itself off. Simple and easy with room for improvementI have been using this app for a couple months to help keep me on tempo while playing drums at our church. I love the ability to create set lists and grow my song list. The only thing that I can see needing as my specialist grows it, the ability to alphabetize the song and set lists. if this were added, I can definitely see a five star rating in the near future..Version: 14.30
Best metronome app I’ve ever used!Many apps will give you a load of rhythms, but very few give the user so many options for what the beats sound like, including having a voice that counts the beats. I do wish it was possible to hide the pendulum; it drives we crazy when every 3/4 measure starts with the pendulum at opposite ends. Bigger beat dots would help, too..Version: 15.4

Great, full-featured appI was using a different metronome app, but needed one that would tell you the tempo based on tapping the screen. I found this one and have not been disappointed. This app does everything I could hope for, except one... It would be cool if there was an option to display the animated beat pattern of a conductor. I teach piano to some kids who will play in church meetings and they need to learn to follow the chorister. Even without my one wish, this is a great app!! Update October 2020. This is still my favorite metronome app! I mostly use it when teaching piano and it is priceless. I tell my students it’s like a treadmill for musicians, to help keep a steady pace and incrementally speed up as you improve. Great app!!.Version: 8.9
Highly Functional & Simple to Use Metronome AppQuality programming visual and sound. I clip my phone to my music stand when practicing my bass and the pendulum emulates a conductor’s baton. Also the sequencing tool is very helpful when working with changing tempos. I use this tool a lot. The tuner function does not work as well as I like for double bass but few electronic tuners do..Version: 14.10.1
Nice metronome/tuner for my iPhoneI play bass trombone and this metronome/tuner app for my cell phone is the bomb!!!! You can spend a lot of money on these items…but i don’t have to carry them around in my case…I don’t need to buy batteries or have extra cables to plug into the wall. Plus I can bluetooth connect to external speaker systems. I am so glad I found this app!!!.Version: 10.3
Worth it!Excellent metronome for a beginner like me. Very intuitive to use and does everything that I need. There are probably many more advanced features that I don’t use right now but will likely come in handy as my playing skills advance. Simple and full featuresI love this app. I’m relearning the piano and it’s so much better than the old metronomes. A lovely feature is that metronome settings are labeled with their terms such as allegreto. I only knew approximately those terms. Best simple metronome/tunerThis is exactly what I was looking for, a basic metronome and tuner without all the fancy bells and whistles that all the other ones try to sell you on. Best metronome I’ve found!I teach band grades 5 through 10 and have tried several metronome apps. They all worked but many were clunky and non-intuitive. Users ManualWhile mostly user friendly the lack of a user’s manual or guide is troubling. For instance how do I toggle between sounding a pitch and having the app tell me whether I am in tune or not. Is it possible to record a short passage of pitches and then be able to play along to help with intonation?.Version: 15.4
Ok, but not greatI use a metronome a lot during practice. This one requires me to turn my speakers way up to hear it. I don’t think I would be able to hear it if I only used my iPhone speaker. It would be nice if metronome sounds could be auditioned without having to switch back and forth between setup mode and the main interface. Get itIt’s a perfect application. In short, it’s a metronome with a few important options but not too many which can be overwhelming. It does exactly what it says it does, and it does it very well. Pretty good!This is an incredibly useful app to me as I prep for studio recording, or simply want to tighten my rhythmic sensibility. The only critique is that I used to have a metronome app that I could program accents throughout the entire cycle of the rhythm.
