No tech supportGood Metronome, but no tech-support available. When the metronome goes in the background, sometimes it just keeps playing for hours – which is the way I want it. Other times, it shuts off in the background. I’m trying to find out how I can keep it running in the background all the time without turning itself off. Simple and easy with room for improvementI have been using this app for a couple months to help keep me on tempo while playing drums at our church. I love the ability to create set lists and grow my song list. The only thing that I can see needing as my specialist grows it, the ability to alphabetize the song and set lists. if this were added, I can definitely see a five star rating in the near future..Version: 14.30
Highly Functional & Simple to Use Metronome AppQuality programming visual and sound. I clip my phone to my music stand when practicing my bass and the pendulum emulates a conductor’s baton. Also the sequencing tool is very helpful when working with changing tempos. I use this tool a lot. The tuner function does not work as well as I like for double bass but few electronic tuners do..Version: 14.10.1
Great, full-featured appI was using a different metronome app, but needed one that would tell you the tempo based on tapping the screen. I found this one and have not been disappointed. This app does everything I could hope for, except one... It would be cool if there was an option to display the animated beat pattern of a conductor. I teach piano to some kids who will play in church meetings and they need to learn to follow the chorister. Even without my one wish, this is a great app!! Update October 2020. This is still my favorite metronome app! I mostly use it when teaching piano and it is priceless. I tell my students it’s like a treadmill for musicians, to help keep a steady pace and incrementally speed up as you improve. Great app!!.Version: 8.9
Nice metronome/tuner for my iPhoneI play bass trombone and this metronome/tuner app for my cell phone is the bomb!!!! You can spend a lot of money on these items…but i don’t have to carry them around in my case…I don’t need to buy batteries or have extra cables to plug into the wall. Plus I can bluetooth connect to external speaker systems. I am so glad I found this app!!!.Version: 10.3
Simple and full featuresI love this app. I’m relearning the piano and it’s so much better than the old metronomes. A lovely feature is that metronome settings are labeled with their terms such as allegreto. I only knew approximately those terms. Also you can set a seasonal color...and I had a question and got a quick answer..Version: 9.4
Best simple metronome/tunerThis is exactly what I was looking for, a basic metronome and tuner without all the fancy bells and whistles that all the other ones try to sell you on. Best metronome I’ve found!I teach band grades 5 through 10 and have tried several metronome apps. They all worked but many were clunky and non-intuitive. Get itIt’s a perfect application. In short, it’s a metronome with a few important options but not too many which can be overwhelming. It does exactly what it says it does, and it does it very well. Pretty good!This is an incredibly useful app to me as I prep for studio recording, or simply want to tighten my rhythmic sensibility. The only critique is that I used to have a metronome app that I could program accents throughout the entire cycle of the rhythm. My new favorite appWith COVID 19 lockdown, I found my timing on guitar was starting to get sloppy. This simple but really well thought out app has improved my timing and groove tremendously.
