5 Star Review, 100% HonestI give this app a five star review because there is so much you can do with it to make your own customized video yet it is soo easy! You can add text, images, little illustrations, and add curves, make them bigger or smaller. You can also put in transitions and music! The only thing that I think that you can do but do not know how to do is share the video or save to your pictures. Can someone please comment how to do so? Also I love how this app is free! If you want more and more pro-used transitions and stuff, you can become a member for really cheap! I love how you can just customize your own video, add sounds, add pictures to make your own custom video for FREE and it is so EASY!!! I honestly think that this app is great and I recommend this app to everyone that needs to customize or betterize,( even though that isn’t a word) their own videos! Even if you don’t need to, it is really fun to just play around with all it has to offer! If you think this is too much for you to handle or you think that you won’t be able to figure it out, then you can watch a tutorial that comes with the app! PerfectThe app does everything I need it to do, plus more. If you do not buy a subscription, some features are limited, as well as having their watermark on your projects. Even in the free version, I was able to accomplish my edits & manipulate sounds where desired. What makes this app more of a wonderful experience is having the communication with the developer when questions arise. I've had great responses in a timely manner. I didn't have to step away from my project long before help arrived in my email box. I recently purchased the yearly subscription for $39, which equates to about $3 a month. A monthly subscription is $5.99, yearly is a better deal. They also have a one time cost for much more money, but I'd rather have more experience with this app before I make such a commitment. The app is worth the price so far!! If there are any cons, it would have to be the viewing while editing. You are able to choose the format of your project 4:5, 16:9... etc. In the smaller frames, it is hard to see your edits - while editing. You have to choose the wide screen toggle to review your edit in bigger screen once edit is complete. I LOVE THIS APP 💕Ok so I absolutely love this app!!! It’s been amazing for me and I haven’t come across any problems yet! It took me a little bit to figure out everything and the little things that pop up when you press the plus to make a new film or whatever your doing is really helpful because it reminds me what I have to do! I use this to make my gacha vids and I love it so far 😍!!! Another thing I love is that it lets me put in music from my playlist! This is really helpful for me because some apps have music that you have to pick from If u want music instead of letting you access your playlist but then they don’t always have the song your looking for so it’s not very helpful. It also has sounds and there own music that you can add if you don’t want any of the songs in your playlist! It has been such a great app and I am so excited I could find an app that actually works for me that doesn’t delete all my work so it’s been the best app I’ve had yet! Great App**To update. There’s a major problem with the time synchronization of the chroma key feature. I’ve created, multiple times, a backing video to use with a chroma key video. Both videos have been time aligned to the same audio track. Yet when combining the videos through chroma key the timing is up to 10 seconds off in spots. But not consistently. I’m looking for a different app now as I can’t find a solution through this one. So I love this app! I used to to edit an entire music video on my iPhone SE and it came out great. The features are powerful and it’s very intuitive. There’s only two real problems that I’ve been experiencing. First, I wish I could lock clips into place on the timeline. It would make it much easier to A/B different clips and B-roll during editing, instead of how it’s currently set where the next clip plays directly after. So if I delete a five second clip, instead of five seconds of white space my entire video from that point on is 5seconds out of time. Lastly, and it may be a user issue, but I cannot get the phone to upload this video anywhere in anything higher than 360p. Does it export in 360?.Start-Up GuyVersion: 6.2

A LOT to be left desiredHey, I have been using this software for over a year now! And sure, it’s great and easy to learn, however, it LACKS very important feature that most editing softwares at, for one, there is no key frame adjustment on raw footage, instead you have the Ken burn’s animation which is slow and not very customizable, and I can only keep text for .5 seconds, making it difficult for fast paced editing, and when you use some complex features, the app crashes entirely!!! And finally, let’s say I have a picture and I want to use the zoom transition to put it into frame, oh never mind, BECAUSE I CANT CUSTOMIZE THE SPEED OF THE ANIMATION! And more importantly, I can only use one transition for something (texts pictures etc.) so if I want to fade a picture into my video, I can only fade it back out instead of popping it out of frame. And I hate how this app is focusing on all this ai stuff! NO ONE WANTS THAT! Your an editing software, not a picture and filter editor, however it did get me through some tough times with it cheap price, I should be rating it lower, but it is very accessible to new editions. You’re almost there but not quite andI’m about to delete this app cause that’s how frustrating it is. The way you have to click on it and the selecting has made it for a lot of trial and errors especially since there no undo. I’ve had to start all over again, too many times because I didn’t know if what I was selecting to trim was to keep or discard. I figured since it’s trim I would the select the piece of video I wanted to trim off and that would be deleted. Nope I was wrong but look there’s no undo and now I have to start from the beginning. BIG PROBLEM. LOTS OF TIME WASTED. The there’s not a way after you detract the audio to reattach it or maybe I am missing it. Another this is file naming, why can’t I change the file name or folder name or where it gets exported to. I don’t even know when it is and I have to go looking for it and I can’t find it easily cause I am not able to change the name to the file or folder to make it easily located. It’s been very frustrating. A couple of bugs and trim problemSo, when I started using this app, I decided to make a 1 minute long video. It went out pretty well, I tested out the trim on that and it worked fine. (Before I knew that it would put the text out of place) So I decided to use it on my 8 minute long video and guess what. It trimmed it but... the text just wasn’t, in the right place. I figured it would keep the text where it was but nope. I thought that I could save it but I put a lot of text in the video. So I just gave up and remade the whole video. I got so frustrated, and once I nearly finished the second video, I accidentally clicked on the illustrations button AND text button at the same time. It ended up making the whole app crash for some weird reason. I just thought it was the normal crashes I usually had while making the video, but that wasn’t the case. Once I reopened my video it crashed again. It just wouldn’t stop crashing. And then that’s when I got FURIOUS!!! HOURS OF WORK DONE IN RETURN FOR NOTHING!!! My 4 star reviewThis app is pretty good. I wish you didn’t have to buy permit because then I can make as many videos as I want but I mean that’s how you get money. I love all the editing you can do to. I got this app when I was browsing the App Store looking for a good video making app. I found this one and tried it by the time I found this one I had already found other ones but I was desperate for a good one. I got this one and I use it so much. One of my favorite things about it is you can make a video then put it in so it’s not just one big video then you can delete the videos you used to make that video but still watch the video. Mostly good, but buggy.Obviously I knew that there would be some risk with buying an expensive video editor on my IPad, especially when I haven’t really looked into different ones very much, but I know that this software, despite sometimes crashing, does have a lot of helpful features, if you need text on screen, picture in picture, sound effects and music, and a really buggy but otherwise enjoyable chroma key (green screen) effect which is a bit hard and sometimes impossible to pull off, especially with gradients. Now, the main point; it’s got one glaring issue that weighs my opinion of it down. When I add too many things or even one thing in, especially chroma keys, the whole thing crashes. **Disclaimer: This does not always happen, so it’s not too bad, but it does happen occasionally and is very annoying.** I don’t know why it does this, especially when I have plenty of space on my device and a good internet connection (although that shouldn’t be required). My suggestion would be to try to fix this (duh), but seriously, this is important to prioritize because of how badly it affects the product. Also, for free users, it would be helpful if you could display where the watermark appears, or maybe let them move it a little to make it more convenient. Used for grandmother’s 90th birthday!!This was magnificent. I purchased the one month Pro version for the wonderful added benefits (layers of music, writing, photo-on-photo,etc) so I didn’t miss any details for this special gift. Through using it, I only found one thing that made the process of making the video, tedious. If I wanted to edit a photo/video (like changing the display time) it would automatically zoom the picture in. So just make sure you get all your pictures set first, next put them in the order you want, then add your text (and PIN IT TO THE CLIP!), finally you add your music and playback to check timing and flow. I loved using this app!!! It allowed me to make a 30 minute movie, showering my grandmother with birthday wishes all over the country and brought back memories for her. I later took snippets from the party and made a thank you video to send to everyone in it!!.Long_x_FriendVersion: 7.2

Good but...This is a really nice software and easy to use. It has helped me a lot with past things and is really helping with present and probably future things. There are a few downsides though. When you put a picture, but then want to trim the time of how long it stays, it will shorten, but you can’t make it longer if you made a mistake. Another thing is you can’t have a clip less than .5 seconds. The app keeps randomly exiting me off it and it keeps losing my most recent progress. It takes a long time to load and a REALLY REALLY REALLY long time to download it and make it a video rather than watching it with the rest of the scenes under it. A horrible spoiler for my family when I show them my mini films. It keeps exiting me off of my movie and this upsets me because I spend so long on it, and it’s not even that long. It’s about 8-10 minutes long, so I’m deleting a bunch of things that I shouldn't have to, and it STILL keeps exiting me off! I wanted to take a stop-motion of my legos and it took way too long for the picture to go to the next one! If you want to do stop-motion than this app is not for you! Uhhh... not really a big deal but it’s kinda unnecessaryThe app is great! I’m honestly really impressed I didn’t think it was gonna be that good. I love the features which gives you plenty of option, however... I just think it’s ridiculous how we have to pay to export or download the videos, like what??? I never heard of something so dumb. Like, ok, I get it, it’s only $4.99 but still, I think you could just make that free. Great app!I use this app to make gacha videos. With what I use, it works really well. I can easily load my iTunes music onto my video and I can change the time pretty easily too. I only have a couple have issues with it. The loading time takes forever! If you have a lot of pics like I do most of the time, it could take a good 5 minutes or so. I don’t like how the lowest time limit is 0.5 when it could be a little lower than that. Half a second may seem quick but when you TRY and work on even the tiny details, you might need a quick flash of a pic. Another thing is how big the watermark is. I understand that the watermark is there for a reason and that I can simply remove it with pro, but I’m a broke teenager who needs to save for a car. The watermark takes up a good portion of the corner too. It would be slightly better is it were clear. Luckily the watermark is in the unused corner. No text will be there. Best I’ve Found, Still Hoping for MoreI’m on my 2nd year now of paying for this subscription. I found this app because I was annoyed with some of iMovie’s limitations, but wanted a good editing app for my phone. This has overall been an amazing app, but I am very frustrated with a few things: 1. There’s no option to duplicate illustrations, drawings, and other things in that category. 2. There’s no option to zoom in for edits. I’m trying to edit about 100 screen recording videos on my phone, but it won’t let me zoom in or flip to a portrait viewing even though I have selected that I want to make a portrait video so I am working with about 1”x2” of screen space. 3. When I want to edit text and drawings, it won’t let me type in a number for the size that I want the text or drawing. I have to press the down and up arrows for a minute until it gets to the size I want, and then with the illustrations it won’t let me make anything smaller than 20%. 4. At the moment I’m trying to edit something in the uppermost portion of the screen, but the video time stamp is hovering over the spot I want to edit. All of these problems I’m sure would be much easier to work with on an iPad, but I don’t have an iPad and I don’t see why these things would be difficult to change or add more options in settings. Great Editing App! Love This App!I use this app for everything and it is soooooooo amazing! It has so many amaizng features and it's so much fun because I get to show off these amazing videos and say I made them. I have won several school video projects with this app and it has impressed many of my friends and teachers. The only issue I've had is one time, just once, it deleted my work. Every time I clicked onto the app, it wouldn't let me go into it and immidiately kicked me out. I had to redo the project, but it was fine. It never does that anymore, but when it did, I had to delete the app, and reinstall it. The only other thing. You have to pay for premium, and if you don't, your videos can only be one minute long. Best to useless in 1 updateI’ve had an annual subscription since 2018. Without question the best video editing app available. And then the recent update made it almost unusable. So disappointing. Previously I could import a 2+ minute clip and split/trim down to very precise moments. With the new trim/split feature where the original clip is never actually trimmed, it’s reduced the room for precision given the slightest finger movement jumps seconds rather then milliseconds. What would have taken 15 minutes to edit a video today took me an hour just to trim and split it. Please change this back or give an option to “finalize” a trim so the clip is shorter allowing more accuracy within the swipe when doing additional trimming. If not, I’ll be canceling my $40 subscription before it renews next month as it’s so user unfriendly now..DeePriveeVersion: 10.1.4

Great!… …until it updatedWas extremely happy with this app until it updated and I lost the ability to edit my videos with my phone in the horizontal position. It now STAYS in the upright vertical position at all times with no option to flip to horizontal! So much wasted space on the screen with a smaller viewing screen than desired. Now hard to work with for this reason. I prefer to do my editing on my phone remotely no matter where I am, but I now am not comfortable finalizing and publishing all my videos without seeing them larger beforehand. For me, it went from a great app, to one that could be great, but just infuriates me now when I try to use it. Would totally be a five star app if this issue was resolved! Great App HoweverI really like this app. It has multiple fonts. Allows you to import additional font and music. Good duration abilities. I do pay for the subscription as this is the best app I’ve found for my usage. However, be prepared for it to lag and crash. I have to force closes the app every so often. Also, you do have to export your project and open it as a new one if you’re going to do a lot of layering with videos and pictures. It hasn't been bad enough for me to consider finding a different app. But sometimes…. Thankfully the one saving grace is it does autosave.. unless it crashes as your messing with a new component. I’ve never lost more than 30 seconds thank goodness. I do love and hate how long exportation takes. Awesome App!!Recently SPLICE did a major upgrade which they made some major changes to their software with many restrictions. I downloaded and started using this app before the de buckle over their at the world famous GoPro studios..Yawn! So I was using both app very frequently. I like the options this app has. It’s much better than SPLICE. I use Final Cut Pro for video art projects. It’s nice to be able to use an app like this on my new iPhone XS Max and with 512 gigs I’ve got tons of storage. Life without a video edit app in your pocket is just plain and boring. I hope if this company decides to do a major update they send out a memo to people like me who use this app every day and really enjoy it. In app purchase does not work!I have had this app for a year or so and loved it. I became dependent on its capabilities and used it for my business. Now that I depend on it, it stopped working. I had already been paying for the service, when suddenly it required me to purchase again. I was thinking my credit card had changed or it’s been a year since I had purchased the app. I have spent two days trying to purchase it again ( I’m a IT professional), read everything about in app purchases, checked every setting, verified OS / App updates and contacted tech support who told me to turn off/on my device and everything will be fine. Great app! Slightly pricey.First off I want to say that this app was pretty great and had a lot of what I was looking for, however, there are a couple things to be weary of before downloading. Lots of the better features cost money, which is not unexpected. Although, I will say that the price for individual package purchases is somewhat high compared to the annual membership price. Again, it’s not overwhelmingly expensive, and is expected that the company would rather have you buy the membership. Needless to say, I’m sure the small issues with this app will continuously be improved through updates. 30 years videography experienceI have worked with a lot of desktop video editing equipment over the years. Some of the best software in the industry. I have been completely blown away with the capabilities, simplicity and quality of this product. I have dabbled with mobile device editing software but the capabilities were nowhere near the needs of some of my projects. Although I do not use this for professional works, I have used it for quick 30 second and 1 minute promos and they have been great! It is getting very close for me to use this professionally. I primarily use Filmmaker Pro for promos but I also use another program where some of their features are a little bit different and better for specific projects..Jpm6078Version: 6.2

Best Mobile App for Lyric VideosI love music and I love making lyric videos for fun, so I tried out a bunch of video maker apps and none of them worked out for me. Filmmaker Pro was a blessing when I came across it. It’s now my go-to for lyric videos. I accessed the free trial and I wasn’t disappointed, so I’ll definitely be subscribed to Pro. There are a few bugs/glitches, though? Sometimes the text won’t appear in the preview and when I’m exporting the video it will export half way and then kick me out of the app. Usually happens when I try to export with 1080 quality, but can happen with the other qualities too. I also get kicked out whenever I make an edit, it can be random, like me changing a text, or trimming a clip, or things like that, it’ll just crash. Amazing but voice recording feature and text feature could be improved!This app is absolutely amazing, the array of fonts is above par, the control over the videos appearance is amazing, and all the cool text effects are to die for! One issue I’ve noticed recently is that I am no longer able to pinch the text to make it smaller, the only way I’ve managed to shrink the text is by holding down on the arrow that’s assigned to the text’s size. Another issue that I have is whenever I record background audio, and I start over, it doesn’t show the proper preview of the video. For example, if I’ve already recorded 30 seconds of audio and then chose to start over, after retrying it’d still be on the mark where I stopped it, rather then going back to the beginning of the clip. Text bug? Great editing app!So I bought this app and I love it. I’ve made videos using it and it is great. I only use this app for music and very nice fonts. For what I use it for it works great. That’s why I give it a 5 star rating. I feel like if I used it for my whole project it would be harder to use. There is a lot of stuff I like about the app, and I highly recommend it. Something I’ve noticed, however, Is that the text repositions wrong. I can put a text and move it to the place I want (in the editing part where you can pick your fonts) then when I go to watch it it’s somewhere else. (Words have been cut off). Why is it free if you can’t save it?I spent a really long time, then I found this. When I was putting in videos, it kept the audio at the right space, it wasn’t confusing like some other apps, and I was able to do exactly what I needed to do. After a while, I finally finished. I was really excited, it worked perfectly, but when I went to save it, it would only save it if I paid for it. I don’t understand why it’s free if you can’t save all the work you did with it. Its due today and now I just spent a long time on this app when I could’ve gotten another one to do it and actually be able to export it. Hear me outOk. So a few weeks ago, I probably would have given it a 5 star. But first of all, importing the photos takes a whole HEKK of a lot of time. I end up having to import only 3 to 4 at a time, which, I say, takes forever to get everything imported. And that’s not all, pretty much EVERYTHING takes forever to get done, adding text, saving it, deleting a scene, making scenes shorter and longer, I just think “does it really need to take this long?” Finally, you can only save/upload up to three videos before you have to buy pro, which I think, is kind of a downfall for beginners, or for kids, who are just trying to have fun. Still a great product!I stopped messing with making videos for a while. when i slowly started getting back into it, i was trying out various apps, you know, to see what advances have been made either by the current apps or possibly new ones. of course no one app is perfect, including some unproven yet asking for a lot of money every year. but FP continues to be solid for me and does mostly what i need. it still doesn’t have an undo feature, although i’ve figured out a lengthy way around that. and the interface at the beginning where you choose the length of transitions is still unnecessary. Not what I want 😕I would say this app is only “ok” I will give you my reasons on why I did not enjoy this app. 1st it takes forever to change the size of the texts, like what if I wanted a small text to make it look like they are saying something, well I have to hold down the ⬇️ for so long to get to the number I want. 2nd why when I place a text down I can’t move it because when I was using this app I accidentally put the text in the wrong place I can’t move it how come developers? It has potentialHonestly I tried making a full on ur video on this and I had so much problems with it. For one every time I crop the video or something for some reason it also shortens the video too? And there’s a lot of audio issues I got while trying to edit and sometimes if I were to attempt to paste a single clip to make it sort of loop it doesn’t even transition the audio smoothly you can tell that there was a cut in the video which is annoying and I tried the same thing in another app and it did it perfectly. There’s also the fact if I split a clip most of the time you’ll be able to see a green line on the side in the split clip and most of the times it’ll just cut to black and audio would still play and the video would just be missing feo some reason which again is really annoying, The chroma key is pretty bad too I would press on the color I’m trying to chroma key out but it chroma keys everything but the color I tapped. I know these may sound like a me problem it might even annoy you too when you’re trying to make a video and I only got to make the intro bit of the video I didn’t even get to the rest before giving up because of how many issues I had. I paid the one-time $100 cost, yet every time I launch it I have to manually click “Already Paid” button to use the app. I have over 30 projects. Now, even though I paid $100, it will no longer launch and the “Already Paid” button that used to allow me to use the app no longer works because it thinks I’m unpaid and I have reached the 4 project maximum, thus no new projects can be created. I paid $100 - one of the most expensive apps in the App Store, for an app that won’t allow me to use it any longer. This is completely unacceptable. A serious let downI have been working with this app for two years now. It operation is sub par, glitchy, and frustrating. I dealt with it because the interface was user friendly. There would be hours before where it would crash, freeze, delete a video but it wasn’t worth getting worked up about. I have now spent 24 hours, excusing the time to sleep, trying to get this app to load so I could finish my work and get paid. “Restore” and “Contact Us” Doesn’t workI signed up for the $5.99 monthly Pro plan to test for my needs. After a week or so, I decided to cancel after the first month, so I changed my subscription. I tried producing more videos (they have great fonts, and transitions and some music options in the pro version) and no longer had access to the pro options though I was still within my paid month. When I clicked “restore” it restored the monthly subscription but not the pro access in the app. I uninstalled/ reinstalled and still not working. When I try to use a pro font, I get a pop-up that asks me to restore. When I click restore, I get a pop up saying it was successful. And then when I try to use the pro font, I get a pop-up that says restore. When I click the “contact us“ link to try to reach out to their support, it didn’t go anywhere. But when I click the link to leave a review just below it, I was offered the ability to leave a review. Normally I would just reach out to support before leaving a bad review but this may be the only way to contact them. I was SHOCKEDI worked for long, hard hours to put together a movie for me to enjoy with my family. When my movie was finally completed, I was thrilled and the time has come for me to upload the movie to my camera app. But there was a bit of a problem. In this app, apparently you have to pay for the PRO version and pay money in order to export into your photos. This was a huge shocker because I worked so hard to come to find there is no way to save the movie. The only way to save the movie is to press the expand screen button and screen record the movie into your camera app, but in the corner there’s this yellow arrow that won’t disappear that says, “Remove limit” so even if you do screen record to post it, your viewers will have their minds on why there’s a “Remove limit” icon on the upper left corner. Getting insulted from their support staff…. WowLet’s just start off with, I had to Email back and forth the Majed way too much because the app didn’t work. Inconsistent is an understatement. It took 15 attempts to export 1 min clips. Every clip was the same. It would just crash. They tell you that you don’t have enough RAM… that’s a lie! They tell you that your frame rates are wrong. Well, the clips in question were sped up or slowed down using a feature in their own app. It won’t export in 4K even though that’s what everything was recorded in. The best is the email I woke up to this morning from the company “ wrote: You’re the only user that seems to be having all of these issues! We’re starting to think that you’re trolling us……..WOW WOW WOW. Apple should refund the money that these thieves stole. No Jed it just doesn’t work! Constant crashing (NOT A RAM ISSUE as their claim). Takes too long to make the simplest change. Missing some useful features, like being able to clip a project to make smaller projects. After hours and hours (45 actual minutes of editing) the film won’t export! This app is comical at best. What a waste of 40 bucks. Please please please choose another editing app. The system won’t let you export clips larger than a few minutes. I had to break down a large video into multiple clips which took days then bring those clips to iMovie and put them together. IMovie exported the 35 minute movie in 3 minutes. This app won’t export a movie if you change the speed in the app. Support told me that their app can’t do that meanwhile it’s a feature in the app. This app is awful, so many better ones in the App Store like vixer or inshot. Those apps actually work and don’t freeze. This is the glitchiest app I’ve ever encountered on my life. What happened????This used to be such an amazing app! Almost everything was free and it was very accessible. Too many bugs, missing features, and all around agrevationsLet me first say, I sent an email to the “contact” email about some of these issues this morning and not received even an automated response so I am not just putting this out here without trying to find help with the issues. I purchased this app with great excitement because of the fonts but unfortunately I am finding out it is not worth the price. For starters there is no “undo” feature which makes splitting (which by the way does not work) and cutting a video in the correct place impossible. If you do cut it and it is wrong, your only option is to reload the video and try again. I finally gave up and decided to do the video editing in my old program and then import it into this one. Makes sense since I like the fonts, right? Wrong. Half the time you have to tap the screen five times to be able to select the word if you are wanting to move it then when you do manage to select it, if you are wanting to use another word on the slide as a reference for where to place it, you cannot see the other word. This results in you having to guess, check, guess, again, check, guess again, etc. This is ridiculous. Next issue, sometimes, for no known reason, the words decide to darken the screen when they come in, the only way to correct this issue is to adjust the opacity, which in turn makes the word...INVISIBLE. DisappointedThe app was great. I was editing my video with pictures and adding words. It took me a while and I was proud of it. Then, I added some music to it. Just as I was about to watch it, to make sure it was how I wanted it, it said that I wouldn’t be able to share it unless I paid money and got PRO. No no no no…You’re a known company (I’d expect from the amount of downloads the app gets) but yet you put this update out? You removed the landscape editing for what? So a vertical way of editing can replace it? Ok that’s fine but the fact that I can’t go back to landscape editing is a whole downgrade. When you update a feature you DON’T remove one that’s already working. No more landscape editing, and it’s not even an option, now you’re forced to edit only vertically. Do not recommend for anything halfway seriousI have been working on a project for a month or so, have about 8 minutes of footage for this project and all of a sudden the text boxes on the timeline disappeared. So after I needed to move around scenes, the text boxes can’t be moved so they bleed over other scenes and there’s nothing I can do about it. I am going to have to start all over and it’s a MAJOR WASTE OF TIME. I’ve spent countless hours editing this crap. Also, even with a BRAND NEW IPAD, adding in any more than 5 minutes of footage into a project causes your app to lag and run slowly whenever you try to work on the project. And they have the audacity to charge you money for this? I’d expect some effort to be put in your product if you want to steal my money. Overall very dissatisfied and angry that I wasted so much time on this and have to redo everything I did because of a very nonsensical glitch. Limited and cumbersome app with only barebones applicationsThis app is ok for some very basic editing, but don't expect much aside from that. The app fights you more than it will make your life easier. Where is the undo button for crying out loud?? It's either hidden away or not present, either way a big no-no for a video editing app. The "beat markers" don't actually work that well for cutting to the beat, and oftentimes don't even line up with the music. Splitting footage is more of a headache than it should be for something that should be fast and needs to be done often. There is no way to smoothly transition between footage speeds, making things look choppy unless the entire reel is one speed. The time markers also do not help one bit with editing since there is no consistency, thereby making it painfully hard to make your footage line up with your music. Should be good, subtitles break the entire app.I’ve been using Filmmaker Pro on and off for a couple of months now and overall it’s a decent program. It’s a little frustrating and definitely needs some updates but the main one is when you try to use speech to text to make subtitles. It quite literally crashes the entire system it either it either will not take any of the work that you’ve done a completely delete all of your subtitles or it will literally crash your entire program and you cannot open your entire video again like you literally just start over from scratch. It’s completely breaking the program and it’s honestly unacceptable. If you want a frustrating experienceReally if you want to work slower this app is for you. Some features are great but the cons greatly out weigh them. Dealing with this app is pretty frustrating. Trying to split or trim your video is like threading a needle with a macro scope. Not “micro”, MACRO! Plus unnecessary steps to do it. First click video while it zooms out your entire project so you get the least accurate cut possible. You better not have a video longer the 30 seconds if you want accurate. Why not zoom in so I can see the frames. Hit the action, adjust, hit the check mark. In that exact order. Why?! If you adjust then hit split it resets so you have to adjust it again. Why not have it split from the tick marks current position. Maybe you want to undo that trim. Good luck. Better start over. Get rid of that check mark, making it 3 steps. How about adjust then hit trim. Bam 2 steps. And put a undo button. If there is one then its definitely not visible..Cool-123Version: 7.9.1
