Publix Pharmacy App Comments & Reviews
Publix Pharmacy Positive Reviews
Best pharmacy aroundI am a physician and I’ve interacted with many pharmacies as a doctor and patient. This applies to members of my family too. This is by far the best team of professionals and their assistants I have ever encountered. Kevin is not only a top notch pharmacist but a genuinely nice, empathetic, bright and helpful person . He truly loves his job, as do I, and it shows. No matter how busy he is he takes the time to help everyone. He treats people like they are the only person in the store no matter what question or issues that bring up. His team is also the highest quality you will find . Steve, the other pharmacist there is likewise Golden on every level . Knowledgeable, articulate, helpful and has an inviting smile that communicates acceptance and approachability. He is the first person to get me to have a flu shot in years . Doctors are notorious for neglecting such things for themselves. The only hesitancy I had about writing this review is the possibility Kevin will be promoted and leave Palm City where he is a legend . I wish the very best for him but I can’t imagine going there without seeing him. Thank goodness Steve is also there. Promote both of them and, well, let’s not go there !.Version: 3.1.13
Pharmacy at University walk Sarasota flI have used Publix Pharmacies to fill my prescription for 20 plus years if not longer and many different ones in the Sarasota fl area depending on where I was living at the time and for the past 5 years have been going to Publix Pharmacy at University Walk and I absolutely love the staff and pharmacist there and i can honestly say without a doubt that everyone who works in the department are the most friendliest and will go out there way to make sure you get the best possible service and I know they probably have customers thru out the day who can be difficult for no reason at all and I have seen it first hand and they still show them professionalism and a friendly smile and that’s the kind of customer service that keeps me coming back and as long as I live right the street they will always be my favorite Publix Pharmacy and hands down best experience I have had out all of them in the Sarasota area! Keep up the good work and I just wanted to let the Team know how awesome they are and how much I appreciate them ! Yours Truly Frederick Lane.Version: 3.1.12
Love this PharmacyI transferred from another major pharmacy several years ago to Publix. They have been the best pharmacy I have ever had. The previous pharmacy would not have my medication that I get every month for the past 24 years. They would have me running all over Jax to their different locations trying to get my my prescription filled. I have never went to Publix & not be able to access my meds. Everyone from the pharmacist to the techs have been kind & professional. The app is so convenient to request refills as well, and to see what medications I have available. Hope I never have to change pharmacy’s..Version: 3.1.12
Needs to support other elderly family membersUpdate: a Publix pharmacist helped us navigate this issue. See below for original concern. You can do this setup for elderly family member but you have to log yourself out of the app first and then use a unique email address for the elderly person. That worked. It would be nice for this to be more seamless for supporting others - like it supports minors in the household but this is better than nothing. Original post: The app is very good except one glaring omission that I suppose is tied to PHI laws. The problem is a lot of families have the responsibility to refill our elderly parents meds and they don’t have smartphones or any tech skills. So they can’t have the app. The ability to have another family member who is not a minor added to the account in the app would be so useful. Just the ability to see if a med is refillable easily would be so helpful in this scenario. This prevents having to call the pharmacy as much. Especially for our elderly who don’t live with us but we have to get their refills. Please figure out a way to add this feature!.Version: 3.1.8
Ok, but has a couple of issuesI like the convenience of this app for the most part, but there are a few improvements that are needed. First, my cell phone number keeps getting deleted from the app, and as a result, I can’t receive the text message notifications letting me know that my prescriptions are ready. I have added my cell phone number to the app several times, but it seems like with each update recently, my cell phone number gets cleared. And I don’t realize it until I refill a prescription and don’t receive the text message. Another issue is filling prescriptions that are “on file”. You have to locate the prescription(s) in your record on the app, then you have to manually enter the prescription numbers to fill them. It would be nice to be able to just click the prescriptions I want to fill in my record without have to manually enter the prescription numbers. if these issues could be fixed, the app would be great!.Version: 3.1.3
A Game-Changer for My Pharmacy Needs – So Convenient! The Publix pharmacy app has truly made managing my prescriptions so much easier and hassle-free. From quick refills to tracking my medication history, the app simplifies everything, allowing me to spend less time worrying about prescriptions and more time on what matters. It’s incredibly convenient to use on the go – no more waiting on hold or last-minute pharmacy trips. The reminders are helpful, and it keeps everything organized. If you’re looking for a way to streamline your pharmacy experience, this app is a must-have!.Version: 3.1.1
Great Place to fill your prescriptionsWhat makes this pharmacy different from all others is its staff. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming and wonderful. Unfortunately I don’t remember everyone’s names but everybody at the pharmacy at Grand Traverse I consider to be my extended family. In conclusion I must say that the stand out among this great staff, my friend Sara( not sure if she spells her name with an “H” at the end) If I were 20 years younger I would marry this wonderful and beautiful woman. And I say this with the utmost respect and reverence possible. She absolutely makes every visit a special experience..Version: 3.1.13
NO AUTO REFILLAt least needs to meet the same standards as CVS and others’ app. Difficulty fine-tuning without calling the store and no AUTO REFILL options for maintenance drugs to be filled when available — messages only cause an extra step for the user to go order. UPDATE: Hello. Thank you for reaching out. We are pleased to inform we do have a Sync Your Refills option. Reach out to your Publix Pharmacy team member for additional assistance with this. We look forward to assisting you further. -Gabe Gabe, you are misting the assignment. I already reached out to the pharmacy. You do NOT have this option. The best they offer is a reminder of an upcoming medication to potentially refill, which we hopefully got signed up for; however, this then requires the customer to login and go through the steps to place a refill order. CVS has an option to put maintenance prescriptions on auto refill where no additional actions or steps are required — a notice is sent when ready. The Publix Pharmacy at Bradley Park in Columbus, GA stated you have no such option..Version: 3.1.8
Best Phaacy in OrlandoSwitching to Publix pharmacy from Walgreens and CVS has been the best thing I've done. No more waiting forever, no more screwing up my orders, no more frustration. They clearly are superier to the rest. Well staffed, never a wait of more than one person ahead on line, no problems with orders, tineky filling. Not only that but their Pharmacists and techs are highly trained, consistently great and totally efficient. A well run operation. A consistently performing app. My particular experience has been with Publix Altamonte and Publux Winter Park on Aloma. Kudos and much thanks!!.Version: 3.1.1
The definition of five starsReally, this app has made my life so much easier. Pay in the app, request a refill with one tap, see which presentations are overdue for a refill, all features that make this wonderful. Also, visiting my pharmacy location is fantastic, I’ve never had to wait behind more than one car or for more than 5 minutes before getting served in the drive-thru or at the counter. Unlike the last pharmacy I used to go to, which was a nightmare..Version: 3.1.4
Extra ordinarily helpful 🥳This app is not only time saving for refills; it provides a convenient record which I can refer to as needed. Ex: it lets me know to notify my doc if a refill needs to be called in. It also enables me to contact the pharmacist when I need a refill without having to call & interrupt their work. I also find their response time super. It’s the best app i’ve seen..Version: 3.1.0
Works better but hard to find info I needThe newly redesigned app works better. Less crashing. It also used to get stuck/hung when pulling info, processing order fulfillment updates, or processing payments. The new app is much better at pulling/pushing info. It would be nice if info was easier to find. When I log in, I want to see most recent prescriptions and last fill date easily. The horizontal scroll prescription info isn’t that helpful without the last fill date. Also, I shouldn’t have to dig and click so much to find the pharmacy hours. It’s actually quicker to Google that than use the app. That feature and the transfer is made for new users. A user is only new once. Returning users are the bulk of traffic. I don’t need to open the map and see every location in the state. I need my local pharmacy info. People don’t change pharmacies that often. Please put more time and effort into user testing and research..Version: 3.1.3
It’s just okI have been trying to find a way to delete the archived prescriptions that I no longer use. The app doesn’t have that option. I’ve asked the pharmacy to do it through their system. They confirm that they will remove them yet they still show up on my app. I just want the ability to have those removed. I received feedback and followed the instructions by removing my name and adding it again. It did not work. All of the prescriptions that I no longer take in the archived section are still listed..Version: 3.1.10
Text Rx “available for refill” NotificationsIt would really help if the text “Rx available for refill” notifications contained the Publix STORE NUMBER as well as that pharmacy PHONE NUMBER. Sometimes it is necessary to pick up an Rx at different Publix location than my normal one: - Different store in a metro area has stock for same day pickup - I am a Snowbird and spend time, and pick up Rx, in Florida In both of these cases, the refill notice is sent out from the temporary pharmacy, whereas I would greatly appreciate picking up at my local neighborhood location. BTW, the “Thanks for your order” text has the phone number, but not the store number, and the “available for pickup” text has the store number but not the phone number. How about a little standardization across all 3 standard notification texts?.Version: 3.1.6
Refill Selections Are Too SensitiveThis is an excellent app. It needs but a few tweaks to make it better, that will serve to make it Great. When making refill selections, while scrolling among my many prescriptions available for refill, the act of scrolling on this too sensitive page results in unwanted selections being made, as well as unselecting already selected and wanted prescriptions. It makes it far too difficult to perform a very important task, one which should be easy to perform, that results in a confident selection of very important medicines. Instead the page results in wanted medications being missed, while at the same time selecting unneeded and unwanted medications with causes gaps in needed and important medications. This page could be streamlined and redesigned so it results in confident selections being made, that are easily and immediately recognized as having been made. Unwanted refills cause extra expense and unwanted trips to this excellent and friendly pharmacy that is head and shoulders above all of their competition. Let’s make this page at least as equally good as each of the Public Pharmacies this application supports. Please test this Refill Page using a good number of prescriptions, preferably between a dozen running prescriptions, and a max of 20 total medications. This problem does not rise to a maddening level when dealing with only a half dozen medications. Try using someone to test improved pages that is not young and does not have a steady hand, but has some trembling from repaired cervical stenosis, someone who has gone through some of life’s major challenges and tribulations and may have gone through Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) or something similar that can make things a little rougher than a younger person would be used to. That would give the Graphical User Interface Development Team a real life input. Thank you for reading this far on what for me is a very important topic, which is frequently used and causes more than its fair share of consternation. I stand ready and available to assist with developing and testing any improved pages. Richard Lima Mike Yankee Echo Romero Sierra @ gmail dot com.Version: 3.1.2
Great PharmacyI use the Publix Pharmacy at Naples Towne Center. The staff there are outstanding. Unlike CVS and Walgreens, when I need a prescription right away and am going to wait onsite to pick it up I have NEVER been told that the wait time is over 1 hour!!! I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. They take care of the patient standing in front of them! Great job Olivia, Pete, and Susan!.Version: 3.1.3
BugCan’t log-in to submit a refill request. The app has produced an invalid website after entering login credentials and hitting submit- “Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid.” Please fix ASAP, it’s been broken for weeks. Edit: Deleted app and redownloaded. Works fine now. Will leave this feedback for the devs..Version: 3.1.11
Great place to refill scriptsAlways very pleasant no matter what time it is when I come in there. They are patient whenever I have to ask questions and always go above and beyond when working with doctors and insurance companies. Would highly recommend them if you are looking for someone to fill your scripts..Version: 3.1.12
This is a great way to get my meds :DI’m a minor but I’m still able to call in my own medicine when needed and I don’t even have to know when there needed! Because when I get on the app it tells me the medication I was about to call in a refill for already was overdue for one! Imma be using this system forever that’s for sure ;).Version: 3.1.3
Excellent serviceI have been using this pharmacy for many years. I have always had exceptional service. The technicians are polite and attentive. The pharmacist is on top of everything. I also get my vaccinations at this pharmacy when they’re available. They honor my time, keep the areas clean, and give quality care..Version: 3.1.7
Good-ish AppUPDATE: Apparently, the way to rectify the issue is to go to the “patients” tab on the app, delete yourself as a patient, and then re-add yourself. You’ll need a prescription number from a recent pill bottle to complete the registration. A nice tech talked me through it and, voila!, I can pay for my meds again. I changed the rating back to 4 stars (leaving one off because that info should be part of the APP’s trouble shooting or FAQs). The option to pay for prescriptions before picking them up is no longer available. I understand some medications have to be paid for in person, but none of mine are. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, as well as the credit card info, all to no avail..Version: 3.1.13
Outstanding serviceI have been using Publix Pharmacy for a very long time now and it has not failed me yet. Even when I’ve needed compound medication they took care of me. Me and my family have been using Publix Pharmacy for a long time and we will continue to use them going forward..Version: 3.1.12
Wanda SkeenMy husband and I have been using this Publix on 13th st in Gainesville for a while now, and we live in Interlachen. This Publix Pharmacy is the kindest, considerate and most helpful than CVS in Interlachen ever thought to be. I’ve thought of switching to the Palatka Publix, but I’m not sure I’d have the same experience. Thank you to Publix Pharmacy at the Exchange location. You guys are #1!.Version: 3.1.8
User FriendlyThis Publix Pharmacy App is easy to use, even for this ol’ man. It’s easy to request refills and you can select what day you need it. It comes in very handy. If I go to a doctor and they want to know what medications I am on, I just open this app, go to my “Prescriptions”, and they are all listed right there. This app is GREAT!.Version: 3.1.8
EasyThe app places your medication profile at your finger tips. Last fill date, how many refills let. You can select a future date or soonest available. If you link your other family members they can also get your prescription filled..Version: 3.1.3
Partial UseI don’t know what has happened, because the app was the best thing since sliced bread for me. Now I can see my prescriptions, archive if I need to, but I can no longer pay through the app or submit my prescriptions for refills. If there is or was an update I’m not sure if I got it. iPhone 12 Pro Max. This is the only reason I did not give 5 stars..Version: 3.1.13
Awesome job! Finally, the pharmacy app we've all been waiting for! 🙌 I kept saying, 'You need to change developers!' And guess what? You did it! 😂 Now it's smooth, reliable, and makes getting my meds a breeze. Kudos to the new team for making it happen!.Version: 3.1.1
Great app but past purchases are never thereI’ve been using this app for years and have made numerous refills and paid in the app so it’s easy when I pick it up. Awesome. Love that. However past refill information is never there. What is up with that? I want to see what I paid in the past but not there. Hiding something. Could be a 5 star app but that makes it an average app at best for me..Version: 3.1.12
The BESTI appreciate everything the pharmacy staff does for me & especially enabling my family member to pick-up my pre-paid medications. It is very convenient for both of us. My Part D insurance prefers subscribers to order through the mail, but that procedure does not suit my needs..Version: 3.1.7
The staffAs a Tbi I get confused and all the staff is amazing! They have caught when I was put on meds that can’t be combined thank god! And never judge me when I ask my dumb questions. Always so friendly even when they are so busy. And that is all the time. Kudos to them 🫶🏻🙏.Version: 3.1.12
I wish I could communicate to pharmacistI wish I could message them- many times my doctor will prescribe something but I do not need it right then. They will go ahead and fill it unless I call and I forget but would be able to stop them from filling if I could message on app. Great app but need a way to not have to call and message pharmacy instead..Version: 3.1.2
UsefulThis app is so convenient and easy to use. I am able to manage and fill my prescriptions without hassle. I can see how many refills I have available, as well as when the medications I take are coming up due. It is very good 👍.Version: 3.1.12
3 years & no complaintsLife has been lifing for the last few years, diagnosed with a few things here and there but publix pharmacy.. ANYWHERE has been there 100% when i’ve run out/forgotten about my refills. 10/10 every time.Version: 3.1.10
Love love loveI love everything about the Publix pharmacy app! They text I get to let me know it’s time to renew, the one I get when my order is ready! I even love the ability to pay online because sometimes that line is long at the pharmacy! :) thanks Publix.Version: 3.1.13
Works almost exactly as it should. The app itself works great. In fact, if they only told the quantity of your last refill along with the date it would be easy and a five star rating. But since they change some 90 day scripts to 30 days or 60 days it gets confusing without knowing what it was before refilling them..Version: 3.1.3
What happened to the prescription refill? All of a sudden, with a certain update, your Apple is doing very good but now it won’t tell me what prescriptions are due for refill when it notifies me over phone or email. It seems like a lot of features just suddenly dropped off of the app all of a sudden. It was looking so nice until recent updates..Version: 3.1.1
1st Time Paying through the App!!!This is the first time that I have paid for my prescriptions through the Publix Pharmacy App. It was very easy to set up my credit card for payment. I will be paying this way going forward..Version: 3.1.9
NoneI love this pharmacy. The people are so friendly and want to help. Within days, the workers knew my mom where the pharmacy mom used prior (even after years) never recognized her. They knew me when I had to pickup her meds for her (this was before I switched to Publix’s). They do what they can to help you out..Version: 3.1.6
