New app versionThis new ordering platform is awful and not user friendly. I have been ordering online for years but it seems like the platform recently changed. This new app automatically adds in gratuity and doesn’t give me a choice to alter it. I do not want to pay full service gratuity when I’m going to pick-up a “To-Go” Order. I always tip but I want to choose how much. It no longer see my regular orders saved to make it quicker and more efficient to order and go. I also don’t see a search bar to just type interesting what i want. I don’t want to scroll through a menu yo find it. Maybe I’m missing it but it was obvious on the old version. Plus, they changed the menu and took off my veggie market fresh omelet that I’m also very annoyed about. Lots of new changes that have not been great experiences overall..Jnb5609Version: 5.0.1

Best Mobile App for a RestaurantI love how everything is easy, convenient and pleasant to look. My husband and I go every Sunday to First Watch and the app makes it so easy to join the waitlist, if you go on Sunday’s you know how along the wait time can get. I only have use the online ordering once so far and it is so easy, I love the everything has a picture and it gives you so many options in regards of how you would like your food cooked or what ingredients you don’t want. I do wish the app would offer a couple more modification options— such as scrambled eggs with cheese or +add cheese button , or extra goat cheese etc . Good but could be betterAs far as food apps go, this one is ok. Average for the most part although I love that they include pictures of all the food since many of us are visual people. My biggest complaint though is that they do not allow mods or any space to make requests like “dressing/sauce on the side”, “extra dressing”, “extra crispy potatoes”, or maybe a space to note an allergy (like no mushrooms pls, etc.). I understand there could be an up charge for some of these things but that could be built into the app. To the company and the app designers, please consider adding this feature. Best food in FredericksburgI have been going to the first watch all the way in Woodbridge and I was ecstatic when the first watch opened at Cosner’s corner - yes it’s busy - if you use the call ahead seating options or order ahead when you are short for time it works out better for you , the food is just so tasty and the waitresses and waiters are very hands on. Unable to use as inteded.I’ve become increasingly frustrated with the First Watch app. One of the biggest issues is that it doesn’t allow ASAP orders, forcing customers to schedule pickup times even when they’re ready to order immediately. On top of that, if the restaurant is out of a single item, the app often won’t allow the order to go through rather than offering a substitution or letting the customer remove the unavailable item. What should be a quick and simple breakfast order often turns into a time-consuming process of troubleshooting the app, modifying orders, or starting over entirely. The food is good, but the ordering experience is so inconvenient that it makes me think twice about choosing First Watch. Missing food itemsThere’s not much good in an app that doesn’t include all food items - including side items like biscuits & gravy and other main food items like the salmon with poached eggs. Certain sides cannot be ordered because either not listed or they want a selection that is not available to the side menu. Basic Functionality Removed and the App Has Gone BackwardsThis app used to be decent, but removing the option to add basic order instructions was a terrible decision. I can no longer specify simple preferences like toasted bread or well done bacon. Orders now arrive however the store chooses to make them. Calling the location is pointless because phone orders are treated as the lowest priority and the wait times are unreasonable.
