My Pollen Forecast Pro App Comments & Reviews

My Pollen Forecast Pro Positive Reviews

Great! But...I think this app is very useful. I can always get the type of pollen and the low medium and high warning. The pollen list is in order of it’s intensity. This is my first go to app in preparing my day of the possibility for allergy medication. The limitation that disappoints me is not being able to get this information in an area I’m not currently physically in. I want to check the pollen in Eugene, OR when I’m home in Oakhurst, CA. If I could get that information from this app I would give you a 5 star rating and be telling everyone about this app not to mention how helpful this would be to me personally..Version: 2.2.3

DisappointedPurchased app based on screen shots. First off, it IS helpful for seeing what pollens are affecting an area during the day before going out. However, adding “journal entries” to track how you were affected by the pollens that day only gives you the ability to choose a 1 through 4 sad to happy face rating. It doesn’t keep track of the pollens that were active on that date. Tapping on older data only prompts you to change how you were feeling that day. Being in the military we move around a lot and I can’t know every seasonal pollen in the US that could possibly affect me. At least if I could add to a text box for the date I was tracking and add what the pollens were that day, so I could then go back and read it, I’d have an idea of what was bothering me. But really, what would be more ideal is clicking on old data should show me how I was feeling that day AND what the pollens were..Version: 2.3.6

So helpful and amazing.Love this app, check it every day and use the widgets. Would love a feature on being able to add what I know I’m allergic to, to get personalized notifications on days those allergies are popping. Like an extra, “look out” warning. Because some days can be medium, but nothing I’m allergic to. Definitely love the app though, as is. :) highly recommended on getting the paid version too..Version: 6.2.3

Great iOS app, Needs Complication support for WatchGreat iPhone app that’s easy to use with a good UI (and much better than the other popular pollen tracking app). The map is fantastic for travelers especially. However, I’m bummed that there isn’t a complication for Apple Watch, at least not one that I can find. Something that would show the current pollen count or level. Above and beyond would be infograph complication support to show the current and forecast counts (like weather). That would make it above and beyond the best pollen app out there..Version: 2.0.3

Past pollen countsI am curious if it would be possible to see a visual on past days even if I’ve not entered an entry every day. I know the pattern I have and don’t always enter information but seeing what forecasts have been for a given day or week last year or a few months prior would be super handy to have. If this is a feature I’ve missed please let me know. Thank you!.Version: 5.1.9

Good, but would like to write a note on it.This is a good app for Seasonal Allergy / year round Allergy is sufferers. The map is very helpful, and I can use it on my phone when moving place to place. I like the ratings on how high allergens are, and also like seeing the names. One thing though: it would be helpful if the app allowed me to write notes about the severity— or not— of my allergies. It says “Diary” at the bottom, but the app only allowed me to leave a date along with some information— not much— for that day..Version: 2.3.2

Great app but cannot save more than 1 locationGreat app but I live in one area and have to keep going back and forth between two different places. I always have to constantly reset custom location and should be able to set several like in weather apps. Is there any way to save several different places on this app? Would save a lot of my headaches. I live in one area but work in another most of the week..Version: 6.3.2

Favorite Allergy AppI really like the map with an indicator of where I am, anytime. It also has a diary to keep up with your symptoms, thus have fair warning as to what time of year you will, most likely, have them again and can be prepared. This app is how’s you exactly what is prevalent along with photos so you can steer clear..Version: 6.2.13

Great, basic appThis app does what it says it does and I’m happy with the UI. I’m even happy to have paid a one-time fee for the pro version. I hope the developers will consider making it more customizable in the future, but even as-is, it’s a great app for tracking the 3 highest pollen types in my area..Version: 6.5.2

HmmmmmI used the free version for quite some time. I finally upgraded to the “pro” version to support development, etc. Works pretty much the same, with our ads, which is fine. My only ‘wishes’ are that 1) you could review a few days (maybe up to a week or 10-days?) of history, and 2) the diary had a way to review the conditions on whatever day you make an entry... or, if this does exist, I wish it were easier to figure out how to use :).Version: 3.0.0

Excellent... butMore Apple Watch functionality. Siri watch face data source integration needed. As well as ability to enter the diary from watch with symptoms. Otherwise great. Happy to support the pro version. Keep the updates coming!.Version: 2.3.2

Decent app. Pro version needs more push notification capabilityNice app. Visually very clean. And provides necessary data in app. But for the Pro version, I'd really like to see more push notification capabilities. Allow me to receive alerts based on what I want to see, such as >medium pollen count for the current day, for tomorrow, at the time I want to receive them (morning, etc)..Version: 2.1.0

My preferred pollen appOverall, I find this app to be the best pollen tracking app. However, as someone who actually pays specific attention to the numerical pollen count, I’d love to see this added to the app ... in general, a “high pollen count” means nothing. Because a high count in WA state is 100pcm, whereas a high count in GA is 6000+pcm. Why does this matter? Because I use it to determine whether I can open my windows..Version: 2.0.7

Nice app for allergy sufferersI like this app to get details of pollen forecasts. It helps me identify which allergens are in the air and what’s could be causing our symptoms, especially during the Covid outbreaks..Version: 5.1.7

No dashboard or complicationUnlike other weather apps, there are no iPhone dashboard panels or watch complications that can be added to the watch. I figured a paid app that lists WatchOS would support a widget. Nobody wants to have to search for an app and open it to access information that for allergy sufferers is crucial on a daily basis. Are these features in the works?.Version: 2.3.7

Would benefit from historical pollen informationWould be great if added historical pollen lookup for days that were missed in the diary. There’s days we know we had bad allergies but didn’t record, now it’s too late to see what pollen type was bad that day.Version: 4.1.0

Assistant controllerThis pollen app has been excellent since I’ve started using; it is always accurate and such user friendly to use. A definite pleasure to use everyday of the entire year..Version: 6.2.10

Decent information, but needs more...I’d love to see settings for notifications by pollen type. Also, please add support for the Infograph watch complications..Version: 1.6.0

Daily checkI check the pollen levels every day.Version: 5.1.1

Pollen Pro Is A Handy ToolIf you are concerned with ragweed allergy, Pollen Pro gives you general pollen levels daily during hay fever season..Version: 6.1.3

Nice but can’t change locationI try setting a “Custom Location” to see what conditions are like there. The map pops up, but I can’t select a location..Version: 4.1.0

Diary EntriesIs there anyway to show a 12 month history rather than the present 9? If so, then this app would be perfect!.Version: 6.1.1

Pro vs Free VersionWhat’s the difference, really? It’s not particularly special in any “ooh, lemme pay for that!” aspect. I had d/L the free version first. Simple enough, but has a Google bar on the bottom of the map screen. It’s very banner-advertising-esque. Unappealing to me, so I figured I could pay to have it go away, like ads. Nope! So far, I can’t find any difference between the paid version and the free version. What’d I pay $2.99 for, exactly? *waits patiently*.Version: 2.1.6

Simple utility that I couldn’t wait to pay forIt does what it’s intended to do and it does it well..Version: 2.1.6

Pretty GreatI just wish the notifications would contain the pollen information so I don’t need to open the app constantly..Version: 1.4.0

Liking so far...I really like how simple the app is. No fluff needed. I would like to see a widget on my iPhone so it makes it that much easier to use the app..Version: 2.0.1

Under PerformingInitially when I bought this app, it performed well; however, currently it appears to have forecast limitations that greatly reduces its useability..Version: 6.3.2

Best App for Allergy SufferersPrice is well worth it..Version: 6.2.2

Not internationalHello I bought the pollen pro thinking it was international However after I paid the money and downloaded it the city I live in Paris France is not covered. Please refund me ASAP Thanks.Version: 2.3.2

Needs iPad WidgetIf the app had a widget that i could use on my iPad, it would be perfect..Version: 3.1.1

PollenProI would like color explaining for, "very hi, hi, moderate, low and none". This would clarify on the map better..Version: 2.0.3

AwesomeExcellent thread.Version: 6.5.2
