Aira made an educational app to learn about different types of eye diseases. Our goal is to develop leading technology and services that help remove remaining barriers for the visually impaired, expanding their possibilities to live with greater confidence and independence. There are an estimated 28 million blind and low-vision people in the United States alone, ranging from lack of central vision to complete blindness. The app simulates the most common eye diseases by using the camera and overlaying filters.

Good startSo as an RP sufferer, it is hard to explain what I DO NOT see and what I DO see. This gives a moderate idea to people and helps shorten my explanation. I do wish the developers add settings for floaters, random strobing lights, and swirling lights as those are all things that are going on at the same time as the restricted peripheral vision..Version: 1.0.2
Great appI have RP, so this is a great app to help explain to people what I can or cannot see in a nutshell. Only thing I wish more for is the floaters and randomness that floats around my constricted vision. But all in all, I use it to help educate others..Version: 2.0.0
