It integrates the image capture and ordering process, and bundles all of these elements into one electronic file you can email to Townsend.

When Townsend receives the file, Townsend uses proprietary processes to modify the image based on the patient information and brace options you select. The modified file is sent to a three axis mill to carve a positive model of the patient's limb that is used to fabricate the custom brace. For carbon fiber and composite braces, a vacuum lamination process is used. For aircraft aluminum braces, the metal parts are hand-contoured to intimately fit the leg model.
