Arby's - Fast Food Sandwiches Positive Reviews
ComplaintI love our Arby’s and I love eating there. I signed up because that way I can send my husband in sometimes, to pick up an order and all he has to do is drive up and pick it up. We went yesterday. I ordered ahead, it worked out perfect, except for one thing. If I would’ve went inside and ordered rather than ordering on my phone and (then setting in inside enjoying it), it would’ve been cheaper for me. You have specials on the windows, and order board, but you don’t have them on your order form, on the internet, for us to order. The two sandwiches were six dollars inside on the order board, but when we ordered them through the Internet, they were three dollars more. So I guess from now on we’ll have to just wait till we get there and go in to order. And if I have to order and have my husband pick it up, we will have to order someplace. (He is not able to figure everything out, so I order ahead and just having him pick it up, when we do it that way). I’ve heard other people complain about that too. If you’re going to have sandwiches two for six inside, you don’t put them at a higher price because they’re on the Internet. Food was good, service was good and the place is always clean! So I guess we always go inside in order and if we’re in a hurry, and have to order and have him pick it up, we won’t be ordering. Thank you! My favorite place to eat, but now, only if we have the time to go in..Potty handleVersion: 4.38.10
Very poor customer serviceOrdered using app, was ready about 8-10 min later. They were very busy so we overlooked the wait. We were more than happy with our sandwiches…but the curly fries (literally every one of them) were about an 1/2inch long, dried and overcooked. They were all like that. We asked if they could replace it and also stated that we knew they were busy, so whenever. After several min. I went back up to inquire. Carter, very rudely and disrespectfully informed me that we shouldn’t have expected them to be relaxed, they were busy and the curly fries were fine. To which I responded that “I was used to having good customer service.” Manager must have heard the rudeness, handed him the curly fries (much better…wish I had taken a pic of the others) but, obviously didn’t instruct Carter to apologize for his rudeness. Very disappointing..Curlier23Version: 4.9.15
Much improved!Updating my review again, and things are really looking up. Changing from 1 star to 4, and will go to 5 if the trend continues. I haven’t been getting a bunch of already-expired offers lately. But I did get a VERY high-value offer. Used it tonight, ordering via the app as required (app or online only). Everything was easy and intuitive, and the food was fresh, hot and really tasty. Friendly and attentive staff, too. But just in case the “says closed at 9:20 when location is really open till 10” bug wasn’t fixed yet, I made a point of ordering before 9 (namely 8:50), but had no problem scheduling for 9:15.
OLD REVIEWS
Updated: Changing from 2 stars to 1 because it’s gotten even worse. I periodically get a notification that I have new offers available, but when I look at them they ALL expired LAST month. Plus, when I contacted them about the experience described in my original review (below), it promised I’d get a response, but I haven’t. And I checked spam. I suppose it’s possible they called and didn’t leave a voicemail, but I highly doubt it. Got an email saying, “Hurry, your free sandwich offer is outta here (expiring)!” The app and web both told me that location near me is open until 10pm ever night. In my car outside the open-as-expected location at 9:20pm, I started placing the order, but the app wouldn’t let me check out, telling me that the location is closed?! But that I’m free to place the order for 10:15am the next morning! Counter person inside says sorry, but she has no way to give me my free sandwich if the offer says it requires online ordering. The only reason for two stars instead of one is because the other time I used the app (for lunch) it worked OK and gave me a good deal. But come on, “location closed, can’t order for tonight” when it’s a high-value online-order-only deal and the store was actually still very much open?.RDP94Version: 4.22.17
Overly Strict Login Policies, No Saved Payment Methods, No Rewards Program, Passable Mobile OrderingOverall, it is a serviceable way to order ahead to Arby’s. It does notably lack any way to specify a pickup location in the store - forget cubside, you can’t even choose Drive-Thru. There is also no rewards program to speak of, so there’s no real incentive to use the app outside of some sparse deals that have been declining in value for sometime now. The most frustrating part is that I am constantly logged out of the Arby’s app and it even insists on two factor authentication even though nothing is saved on the app to make that worthwhile. I have to put in my card information every time I order anyway, so what benefit do I gain from being logged out every few days? Without saved payment methods or rewards to spend, bad actors have little to gain from accessing my account. The best thing that I can say about this app is that it is functional, but it is lacking some features that are standard in the industry..MooImAFoxVersion: 4.27.10
Needs workThe app is demonstrative, and attractive, definitely gets your order in well. A few notes:
The app logs you out if you don’t order for a bit. Not sure exactly how long, but I think mine was maybe a week? I’m not ordering Arby’s every day, folks, I mean honestly. Wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t for the external login, meaning you need a website to load, and that seems to take forever, even in good signal areas. Maybe it’s to encourage frequent patronage, but the yield is not likely worth the aggravation of customers.
The combos and their component parts are in separate PAGES. What? Why isn’t there an option to make any sandwich a combo? Eliminate the need for a combo page at all that way. Very confusing the first time, looking at a sandwich and wondering how I make it a combo, a big to back out and noticing the combo section, then having to search the sandwich up again. Maybe that’s to encourage you to look the menu over more, but again, not worth the aggravation and very unintuitive..PicsnappelejaxVersion: 4.22.17
Good food, good app, but I’m madGood food, good app but I’m mad as heck! Y’all be coming up with the stupidest coupons I have ever seen! Why do I need to spend $15 just to get 20% off!? What good is a coupon then!? do 20% off if you’re going to do 20% off! No requirements. The meals are already well over $10 easy. I could just come up with an order combination that’s less than 10 bucks. What’s the point of this coupon?? even dumber is the five dollars off a $20 order coupon. The heck am I eating for two?? Come on you guys if you’re going to do Discounts, do better.😒 I like Arby’s, but I’m telling you I’m gonna be considering other restaurants way more than this because they have better coupon deals. Heck they have regular meal deals that are better than your coupons, that’s embarrassing..Regalcat302Version: 4.39.5
Keep up the Great Customer ServiceI work up to the hill on Columbiana Road & when I’ve stopped for my families dinner(after work), the young men are ALWAYS so polite when I’m ordering at the window and especially when I cannot make up my mind, they answer my questions without any haste. I appreciate that more than you know. Customer service seems to be an-lost art, but I’m so thankful that your employees have not lost that! It starts with leadership, so keep that up, please. With everything occurring in the world, just having GREAT customer service when you’re spending your hard earned money-makes it better. And, it does NOT go unnoticed! They are working hard for their money and their families. Thank you so much, The Gates’!.TeaFree1977Version: 4.38.10
No Jamaica shake with the syrup on the side I believe the people were lying who worked there.I had just ordered a Jamaica shake like two days ago from the same place Lakeside Arby’s and I got the jahmocha shake with the nice chocolate syrup on the side kind of like a shake Thai tea I’ve been getting them for “years “there and then when I pulled up tonight, they said they didn’t no longer put the chocolatey syrup on the side and I said that’s not true. I just got one the other day which I had they said no they didn’t so I got my money back and I didn’t believe them because I know for sure I gotten one just the other day so they were not very honest with me. Otherwise I love Arby’s. I’ve always loved Arby’s. I’ve gone to Arby’s for years family ties to Arby’s special place to me so for something like that to happen was whacked …..anyhow I hope next time when I show up, they can make it up to me all the best with respect..Benz Fire AppVersion: 4.39.5

Limited featuresIn my opinion, this application is of little value when compared to its competition. The payment options are limited. It doesn’t offer PayPal or Apple Pay.. it doesn’t offer a loyalty program or offers. Since Arby’s paper coupons are widely available, customers end up incurring a higher total cost than customers not using the application and using coupons. The application requires customers to pickup the order inside the restaurant. It doesn’t provide for drive through or in car pickup options. In my opinion, this application offers little customer value. Competing fast food restaurant applications offer far more feature functionality..Papa58Version: 3.6.4
The AppI tried several times yesterday June 10, 2024 to place an order via the app. Every time I clicked “bag” the app crashed and disappeared. You offer these amazing “app only” deals and the order couldn’t be placed. I went in and spoke with an employee who seemed bothered by my question as to why. She told me the store has nothing to do with the app and I found that odd. I waited for my food and watched the employees work. The manager had a drive thru order that was placed via app as the customer was at the window to pick up her food and the girl on the register said she never received the app order. Cmon Arby’s, you must do better! America’s Roast Beef Yes Sir needs an app developer who can get this right!.SerkezmnVersion: 4.25.9
Your Best items should NOT be LIMITED time onlyI really enjoy some of the promotional menu items. It’s like a pattern, you put out a promotional menu item and I fall in love with it and then I go there for lunch multiple times per week and then one day, these items are no longer on the menu. I am 💔heart broken 💔 regarding the Mac and Cheese you all sold in 2023. It was my absolute favorite and hands down the BEST Mac and cheese anywhere. I have been waiting for a very long time and I’m still waiting for it to return and NO SUCH 🍀 luck 🍀 . Also the loaded fries that you had on the menu were my boyfriend’s favorite and NOW that’s gone. Sad times. 😞. Please bring back the Mac and Cheese at least for one whole season EVERY year and repeat that with your loaded fries..11Piper11Version: 4.29.7
SchoolI’m actually doing a short paper on mobile marketing for my college. I’m picking this app because it’s just a menu. It’s way behind in terms of competitors online ordering options and coupon availability. I wish you guys would take note of this, great food but get with the times. The app is lackluster and leaves much to be desired. The Facebook option to sign in doesn’t even work. This company still relies on coupon mailers to attract customers. I throw those things away and always forget them if I were to go to this fast food place. While I enjoy your food you’re losing valuable revenue dollars. You could be achieving greatness through mobile advertising such as that of McDonald’s. Anyways I wish you the best, but this app is too bad to pass up for critiquing in class by providing examples of business practices in advertising..Charlie47274849272Version: 2.0.8
Coupons in the mail but NOT on the app?? This is ridiculous!Coupons in the mail but NOT on the app??Okay since Arby’s started and originated in Ohio it is an AWFUL shame that their are NO coupons in the app! What is the issue Arby’s’?? It would save paper and I can guarantee you that more people would use your App to buy Arby’s!!
WAKE UP ARBY’S!! Get with technology and use the app instead of clipping coupons!! Burger King uses both and it’s pretty sad to see an Ohio based company like Arby’s (I’m a PROUD born and raised female in Ohio!) that does NOT utilize the app and special offers more often!
Use the app for more deals/discounts Arby’s!!!!
I do like searching and browsing through the menu to see what’s new and the nutritional labels are a FUN time when we see how much sodium is in everything!.Ahmed AduudyVersion: 2.0.4
East Commerce, Hernando MSThe staff has always been very friendly. And your burgers can give the other burger joints a run for their money:)
(However, I hate to end on a negative note, which I am almost positive is not this store’s fault, for the reasons mentioned above. I would be willingly to bet that your steak bites are going to be “available for a limited time only” because I could taste the “beef jerky preserve” and the price per nugget considering that is a no-go for me. Otherwise, your current menu is legit.
Conclusion:
My local store is great.
Burger’s should stay.
The steak nuggets will sell well, but only initially bc of your marketing blitz; but will fade out because the quality, thus a lack of repeat buyers. Aka: The law of diminishing returns.
Ending on a good note.
Your app game has improved.
(I have & scroll through most of your competitors before deciding.)
You are no longer close to the bottom with occasional deals.
McDonald’s
Chick-Fil-a
Taco Bell
seemed to be reward only.
That won’t incentivize new or old customers to become repeat customers again.
Thanks you.

Incorrect InfoI’ve been trying to use your app to narrow down restaurants where I can purchase your limited time country ribs sandwich. It seems as though all of your Arby’s stores do not offer the sandwich at this time. However when I walk in and talked with your staff at three different locations, they say they’ve always had the sandwich and it’s been available. I asked him if they had any shortages due to supply issues and they’ve said no.
The app is very lacking in keeping track of information and making it available to your customer base. It would be nice to be able to use the app to track where we could purchase special order items as well as purchase orders online prior to going to the store similar to McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Burger King, or even Jack in the box..Crjdriver888Version: 3.5.2
Ordering on the appNot being able to pick up your mobile order at the drive thru is very inconvenient. There are 4 reasons I could think of off the top of my head why someone would be inconvenienced being made to come in to pick up their order. An older person that has difficulty getting in and out of their car, a disabled person for the same reason, a single parent with children in the car and a sick person not wanting to spread germs. Also when I asked why an order done on the app had to be picked up inside the answer was I don’t know. If you are going to irritate your customers at least have a reason.NotgoodcustomerserviceVersion: 3.6.4
Terrible app, NOTHING LIKE McDonald’s or BKSigned up for ALL local 7 major FF chains, Arby’s is by far the WORST, Wendy’s is a close 2nd. I’ve been getting emails & texts w/ freebies & special offers requiring logging in. The included link takes me to login (great). Login and NOW the offers change. Usually is NOT for the FREE item but a BOGO or reduced price. The latest is a $3 French Dip. Again the link takes you to login, and aging it welcomes me as a NEW user & the deal is not what was offered.
I’ve been trying this for over a year now & it has improved, but I have yet to be successful in redeeming a “Special Offer”. I showed 2 locations the screwed up app and they say I’m not the first & nothing they can do; this last time I turned around & went to Chik-Fila..Mr TyrrVersion: 4.29.7
Pointless appThis review is about the app, not Arby’s. I love Arby’s, as do the people who posted 5 star reviews. This app does not allow creating an order or ordering ahead. It lets you find a store. It does not allow you to then navigate to that store. So what does it do? The app ONLY shows you pictures of the food and thenutritional content. The app has coupons, but it does not have the coupons you get in email. It does not note special deal going on, like the 2 for $6, or $5 combos. The app is virtually useless, for all the things you would want an app for. The app gets one star. The second is because I still love Arby’s..SejohannsenVersion: 2.0.4
Can’t schedule pickup date / time with latest update. The latest app update says that it will now allow you to schedule a future date / time pick up for an order. however, when I try to actually place an order, the only options available for date and time are ASAP and ASAP. The app will not let me choose an actual date or a time for a future order. I’ve tried placing orders at a couple different Arby’s but I still can’t can’t change the date or time. apparently ASAP is the only available option when using the app? If I go online via a computer to Arby’s website, it will let me choose a date and time for any of the Arby’s locations that I choose but that doesn’t do me any good if I want to use the actual Arby’s app on my iPhone..Charles DeGaulleVersion: 4.7.24
Difficulty with appWhen using the app, it is slow to respond to commands. Recently, I was using the app and when I got to the payment page to use a card, I repeatedly got a a message stating the app was having technical difficulties. I tried paying with Apple Pay and got to the ‘order processing,’ but again received the same message, we are experiencing technical difficulties. Finally, I abandoned the app and ordered inside the restaurant where the cashier said they had no way to enter the June deal that was on the app. If it hadn’t been for the fact that I like Arby’s food, I would have walked out. Fix it so cashiers have access to ring up the online deals, and look at the payment page that won’t continue to the end of the process. Thanks..Marrinan55Version: 4.25.9
Functional But NEEDS ImprovementThe app and even the online ordering system do the most basic thing they need to, allow someone to order from a participating location. The issue is the UX, which encompasses usability, functionality, and convenience IN THAT ORDER. Luckily, in general, the devs have worked out the major crashing and freezing problems from earlier versions of the app so usability is largely addressed, and most importantly the main ingredients for each menu item is made very easy to find not even requiring more than looking at the item detail page.
Functionality is still utterly lacking. The ability to customize your items or order sides of sauces/dips is limited at best. Each menu item should have the ability for a user to indicate both the identity and level of change. For example, the user should be able to easily select they want extra Red Ranch on their Beef & Cheddar, to add a light amount of onion to a sandwich, or switch a Market Fresh Sandwich from bread to a wrap. None of these are possible yet. Nor is it possible to make any special requests like having the sauce on the side. I worked in fast food restaurants for years and requests for extra sauce, sauce on the side, and substituting Swiss cheese in for American cheese was common and came at little or no cost to the customer. They expect to be able to get these, but cannot. Being able to choose “Extra, Light, On Side” for an ingredient I consider to be part of basic functionality. Add a “Special Request” checkbox that allows for customized user input with a disclaimer that requests cannot be guaranteed and any that would require a price increase will not be accommodated. The restaurant backend can be handled in several possible ways. Fix the functionality guys.
As for convenience, the only thing missing as far as I can tell — and would define as convenient not functional — is the ability to use print coupons online/in-app. Bonus points for allowing multiple coupons that don’t affect the same item (e.g. $1 off Chicken Strips and BOGO Classic Roast Beef on the same order). In-store/drive-thru customers have sidestepped the issue since nearly the beginning by just separating their order into two or more smaller orders..Sraym5Version: 4.26.4
Lacking Customization in Ordering MenuCustomization that mirrors a dine-in, or at best, a drive-thru order experience equivalent. No one should have to ask for extra sauce (be it honey mustard, or the amazing red ranch, or even ketchup) upon arrival to pick up a pre-sealed bag. That completely defeats the entire point of ordering in the app, & its efficiency. You can’t even change a B&C to have a sesame bun. That’s absurd. This app doesn’t reflect the dine in experience. Usually, Arby’s will make it happen if you ask. Not in the app though. Inconvenience and inconsistency is bad business. The functionality seems relatively seamless, and the Ui Is clean. But this app is too basic. Have you seen ChickFilA’s app, it’s absolutely flawless and you can do things like ask for extra ice, or napkins? You can do better..PeaceLoveJoy086Version: 4.9.9
John ChurlikI love Arby’s! You guys are by far my favorite fast food restaurant. I’m a huge fan of the bacon cheddar roast beef with horsey sauce. I also utilize your mid day specials. I work for myself an don’t normally take lunch often an never right at exactly at 12 so they work out perfect for me. I even go out of my way to find an Arby’s. I will say I’ve had problems with the app. I haven’t got any offers in a few weeks. I’m not sure what’s wrong so if anyone reading this can help out an fix this or let me know why that would be great. Finally keep up the great work offering the best sandwiches around at a reasonable price in a short time. Thank you.JCBeefVersion: 2.0.2

Arby's - Fast Food Sandwiches Negative Reviews
Would be wonderful and 5⭐️ if it worked correctly.I am frustrated with the Arby’s app. I just hope they care a little about the reviews coming in.
It was working great when I first got it, I used it for about 3 weeks with no issues. Loved the 50% off coupon given a few weeks ago! Love the deal on the $1 sliders.
I am unable to use the app anymore. It crashes EVERY time I try to go to my cart. I can’t clear the cart out. I can add items to the cart, but when I tap the cart icon the app force crashes every time. I can’t sign out of my account which I think might be a temp fix for the issue. So I have to delete and reinstall the app again, and I hope I remember my sign on information. Seriously you guys are a major fast food app you should have this figured out by now. If you could fix this issue I would give 5 stars because other than this, the app is useable and the UX isn’t bad. The weekly offers are great. I do wish there were more options such as ability to add needed sauces to order. You give them away for free inside so why can’t I have an option on the app? I also very much dislike there only being two options to get your food. Immediately or 30+ min later. I never get to the store at the right time. I always end up having to wait, sometimes 10+ minutes for my order even when I placed the order 15 minutes ago..Customer of the Day124Version: 4.26.4
Worst App EVERI recently ordered some food online at my nearby Arby’s and for some reason it said that the foods gonna be ready by 10 AM the next morning. I of course did not even show up the next morning but I even called the restaurant and some employee there stated that I can cancel online which you can’t and this is the only restaurant that you cannot cancel the order. I will never use this app ever again which I’m going to uninstall this app and I’m going to not come to Arby’s anymore because they got rid of a lot of things. I am not sure why they got rid of Pepsi and went to Coke but Pepsi out sells Coke so I’m not sure why they would switch. Arby’s has lost a lot of customers lately and there is one restaurant that’s near me which is on Sherman that is one of the worst locations ever because they shut down the ordering system for a long time and that’s probably why their whole system is all screwed up telling customers of their food we ready the next morning. Also the associate or employee or whatever they are called stated that I can order from another location well I just paid for the food so not sure why they would not help me out they were no help at all and cannot even tell me on how to cancel the order.
I then had to contact Arby’s by phone which I do weighed wait to I then had to contact Arby’s by phone which I had to wait about 45 minutes which I don’t think there’s a lot of people that actually called the corporate office but it was a waste of my time calling waiting 45 minutes and I don’t think I got a refund as of yet. There should be a way to cancel in the app as other restaurants have that enabled in the app and you can actually call the restaurant and they can actually cancel it from their end not sure why Arby’s don’t have that set up.RawrImAngry2Version: 4.1.5
Coupons?UPDATED REVIEW: Restaurant added mobile ordering which was a big improvement BUT… COUPONS and DEALS PLEASE and actually have them and not an empty deals page! Once you add those it will be a very good app. ALSO, please follow the example of other restaurants like McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s that have unlockable food rewards. For example for every so much you spend you get points which can unlock free food. If you want me to eat at Arby’s more then do this otherwise I’ll eat at these other places which value me as a customer more than you do.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: The restaurant is fine as I love the food. But 3 Major Issues: 1:) No option for mobile ordering - This is a must for a restaurant app and without it this app is useless. 2:) No Coupons / Deals - Your Arby’s app hasn’t had any coupons for a long while now rendering this app useless. Most other places have coupons / rewards. Why don’t you? Stop being greedy. 3:) No Rewards Program - The more you spend the more points you can accumulate to get free food. I suggest Arby’s Corporate study the apps from Wendy’s and Burger King to see how a restaurant app should be done. Because your current app is pathetic..Superman2340!Version: 3.2.9
PointlessArby’s is one of my favorite restaurants, love their food. This app is not my favorite, in fact it is hard to imagine that the same Arby’s that puts some much attention into the quality of their food, not only put their name on this app, but apparently paid somebody to develop it.
What is the point of an app for a restaurant? If it were my restaurant & app it would be to make it easy for customers to eat my food. Sadly, this app doesn’t do that. There are only three things this app does and it does them all poorly, First, it claims to help you find an Arby’s near you, Siri of course can do this and when an app makes you wish you had used Siri to located a restaurant instead of downloading the app. That is a fail. Two it shows pictures of some of Arby’s menu. But why not show the whole menu? Even better, would be to let me order Arby’s deliciousness and pay for it from my phone. Like every other restaurant app does. Note to Arby’s, download any of your competitors apps, and use them (it isn’t being disloyal, if it will help you fire the developer & blow this app up). Finally, the app provides coupons that I don’t need or want and I could just as easily clip from the Sunday paper.
So please don’t download this app, and afterwards, enjoy the euphoric deliciousness that is an Arby’s roast beef sandwich with a side of absolutely mouthwatering goodness that is Arby’s curly fries, secure in the happy knowledge that I suffered and downloaded Arby’s app and saved you from the despair of actually seeing the Arby’s that we love so much, actually have their logo which we have come to know represents wholesome goodness and extraordinary quality on an app this terrible..Levi AbbottVersion: 2.0.8
App seems to break if no nearby locations support online orderingOpen app for first time, then look at menu. Can’t customize sandwich toppings. Anything that offers a choice (side item, drink, 2 for $6) fails to load the choices; selection screen is blank.
Only after further poking around in frustration, did I finally discover how to search for a location, and learned that apparently no locations in Colorado support online ordering. Maybe that’s why the menu is broken, but you’d think the app would be smart enough to either make the menu function by itself since it doesn’t prompt you to choose a location first, or else force you to choose a location first before being able to access the menu.
It also would be much more helpful if the list of locations indicated which ones support online ordering. Currently you have to select a location just to see what happens, then go all the way through the ‘find a location’ process again just to pick another one, over and over until you run out of nearby locations without having found one that accepts orders, then delete the app out of spite for wasting so much of your time..Dogbert PrimeVersion: 3.1.5
It never worksThis app constantly has problems. The offered deals that require a purchase amount are impossible to redeem - no matter what you add to your cart, it will say that your items do not qualify for the offer. There is no rewards or loyalty program and you’re logged out of your account every single time you use the app, then they require two step verification to get back into the app, (which is ridiculous because it doesn’t store any payment information or have a reward program!) The absolute worst thing concerning the Arby’s app is that you have to go into the store to pick up your online order. There is no option to pick up your order curbside or through the drive-thru, so even handicapped people have to get out of their car to pick up their food. Alas, Arby’s customer service is nonexistent…you will never hear a word back from them no matter the comment, complaint or compliment. And the sandwiches have shrunk so much, (a regular roast beef looks like a slider and even a half pound sandwich is an ounce and a half short,) has made it very easy to skip this frustration and patronize other restaurants..Ben PumpinerVersion: 4.33.8
Poor Service Through AppI placed an order through the app… Just a few minutes later, I get a call saying the items I ordered were not available. I ask them to cancel the order and am hung up on, so I go to the restaurant. No supervisor available (on a Saturday night no less). First, I am told I have to cancel my order through the app… For which there is no option. Then I am told I have to call… Where I show the employee on the app that the phone number given is for the store I am currently standing in. Finally, I am given a 1-800 number to call to get a refund. I understand that sometimes products run out, but the store should have to verify product is available before confirming the order and taking the funds from my bank account. It should not take a 10 to 15 minute phone call at 10 o’clock at night to get a refund for something that is not my fault. This app has some issues that need to be fixed and I believe this is going to be the last time I will ever use the app for anything. I also will not likely be stopping at Arby’s again anytime soon..Ferrell84Version: 4.13.12
No Customer Service - Use At Your Own RiskThe basic functions of this ordering app are fine. Nothing too amazing, but mostly functional. However, the app and Arby’s have nothing in place for when something goes wrong. This means that if something happens you will end up having to fight for a refund, if you ever get one at all.
My evidence for this is my experience using the app for the first time. Placed the order, went to pick it up, turns out the store had technical problems and had to close early. Things like that happen. Unfortunately, my attempts to get a refund from Arby’s have all been unsuccessful as the limited Customer Support for the company directs me to the store, but they can’t issue a refund because payments through the app are processed by a 3rd party.
Sadly, this is a common issue with a lot of similar apps. Once again, the app works fine for the most part, but it has nothing built in for when things inevitably go wrong. A direct link from an order to customer support seems like an easy fix. Too bad it was left off the design table..A.BishVersion: 4.2.14
Bait and switch! This; concerning the store located on west Thomas, whose staff has been directed to not allow anyone, beside the names that are on each order, in which there is in NO indication of such on the Arby’s app! In other words this store has made up their own rules and set forth by (according to an employee) by their mgr; Karen Wagnor. It was explained to us this evening that this mgr had threatened her employees with their jobs if this inconsistency is not carried thru, putting THEM in the line of fire when customers show up and are not allowed the food they’ve ordered! The reason given to us was that this store had suffered fraud by certain customers so this mgr decided to make up her own rules! Then tells the employees not to “bother her” and to only give the hours she MAY be in the store! This system is egregious at best and ‘Better Business’ worthy at least!
We also intended to contact Corp. to advise if these “outside of the lines” business practices she’s put into play!
I’d like to add however that the employee handled the situation to our satisfaction, in which we are grateful!.Karena YMBVersion: 4.22.17
Delivery window issuesThere is an issue with the delivery window. When you go to make a delivery order you are forced to delete your cart and start your order over on a special delivery window. This delivery window has a back button at the top and an X. X is normally used as the close window icon however on this app on this window it’s actually the go back button. This is confusing and can be frustrating to use. If you accidentally hit the back arrow it will close out the entire delivery window and delete your entire order. It won’t even save the store you’d like to order from or your address. So every time your looking at a menu item and you want to go back to the delivery main menu if you press the back button or swipe the wrong way it goes back to the pickup version of the app instead of back to the delivery menu. I think this could be resolved by putting a pop-up window that says a more professional version of “hey your about to delete your order” with confirm or go back buttons but I’m not the app designer and i know whoever is will figure out the best solution. I do believe long term the delivery system should be integrated into the pickup order system. McDonald’s app does this. Chick-fil-a app does this. Taco Bell app does this. Wendy’s app does this. Even Carl’s Jr. app does this so I know it’s possible. Arby’s feels more premium than all of those from the food to the cleanliness of the facilities but the app’s lack of a unified pickup and delivery system makes the Arby’s app feel more than a little ghetto..TidoniusVersion: 4.20.17
TerribleTerrible app, constantly had glitches and bugs but I ignored them because at least it worked and usually if I opened and closed the app it would fix itself. Today me and a coworker attempted to order from the same location with the app. They put their order through just fine, a few glitches but it worked. However when I went to order I had no glitches until checkout, it wouldn't let me put my order through kept saying the location wasn't open during my scheduled time. I hadn't even picked a time yet and I wanted ASAP. It wouldn't let me select ASAP and it wouldn't let me pick a time.
If I selected schedule a time it would bring up a blank schedule and wouldn't allow me to drop the blank schedule or go back I'd have to close the app to fix the issue. Even after deleting, the app redownloading, signing out, signing back in, picking a different location, it still wouldn't work I rarely use the app yet it still managed to always have issues. I'd give it a 0 if possible.Lilg060Version: 4.39.5
Hit and MissApp not working. Keeps putting $0 value for items and crashes when I try to select items to pay. Can’t order from the store bc apparently the deals have to be ordered in app and is full price on store. Going somewhere else for lunch.
Previous experience: So Arby’s got the app to order food ahead of time. For the most part it works but whenever I use an app coupon and fulfill the requirements, it never works. I usually have to add way more items pass the minimum to get things to work or just randomly add and delete items to see if it will take. Incredibly annoying.
Also, I’m not sure if app orders cause employees to throw tantrums, but I ordered on the app while in the store to skip the guy at the register. He had a cow about it and announced it obnoxiously to all his coworkers that there is a customer ordering food on the app while sitting in the store. I have no idea why. Maybe he was just a douche and is upset he works at an Arby’s as a career..PholuvVersion: 4.13.12
They don’t even care…Ordered from the app. Showed up 30 mins later. Well outside of the time I was told to arrive. Show up and the door is locked because they’re short staffed, so I proceeded to the drive thru. I get to the speaker and let them know I’m here for a online pickup. They say back that there’s nothing showing for any mobile order, despite me having a confirmation email. She tells me to pull around to the window. After waiting 15 additional minutes waiting to get to the window, I’m then told there that there is no order, and they could not make it without me paying again even though I was charged. I then called customer service to try and fix the issue. When I spoke to the rep, she hurried me through the refund process without even trying to save the order and quickly ended the call. The lady I spoke to sounded like she does this exact function all day. Disappointing. They say they got the meats, but I cry foul! Where’s the beef? 😒.Scarbys SourVersion: 4.1.4
Useless AppI should have read the reviews first. I thought, hey I might order from Arby’s if I had their app, I’m sure they can tell me which restaurants carry what I want and the hours they’re open.
OK, the app tells me the hours the restaurant near me is open if I go through the Search function, along with the address and phone number. But if I select it as my favorite, why must I go through the search function to see this information?
That’s it though.
The app tells me the full menu but doesn’t tell me if my favorite carries an item or not (but does caveat that they might not in FAQs). The Bell does this, why can’t Arby’s?
As many others note, you can’t order through the app. McD’s lets you order but won’t cook the food until you’re there. Sub lets you order and has it ready when you arrive. Not Arbys... Here’s why: Arby’s will run your debit card through the ATM network, bypassing having to pay the 12 cents (or more) fee for processing a credit card. It shows up in your bank history as a PointOfSale and may count as an ATM withdrawal, depending on your bank. You may end up paying your bank fees for the privilege of using plastic instead of paying with cash. If the app accepted payments, they wouldn’t be able to run it through the network. WM discovered this when allowing prescriptions to be picked up curbside and paid at your car instead of coming inside.
The app is useless, and now its in my cloud. I can delete it from my homepage, but it continues taking up space in my cloud....MNboundWalrusVersion: 2.0.8
App FYI - Improvement SuggestionAs stated in the title, this is more of a user FYI and developer improvement suggestion opposed to standard review.
The app does not auto locate the nearest Arby’s nor does it warn you about previous location used, and therefore it is pretty easy to make in order to the wrong location. Add to that the fact that the app does not have an option to cancel your order you were only left with two choices. You can drive to the location or do you have to call the location to cancel the order. If you were able to do so, the store will only be able to not make the order. You will have to contact Arby’s customer support to convince them of your need for a refund.
While I realize that this scenario can be avoided the app actually create a situation to where you are set to fail with no immediate actionable recourse.
It would be preferred to locate Arby locations within your area, but just as well not have the app. Remember, the last location used and or have a built in ability to cancel the order.
Also along the lines of app improvement, it would be useful to be able to modify your order in such a way that you can choose a regular bun as opposed to an onion roll.
If these things were present, this app would be at least a four-star given the ease of utilizing the app to create your order..YeeHawWangVersion: 4.11.3
Not worth the hassleAttempted to use the app on Saturday to place a pickup order. Easy to enter and modify items into the shopping cart. One I got to checkout, I would get a notification that the location was closed after being able to pick it at the beginning. Delete everything, reboot app and start over. Next problem, get to enter credit card information and it won’t let me enter last name after entering first name. Then tried Apple Pay, it kept telling me my address was incorrect even though it matches everything. Went to place the order online through my husbands account because I was getting more errors on my online account. Was in such a fluster by this point I missed entering my discounts. Get to the location, food isn’t ready, told to park and they’d bring it out. After waiting 10 minutes, my husband goes in and gets the food. The order was correct but not worth all of the hassle..Memama9501Version: 4.43.3
Horrible implementationThis implementation of an online ordering system is horrible… For example, if the store is open till 1 AM and you place an order at 11:49 PM and the order time and pick up says ASAP and you submit order and drive the 5 miles to the store all of a sudden it changes to the next opening time on the store. Also you can't choose a drive-thru pickup option, even if the store has the lobby closed. You also can't choose to add or remove ice from drinks on the order so when you show up to pick your order up, the store gets upset if you don't want ice in the drink because they already have the drink ready and they have to dump it and make a new drink. Also, if there is an issue with finding the order, you don't even have an option to cancel the order if it was paid for in the app. If these things get fixed, along with what others are suggesting, I'll change my review points..Jkbff24Version: 4.29.7
App never works rightThis app seems totally abandoned by the developers… yet they release special pricing and things through the app. In the 3+ YEARS I keep trying to use it I have only managed ONE successful order to go through ever. It always declines my payments which never makes sense. No matter how I try to input it or whatever card or debit I use, it will never work and the money is there for sure! Also constantly keeping outdated coupons in the deal section is weird. I will check and the coupon will be posted AFTER the expiration date so it was never usable at all anyway. It makes no sense. I wanted to get the special pricing recently from the app and they will not honor it in person without paying through the broken app so I just went elsewhere. I’ve managed to avoid going here for years now because they won’t take my money. But I’d love to actually order through the app and it work..Asdcp9Version: 4.15.19
Makes it almost impossible to order deliveryLog in, start order, it immediately prompts you to choose delivery. But if you do that, it takes you to the website instead of the app where you have to log in again. Anything you’ve added to your cart is no longer there. Any deals you have are not available on the website. And it adds a delivery fee that isn’t mentioned in the app. If you go back to the app and choose pickup, it again prompts you to select delivery. If you decline and do pickup, you can access your deals. I genuinely don’t understand why you can’t do delivery in the app. Why does it take you to a different site? Why isn’t my cart saved in my account? Why don’t these two options speak to each other on the back end like they should? It’s so frustrating that I just decided to order from somewhere else..JadedMindVersion: 4.26.4
No iPhone 6 Facebook login support?Tried twice to create account on iPhone 6 by clicking the Facebook login and the choose restaurant does not allow a selection during signup. Tapping the field anywhere across that section has no response. So the signup button never enables. Can not go past it. Who designed this? Frustrating
Tried again using just email and not the easier Facebook login route. This time I was able to select a location but it would not allow me to create the account because it said my email was already in use. Most likely from the Facebook login attempts which never actually completed. Dumb
Created a new email to login to the app and got all the way in just to see a screen that says no offers available at this time check back later. What is the actual point of this app? Most people get some kind of signup reward or at least access to some money saving coupons. This was a waste of time..Educated HumanVersion: 2.0.8
The app is crapThis app allowed me to order at a restaurant that was closed at 6 pm… made me pay with CC for a pickup order… when I got to the store at the scheduled 8:20 pm time, the store was closed… found out the next day that the store closed at 6 pm (I created the order after 6 pm)… then the next day I ordered from an Arby’s about 5 miles away instead of the one closest to me, the order then cost an extra dollar and 40 cents… but it gets better, the order I didn’t receive the day before was paid by my bank “I NEVER RECIEVED THE FIRST ORDER”… When I called Arby’s to complain, the customer service agent threw up an apology but didn’t have any real concern doing it, like reading a script. As I was telling her the issue she repeatedly interrupted me, then said my money would be refunded in a few days… I WILL NEVER USE THIS APP, NOR WILL I SHOP AT ARBY’S… THEY DONT CARE, THEY BARELY FIX THE ISSUE AND FROM THE ATTITUDE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY DON’T REALLY GAF ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS.LoswatcherVersion: 3.4.4
App is a joke and not a funny oneI went to my local Arby’s to get the latest deal advertised on TV. The cashier said I needed a coupon. I asked where I would find such coupons and she said on the app. Ok, so I now have the app and the only coupons available are ones that have to be used with an online order. My Arby’s doesn’t do online orders. So I called customer service to see if I could get coupons mailed but before I could even ask that question the CSR asked what location I was calling about, and when I told her she put me on hold and transferred me to the location. GRRRR. So I tried calling customer service back and my call is now automatically transferred to the local Arby’s.
I love their food but this experience has been anything but pleasant.
And I now have an app that may work in the future if I am traveling somewhere that accepts online ordering or maybe not..Bichonmom2233Version: 4.37.6
First try at Arby’sI almost gave up without a sandwich or other purchase as I couldn’t get app to work. Then a fellow said try closing everything and trying again. Then it all loaded and seemed to be working but when I ordered the $1 fries, I had to pay for the sandwich. I tried several times, entering things in different order till I concluded you could not take advantage of more than 1 deal. When I removed the fries, and added a shake, then the sandwich was free again. Good thing it was an off time or I couldn’t have stood there fiddling with this for over 30 minutes. I said to the man that someone should be here who knows how this works because this is going to be on all month and if nobody can help the seniors who eat here, there are going to be many disgruntled people. This is almost as bad as the Wendy’s app, which never works nor do any of workers there know how to do it..Gyro girl 2Version: 4.22.17
Can’t loginI can’t login on my iPhone. I’ve tried everything. Deleting the app and reinstalling, creating a new account with a different email, removing pop up blocking… nothing works. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. It’s the only fast food app I can’t access on my iPhone. Maybe it’s because the login takes you to a webpage? I can, however, access my account on my desktop. In fact, I can login to all three emails I tried using on my phone. Weird huh? And, no, I’m not going to try using my Apple ID or my Facebook to login, I don’t do that. And, why should I? It should work with my email. It should work just like literally every other fast food app. And yet, it doesn’t. I guess I’ll just have to print my deals out on paper and bring them in to an arby’s and have them just look at me like I’m stupid or something. Or maybe Arby’s should hire a different app developer..TonyamabilecptVersion: 4.2.18
Leaving Arby’sI have been a loyal fan of Arby’s for many years, in fact due to where I work I went a minimum of one to two times a week. I was excited over the possibility of earning rewards for my loyalty. However, I am unsubscribing because all of the specials I am notified about are only available to those who choose to order online. I visit the restaurant because it’s clean, the staff is helpful and friendly and I want a break from my daily responsibilities. It’s like “Cheers” where everyone knows your name and treats you like a friend. I feel cheated that if someone is willing to do the work themselves they get great discounts and even free sandwiches. This is discriminatory and I can no longer support Arby’s. If your plan is to turn Arby’s into a self service pick up food location I hope it works out for you, just don’t call yourself a restaurant anymore..Wissore5Version: 4.39.5
Gonna lose me as a long time customerThis app is almost akin to a 2010 app in that it doesn’t have really anything but a static page showing a menu. No deals are EVER posted in the app itself, you have to wait for an email, sign in multiple times just to get the deal added and it’s only good for a short time. ::thumbs down x 2:: McDonalds and Burger King always have deals posted within the app and doesn’t require you to constantly sign in every time you want to do something; this is a food app, not my bank. I always first look at the 2 above mentioned apps for deals and 90% of the time will go spend my money there. Oh and did I mention the lack of a rewards campaign? McD’s and B.K. have them and I’ve already taken advantage of them; def makes me feel like I’m a valued customer..Loco_EseVersion: 3.6.4
