The app asks people to give a 5 star rating with the promise of extra coins so beware that the high rating is false. Just like their false advertisements on social media pretending a book is complete when it’s not. Ridiculously expensive, app deletes coins constantly, advertises daily updates that never happen. Also, the app has no problem deleting negative comments on Jessica Hall’s stories (I know they aren’t based out of USA, but I know many countries have laws against fake reviews and deleting negative comments so they can rake in more $ falls under that)- well, they deleted a lot of them up until they stopped allowing writing or viewing comments on ONLY her stories because people were getting fed up with how much they paid just for constant excuses of no updates and a storyline that fell apart. But she is a cash cow for them so they want to keep the false pretense up for new comers. App blames the authors, authors blame the app. Yet they all rake in big $ for unedited, unfinished stories and the app responds on here with the maddening copy and paste reply. Just beware- unless you want to take a couple of years trying to earn enough vouchers to finish a single story, don’t bother. To pay over $100 for an amateur book where they all start to sound alike is absurd.
I started reading a book on this platform over a year ago that is only recently completed, which is highly annoying as someone who has read well over 70 full sized novels since January (without reading anything for about three or four months)😕 also, it’s incredibly expensive. I need to spend about $20 more to finish half the book after I already spent well over that the last time I installed this app and started the book. The grammar and spelling errors and overall forgetting words is difficult to look past as I have to reread to find the context clues to figure out who exactly is doing what as pronouns are often left out when they are needed. This one example among many many instances. Overall I will be deleting this app (again) once I finish the book.
EDITING: Changing my review - after opening a second ticket, this one was responded to and the coins were credited to my account. The only thing that stops me from leaving 5 stars at this point is that the chapters are quiet expensive - coins go quickly and sometimes the freebies you get daily aren’t enough to get through more than 1 chapter if you don’t want to continue spending money. After more consideration, as long as I don’t continue encountering issues with paying for coins and not being credited for them if I decide to purchase more, I will be keeping this app. A lot of the books I’ve read so far on this app are very good. Their feedback tickets state 1-2 days for response and its been past that - they don’t respond to their own feedback option and instead just take your money. Will unfortunately be deleting this app once I finish the book I’m on and I will not be paying them for coins anymore until they can get these issues sorted out since it seems to be a common issue lately.
The stories are good but the books as a whole are very expensive. I’m hooked on one, and have spent more money on half the story then I have for 4 brankd new hard copies. I had the app and swore I’d never get it again for this reason but it’s almost a compulsion for me if a story sounds that good to get it. They have some free books listed and I have considered looking at the. My concern though is there teasers to get you hooked and honestly I can’t afford it. If you can afford it the stories are good and I’d say worth it. If you like me and counting to the penny I recommend waiting till your not😉. The stories are good tho. The quality of writing is often superior to what I see on other “free platforms”. I do recomend bulk purchases if possible it’s more cost effective and your not left hanging. Best wishes.
I see now how this app gets all the 5 star ratings. If you want more vouchers to get further in the book you have to give it 5 stars. It’s not an awful app but it’s very hard to like it when books by very known authors are cheaper than these books. Their fun reads but not worth $20-$40 if not more for these. It’s a rip off. Having to pay for every chapter and very very short chapters I might add. I already paid $5 and it got me hardly anywhere in the book and wants more to try and finish the book. That’s pretty harsh how you guys get people and having them pay for books that don’t even cost close to these in book store and other apps. It’s a shame. Shame shame.

I enjoy being able to support authors that are aspiring and learning, which is exactly what this app allows you to do. There are spelling, grammar, and other errors abound, but if you’re able to read past that, then there are some fantastic stories that are entertaining and original. I like how this app allows you to edit or comment, whereas similar apps don’t have this feature. It’s fairly expensive for what it is, but I try and tell myself that it’s all going to the author, which I am not super sure about. There have been some times I’ve tried to “top up”, or replenish the funds in the app, and it didn’t work and the recourse to get my money back was so ridiculous and exhausting that I decided it wasn’t worth the $10 I lost anyway. It’s not the best app out there but it’s certainly a decent one and I would recommend it to those who are willing or passionate to play copy-editor.
It’s okay if you get one good story out of it but if you already have kindle unlimited it just won’t feel worth it. For example, I paid almost $30 for a 3 book series. Now that almost sounds like a good deal. Here’s the kicker! That series was basically half a good book when it was all put together. The story I read was pretty good but it needed A LOT of editing. Some paragraphs I had to piece things together and many words had hyphens in them that didn’t need hyphens. That was weird. I’ve finished my series/book/story and I want to give this app a good try. The earning coins/vouchers thing I don’t really understand. I don’t know if I’m earning enough. Seems like a rough process. Like working working pennies. I’m going to give it one more story. Wish me luck.
This book was a page turner I was scrolling on fb and saw what looked like a extra long post then I discovered it was a page or two from a book that caught my interest I work over nights I thought to my self this should keep me awake I have the kindle app that has unlimited books but I haven’t used it in a while so I down load this app and every other chapter I had to pay so this app is far from free the book was good but the amount of money I spent was unexpected I will be deleting this app it’s not for me and I’m a book reader but my unlimited kindle app will do just fine. On top of that I couldn’t tell if the book changed or was I reading a different chapter
High rating may not truly reflect the app. If you leave a review, you get bonus coins to be able to read more chapters. Like most apps, I’m sure it goes quickly especially if you’re like me and read a chapter quickly. I feel these apps shouldn’t make you buy coins to read, or at least give a few chapters at a time with the coins earned and allow for readers to at least have to watch some commercials for a decent pint of coins. Like maybe a coin per second or something to make it fair. Or offer a free trial and then charge a monthly membership after that.
I have never been much in reading because I could never find the books that I liked. Well I have now found the books that I LOVE to read. My phone hasn’t been put down in days and with that I’m addicted to these stories. What makes this bad is that after so much reading you run out of points and the only way to really continue is by purchasing which can get expensive really. Thankfully my hubs reigns me in because I would probably spend a lot of money on here. I do want to add though that some of the stories you can tell are translated because not all of the translations make sense but other than that I have still enjoyed it!
I love reading all these books I have read so fair. They all have caught my interest the only thing that bothered me that should be improved was how you would have to pay for things in order to continue reading after a certain amount. There are people like me who love to read books and stuff but do not have the money to pay. I think that should change or at least let it where we can watch a video or something for those who can’t pay to get everything so that they can read the stories. Other than that I love this app and reading the stories but that’s the only thing that makes me not want it
I’ve had no problem spending my money to get coins and vouchers. Every time I get paid I always buy the 9.99 bundle because I like to have the coins and vouchers there just in case I find a book I want to read instead of waiting for unlocked chapters. So today I go to earn my rewards and imagine my surprise when I open app more than 1500 vouchers just gone and over 6000 of MY coins gone with no explanation. I really love this app but that’s my money you took. If they don’t fix this I’ll be deleting this app and put my money in Dreame app. At least they don’t take my money!!! So disappointed
Don’t waste your time downloading this app. Every chapter costs 180 coins, no matter what book it is. They do have ways of “earning” coins/vouchers but it will take you around two days to earn enough to read 1 very short chapter. If you want to buy coins you can but because each chapter costs so much you have to have a lot of coins/vouchers. The book I started would have cost me $50+ to read. There is no way I’m paying $50+ dollars to read any book much one with typos and bad grammar. To each their own but I thought I’d save you the wasted time.
Great Stories, Need Editors and better translators. If I had the time I would correct every other paragraph, but I just correct the one’s translated so poorly they don’t even make sense. Also, it’s a very high price to read these books compared to books wrote by established authors, that really confuses me? Also, some books are almost identical across these types of apps with small changes in names and settings being the only difference... obvious plagiarism? Even though the rules say they won’t published plagiarized books?? Idk, too many questions, not enough answers or ways to make contact.
I absolutely LOVE this app. The only downside is that the stories cost so much to read, so i spend a month earning my rewards and then i can read more chapters for my book.. but it’s totally worth it. If i wasn’t broke id probably top up more often, BUT then again probably not, cause it costs me more money to read a book on the app then it does to buy an actual book. Also, requiring a 5 start rating for 60 vouchers to read on is stupid... it should be “vouchers for rating” if i could id give it a 4 star because of the cost of the books. But a girl needs her vouchers.
So I’m gonna start off saying that this app could have some improvements done to it. First off while I appreciate the correct button where I can submit corrections, I’m here to read not edit. Also while I like the task to where I can refill my vouchers but I also feel like maybe they could also incorporate where a free chapter unlocks every couple of hours... I feel like maybe there would be more readers if you didn’t have to pay to try and get through a book
Really surprised at how it is a good app. One thing that I’m not too happy about is that it is expensive for the points or whatever it is they use to pay for the chapters. I know of cheaper ones that have awesome books too. But I found this one book that I couldn’t find anywhere else which was sad because I have so many of these apps just for a book here and a book there. It’s like I spends $20-$30 on 2 1/2 books and to me it’s steep but I had to read the book because it was good.
The app is good and has a lot of books to offer. The books are great. The downfall is that you have to either wait and only read so much each day or you are forced to pay to keep reading. It wouldn’t be a big deal except the prices are ridiculous. I don’t spend that much on brand new hard cover books. The other downfall is they have books that are unfinished listed which left me wanting to read more but unable. Overall good but has its flaws.
Im addicted to it and can’t stop reading .It’s great I just wish I didn’t have to spend much money I think it would be better if coins and vouchers would refill after some time. I’ve spent $20 on one book and I’m afflicted because I love the story and am addicted. There is a reward system that is pretty nice. Also how an episode for 102 coins/vouchers is high when you only start of with about 300 or 600, and have to buy more to actually play you can get some by checking in but you’d have to accumulate them over time.
I got the app to have something new to read… and the stories have been great!! On the other hand, the free part of the book gets you hooked as a reader and then you end spending money to get the rest per chapter. It was not posted anywhere on the fact that it’s an amount per chapter that I could find (anyway). I hope that gets corrected soon or just make it a flat amount for the remainder of the book after the teaser chapters.
I like the app and the stories however, they are expensive to read. Most apps you can earn points to read for free but this one is not as easy to do that. I wish it was a little cheaper but overall, I still am reading books that hook me. The daily check-in awards barely assist you in reading one chapter a day. Each chapter is very expensive. You could buy the hard copy for a lot cheaper.
This app asks for people to rate it 5 stars for coins. If you don’t like paying for chapters l, then this app is not for you. The stories are great but when it 180 icoins or higher for one small chapters it’s ridiculous. If you have money to blow it’s fine but if not be prepared to earn coins to get only a few free chapters for months just to finish one book. I’d rather buy the whole book.
Costs a bit overall stories are good
Translations are confusing sometimes but I kept reading! I hate having to wait for vouchers to continue reading and that’s why I didn’t give 5 stars
Doing this just for the bonus It’s a decent app but the cost to get more point costs abit
Like most book apps you need coins but this seems fairly easy to get points and the layout is nice and the reading is smooth. I like it a lot so far.
I have been on this app for a year now. I love the reading material. Grammar can be look at before posting. But I would figure out what word is suppose to be there.
Awesome app love it
It’s a good app if you want to pay for chapters!!
Fff
Woot. Bonus. Decent story I’m reading wannna finish
Great authors some exclusive to app, frustrating that you have to click get to get your coins tho they don’t auto deposit
I like the variety in authors and the ease of reading - only issue is the pricing, when you think about how much we spend to read a full novel, it’s like purchasing several books just for one series.
Just installed app and don’t have a review yet
Books are easy to find, but these rewards are hard to find as I am supposed to have collected 196 coins and 6 vouchers or is that 196 vouchers but all I see is 6 vouchers where did all the others go?
It’s very good but super expensive
God stories, need a better way to continue reading without spending a fortune.
I’m doing it just to earn 60 coins Otherwise the app is too greedy 180 coins per chapter and not too many free coins or you would have to watch lots of ads Too bad because the stories are good
I wish the books were a bit cheaper but otherwise interesting stories
Easy to navigate.
Would be nice if you could buy the whole book at once The charge for all the chapters it a bit much
It’s good but honestly for a free app I’m tired of having to constantly pay.
Good app just don’t like constantly paying wish I could buy whole book at once
Just started using but looks good so far!
Ig its alright, just not fond to having to get coins or buy them haha TvT
Would be nice if it wasn’t so expensive for each chapter.
Very cool
Good books. Love it.
Happy for reading Cassidy Knight story so far
Love this app!
Good time passing.
Great app easy to navigate. Some really great books to read.
Awesome books inside and easy to navigate
Awesome
Doing for the voucher
IReader-Story, Novel & E-book Negative Reviews and Ratings
I got into a book and decided since it was one of the few well written books with few errors that it was worth a little money. I bought 6000 coins which was a little over $10 US. Even with the coupons, free coins for reading for certain amounts of time and bonus vouchers it was not enough to pay for one incomplete book. That’s way more than I would pay on kindle or in a book store for a paperback. They need to increase the ways to earn more vouchers and coupons, or reduce the chapter cost to a competitive price. With the amount of amateur writers or writers without English as a first language, they need to open up more opportunities for readers to submit corrections and get decent rewards, like enough for a free chapter or something more enticing that would help the authors and the readers both. I’m fine helping out, but give me something more than a few measly coins and don’t limit me. Even though I keep finding decent stories to read, I am not paying that much for just one book that needs a lot of editing and improvement and that I have to wait for the ending through many days of single chapter updates. I read too fast for that and it is frustrating! I think the concept is great, but if they make it reasonable and affordable they will compete better in the market. Unfinished and unedited books should be WAY cheaper than the completed and edited books.
The app does have some good authors with great stories, but… too expensive. Also, recent app updates have issues. The updated banner never goes away, even if no updates on the books. It’s near impossible to read/write comments on stories now. For some authors, it’s a fun way to interact with them. It’s also a good way for the authors to gauge their readers enjoyment. But comments have gone way down since people may not know how to leave one after the changes. The final nail in the coffin for me though. I found a plagiarized book. Four plagiarized stories from four different authors in one book, to be precise. I sent the info to the in app feedback feature, and two months later, it’s still there scamming money out of people. I have a very low tolerance for plagiarism. I just waited until the books I was reading were completed, which the last one finished today, so now I can leave this app. There’s no integrity to earn money on plagiarized material.
While some of the stories are good, the cost isn’t. Telling readers that they can get i vouchers for ONLY 5 star ratings isn’t right. The developers should give out I vouchers for feedback and ratings of any kind. It’s very expensive to read an entire book, the chapters are very short compared to the cost. If someone does all of the daily tasks and then finds out that they didn’t “earn” enough to open the next chapter it’s super frustrating. Then add in that not only am I paying overinflated costs for the next few chapters, I’m also being asked to edit grammar/spelling with only one per day that actually earns me anything. Why not a tiered earning system? For instance, have your daily check in offer more rewards the more days you check in. So the first day you would get 1 “free” chapter, 2 free the second day, 3 free the third day etc, up to 30 days gives you 30 chapters. Also give an option to buy entire books for a substantial reduced cost over buying chapters.
I’m a totally blind student and I use VoiceOver on my iphone. Voiceover is a screen reader that is on the iphone for those who don’t know. I’m very disappointed With this app. I found an story that really drag my attention, but many buttons within the app are not accessible at all. Buttons are not lable correctly, which makes difficult to work with VoiceOver. I understand that I need to pay for books, but not even the option where I need to purchase for iCons or even getting free iCons is accessible with Voiceover. I wanted to purchase iCons to read a book that was interested to get, but at some point the app crash on me. This make me think if I pay for the story then the story will not be worth my money because it will not be accesible for me if other buttons don’t work correctly.I will really appreciate it if you could make this app accessible for Voiceover users. Hope you understand. Thanks so much!
The books are ridiculously expensive in this app. I started a book and then realized it would cost $50 to read the whole thing. $50!! I get they have to pay the author, but jeez! I have trouble paying $20 for a hardcover book. Most apps only charge a few dollars for a book. Maybe have in-app ads to offset the costs more so you can lower the amount of coins it costs for each chapter. You have to pay coins for each chapter, and the chapters are really short (only a few pages). I just read a chapter that was 3 pages and cost 180 coins. You can earn coins for free each day, but not enough to even read one chapter (for example, watching 6 ads for 6 coins each). You can also read for minutes and earn coins that way, but unfortunately the timer does not work. I read for 17 min and it only counted as 1 min… so obviously it is impossible to earn free coins that way. It is sad this app is so unaffordable because the books seem pretty good. They do have a TON of spelling and grammatical errors but it is still easy to read and the content is interesting. They have “discounts” if you buy bundles of coins… but it still is like $50 a book. No thanks. I’m thinking there are a ton of 5 star reviews because you earn free coins IF you give a 5 star review.
So I’ll start with the good. Lots of books to choose from. Free first 7 chapters or so on every book enough to see if you like it first. And a few ways to earn some vouchers to unlock chapters. Now for all the bad. So far I’m having a really hard time getting most of the ways to earn vouchers to work. An Example: I read today for 4 hrs yet it never even unlocked the 30 minute bonus. If you paid for coins so you can read a book your probably going to have to spend $50 for enough coins to unlock 1 book on this app. That’s a very expensive book lol. And the last bad I can think of is that a lot of these stories are not easy to follow. Punctuation and grammar is all wrong. But there are a few really good stories mixed in too. Just have to go through a few to find the good ones. This app is just ok. I like a few of the stories but there are much better apps out there that offer the same thing as this one.
The stories are very good but cost way too much money to finish reading them once you get started. For example I read about 3 chapter of this book off Facebook it was really good and had to know the out come of these characters. So got the app found the book and the first 5 chapters are free then the rest are locked up you must buy the other chapters. So I spend $9.99 thinking I have unlocked the whole book but no I have only unlocked the chapters to 57😬. Now I spend another $4.99 to unlock some more chapters and thinking that will get me to the end of the book but no it won’t I will have to probably spend another $4.99 to finish it. That’s is a lot of money for just one book, so unless you have the funding to buy these novels on this app I would highly suggest to NOT down load it and get hook on something you can’t afford.
Don’t do this! They advertised a book I got hooked on as free but after reading some of it they charged. It’s a good book so I paid then paid again and again. It was supposed to be a completed book so I paid more then boom the book is not done and the Arthur is supposed to update daily. It has been months now of checking several times a day to get a few pages a so called chapter that is added sometime in a day sometimes in a week and they seem rushed with the story sometimes going nowhere. Last chapter so disappointing. Sad reality is this would probably be one of my favorite books. But it’s been going on for 3 long months and is very pricey and even more frustrating. So I asked for my money back as I paid for something they do not actually have to offer as the book is not done and not updated on a regular basis and guess what no refunds. Yeah don’t do this!
UPDATE (july 19, 2021): (5 to 3 stars) I attempted to submit this as feedback but the feedback option repeatedly failed so… Same problem I mention in my original post below: I’ve read over 90 mins today but it says I’ve only read 42. Given the expense of the chapters (make no mistake, this is way more expensive than any print published book I’ve ever purchase – and these books are often unedited and have poor grammar – but I have willingly made several purchases for interesting storylines), I do have an expectation that the reading bonuses/iVouchers would work in a significantly more timely (and accurate) manner. This is a daily frustration. So if there’s a trick, please advise! **** Apparently the developers would like a 5-star review and then you receive extra vouchers. We shall see if that happens (it did!). My biggest issue is that the rewards for reaching don’t seem to work in any consistent way. I read for about 15-20 mins this afternoon and that wasn’t accounted for towards the vouchers. It would be great if that could be fixed. Or put a reward up that works without frustration maybe?
Honestly loving the app so far but i really wish the price to unlock the characters was lower 180 points for 1 chapter is a little high in my opinion. Also I just realized that there is an expiration date for your ivouchers witch is only a 7 day expiration time aka only available for 7 days witch is really bad since that ends up meaning if something happens and you accidentally miss a check in your screwed till your points get back on track witch I’ve yet to get to after having a emergency and forgetting to check in. This is insane!!!! The only reason I sill have the app is because of the book I’m reading I can’t find it anywhere else!!! Please change something either extend expiration date/get rid of it or lower chapter cost !!!
I’ve been using this app religiously to read books for the past year. And I pay into it at least once a week. I don’t know if it’s an issue with a recent a app update or what, but you can no longer tap on the chapter list & then tap the cover art, title, or author’s name to view a book’s comments/ratings once you’ve started reading a book. How are we supposed to leave feedback for the author after reading the book? Comments for other readers? Is that just not a thing anymore? The app can be buggy as is & it’s already expensive if you want to read a 100+ chapter book without interruption. Can you guys please fix this issue?
Found app on Facebook after I read a portion of a page of the book “bullied”. Pages were short, which isn’t too bad. Details were fine In that specific story but could be repetitive. I made it to chapter five but the “costs” to read each chapter were getting expensive. I never used money but I watched ads 6 times, liked the app on Facebook but to read ch 6 it was 160 vouchers and 20 coins. -.- The previous chapter was only 80 vouchers. I never spent a dime but surely enough I know I would have to soon if I kept reading cuz I’m a very impatient person. I’m sorry but for the 5 chapters I had read with the writing style of an amateur I could be on Wattpad instead.
I wanted to read a book I seen advertised on Facebook. I looked it up and its 180 coins per chapter once it gets to chapter 6 (the chapters are super short) and so it's broken up into 200 chapters which is a little less then 36,000 coins. If 3000 coins are 5 dollars..... I mean.... That is wag beyond standard book costs. I can read mass amounts of books on Kindle with my 10 dollar subscription. You can buy a full ebook for less then 10 dollars in general outright. Why would anyone pay this to read these small chapters? That's insane. Are people actually paying for this? Why? From amateur writers that self edit and write 500 words a chapter and make you pay insane amounts for the whole book? That's a no from me. It is unreasonable.
I had bought $15 worth of coins which is 9,000 coins and 2280 ivouchers and the next day I updated the app like always and all my coins were gone I send them the receipts and all my info they were suppose to get back to me in 1-2 days and I heard nothing from them, I then sent 3 more request to get my coins back, emailed them and messaged them on messenger and they finally told me to send receipts and my account info to make sure they didn’t get sent to another account but when I bought the coins they were added to the right account and I had bought coins the same way a few weeks before, I finally told them I just want a refund and still have not heard back. I do not recommend this app.
First I would like to start out with the fact that this app over extremely well written books, but it’s extremely overpriced even with the check ins available. I went in for my normal check in like every day and I only earned 12 vouchers and it’s 132 to read one chapter!!! I also then went to try and watch adds for the 72 i vouchers and it had been completely taken away and now only offering me 12! That’s a huge jump from 72. I can’t even read one chapter today and it’s extremely upsetting that I have to wait even longer to read the book. There should be better ways to earn vouchers to read then to have to pay.
I have several reading apps. They are all a little pricey and not up to snuff with books on iBooks or kindle. This is the only app I have ever gone out of my way to write a bad review on. I downloaded this app for a book marketed as complete. I soon found the book is not in fact close to complete. The chapters kept getting shorter and shorter until they averaged 2-4 pages per chapter. It takes coins to unlock each chapter. Then while reading the comments the author Jessica Hall actually told the people paying for her books to 'stop whining' because she has a lot of other things to do. I am all around disappointed and will stick to other apps after the coins I purchased run out.
UPDATE - After 3 months of trying to get answers on my feedback tickets my account has finally been restored. Upgrading feedback to a 3, average, as they were able to fix the problem but customer service is horribly slow to respond and correct issues. This app will one day steal the books you purchased and your coins. They will not respond to the Feedback Center. Email responses are few and far between and will ultimately fail to fix the issue despite sending proof of purchased in terms of receipts.
I bought a bunch of books from the app because they’re so good. I would also buy coins to unlock the chapters etc but because I couldn’t make an account, when I switched my phone I lost everything. It won’t let me make an account to save anything. So I refuse to download the app again until I can get back what I already invested in. I was very happy with my purchases and the unlocked chapters. Rarely do I invest in, in-app purchases but I decided to because it was that good. But I’m beyond disappointed that I’m unable to make an account to save everything and go back to those books. Now I have to start all over and load literally everything I invested in.
For some reason my old account was deleted and even looking it up on my new account there’s no trace of it. I spent around $20 on that account to finish a book and even then it only covered like five chapters that took me like three minutes to read apiece. Yes there are good stories on it, but not worth wasting your money. You can get more content and actually be able to read the full stories from cheaper apps. I understand that it goes to the authors but your ripping of consumers for different rates and not tell how much it will actually take to attempt to read whatever story your interested in.
I love the books on this app, but I find the purchase options aren’t that great. I personally purchased the weekly unlimited subscription for 9.99. I’ve gotten to the point it is making me purchase more i coins or I vouchers, which I don’t understand as I paid for the weekly unlimited subscription. This app needs to go to the same payment model as it’s sister app NovelWorld. Never had one issue with that app, other then the second book of a series wasn’t available on there yet. Please fix this app it could be a wonderful program.
Listen I love reading you guys have great stories. But it’s so expensive and you only get five chapters with most of them. If you decided to run ads instead or have some books free some you have to pay for like Wattpad, I would feel more obligated to spend the money but I don’t want to spend the money when Wattpad has been doing fine without forcing readers to pay for every single chapter. I bought a 7 book hard copy series for less then what I would pay for a full story on your app. It’s a little ridiculous and there’s no free way to get coins.
While the stories on this app are riveting, the cost to read them is astronomical. I would rather pay a single price for a book than have to top up every week to continue a story. I am sorely disappointed in the need to constantly fix the grammar in some of the translations. I’m not sure who does this, but often times I am too busy correcting the grammar to read the story. Correcting the grammar is highly encouraged as you get vouchers and points for doing so. This might be a personal issue for just me, but when I have to work to fix the translation, I lose interest in the story very quickly.
There is something wrong with this app. I can’t reach a point to let anyone know that the last update caused more problems than it fixed. There are free chapters to see if you want to read a book, but the prices for chapters are doubled up after that. Updated chapters when scheduled are delayed. They recommend you try to reload the book, but you have to pay for chapters or books again. Getting help takes time. Frustration builds quickly. Keep the app for the books you’ve already read or paid for. There are plenty free reading platforms out there. Just keep looking. Thirty dollars a book is too pricey for me.
Love the stories….just wish it didn’t cost cost much to unlock chapters. It discourages readers who are looking for good books to read for free. I won’t spend money and end up leaving stories half read bc I don’t have time to watch ads for coins, then sit and read. I’d rather read free fan fiction online, or go to the library it’s free and you get the whole book to read at your leisure even if you only have enough time to read for 5 min that’s 5 min of reading not 5 min of ads and still not have enough coins to unlock a chapter.
I read a few chapters of a book on a Facebook ad and was hooked. I had never heard of this app before but wanted to finish book. I spent $15 on “coins” to find out the book isn’t completed. From where the story is at, the book is missing SEVERAL chapters. I read through a few of the comments and it seems like other users have been waiting months for the book to be finished by the author. As an avid reader, it’s pretty frustrating to spend more on a book that’s not complete. (Especially since that’s the cost of most hard back books)
If you don’t want to pay ridiculous amounts of money for poorly written books, you have to do things like correct endless errors that appear to be text messages sent by 13-year-olds (like not knowing the difference between there/they’re/their or too/to/two or your/you’re, etc). Even then, you get another chapter or two and then you’re asked to pay to read further. Must be nice to have all your app users PAYING YOU to be your editors, and still putting out a woefully pathetic product. I gave it a few stars because a few of the stories have good plots.
Although the pages of the book that I read were interesting there are many glitches with the app. There is a problem with exiting out of ads. You can watch ads to receive ivouchers to open chapters of the book without spending money. The only way to get out is to restart the app which means you didn’t get credit for the ads. There is also a place to get ivouchers by spending time reading. Except that doesn’t work either. I won’t spend money to open the chapters since there were so many other glitches with the app.
Personally stating that as of today May 18th i found this app in an ad on facebook! I downloaded to complete a story called Your late love means nothing, and i got to chapter 8 and had to pay over $30-45 for coins to continue it!!! this is outrageous for a book !! Then i came to app store to read reviews and what i seen is grounds for a lawsuit, not only are you taking money from canceled subscriptions but you are not responding to customer service tickets or refunding money that dose not BELONG TO YOU !!! I have also seen that plenty of people even foreigners are enraged at this ! Its sad that we cant even read books without having to pay for it.
I get charged 4 times a month for an app that i dont used. I. Tried it once and deleted the app and canceled but continued to charge me for 11 months. Once is somewhat ok but to take money 4 times a month is outrageous. I’m am waiting for a review so i they can cancel my subscription such a money scammer
Problem 1: the cost is outrageous for unlocking chapters. Problem 2: It seems like the stories could be more AI written.
They keep splitting chapters up and you land up paying more for the book then if they left it the way the author wrote it. If you want reread an already purchased book often locked and you have repurchase it😡
I don’t really understand how the subscription works. The weekly one failed to give me any extra reading time. I couldn’t contact the seller. PayPal reviewed it and also didn’t let me claim against them. So I’m paid 14.99 for a week without benefits. It was very stating and a waste of my money.
I’ve had this app for a long time, spent lots of money on books and have a credit. I got a new phone so I tried signing in and it created me a New account. I can’t log out to fix it. Nothing. Their “customer support” sends you to a WhatsApp group chat where everyone just complains about stuff. No actual help to fix anything. 🤬
Ive been a reader for awhile now (couple years) and ive never seen this on your site and am shocked and upset. You have an author who uploaded several books stating they are the original author, but they are not. Plagiarism and book theft is a real problem and for you to allow that author to continue loading stolen books is terrible. Several of the books stolen and posted have already been legally lodged as her original work so for this said author to steal it and post is a terrible and disgusting to do. I hope you reach out to me and ask , ill gladly give you the info. Also the authors stolen from have been informed of this.
Need to fix the bugs. App frozen cannot access. Stories not loading
I like the story I’m reading but chapters are separated into 2-3 parts and everything costs to unlock. I’ll try to finish the story but won’t read another because it costs either too much to read or too much time to get enough vouchers to unlock each chapter.
It was good but now,too many ads
The app refuses to play any ads. The commercial starts then aborts immediately or I get the message that « there aren’t any ads, check back later » It takes shutting down and reopening repeatedly to get an ad.
I’ve read over 100 chapters of a book with this app. Don’t get me wrong the books are great. However the bugs in the application are horrible. It takes me several attempts to purchase coins to the point where I get frustrated enough to just leave the apps closed. If I wasn’t so invested in the story I am reading I would have deleted the app.
I don’t mind buying books but having to pay to continue a book after you get to chapter 5 is kind of disappointing since it never said this anywhere. And you can’t use ivouchers (the things that you can “earn”) nope you have to use icoins and the only way to get those is through cashing. Removing app and not coming back. Will just buy books outright from sites.
Very upsetting! I start a good story then I have to pay to read anymore of it. Like really!! Not a good app at all unless you like having to pay just to read. Not an app I’ll keep at all!!
Stupid having to pay to read books or earn vouchers that take forever to add Don’t like this app
It is appalling to charge the amount you do for one simple book. One book which I didn’t finish because I noticed all the charges on my credit card cost me well about 70$…. This is disgusting considering even well known books sell for max 20-25 bucks. I honestly would appreciate some form of refund and think your company truly needs to stop commenting that the pricing is being evaluated to try and save a reputation which I noticed has been the same comment for a long time … perhaps a fair fixed pricing for a full book is something to consider as this is truly thievery.
Does this app even work?? Cannot even get it to open
Outrageous amount of money to read the books the vouchers get you no where. Waste of time.
