I know things cost but it said several times, continue reading this story for free, and then when I got the app it said pay for a monthly membership for access of anything. So false advertising. Then I did cause the trial was super cheap, and I used applepay like normal. And the subscription can only be cancelled with them on the app, not in my settings and apple subscription which considering every other app does it that way Which I find suspicious. Like everyone else does it that way. They make you wait a day until you can cancel. Stories are fine though. Nothing wrong with the app.

I honestly didn’t expect to get this invested, but wow — these books completely pulled me in. The stories kept me hooked from the beginning, and I found myself thinking about the characters even when I wasn’t reading. The pacing was great, the twists felt natural instead of forced, and the emotional moments actually hit. What I appreciated most was how real everything felt. The characters weren’t perfect, which made them believable, and the writing made it easy to picture everything happening. I stayed up way too late saying “just one more chapter” more than once. Definitely books that stick with you after you finish it. Easy 5 stars from me.

I signed up to read this book I got caught into and wanted to finish the story, when I went to cancel subscription there is no option in the app and I was furious thinking it was going to be a problem, well my wife reads all the time and she taught me something, go to settings on your phone then under your name at the top click that, and there you are going to see a subscription tap and that’s where you can cancel your subscription and any other subscriptions you my have… I learned today 😊

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This story had me hooked from beginning to end. The suspense kept building with every page, and the ending honestly caught me off guard in the best way. The characters felt real, and the emotions throughout the story made it easy to stay invested. “The Last Page in the Will” did an amazing job mixing mystery, drama, and emotion all together. I couldn’t stop reading because I needed to know what was going to happen next. Definitely one of those stories that stays on your mind after you finish it. Highly recommend!

I attempted to purchase the bio membership through PayPal, but each time I’ve tried, it’s “failed” but when I try to do it through Apple Pay it doesn’t. Not sure if it’s because PayPal option has a discount for the first week (2.99) and Apple Pay which is more (6.99). It’s been doing it for the past month.

PLEASE READ!!! I only gave it 5 stars for it hopefully to land on the front page, it’s a very mediocre app that lies saying it’s free. You get a couple chapters free but then you have to pay vip and even if you don’t you have to watch a million adds. That most of the time don’t even actually boost your ticket and you have to watch multiple times actually unlock one chapters in other words it’s a mediocre app.

The stories that I come across on this site have a good kind of different feel, I read part of the story on a different platform, and I ALWAYS have to finish so I subscribe to the free trial or pay because it these stories touch you in all the right ways, I haven’t came across any other content that do that.

So far, so good! It’s been better than most of the reading apps I’ve used in the past. It’s not full of pop up ads every single chapter AND I’ve been able to get enough points to read 10 chapters worth of a book in one day. Let’s just hope it stays that way

I started this way because that’s exactly how I feel anytime if the day or evening I could pick up a novel from here and just relax. often times the writers that I read from our engaging captivating taking my mind where I would never have thought to Go. So if you’re looking for.

The layout is clean, easy to navigate, and the selection of novels is impressive — from romance and fantasy to mystery and adventure. I love how smooth the reading experience is, with no annoying ads or glitches. Definitely a 5-star app — highly recommend to all book lovers!

I enjoy the stories however outside of the misspellings and sometimes confusing me because the character names are switched up I get lost and have to go back thinking I missed something that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5

I absolutely love the assortment of books this pack has to offer. So many different genres outside of what I normally read. I can’t seem to stop reading anything that comes across the page. Thank you for the work so many have accomplished in adding to this collection.

If your into smut like me you will love this app the only downside to it is that you have to buy to read the full thing I wish they made it so we could just watch a bunch of ads and finish the book without paying money

The stories here on Novelpack are amazing stories to read. They really have you on the edge of your seat. I’ve been sitting here reading stories back to back, but there’s too many ads that y’all are having us watch.

If you like intense books on the go and erotica type material, this is for you. Mind you in my embarrassing if it’s reading aloud and out headphones disconnect and other nearby can hear! Oh well it’s very entertaining for me.

The app is good, with good stories and it’s not like other apps where you have to pay everyday to read. You only have to pay once a month which is nice and you get bonuses too from various things on the app.

I love the short stories!!!! There is a lot of them so you won’t get bored! I just wish that you didn’t have to pay weekly or yearly wish they were free or have us watch a small clip in between the stories.

I found this app through a tiktok video and I'm not embarrassed to say I love the stories so, so much. They're fun to read and keep me lured in until the end. My only complaint is that they're so short.. I'd love if they were longer!

One story is very very interesting and it’s pretty nice it’s not overly cringy (I cannot speak for the other stories ngl I found out about this on instagram but this one is very interesting and sweet it’s like a “iseaki” ig one or maybe not but it reminds me of 13 going on 30 it’s fun

This app is a bit buggy sometimes but other then that pretty ok i dont like have sometimes you have to watch a ad to get to the next chapter but at least is free

Shorts is quick reads & enjoyable. Makes you feel as if you’re reading books quicker and getting to the point even faster, which is great.

I love this it’s cheaper to watch the videos takes more time but I wish that by watching the videos it would be more chapters unlocked per video.

They don’t allow visitor accounts to cancel the subscription, but what I think is weird is that you’re not allowed to cancel as a visitor but they don’t mind charging a visitor. I would just recommend anyone wanting to use the app to create an account, the app won’t tell you to create one, I think that’s how they’re scamming people out of their money, especially because once you subscribe it doesn’t show up under your subscriptions on the App Store. You can cancel the account on the app itself under VIP. When I tried to do that, I got a message on the screen saying ‘Cancellation doesn’t support visitor accounts’. If that’s the case, then they would make sure everyone makes an account automatically. But the reason they don’t is to scam people out of their money. I stopped reading the book I saw an ad on after a few chapters, it got real cliche after that but if it’s for you, then definitely create an account first. They also have a 30 day cancellation window, im assuming they won’t cancel the account unless you’re had it for at least 30 days, I just did this myself so heads up on that. I’ve never seen a reading app do this, it’s extremely sketchy. Download at your own risk.

This app is a total scam. If you read through the reviews, you’ll see that many people are experiencing the same issue — being charged for payments they never authorized after a misleading “trial” or promotional subscription. Most users pay less than a dollar for a one-week subscription, only to find themselves automatically enrolled in recurring charges. What’s worse is that this happens even with visitor accounts, which give you no way to manage or cancel your subscription or contact the company. The charge also doesn’t show up under the same name listed in the App Store, making it even more confusing. If this happens to you, report it through PayPal (or your payment provider) right away and unlink the payment to stop future charges. A quick Google search shows many others dealing with the same problem. The app itself isn’t even well built — definitely not worth the trouble.

I was only planning to keep my subscription for a week to try it out but I found a book that I was really into. Well I wanted to keep going with my subscription so I renewed it, the day before my week trial ended and all of the chapters locked back up.i went to check to see if maybe I bought the wrong subscription and I bought the regular $9.99 subscription so I thought that was the problem so I upgraded my subscription to the VIP but that didn’t work either. So here I am 4 days later with pending subscriptions and no way to unlock more chapters because every time I try to purchase coins or another subscription the app tells me I’m already subscribed but I can’t keep reading. I’m so disappointed because I can’t get a hold of anyone to help me.

There is no customer service either. Also most of the books have the same main characters (Grace and Antonio) and the same books are posted several times under different titles. I used PayPal and this doesn’t even show up under their subscriptions tab so you can’t cancel it. It doesn’t show up under subscriptions in the App Store either. This is one of the worst app experiences. At least all the other apps like this give you the option to cancel your membership.

I wanted to try out the app and purchased a $1 fee for the week to see how I liked the stories. I was not as impressed and wanted to stop the payment for the next week. Lo and behold you can’t do that on this app. I had to call my bank to stop the payment because there is no button to cancel recurring payments on the app. Please be careful utilizing this app and make sure to read how to stop your payment if you choose to go ahead with the payment. This app needs to actually have a button to stop the recurring payments if you want to or at least show up in the recurring payments for Apple Pay. It’s super shady not to have these functions.

Currently reading a story and have watched several videos to gain points, however I am unable to use them to read and have to watch videos to read every chapter. Also, the advertisement you all are running and graphics for Novel IQ titled “Backseat With My Step Daddy” is absolutely disgusting and disturbing! A graphic photo of a pregnant woman lying in bed next to another man with her step father on top of her having sex is inappropriate to say the least. I have selected that I’m not interested in seeing it and it still shows up. If I continue to see it I will be uninstalling this app.

It seems like a pretty good app. I don’t see why they make you pay more on Apple Pay compared to when you use PayPal, that’s weird. And there should be something to help identify books that are done and those that aren’t. I spent 20 minutes refreshing my wifi and the app thinking it wasn’t working but it was just the story that wasn’t done yet. Like the next chapter hasn’t been written yet; but it presented itself as “Network” issues

I only wanted to subscribe to read one book and normally I’ll read the reviews on an app before I do that but I didn’t this time and everyone is right when they say this app makes it DIFFICULT to unsubscribe. Customer support is also completely useless. The books are written poorly and are all very similar in storyline and plot. It’s not worth getting STUCK in a subscription with NO WAY to cancel it or know for sure if it’s cancelled or not. This is a HORRIBLE app and I’m sure there are better reading apps than this one. Don’t bother downloading this app.

Although I tried the trial discounted week, I think that the cost of weekly subscription is really expensive for an e-book. I also have to scroll to go back to the page I left off on. It doesn’t have a bookmark option and does not autosave where I had left off. Other than that, the reading content is pretty good so far. I just wish they had some free reading options

I paid for a week trial. I canceled five days into the trial. They still took money for the following week when their rules specifically says you won’t be charged if you cancel before 24 hours of your renewal. I have been asking for a refund. It’s still the same exact day and they’re telling me I can’t get a refund. It is the 17th it says I am able to read until the 26th which proves that. I should not have been charged if it was canceled that’s longer than a week.

I recently got this app because of an ad of a certain book. Mind you the writing style was absolutely horrendous, so once I realized you have to PAY to read AWFUL books I stopped using it immediately. However, they started charging me for a subscription I NEVER purchase and keep pulling random payments of money out of my card. They haven’t responded to my refund request and are still charging me, despite me never paying for anything. I’d suggest never downloading this app and if I could give it -5 stars, I would.

The app claims to let you read for free but if you want to read any popular books you have to pay to get past chapter three , there’s so many ads while you read so it’s confusing as to why I would also on top of that need to pay to finish reading when they get money anyways from how they format the ads (placing them in the middle of a sentence so you’d accidentally click them)

I paid the 29 cents for the week part just for one story then tried to cancel the subscription in my Apple subscription part like Novelpack said I could and found out I couldn’t. I had to do a fraudulent charge dispute on my PayPal account, then also the card that they charged the rest of the money on. Then I tried emailing them to refund me my money back and I still haven’t heard back from them. This app is a scam. You can only cancel if you cancel the account.

I bought this just so I could finish a story I saw on instagram. But now it keeps charging me and it won’t show up in my subscription tab anywhere. Not on rocket money, not in my Apple settings, not even in PayPal. It just says I’m paying this person and no reason why. I can’t afford this anymore, but I can’t get rid of the stupid subscription. Even on the app it tells me I have premium but with no way to cancel it.

I got into reading on here, and I paid and linked to be charged… Well now it’s saying I haven’t, and on top of that the ads are unreal, and I have to close out the app completely then go back in I’ve done been thrown 10 ads just trying to unlock the second part of my story! I was reading a book and wanted to finish, when J was done I cancelled it. I kept getting charged, I’ve been trying to cancel it since April 11, 2025. I did it in the app twice and screenshot it as a confirmation it was being reviewed. I’ve emailed them now twice. I should have done this thru Apple and not Paypal and it would’ve been easier to cancel under subscriptions, but I used PayPal and now I can’t stop the charges. Still working with PayPal to cancel

I subscribed through apple for one book that seemed interesting. i did not do paypal (thank god, read the other reviews). the book i wanted to read was about the love eraser story they advertise. i got a bit of that, before it switched to an entirely different story that had nothing to do with the one i had previously been reading. this actually happened twice in the book. i believe they’re either AI or stolen works mashed together.

The worst app. I had cancelled my subscription. I was charged and my subscription was reactivated without my knowledge. I had been charged twice in just three days and that’s USD $14.99 each time and when I sent an email to them I got the reply we will contact you in 48 hours but after that no reply. I sent an email again explaining and giving details still no use. DON’T DOWNLOAD IT IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE CHARGED LIKE THIS

I have cancelled my subscription countless times and it’s still tries to charge my card. The app has been deleted off my phone and there are still charges going through on my card. Do not download this app unless you want to be stolen from.

I downloaded this app and opted for a week trial without logging in. I wanted to cancel the trail but it gave no option and so I ended up deleting it. It now continues to charge me money even though I have not logged in and the app is deleted.

App support is not existent and won’t let you cancel reporting to my bank as I’m not going to be charged for something I cancelled

Genuinely dont install this if you dont want to be charged an insane amount. I tried out a free trial and cancelled within the same day, after that Ive been getting charged 15 usd twice a week. Absolutely non existent customer support, got no replies to my emails and worst of all the payments don’t go through apple pay so you cant find any proof that you ever cancelled a subscription. Signing up for this app is the same as signing up for someone to steal your money. Please dont waste your time on this!

I bought a subpar book and come to find out they’ve been charging me $21 weekly.

I got bought it once to finish one chapter, and now it continues to charge me even though I don’t have a subscription I canceled my account and deleted the app they still continue to charge me the only way I can stop this is to cancel my bank account. This is wrong on so many levels do better

The app isn’t bad itself. It’s built nice, I guess. The stories, though, are written like teenager’s first fanfiction. My main thing I’d say would help the app, though, would be a tag system to FILTER by! There is a brief tag system, but there’s no filter when browsing?? And search doesn’t apply to tags. (Ex: I search “romance” only books with romance in the title appear first, not the tags. A better sit would have the option to look at tags they like and include those in the search) anyway this is just paid ao3 I really don’t think it’s worth it
