DON’T DOWNLOADShould’ve looked at the review but I got excited to read the story I saw. I was told I can’t revive a refund even though I haven’t use it. They said since I’m VIP and books I’ve read have become my “assets” so they can’t refund me. I’ve had subscriptions to app that refunded me because I didn’t use the app for whatever it’s intended use is. This just seems very scammy. Telling consumers just because they have 1 minute or more of reading time you can’t get a refund. That’s not how a subscription works. You’re reading a book of course it’s going to be a minute or more to read a book. I haven’t used the app since I renewed it. Also they said it’s my “assets” but I can’t download the book. This is a scam app. Went to the review and it’s said this app is “questionable” and they don’t feel “trustworthy”. Most of every review rate it a five star so they don’t delete the review but the actual review is how questionable this app is. Also before downloading the app was supposed to be free. The stories on this app are lazy and repetitive. Waste of space. I just saw it says 13+. A child should not be reading this!! It should be 18/21+ at least. By now I’m sure you have also realized that the stories on this app are lazy and repetitive and want to cancel that subscription immediately. Here’s how:
On the home page of the app there is a button at the bottom right that says “mine”, click that and then click “1v1 Service” (it looks like a customer service line with a smiley face with headphones). From there you should be able to cancel your subscription with no further issues. Keep in mind that I used Apple Pay when purchasing, so unless you did also- there isn’t a guarantee it works the same way. I hope this helps some people out..GabriellettosVersion: 12.24.0
Needed some Fixes - all good now!Edit: It’s fixed now! I’m not sure if it’s luck, or their doing but, overall the app is great and working properly, 5 stars for sure no complaints completely satisfied.
The stories nor the adds are my problem, it’s the fact that your position in a story doesn’t save. It keeps me stuck on a chapter that I read 20 chapters ago and I have to go out of my way to scroll, scroll, scroll. I’d like that fixed, or at least a suggestion on how to save the chapter i’m on. I tried a lot of ways turning off my wifi, cellular data, putting airplane mode on, closing off the app on my chapter and whatnot, still won’t save. This app will sign you up for a subscription that you didn’t sign up for and then when you finally figure out what is going on and the charge will be a weekly charge. They will tell you that they can give you a half refund for that current week’s subscription and that’s it. The Worst Reading AppThis is by far the worst app I’ve ever used to try to read and I believe I’ve used most of them. Theres no way to use the bonuses so the books I attempted to read would only go up to 4 chapters before it asked you to pay for a subscription. From what I’ve read so far about the app, once you have a subscription it’s almost impossible to cancel it. HorribleTried to sign up for the $0.79 subscription, but the payment was declined due to insufficient funds. That part was fine, but the experience left me concerned. The app’s reviews feel questionable, with many 5-star ratings that seem like they may be incentivized rather than genuine.

Great stories, but…What’s the point of points and bonuses if you can’t use them for “short” stories? Especially when it feels like most of the stories on your app are considered “short” stories. Though, honestly, short stories should be classified as stories ten chapters or less. Most apps that require payment to read short stories feature stories with 20 or more chapters. Terrible terrible appI only subscribed so I can finish a story I read part of on fb which was doing an ad of this app and a story of it. The app tells you how to cancel the subscription but surprise surprise it doesn’t work. It tells you to look where your subscriptions are to cancel but literally every time I look there nothing is there. I bought only the first week cause it was 0.99¢. Since I used apple pay and it only showed the first week not subsequent subscriptions of the $14 something and I didn’t see the subscription in my subscriptions I thought there was nothing to worry about so I deleted the app only to find it is still charging me. I’m no good with technology so now I am just saying it fraud cause I don’t need it ever again. And there is literally no way to get rid of the subscription and worse yet, no matter where you look on the app no way to contact the developers to look into the problem. As if they designed it this way on purpose so they purposely steal your money with you having no way of stopping it.AffodildaVersion: 12.22.0
Free trial is a lieBEWARE!!! If you sign up for the free trial then try to cancel, they will charge you anyway. You can go through the cancellation process and get a screen with a green check leading you to believe your trial has been cancelled. But there’s grayed out text (sketchy that they make it so hard to see while the green check is super prominent) telling you that your cancellation is under review. Then if you dig through their FAQs, you will find that they review cancellation requests on the 30th day which is well after the trial period. So you’re going to get charged. Then there is no way to find out how to fix that without logging back in, which the FAQ also mentions that logging back in, especially if you do it through a third party like Google, Apple, or Facebook, negates the cancellation process. There is no clear way to contact them provided from within the app. So unless you know that you want to keep this app, do NOT sign up for the free trial! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! HARD TO CANCEL & ILLEGAL CONTENTI started reading a story on Facebook, downloaded the app to continue the story. It’s advertised as free, it is NOT free. I got the 1 week for $0.99 so I could finish it. When I tried to cancel the subscription, there is literally ZERO way to do it within the app. Luckily for me, I paid through PayPal so I was able to cancel it there — if you don’t see it in your subscription list on PayPal, scroll to the bottom and click the linked businesses, and you can cancel it there. We will see if after the week is up if they will continue to charge it.
Now for the content. I began to read a second story, and it started off as the FMC being 18 years old. Fast forward a little bit and she is suddenly now 14 years old and being “m0lested” by an adult. Don’t waste your timeIf i could give this app a 0-star rating i would, whenever you see the ads or short versions of the stories like on facebook or tiktok it always says download to read the story for free. well, that’s not the case. I downloaded this app with the intentions of reading one story and it cut off before i even caught up to the preview i had heard in the ad. It then gave the option for a subscription that was $.99/week for a limited time and then the subscription cost jumped to almost $15/week. Canceling your subscription is a headache! It took me forever to be able to cancel my mine. I thought that I had my subscription tied to my Apple account because that is how I paid for it. After talking with Apple, they said that the subscription was bought through this app. When I reached out to the app’s support, they said to give them 72 hours. I finally found the answer through Reddit.
For those of you suffering the same headache that I went through - to cancel your subscription, go to the Mine tab on the bottom right corner. Tap on the 1v1 service icon. Scroll down. Tap on Cancel
**The 1v1 service icon has an avatar above it that makes you think it’s customer service because the avatar is a happy smile head with headphones on. I had already reached out to their support - that was no help at all - so I just assumed that if I tapped on the icon that it would take me back to customer service. I’ve tried to cancel several times and instead it asks if you want to delete your account. But deleting your account is not unsubscribing. When you ask for help to cancel it continues to say you will be contacted in 24 hours and no one ever contacts you. You can’t even ask the “help” feature anything else. AVOID - No Customer ServiceI downloaded this app after seeing a preview on social media. I was offered a deal for 99 cents for the first week, and I tired to cancel it the very next day. My requests were never acknowledged and I was charged for another week of “premium” content (which wasn’t even that good) with no warning. They claim they will “notify you via email or other conspicuous means 5 days before your renewal” and I never got any notice at all. The only response I ever got was the automated one saying “we have received your request and will respond within 48 hours.” That was over 2 weeks ago. Do Not DownloadWas intrigued by the stories previewed on other social media platforms. I decided to download the app and pay the subscription but when I started using it, all the stories were all the same - language, setting and plot.
Then the issue with cancelation came in to play. I tried to cancel my subscription but was unable to. The “Help & Feedback” center provided instructions that led me to an endless loop, which leaving me unable to cancel. I’ve reached out to the “customer service” and no service was provided. Just an endless amount of questionnaires with the same information that led me into the loop hole I already dealt with on my own.

Worst App-Steal Your MoneyMy VIP access was canceled and it was paid for the whole year. I have 7 more months left and they’re having issues activating my plan. Terrible App, DON’T DO IT!After my first reading I realized this app was NOT user-friendly. being charged over 5 times for the subscription and them making it absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. Good luck canceling!I cancelled my account 4 days before the auto renew was set to be taken out of my PayPal, since the business was no longer linked, they couldn’t take it out of there, they did however try to take it out of my Apple account but I learned my lesson previously and only put money in that account when I’m making a purchase. Cancellation processThere is a get help section in the app that says that they will reply within three minutes and I waited over 10 minutes to get a generic response, from not a human. If you subscribe and then try to cancel they’ll keep charging your card even though I cancelled before the 30th of the month they said that they will review all cancellations by midnight on the 30th and I’m still being charged. You cannot just cancel your subscription. They have to review it and then approve it which in my opinion is just a scam. Customer service is no help yet. TRASH - Do Not DownloadUPDATE: I left my initial review on May 23, 2025. The developer did not reach out until today, July 22, 2025. Obviously, they do not care that their app is garbage and they just want to steal your money. I will not even consider changing my review until the money that was stolen from me is refunded.
Signed up for a trial, but there is no way to cancel, so they just keep charging your card. Attempts to reach out go ignored and unanswered.
There is no clear way to do anything and when you try it just kicks you back to the sign up page.

Worst appI began reading a story on Facebook. Nowhere did it tell me I’d never get to the end unless I paid for the end. What a waste of my time. If I had known I would have to pay for the end of the story I would not have wasted my time reading it at all. Too many adsI downloaded this app 2 days ago and to read the chapters you have to watch a tone of ads welll today on day 2 watched 2 ads that wouldn’t let me x them out I stood on the page for 15 min to see if the X would pop up to go back to reading and it never did. ScamI wanted to like this app but the stories are poorly written. The first book that lure me in was only 11 chapters long with a terrible ending. The other books just keep repeating themselves. They are dragging the same narrative over and over again. Additionally, I want to cancel my subscription but I can’t! Do not sign up using PayPal us a scam so you are not able to get out of it. ScamOnce you pay that little .99¢ deal they try charging your card repeatedly everyday until you get an active subscription and more. They make it hard for you to cancel. Since they were not able to get money from me, I don’t have an active subscription. However, they keep trying to charge my card everyday. I had pressed their “unsubscribe and cancel my account” button and DELETED the app BUT IT CONTINUED TO CHARGE ME $14.99 PER WEEK FOR 3 MONTHS.
I tried to contact them to stop charging me via the APP, EMAIL, IG, AND FACEBOOK, but they do not respond asides from the automated “Will respond in 48 hours” message.
When you pay for the first “$0.29 cent per week trial”, it sets up an auto renewal that cannot be cancelled until you call your bank or go to PayPal to manually unsubscribe to them. Most apps, when you unsubscribe, stops charging you. Hard to cancel!I paid the $0.49 to finish a story that had sucked me in. Then went to cancel my account. You have to create an account and then send an email to do this which I found odd as I was just using a guest account but wanted to make sure I would not incur other charges.
