Don’t believe the negative reviews!This app works, and always has worked! Had it since 700K blocked numbers, now it’s over 4.7 million. The negative reviews, in my opinion, are either from actual telemarketers trying to discourage you from an app that actually works, or developers of other blocking apps trying to steer you away as well. If you say you get “more spam” now, report the numbers, stop being an idiot. If you say it doesn’t work for ranges, you’re a liar. If you say it’s “worthless”, you’re a liar and a moron as well, because there’s many reviews for this app that proves just the opposite, and hopefully nobody is going to believe your crap. If you say it blocks “wanted numbers”, then whitelist those numbers and stop being a cry baby. If you say there’s “no way” to cancel your premium subscription, you’re either a liar or a moron. That said, only a fool would believe any negativity about this stellar app. Download it for yourself and see. I went from 20 spams a week, down to about 10 (around the 2 million mark) to now maybe 1-2 a week. I continue to block and report ALL spam calls because I’m a hater. Best features and Customer support till date!Oki, so after trying out Hiya, Roboshield etc, none of which worked for me, this app was my last option. I’m so glad I did - this app has huge database of blocked numbers as well create your own blocking database with either individual numbers or entire range. The entire range feature was also posted to accommodate better range blocking as per my suggestion and the devs incorporated it! Speaking of which, these guys have best customer support out there - i mean i talk with them daily through their text support and someone is always responding back to me within minutes! I recommended few changes and the devs even went ahead and incorporated those suggestions as well! Great blocking app...So far so good with this app! Before I installed it about a week or so ago, I was getting a lot of Spam TEXT Messages every day so I’d write down the numbers to keep track of them. When I got the app, I immediately added all of those Spam numbers to the “Block List” and it has worked!! I have yet to have one of those “blocked” numbers come through. I would suggest to the people that seem to be having a problem with this app to start writing down the numbers you consider are Spam, etc., then actually type them into the Blocked Number list in the app. It’s very easy to do and you don’t have to open up any of the messages to get the # they’re coming from. Great AppThis has been one of the best apps I have ever gotten! I’ve only got the free version so far but I am very impressed and pleased with it! Update to earlier reviewI can’t seem to update my earlier review, so I am writing a new one to thank this extraordinarily responsive developer team. I have used this app for nearly a year, and loved it. This week it had an update, and after that, it was not protecting any numbers. I followed the instructions in the app to enable it, but they did not work. I was really sad, because I love the app. I rated the new version with a 1-star rating 2 days ago and wrote a review stating why. Today I received a message that the developers had responded. I followed their new instructions and after several glitches was able to make it work. I tapped on the place to contact them for help, and was surprised on a Sunday morning to have somebody text me back immediately with assistance. We had some back-and-forth discussion, and they were able to resolve my problem. Positive impact on my life!My accountant told me about Call Protect. The first couple weeks I noticed my calls were about half and here’s the trick, every time you get a robot call take that number and put it into app under Block Number. I now have about 25 numbers in there that I’ve blocked after about six weeks time. As every week goes by I get less calls. I’m down to about one a week where before, I had between three and five a day. You will also receive updates about biweekly so keep it updated and doing that takes about two or three seconds. This app works and it’s awesome easy and free! I’ve put it on my husband and my two sons’ phones and they’ve noticed a difference as well. YAY! Amazing amazing appI never considered writing an app review before but I have to spend time to tell you how amazing this app is. No more spam calls at all! For 3-4 weeks already. I saw that there are silly people who complained about the app doesn't work at all (probably they don't understand how a filter work) or there is even a ridiculous guy say something like well spam calls get drop from 8-10 per week down to 4-5 and conclude that the app is not working perfectly so he deleted it. What on earth is his point??? The app literally saves him half of his time on picking up spam calls and that's not good enough for him?? Well first off all, this app doesn't charge you a dime to use, so why not try it out? Second, this app works! Just update the filter Data base weekly and you are good. Super AppI have been using this app for several months, and the number of spam and scam calls has decreased to almost nothing. I used to have 30-40 missed calls every morning on my phone, now there may be 1 or 2 per week. Outstanding!!! Saved me from robot callsI installed this app a few month ago when I was getting 5 calls a day from robot (SSN scam, etc.). As soon as I installed it, almost all of them disappeared! I also don’t understand people complaining about the ads being pushy and whatnot: the app runs in the background and you only have to open it to update your database or manually block numbers. It’s not like ads were ruining your experience… I took a star off tho, because now there is an option for a paid plan, I do not seem to find what my “basic plan” covers anymore. Could you add a chart with what the normal plan does vs the pro? Because “Regularly updated spam database” does not give me information. What does that mean? GreatI am absolutely pleased with Call Protect. I was getting anywhere from 30-35 robo and scam calls a day. It was so frustrating. There is still a few that come through but that is to be expected and it’s getting better as I list them and have learned how to update regularly. Fabulous!!!My wife and I each received approximately 25 spam calls per day. We tried every call blocker app and paid the subscriptions. We saw a reduction in spam calls but we each received 5+ spam calls per day after installing. We didn’t try Call Protect because it was free and “you get what you pay for“ right? Wrong! Feature Request: Range ImportOverall, sure I’m still getting robocalls but this app has decreased that amount. A great perk to this app is the ability to block number ranges which is an awesome feature, however you’re limited to a static amount of numbers within that range each time you want to add one. This makes blocking an entire prefix (345-xxx-xxxx) painfully cumbersome. For me, my 3-star would gladly be a 5 if there was a way to perform a massive one-time import of ranges and then remove the few I still want to receive. As a novice programmer myself, I can comprehend the resources required to allow this and the potential hazard it could create for the user, all while still offering the app for free. Positive ReviewI like this app because it identifies numbers that are unknown or no number available or telemarketing numbers as potential spam. Tells you what the threat level is and does not ring your phone. You can search the number to see if you know the number. If it is spam it will tell you. If it is a registered number it will tell you who it is registered to then you can make up your mind to leave the number to come through the next time by naming it, or you can block the number and tell what kind of call it is. Highly RecommendThis app is pretty good. Was tired of getting so many spam calls or from out of the area calls and searched for some apps and found this one, at first I wasn’t sure since a lot of apps aren’t that great but surprisingly this one is good. Works for the most partNo spam blocker is going to stop all calls. People need to accept that fact. This one, however, does seem to work better than any of the others I have had. I was getting up to 20 calls a day. Since I’ve had this (about 2 months), I may get 2-5 on some days, and some days I get none. The only issue I have is that twice I’ve seen the amount of numbers I am protected from go DOWN. When I open the app, it starts to update the amount of numbers I am protected from and on two separate occasions, the number that was there deceased, instead of going up. That’s just weird. Quiet phoneEver since I installed this app my phone has just gotten super quiet. This is extremely easy to use. Just block annoying sales callers as soon as it happens open this app and you’re done. Has made my blood pressure go down !!!I was receiving on a constant basis so many scam , unknowns, stressful calls to the point I had to turn ringer off, Not good when you have Illness with Family members . Best App I’ve EVER DownloadedI was receiving automated spam calls 2-3 times a day from different numbers. Reporting numbersThe reporting numbers that are spam or telemarketer function has not been working lately. It is a whole foundation behind the app it should probably get fixed if you’re listening. When you hit the magnifying glass search function and it pulls up I paste the number in the field it will just spins like it trying to pull up the lookup info. I know I have service so that’s not the issue, but I will never pull up with the option of allowing you to report it. Other times it will work fine. Blocks effortlessly.I use a combo of this app and Malwarebytes to keep spam calls and texts off my phone. At this point I’m getting no spam at all. When for some reason my phone reset the spam blocking protection and it was off I got like three spam calls all at once haha. Turn it back on and I’m free at peace lol. Best Free Call Blocking App!I kept getting at least three to five calls a DAY from the robocallers! I tried blocking them but they always called from different numbers. Very good!I get a lot of robocalls, which makes me very mad. You know the whole story....But I tried downloading other apps and they were gonna make me do the whole “7 day free trial” crap. I don’t want to spend money on something I don’t know that will work 😔 This was very good bc it blocks calls AND allows you to search up numbers and report them for scam or whatever and see their location. Sometimes people call me and it won’t show the location (it just says “America” or “India” instead of like “Atlanta, Georgia”) and it seems suspicious. Sometimes it even says “Unknown”! Missed when uninstalled 😞Had installed for about 4 months and reduced unwanted calls by at least %90. Uninstalled thinking CP had become redundant. Legitimate and legally allowed calls being blockedI am disturbed that people that don’t want spam are reporting credit card support numbers and medical support lines as spam causing the inability of their customers to contact them or they contact their customers since card holders and medical companies who insure the individual being called have the legal rights to be able to contact their clients. Credit card holders, banks, credit unions, insurance, medical and other businesses who’s customer have accounts with have the legal rights to call or email the account holders. When the call phone companies implemented the automatic call rejection by law it blocked some of these numbers as well and it cause me to not get a very important call. Lazy people who don’t want to be called can easily program their own phone to block all but calls from their own contact list. (White listing is to most effective means to block unwanted calls) However spammers who can mirror your phone number or the phone number of your contact list should be blocked and prosecuted. Talking to a technician representative from my cell phone company I got this poorly implemented government mandated auto spam blocking solution removed from my cell phones. They stated they had to implement their internally developed (without doing enough testing for performance) and it was so effective it blocked legitimate phone calls by the data mandated by the federal government..Rob JorVersion: 1.2.3

Just me?It seems like I’m the only one doing the feedback when I get a malicious call. Also, why only show the cellular provider detail, we need the actual name/company name of the call. It’s not helpful knowing it’s Verizon or whomever calling, we need the name. Also, like Robocall blocker, why not include a playback version of the voice Mail they leave? Again though, almost ever call I get (in the dozens a week), I’m the one adding the feedback, it’s rare when someone else has reported the number. What up? UPDATE: still only shows the prover and not the actual caller. That’s useless. Also, it still seems as though I’m the only one adding feedback on the malicious caller! Then there are the ad’s. UselessI have had this installed for several months. It has so far only given me heads up if one call. I have continued to get scammers calling and there is a pretty serious one going around where they sound all official and say they are going to verify your employment and give you a case number etc and if you don’t respond and pay they will be filing a civil action against you. This is a scam. I have reported two of the numbers that have called me so far and I have blocked them and out the numbers in the app. This is well known on the net yet they keep calling with new numbers. They all work that way you block one scammer they call you on a different number. I can imagine it’s hard for an app to keep up. Not Worth ItThis app was disappointing from start to finish. First day that I had this app, I thought it was working AT FIRST. No spam calls for an hour. Then after that, I got TWO AT ONCE and then after I hung those both up, I got another one. Literally downloading this app made MORE spam calls show up on my phone and TWO CALLED AT THE SAME TIME. Never had that happen before this app. And no, I’m not from a spam phone company saying don’t get this because of it. 🤔 ???Ok the app was ok except for the notification to update the list It should do that on it’s own not tell me I need to open it then click 🤔 ??? It showed over 500,000 numbers til this last click then it went back to “0” ??? ShadySo the app works great the first couple weeks until it doesn’t. They program it to start pressuring you to pay for premium. I caught on after I realized the tap/update feature would just freeze. After going into isettings-phone-call blocking identification; I noticed the app was gone! Which explains why o started getting spam calls again. It randomly appears/ reappears in the call block. Calls I’m Receiving StillCalls decreased over time which some are not caught on call protect so having to manually enter these numbers, have even had ones from different countries, had 3 different numbers from England which had to enter them especially when the calls were all different numbers, sometimes gets frustrating, any idea why they’re not catching them all? No way to know it’s working or why to switch to ProI’ve been using for months with Basic plan. Here’s my observations: I have no way of knowing this is doing anything. I still get spam calls. I see no calls in my phone’s history or the app’s history of calls blocked or identified by this app as spam. When I reverse lookup a number (even with paid version), I don’t get any more information than my phone showed me (City, State). It seems like this is just a call blocker app operating separately from built-in call blocker. Switched to Pro, and nothing is visibly different. Blocks Calls I Need To ReceiveI hate this app! My review was longer and specific, before the developer responded and said my review was, “false.” I guess one’s personal experience isn’t considered valid. So, the app didn’t work for me as advertised. Yep, checked all relevant settings and the issue persisted. What’s irksome about the developer’s response, other than it being insulting and condescending, was that not a single suggestion as to how I might fix the issues was included in the response. Was a great appWhen I first downloaded the app I was getting a lot of spam calls. And it helped a lot then I update the app one day and all of a sudden I am just a basic user and they want me to pay for a premium service monthly if I was to get the same thing I was getting for free before while the app service was getting bigger. No benefit so far, aggressive upsellingI get 2-4 robocalls a day from spammers (mainly vehicle warranty). I was manually blocking each one but it never helped for long because they swap numbers. I had hopes for this app. Maybe others have caught and blocked some numbers that the spammers were planning to call me from next? Does not allow blocking of entire area codes or countriesI am getting a lot of spam calls from area code 718 and China. The app says you can subscribe to the pro version and block a range of phone numbers but it only allows you to block out 40,000 numbers at a time. So if I wanted to block out 718 I would have to enter 250 ranges manually.
