Newest update has an issueHey Team, Just wanted to say great job on the app but due to the latest update there’s a bug where it shuts my app down completely. I have an iPhone 12 Pro with the latest firmware. When it does happen is when I’m clicking on a card that has sold in my auctions to look for another one. The wheel spins and then it stops and the app shuts down completely. Hopefully you guys can figure this out soon as I use this feature to see what the current price of a card that has sold w/o searching for it and also being able to buy another and post it quickly is a huge time saver rather than clicking search and inputting all the card details. Some suggestionsThe Madden Companion App is very helpful for improving your team on the go. But, I have some suggestions that I want EA to consider. 1. Trade Block: The option to post trades and make trade offers would be very convenient and many people would use it. 2. Store: EA should also consider adding a store to the app because some people are not able to access their console/PC during limited store options and EA would make more money off of a store too. 3. Sets: Sets would be another great addition to the companion app. I have found myself wishing that I could complete a limited time set that I forgot on the go, and haven’t been able to complete it. Finally here, but incompleteMy league has been waiting on this app for over a month now. Today, we finally get the update. That’s awesome but the app is incomplete. We run our CFM using NeonSportz as a hosting site. This site requires the use of the Madden companion app to export data. Mostly everything is working, except the most important one, Statistics. The app won’t export certain week statistics as it says it has 0kb of export data…. Not a huge deal, but with the watered down franchise you give us every year, we would at least like something simple such as data export to work correctly. Been a life long fan of EA, but slowly hoping the NFL pulls your exclusive license so 2k can get involved and finally show you guys how your supposed to operate. Bring in the option to do sets and packsI believe this app isn’t to helpful with growing you ultimate team. Very Useful For Ultimate Team But Theres One Thing Y’all Should AddThe app is SUPER useful if your main mode is ultimate team in madden 20. Whenever your not on the game, you can just get on the app and sell players and buy players on the auction house. It’s also very useful if you have bid on a player but let’s say the bid has 5 more hours, you can check regularly on the app to see if your winning the bet, and the app allows you to put custom amounts of coins on bets. I would definitely recommend this app. But I think the developers of this app should add a feature to where you can do sets in the companion app for ultimate team. Please Fix Franchise SideI know 90% of the people that use this app use it for the MUT side of it.. but we are over 2 months into the launch of the game and this hasn’t been fixed. If you click into one of your leagues, it will tell you you are in the correct week, but when you click on the “sim a win” for the weekly schedule.. it is 2 weeks off and has been all year. Not being able to use this app for long periods of timeI enjoy the value that this app offers me as a long time madden player. MUT companionAs far as the app I love having it while I’m not home. I’m able to sell players and buy players for the team. As well as look up players I maybe am interested in. The only thing I wish was better was the depth of being able to buy/sell. I wish I could quick sell stuff for training through here and or buy packs that are currently in store. Good, but has barely scratched the surfaceAs a MUT player since Madden 15, I love the addition of the companion app for the auction house so I can snipe on the go...but there is a ton that is missing from the product. First off, why can't you just add the sets menu to the game? It would be helpful when it comes to coin making methods and also for just getting rid of binder junk among other options. It’s okay, convenient and easy to use but crashes too muchThis app crashes a lot is my biggest complaint. You constantly have to close the app out and reopen for it to work. I just updated it and I am not sure why when searching for a card they changed it from what it recently sold for under “recent” to the cheapest it’s sold for. So much potential but falls short by a lotReally a great idea for an app and easy to navigate, I do use it frequently but its a frustrating app to use sometimes. For instance: if you turn your phone screen off while last on the app, next time you go on to your phone itll say “no connection” and kick you out, youll then try to re enter and itll say “app unavailable” forcing you to exit out of the app, swipe it away (shut down the app) and then re enter in order to use it again. You cant control training on it either or power ups and things of that nature, i wish you could, lastly theres a new bug that tells me to verify my account every single time (no exaggeration) I press anything on the app, whether i do the verification process or not, or exit out of the app or not, any player i press on, buy, auction, any screen i flip to, it says i need to verify my account, haven’t experienced this all year, its now saying my account doesnt have access to the app, So that needs to be fixed. Actual worst app I’ve ever used- 0 StarsThis app is trash. There are zero redeeming qualities. IF you can get it to work, you cannot buy or list MUT players on the auction house. It has worked once for me in maybe 100 tries. You are met with “you are not an authorized ultimate team user.” When you create a ticket for EA Help they will look you dead in the face and tell you “this is the first time we’ve heard of this issue.” There are FAQ question on the EA website that have been open for 4 months with people asking about this same issue with replies from EA mods saying the exact same thing, over the course of those 4 months. EA makes so much money it’s insane and I was absolutely stunned when I downloaded this app for the first time. Do not download as it is an actual hindrance and does not help in any aspect. Disgrace of a companion appThis companion app is straight garbage. Don’t even have to change anything from last years companion app. Takes forever going through all the steps just to search for cards and now you can’t even buy multiple at a time. For the love of god!Seriously guys.... why is it so incredibly difficult for you guys to put together a functional app? I have had to delete and reinstall this app four times just to try and clear out the fact that the only search that I can do in the auction house is for Lamar Jackson. Basically I tried to bid on a Lamar Jackson the auction ended in when I press the button to find similar it has now embedded Lamar Jackson into external search algorithm and there is absolutely no place for me to remove it. Terrible AppThis is the worst companion app there can be for a game. If I could, I’d rate it 0 stars. It earns that 1 star just because it’s a bit easier to buy cards through the app than it is through the actual game. You can set filters a lot easier and save searches. The searches sometimes disappear and you have to set them up again. App crashes a lot and sometimes won’t even load up so you have to uninstall and reinstall the app. It also bans you for no apparent reason. It sends you to a verification screen with 6 cubes to select the cube that has two identical objects 3 times. You complete this and are asked to do it again. Eventually after SUCCESSFULLY completing this several times, you get banned from accessing the Auction House for whatever period of time EA decides. They don’t even tell you how long it’s for. Pros and ConsI love using the app for sniping the auction house and what not while at work and at home. The information it gives you about the auction and the refresh is better than in game......, but the game randomly crashes and has issues connecting to server. When your screen goes into power save or you click something else you have to restart app. I’ve lost countless auctions to this mess of an app, but still better than in game. After using this for over a year, I have had the game lock me out twice for thinking I was a bit. The first time took me a week to get access again and just happened again today. Only somewhat usefulYou can purchase cards off the auction house fine, but the filter saving function needs to be retooled, and selling a card only seems to work 1% of the time - tells you that you aren’t a valid user for whatever reason… I’ve never tried to do a set on it, out of fear I’d lose my items, but adding that feature has some promise. I don’t understand why someone at EA can’t simply use the app for a few days to see how horrible the user experience is and then work towards fixing the multiple issues. What’s the pointI’m going to be brutally honest with this one. It’s dog water. There’s no point to playing this game at all. I log in, try to play franchise mode, but it says I need to join or create a league. What’s funny is that there isn’t an option to do so on my phone. Then I try MUT. It sucked too. I was stuck in the auction house with 0 coins. I’m assuming that this is connected to your actual console/pc madden, but if so, JUST PLAY CONSOLE OR PC MADDEN. When I opened it it showed the ea sports logo as any other ea app should then it said if you would like to enable notifications. One of the worst apps I’ve downloadedThe very first time I opened this app to look at the MUT features I was met with “There is a problem communicating with Madden NFL servers,” and I knew from there my experience was going to be a tragedy. And was I right. This app doesn’t work more than it does work. I haven't been able to use it for over three days; it’s almost like you have to get lucky and hope it’ll be working when you decide to open it, or check to see if it’s working every 5 minutes. I can guarantee that I’ve spent more time trying to use the app than I have ACTUALLY USING IT. EA gives this free app less time and effort than they do their actual game. Except I’m actually content with getting screwed over for free since Madden screws you over the exact same ways for $60: Servers don’t work, UI is clunky (always) and unresponsive (at times). You can’t even downgrade cards to sell from the app, you have to do it in the game FIRST and then you can sell on the app (why???) The binder doesn’t workI know it’s not just my ultimate team binder that is messed up. After the update I can’t see any of my players. I like to show people at work my team and I can’t even do that now. I would like to know what happened. The only thing I can see when I click my binder is the overalls of my players and they are overlapping each other and you can’t click on any of them. Please fix this issue! I love madden and buy it every year and I have never had this much problems out of a companion app. You would think they have been doing this long enough to make a simplistic app such as this, with no flaws. Not impressedThis is a brilliant idea that was executed poorly. When I saw that they created this app, I was excited. I figured they had actually come up with a good idea, but apparently EA believes they should only put their “time and effort” into the game of madden. My Honest Opinion After A Year of Heavy UseThis app is a fantastic thought. But like many things done by EA & Madden, they just put “beta” on anything new as an excuse to any potential issues. When it’s working, it’s awesome. Wish I could open packs, or quicksell cards or complete sets. But just being able to sell cards in my binder at the airport is good enough. The problem: I’ve been trying to login all day. It worked this morning actually. But since roughly 9am? Well if I try to search a card it will tell me “CRITICAL ERROR” and if I try to go to my binder the app just crashes. I tried to login on my work phone too. Same issues incurred. I’d say this app actually works rightly 55% of the time. When it works it’s extremely slow and clunky. Very poor interface. But it does what it’s set out to do. I never accidentally sell a card for less. It actually shows you recent sale prices which you can’t even find within the game. Meh, it’s something from EALook, this app doesn’t make EA any money. I don’t think there’s anywhere on it that you can give them more of your money. So, it’s gonna be even worse than the full Madden 20 game... that’s saying something. Update 21.1.3 *DO NOT UPDATE*Ever since my madden companion app updated to version 21.1.3, I have not been able to access my Xbox account on the app. When I sign in with my EA credentials, it signs me into an account that is not associated with my EA account. There is no option to change your persona to your actual account, therefore I cannot access my MUT team from the app. No other accounts are linked to my EA account so this should not be happening. Deleting the app doesn’t work, changing Email doesn’t work, nothing. When the app is mostly used for auctions and the auction requires fast bidding and you crash during that bid, you lose out on what you were doing. FIFA App vs Madden AppI’m a big fifa fan who hasn’t played madden since 17 and wanted to give 21 a go since fifa 21 comes out late this year. In fifa - the companion app is a must. You can do everything from Sets / Challenges / fifa store / open packs / leaderboards / and the transfer market / and the menus are extremely fast. I downloaded the Madden companion app and I was shocked at how stripped down and slow it was. It has the transfer market and your club and that’s it. Can’t do sets / no store / cant open packs / or look at leaderboards. I just started my ultimate team also and it’s got a nice coin stack and 91ovr squad in 3 weeks from using this app. It’s once you start to get good at sniping cards EA’s not security will constantly lock you out in attempts to slow the ability to flip cards. It’s seems days I have barley any luck sniping cards the app is fine. I get up for work early in AM and snipe 15 cards in 30min and I’m locked out all day. Why even have it?App is so bare bones I don’t even know why they waste their time. “Manage your franchise” gives you no options. Old versions would at least show results so that way you could know if members played their games or not. This one for madden 24 doesn’t even do that. This app is very close to being able to eliminate the need for other apps. No chat mode? No ability to look at rosters or make trades/sign and release players. Constantly CrashesFor the past month this app force closes after any 1-2 actions. I constantly check to see if maybe the app needs to be updated but NOPE, never anything available. Great for Sniping terrible verificationI love the app and it’s great for sniping and selling off my cards faster than on console. However, sometimes this verification puzzle comes up incredibly too often. Mid auction it will pop up and ruin my chances for getting a card. Less functional than 10 years agoI don’t know what I was expecting... it’s EA, so of course it would look worse and have less function than the app that was available for Madden 10. DO NOT POST AUCTIONSI downloaded to purchase and resell cards for MUT. It mostly works, but I clicked on Auction to list a card and never got a screen to set auction details. Instead, the app automatically listed the card that I had just purchased (price of 9500 coins) for 150 coins (the lowest possible price). I complained to EA, and they told me that they couldn’t do anything for me. They promised a call back from a supervisor, and I never received a call back. I saw a card worth 200k coins go for 150 coins, and I’m guessing it was the same glitch. Only good for Force Wins and Auto PilotAs someone who has played in Franchise mode since I was a lot younger, I’ve always wanted to be able to access the Simulation from my phone.
