Covid concernI’d like to express my opinion on the site and why I am so upset with FanDuel and will recommend to everyone not to use it. It began about a month ago when I was sent an email about a free 50 FanDuel was adding to my account. At that point I had been using DraftKings and unibet and froze my FanDuel account. I was impressed with a free 50, so I asked for my account to be reopened, which it was, but there was no money. I had talked to support (have the email still) and Jake had told me it would be added in a day and if not to write back. It wasn’t added and a day or two later I got an email apologizing and saying that email about the 50 was sent by mistake. There goes the money, even though your support team told me I was getting it after the email stated I was getting it. Ok, too late, I already reopened my account so I Might as we’ll place a few bets. This takes me to ufc bet that I will put in the picture (pic was sent to FanDuel in my same email to them). I got two of the fights correct with the third fight being cancelled. I didn’t think I would get the winnings, but since I didn’t really miss any I figured at least my money back... nope. Nothing. This is scary especially with Covid canceling sports and teams games. If a bet is placed and game never happens, from past experience, fan duel gets the money because the pick wasn’t right. I then wrote to contact and speak to someone, but again nothing. Stolen Winnings and CheatingWas playing non-live dealer roulette when I placed three bets on one spin. A chip on the first dozen, a chip on the second dozen, and a chip on Green 0. Green 0 hits, and I receive no payout when I certainly just placed the wager, triple checked to make sure I did because it’s easy to misplace a bet playing online. Anyways, made the bet, and received no payout. Contacted support to alert them of my issue to have it rectified to be told I cannot be given my winnings. I have no idea how you can take my money after I win the bet. Have already spoken to family friends in gaming commission. Secondly, their live dealers are scrupulous. The croupier on the roulette table was throwing the ball down several times, legit throwing and tossing/dropping it into the wheel. Have also seen one Blackjack dealer draw cards and dispose of them until she had a face card and/or number high enough to beat players. All the while looking at the cards (suppose to be face down). And then the kicker of all kickers, watched the same croupier mentioned above spin, ball lands in green 0…. Sits there for 7-8 seconds, winning number flashes on screen and what do you know somehow the ball has moved one space over and the number was changed. That chat was livid in that game. I shouldn’t have to screen record every wager I place due to fear of cheating but I’m going to have to. Have everyone of them recorded and documented besides the Green 0 incident. Save your money and DO NOT bet online with live-dealers or non-live. Stick to sports or go to a live casino where you can lose your money fairly. No rewards system whatsoeverI’ve been using FanDuel since 2021, my account balance is almost negative $10,000 since I started. Meaning I lose a lot more then I win. I like to parlay but other than that these guys give no free bets whatsoever. They are my number 1 Sportsbook just cause I like the platform and options they offer. Other than that they don’t Give anything back besides some profit boosts and no sweat bets on a few games every so often. JUST THIS MORNING ESPN Bet issued me a $25 dollar free bet and I hardly ever use their site. FanDuel has never done this. They don’t care about their customers only that you lose money on their site. Their customer service is terrible as well, they won’t assist you hardly ever & tell you they’re not allowed to issue any type of free bets and that it’s automatically generated. Customer Service is AWFULBeing new to betting I tried this app out I had 6 leg parley on a basketball game. When it came to the last leg of the parley all I needed was the Timberwolves to win which they were at half time I could of cashed out bc all the other 5 legs of my parley where checked green to go but instead I felt the wolves would succeed. I wake up next morning to see if they had which they did! I was thrilled but then noticed that one of my legs from night before that was already met all of a sudden was not met bc apparently the player didn’t not get 12 rebounds somehow it was down to 11 and I did not win my bet. Mind you all of this I’m fine with it’s a gamble right what I was not fine with was the company took absolutely no responsibility for providing inaccurate live stats where they stated he had got 12 instead they blamed me as the customer and stated all bets were final then disconnected me from the chat. Disgusting! At least take fault for your app having a flaw and explain how you might look into it or be more vigilant. Maybe even a free bet or my original bet back anything to provide a pleasant experience. Bugs issuesI do love the app, super easy to navigate & make bets but I have constant issues with app features not working. The new “tap to see averages” feature that allows you to tap on an athlete’s profile to see their previous scores/averages, will work for 2 days if I’m lucky but usually doesn’t last more than a day then when I get back on, it’s gone & doesn’t work until a random day like a week or so later. I have tried updating the app, uninstalling & reinstalling, clearing my cache, nothing works & it is completely random as to when it does & doesn’t work. Right now, I had the feature yesterday but I just got back on the app today & it no longer works. This also extends to the “featured” bets during games that have the bets FanDuel makes with the silly names & whatnot like “The Chef & The Butler” “Jimmy Buckets” etc, they also appear & disappear at the same time as the player feature does. It is very frustrating not having access to a feature & I have to constantly ask my partner what players scored/etc in previous games just so I can make choices on my bets or have to switch between google & FanDuel repeatedly to check which is even more annoying. Double deposits taken??I never ever leave reviews for anything but I’m very frustrated with FanDuel rn. I deposited a total of $105 through 6 deposits and when I checked my bank account from which i was funding my account deposits, my account was double charged. The charges that were accurate said FanDuel betfair. However, there were also charges for FanDuel jersey for additional deposits that I did not make and I don’t even live in jersey. I am a college student in bloomsburg pa, I set up the account in pa, and never have I been on the app in jersey so why is FanDuel jersey stealing my money?? I contacted support SEVERAL times and still have not heard back. Waiting to not travelI love FD and I think that it is far superior than its competitors, but I do think that there’s room for improvement in certain areas to separate it from other sportsbooks even more so than it already is. For instance I think that FD would benefit from dealing with players injured during games. Just like in a real game, if a player gets injured, we have SUB BETS. Allow bettors to pick 1 Sub bet per transaction so that if a player gets injured a bettor will have a substitute bet that will take the place of the bet on the injured player. There can be stipulations such as - if an injury occurs earlier in the game it is replaced with the sub bet or it can be void. I think this is an unfair advantage to sportsbooks if a player is injured in the 1st or 2nd quarter of the game and a bettor automatically loses that bet. Obviously there are other factors to consider. For instance, if a bettor has more than 1 leg in the same bet for the same player. One & doneSo I watched the Super Bowl like many others, before hand I had seen a commercial for this app. For new customers they were running a promotion. Basically pick a team and win a bunch of money (if you win of course) I Chose the winning team, for a max bet of $5 and I won $275. Easiest money I have ever made, hands down. I thought it was a scam all the way until I had the money in my account. I will tell you, Betting was some what of a pain. I logged in at 6 and had to have my bet in by 630 and I couldn’t log in. Essentially the system was over loaded during this time. Finally I got logged in and went to bet and it kicked me out. (Which seems to be a huge issue with this app) long story short, I literally got my bet in at 6:29. Fix the logout issue!!Overall this app is pretty solid and easy to use. The one thing that has consistently driven me crazy is how it will tell you your session has “timed out” anywhere within 1 min to 5 mins after you just logged in. I have had plenty of times where I was in the app and put several bets into my bet slip, but didn’t confirm just so I could quickly look at my action app. Then I’d go back to FDsportsbork and lo and behold, my session timed out and I have to go back in and find those picks I would’ve made. Even though I logged in no more than maybe 1 or 2 minutes prior. But other times it’ll keep you logged in for seemingly 15 mins. It’s very inconsistent and I wish you could change the log out time in the settings. Feature requestDear FanDuel team, I am writing to suggest a new feature for your betting app that I believe would greatly improve the user experience for many of your customers. I am proposing the addition of an "Auto Mimic Generate" feature, which would allow users to share their bets with friends for example and have the app automatically select the same plays for the recipient within the app. Currently, if someone wants to mimic a friends bet, they have to manually search for each individual play and select it. This can be time-consuming and inconvenient, especially if someone has placed a large number of bets. The Auto Mimic Generate feature would streamline this process by allowing users to simply share their bets with a single click, and have the app automatically select the same plays for the recipient. I believe this feature would be extremely useful for users who want to share their betting strategies and picks with others, as it would make it much easier for them to do so. Don’t use FanDuel if you expect to be treated fairly and keep your money from being stolenI just had an issue this past weekend where my game froze during an active bonus. I tried numerous times to log back in but anytime I hit resume incomplete play, it wouldn’t continue my bonus round. This was not my main issue. I contacted support and Kiara was quite helpful; however, upon resuming play after they said it was fixed, my bonus was gone and so was my $95 dollars I stood to make at minimum for that particular bonus round. When I questioned them about cancelling my bonus round and asking them to make amends, they not only didn’t reply but also closed my case altogether. Great app!!Downloaded this app a little while ago due to the casinos being shut down. Basically only play the slots not really into the sports betting events even though that’s the main for this app. Haven’t had any issues while playing if I ever got kicked out of the game when I logged back in the game I had previously played loaded right back to where I was when it kicked me out if I was in the middle of a bonus round spin or not. One of the worst casino apps I’ve ever usedPlease find another app to use. FanDuel is purposely delaying people on their money so they can lose it all back to them. I’ll admit sometimes I get carried away when it comes to gambling. I usually use fanatics sportsbook and casino because they have really good responsible gaming features. One for example is you can set your account so that you can’t cancel a withdrawl. If you withdraw your money it won’t let you cancel it which is great if you have little self control. Also 99% of the time when I hit withdrawl the money is in my account within minutes. Now with FanDuel it is the complete opposite. They will make you wait DAYS for your money. It’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. The last 3 times I won money on this app they delayed me so long that I ended up canceling my withdrawl and losing the money back. I discussed this with friends who also said the same thing happened to them. Now I am starting to believe this is intentional. I find it hard to believe that we live in 2024 and these guy can’t get quick withdrawals like every other app out there. Don’t use this book I’m beggingPlease whether your new or veteran in sports betting I beg you not use fan duel it is the absolute worst anti player buggy book in existence. They do “no sweat bets” that’s the promo they really hang there hat on which would be nice if you could bet more than 10$. You can not. Another thing is when you use the promo and lose the bet you don’t get your money from the bet immediately sometimes it’s a day sometimes it’s multiple days sometimes they try to pull a fast one on you and you have to go into support to get your money back. The promotions are truly awful feast week is one of the biggest weeks for betting in the US I loaded up that Monday to check the promos. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!Since June i’ve been trying to get verified on this app and every time I talk to customer service, they say the same thing. Pretty much a generic response that’s not really answering my question at all. When I put my information in on the verification screen it says we cannot verify you. I let them know that I’ve tried every combination of my name and address. I’ve tried every address that I’ve ever lived at and still somehow it is saying that my information is wrong. I have let customer support know about this multiple times now and all they have to say is that they go through a third-party company to verify all users. But they will not tell me who that third-party is or how I can contact them to see what information they have on file for me. I’ve been told by three different customer support agents that I should go to my county clerks office to see what information they have for me on file there. I literally went to the county clerks office and showed them the email of FanDuel stating that I should go there. and they laughed in my face and said they can’t help me. So at this point, it is looking completely helpless. I just want to be able to use the app but for some reason, FanDuel will not help me get verified. Convenient but riggedI’ve been playing blackjack for over 13 years and in 2019 before COVID I won over $1.2 million in 3.5 months(win loss statements to back everything up)Yes COVID has effected life very drastically and it also has changed casinos near and far. But one thing I noticed with all these app with blackjack on it, especially with fanduel is how rigged it is and when the game seems to never give out anything playing the blackjack app. While playing blackjack on the app for long periods of time and if you leave the app to pause, I noticed I’ve always lost 8-14 hands constantly. No matter what you do, the app will send winning cards to itself. One time I played for 5.5 hours after it took $6k within 5 minutes of using the app, i fought back for hours playing hands less than $20 unless i had to because i also discovered when you play hands over $25 frequently it automatically sends terrible cards. And never press the double bet button over 3-5x. The game knows how much money you uploaded and it knows when to take all your money if you are the doubling type. I have over 10-15 sessions to prove these things happen consistency. Last but not least if you get free play money/casino bonus, gamble wisely, the app will let you win early playing basic, then towards 70-90% left of the casino bonus balance it will win 9-14 hands in a row. DONT USE FANDUELI wish I could give it no stars . I been using FanDuel for years. I do a lot of sports gambling for entertainment . Win a lot and lose a lot. I won over 600 with two bets and they didn’t pay me . I talked to FanDuel’s team and they said there was nothing they could do , they had no time limit when I’d get my earnings and I just had to wait and eventually somebody would email me about it . The next day I got my winnings besides the sweat free bonus from a lost bet that same day for 48 dollars . I typically make 100 dollar bets or more . I messaged the FanDuel team about getting the sweat free bet back and conveniently a few hours later I couldn’t log and was told my account was suspended. I contacted support about it and they said they couldn’t help me at all and somebody would email me . Days later I got a email asking me dumb questions saying since I made a remark about needing the money that was owed to me from them because “I got bills” that was enough to delete my account for 3 months maybe a lot more . Slowly burnedStarted off well with the promos then they did some really shady things to be deceitful and ultimately I’d call one of the things that happened entrapping… this was the latest that happened and why they will no longer get my “business” (which I was betting $3-5,000/month)….Anyhow I made a bet a smaller one for $50 and before the game stated next to my bet in the open bets tab was a “promo” a headline titled $10 bet back promo as I’ve used multiple promos and the use of the headline I assumed this meant I’d get up to $10 back if I lost….. nope while I could just cancel my bet get the full $50 instead they had a “promo” next to it that instead cancelled my bet (which went onto be a winning bet) and just refund $10. Why on earth anyone would say yep, give me a coupon of $10 and I’ll pay you $50 is beyond me… they know they are hoping to rip someone off with a misleading promo headline. Okay, but could be betterFirst off, as some others have mentioned, Game Tracker at times can be inaccurate. I have screen recordings of the game clock rolling back during basketball games and even screen shots of Fan Duel saying a final score for a game and that the match had ended, when in fact the game is still ongoing. These things can impact your betting choices and cause you to make a bet on a particular outcome and lose your bet due to the misinformation provided by Fan Duel. Close your account for trying to win your money backI had fanduel for about 2 years and spent so much money only for them to email me and suspend my account for not answering a questionnaire about my spending on my account. I simply answered back to one of the questions that I wanted to just win money back that I’ve lost in general, and they closed my account saying that it is considered as chasing losses, so if you want to bet and lose your bet, do not try and bet some more or they will close your account for trying to win a bet. Horrible rewardsThe app is one of the better betting apps in terms of software, but that’s about all its good for. When I first downloaded the app I had no issues using free bets or taking advantage of the boosts, but in recent months it’s gone downhill. They cheated meI made a deposit into my FanDuel account. I used the 100$ deposit to place a bet. There is an option you can toggle on or off that says accept odds changes. I always keep this option off so that they can’t suddenly change the odds (basically the terms) of a bet while you’re in the process of selecting and placing it. Despite the fact I had a the “accept odds changes” turned off right after I submitted the bet the odds changed before the bet had finished submitting. The outcome of this bet went from what would have been a winning bet paying me a little over 180$ to a losing bet costing me the 100$ I placed on the bet. I couldn’t believe it disregarded my don’t accept odds changes option. Notifications don’t work for everyone and cost me a lot of moneyI’ve been using FanDuel for years and this has to be the worst year every. There notification system doesn’t work. They recommend using FanDuel Scout which is a joke because the alerts do not work there either. They way the NBA is right now with players sitting last minute or missing time and not being notified and other players are... Its definitely unfair and puts people at a disadvantage. I got pictures from people showing there notifications, etc. Also with league play if you don’t get to put a roster in by the start time you still should be able to enter a roster with the remaining players as long as there’s 2 or more games like they do for there late slate contest. You you miss that start time, whatever games start at that time then those players aren’t available is the contestants problem. They still should be able to enter a roster with remaining players. Terrible AppJust started betting on the fan duel app two days ago. By my 3rd bet I already had some shenanigans being pulled by the fan duel team. My parlay hits and I receive the money in my account but then a couple of hours later I see that the bet was voided and the money was removed from my account.
