Harvard Business Review App Comments & Reviews

Harvard Business Review Positive Reviews

New app is so much better!!The new version of the app. Is the experience I was hoping for when I first signed up with HBR. I was just using the website on my phone because the app was horrible. Not anymore! So thrilled to finally have an app that is worthy of the fantastic content HBR has to offer..Version: 30.0.11

Start Posting Real Ratings PleaseHBR Readers, if you are rating the mobile experience higher than a 3 (at best), you are truly doing yourself and cohorts a disservice. For such premium services, the mobile experience is lackluster to say the least. HBR team, the details are here in your “real” reviews, just look at the low ratings. Features, structure, it’s all there - what real reviewers want to see in the app. For anyone who’s been reading this publication for any length of time, I’m amazed at the rating, actually use the app and try to be productive and look for articles you are notified of in the weekly emails, try and download one from the app for review/further research…basics. Again, app rating can’t possibly be better than a 3. Hopefully someone at HBR actually looks into the negative feedback, it’s a goldmine for you..Version: 26.0

Enjoying the App, but...Overall, the app is pretty straightforward and enjoyable. What I dislike is having to keep signing into my account when opening the app. Worse is that I cannot use Face ID (I know, how lazy of me), but have to keep typing in my login information whenever I return to the app. The app and being able to navigate it otherwise are clean and as I would hope..Version: 26.0

Good content, need to improve the appPlease make these changes soon: - Allow to download so we can read articles offline. - Provide tools for notes & comments. For example, a highlighting feature. - Feature the current issue and articles so they’re easier to find. - Generally improve the search function..Version: 30.0.10

IOS Subscription Doesn’t Give Website AccessI was disappointed to find out about subscribing that the iOS subscription only allows access via iOS devices. Most subscriptions I’ve had through my Apple devices allow you to login to their websites via Apple Login, however HBR chose not to allow that, and chose not to disclose that. While the content is fantastic, I regret subscribing on the app..Version: 30.0

Bring in reading modesPlease bring in different reading modes. The only option now is the bright white background. Eyes get tired out faster. Surely dark mode must be there already !.Version: 26.0

3 for the app design, not for the contentThe content and my satisfaction with the materials are 5s. The app is just OK. It’s a simple design but not beautiful. Some of the tiles hang off my screen and obstruct the illustration. It’s basic (not a compliment!). The login process is annoying and outdated. Why can’t I use a biometric login and why does it keep logging out? It’s very frustrating. I also wish this app took advantage some of the cool dev features I see in modern apps, things that scroll and pop. Using the app in a new, visually stimulating and exciting way is more what I expected since inclusion of this app is a selling point between subscription levels..Version: 26.0

Can’t log into appI love the quality of HBR articles. Very practical information that helps me grow in my career. The design of the app is also great. My only complaint is that I can’t login on the app. I’m using the same credentials I use successfully for the website, but the app tells me they are incorrect. This needs to be addressed..Version: 5.0

App updates are a major upgradeI disagree with all the recent negative reviews, I think the upgrade is a huge improvement!.Version: 30.0.9

Needs a Dark ModeGreat way to read HBR articles when not on a laptop, would love to see a dark mode for mobile users though and a more intuitive UI, especially for the Magazine section which feels more like reading separate articles as opposed to a continuous and immersive read..Version: 28.0

For the lifelong learnerWell designed and easy to access all HBR articles. Search function needs to be improved a bit, it’s not a major pain. Like the snackable content - video explainers..Version: 6.0

Dates neededIt would be nice to have article dates included with content available through the mobile app. I like web-based HBR articles since I can see when the article was published at the very top of the article. Can you include this as a new feature in a future update to the app?.Version: 25.0

I Love HBRI often picked up the paper version in airports. But never had a subscription. For 10 bucks I figured I’d try it and it’s perhaps the best 10 I spend every month..Version: 24.0

The best business guru out there...The app is very user friendly and the very handy when I am traveling or just want a quick glance at the latest business case studies or news..Version: 6.0

Fine mobile appHBR mobile is a fine app to deliver content of the magazine. Achieves the customary high standards that are associated with the print version and organization..Version: 24.0

UI could be made betterI have so many issues with logging in to the app and this is after a paying subscriber has issues with accessing the digital version online. Lots to improve on the app. So many beautiful articles bu the UX is frustrating.Version: 23.0

Great App for learning.Great App to keep learning the most current information.great app.Version: 30.0

Love this magazineSo insightful, articulate and educational.Version: 24.0

Good app- dreadful narration on audio! The app is pretty good overall, though it is sometimes difficult to find specific articles in the search (even with the exact title!). My biggest issue is with the dry and monotonous narration, please stop using Noa and get your own narrators!! It’s painful to try to listen to audio articles…..Version: 28.0

The App is Micky MouseIt’s embarrassing that this is the standard they are releasing in 2022.Version: 27.0

Very basic functionalityThe content is great and appreciated but the app is very basic. Could be so much more. It would seem HBR has made a conscious decision not to invest in the app. If I had to pay extra for it, I wouldn’t bother. Disappointing..Version: 26.0

Great investment in myselfGreat investment in myself. Only needs a dark mode for reading..Version: 26.0

I love this new appGreat app.Version: 5.0

Could be betterNeed a dark mode; audio could be added; log in is complicated for no reason..Version: 24.0

Finally!Great to see HBR get a usable app! Would love to see an iPad version as well..Version: 1.0

Search function doesn’t workUnable to search for a specific author/topic. Search function does not work.Version: 2.0
