Needs fixingAfter taking 28 orders today, you guys have decided to punish me for not taking the last 5 orders that we’re $2.50 or to stores I have repeatedly said I don’t want to go to due to extremely long lines and low pay. So you’ve put me on pause because I haven’t taken the last few orders, but jokes on me because I can neither Resume Dash or End Dash because the app is glitching. So as much as I would like to keep taking orders, I can’t. I’ve restarted my phone and the app multiple times. Punishing your drivers for not taking minimum payout orders is not a smart move. Paying drivers what they deserve for an order that takes 30 minutes to complete due to lack of staffing these days or lobbies being closed would be an excellent way to get orders delivered and keep your drivers working. I wanted to deliver at least a few more orders but I guess I’ll have to wait for my dash to end naturally. Good job with the glitch. I truly feel valued after delivering almost 30 orders for you today and being kicked off at the end :/ (sarcasm) please value the very people who are making you money. And please value your customers and stop hiding tips, this makes it so they don’t receive their order as quickly. Also there should be an option for “payout is too low” for why drivers are declining orders, if you HONESTLY want to know why. Or “mileage to payout ratio isn’t enough”. We deserve to be paid out properly for the work we do. Increase base pay proportionate to mileage and I’m sure many orders that are being neglected will be taken..Version: 2.194.0
Great App!!! What would make it better though…..So I love door dasher it’s quick cash when needed. I do think though some improvements can be made like say the dashers are dashing in one sector and it goes dead we should be able to see it right away and show us the other areas that are busy so we can make quick decisions on the road. At the moment while we are dashing we can’t see the other areas or even the area we are dashing if they are busy or not. Maybe even go as far as hey this area isn’t busy anymore but this area is would you like to start dashing here. Love the hourly wage aspect, but we should get paid more for gas especially when we get sent out to the boonies most of the time and they don’t tip well or at all. Which shouldn’t even be a option. They need at least cover our gas price. That’s like 4.00 a gallon most times it’s less. So even if door dash figures it in a 1.00 extra per delivery for gas would help. No matter if the order is cancelled or it didn’t get sent to the restaurant we still drive there and the half pay is great but still should get that 1.00 plus the half pay. It isn’t just gas we use when we drive. You have oil, tires etc. Your company is a great way to make money for sure but your drivers are the front line we deal with both restaurants and consumers they need to be taken care of a little better. Offer incentives like for every 5k we drive you pay 25 towards oil change sent to our dasher direct. Offer free swag for other occasions stuff like that.Version: 2.298.1
Critical Update NeededI have been DoorDashing for well over a year and I’m a Platinum member. The DoorDash Dasher app is good, but it needs a few updates to make it great. 1). The most critical update should be to the navigation tool within the app: currently, the navigation tool is set to help you take the fastest route… the problem with this is that it does not alert the driver of any road closures due to car accidents or construction, (which is baffling as all other navigation apps have this figured out). The app struggles horribly to reroute you, and insists on taking the quickest route, often resulting in failure to arrive on time. Please update the navigation tool to include these safety features. 2). The Dasher App does not verify if you can lift more than 50 pounds repeatedly. Additionally, the offers that the Dasher receives does not indicate the weight of the order. Yesterday, the app took me to Lowe’s to pick up over one thousand pounds of river rock, and unfortunately, rejecting this order as a safety concern would have affected my ratings, so I feel it’s important for DoorDash and the customer to be transparent about the weight of the Customer’s Order as a means to prepare the Driver. 3). I am not seeing any follow up (by DoorDash) on any of the safety concerns I submit through the app. I see the email, but there is no follow up whatsoever. Overall I’m happy with the DoorDash Dasher app, but I feel I could be even happier with these critical updates..Version: 2.373.0
Great OpportunityI recently started dashing during a financially difficult period with fairly low expectations, mainly just hoping to create some additional income for my family. After giving the platform my full effort and treating every delivery with professionalism and attention to detail, I’ve honestly been surprised by both the earning potential and the level of support I’ve received so far. Within only a couple of weeks, I’ve been able to generate healthy daily earnings while maintaining strong account metrics by simply staying consistent, communicating well, and completing deliveries accurately. What stood out to me most, however, was how support handled the few issues I encountered. Whether it was app-related problems, address/geofence complications, or even an unfair customer rating, the support team evaluated the situations fairly and made corrections quickly without unnecessary pushback. As someone who already runs a transportation business where attention to detail matters heavily, I take customer service and delivery accuracy seriously. Because of that, I genuinely appreciated seeing that effort reflected fairly when issues arose. No platform is perfect, but based on my experience so far, DoorDash has treated me fairly, provided real opportunities to earn, and offered support that has been much better than I originally expected..Version: 2.427.1
Great flexible opportunity, but not without flawsI enjoy the dasher app. Allows me to make some extra money on the side and work around my schedule at my convenience. It is not without drawbacks though. First it’s supposed to work with CarPlay. It does not! I have done all the updates, etc still doesn’t work on CarPlay and this is on more than one vehicle. Secondly when they alert you to an opportunity they need to be more clear on where the delivery is going to. A lot of times the delivery alert makes it look local, but then come to find out it’s upwards of a 20 minute drive each way from the pickup. With that said there should be an option to allow you to say within a certain perimeter of the dasher zone for instance to be able to stay in one town. I know it’s less opportunities but it is vital when you are trying to run dashes in a certain timeframe. Thirdly the in app gps only works in vertical view it does not chance to horizontal. I’ve been using Waze instead. Fourth, there needs to be a work around when delivering to a poor cell reception zone. I should not be taking a hit on my account when I cannot upload a picture or mark a delivery as being dropped off due to no phone reception. One more thing I found (idk how true it is for others) becoming gold status has made dashing more difficult. Magically the zone I would normally work in has become unavailable and the app won’t let me schedule saying either time no longer available or giving an error. Going back down to silver status made this zone available again. Doesn’t make sense. Hopefully they fix these things..Version: 2.401.0
Not happyI’ve been dashing for about 8 months now and it was all okay at first but they must have recently updated it to where when you get cash orders, every regular dash you get after that is to pay off the cash you receive and I find that extremely ridiculous seeing how just a few weeks ago getting a cash order was such a good offer as you’d get that and the regular dash money but now you owe DoorDash if you accept the cash to pay for that persons meal. None of this was communicated I just had to call and ask why my direct deposits were missing for the support to badly explain what was going on and there’s no option for feedback or complaints so here it is. Along with the fact they don’t reimburse you half the time when you get to a store and the order is gone or get to a cash house and something goes wrong there, just wasted your time for nothing. Also they give you extremely far orders for the same pay you’d get going around your corner and penalize you for denying or getting held up. And they expect you to wait at each stop when there’s long lines. The least they could do is offer nearby dashes while the initial one is being made so you don’t end up only making $4 in thirty minutes! I’ve downloaded other delivery apps because of this and none of them are this bad. I got an email about reimbursements being sent for sending dashes twice and people getting dashes that were already done, still waiting on that. When it’s good it’s good but lately the bad has been outweighing and I’m about ready to be done..Version: 2.337.0
An Interesting Side JobI've only been dashing for about two weeks now and while I do have problems with the app itself and the business as a whole, overall this is a fun and profitable line of work. While doing deliveries, the amount of security you have at your disposal including location sharing, emergency contacts, and even their SafeDash Check-in is outstanding. Being able to communicate with the customer by text/call, contact a helpline, or even navigate to and from addresses all from the app itself is very convenient. On the business side, however, when looking for offers there are times when you will get lowballed with a low payout/tips and high mileage, resulting in little to no profit. This is especially terrible when considering their "acceptance rating", as the more or less offers you take can affect the quality and pay of those orders and even getting priority over other dashers. Denying a bad or unattractive delivery will only punish you and your chances at better offers (Ex: Earning 5$ for driving 12 miles, not to mention the trip back). While tips can vary they can be laughably bad, depending on your earning choice (I strongly recommend using "Earn by Offer"). Not to mention there are times when the app will simply not cooperate with you, whether it's locking you out of dashing, the map locations being incorrect, and even losing orders. While there are flaws in its system, and depends on a number of variables for the Dasher (gas mileage, location, etc..) I do believe it's still a great opportunity to earn some extra cash on the side..Version: 2.324.0
Only new dashers are worth anythingI would like to start out by saying this app is easy to use they go through instructions on how to use it when you first download the app and then it smooth sailing from there. Now for the real review the only reason I’m giving this app 3 stars is because when I was a new dasher it went great. I was getting orders I could go out whenever I wanted this really helped me out. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end apparently because after two weeks they stopped giving me high paying orders and only let me dash for a half hour and that’s not even worth the gas you lose without those high paying orders. If anyone is on the fence about dashing you should totally go for it but only for the first 2 weeks after that they want you to schedule but they don’t offer you anything or if they do it’s very little. This company pushes you to the side and only cares about new drivers coming in. I spent hours trying to work this out with support even got up to support supervisor she was very nice but stated there’s nothing anyone can do this is just how it is. I wanted to dedicate myself and do this full time but unfortunately like I stated before they only want new drivers to keep this coming in they don’t care about you after you work for the 2 weeks. I will keep checking back to see if anything changes but unfortunately this is just where we are. I’ll be looking for a new app that cares about their drivers who actually want to put in the effort not just a quick side gig..Version: 2.319.0
Dashing….First of all, I love DD i work overnights which is easier for me, but one thing i will say, I find the gps to be a problem. It will send the dasher to wrong entrances even addresses it will also send U in circles even if the route is at a dead end, just find your way around it. I suggest U let the customer know the how the GPS does this because it is not the drivers fault! Always keep in touch with your customer, ALSO a tip IF u have an order that has been picked up/cancelled etc. DO NOT UNASSIGN, pull to the side and Call dasher support and they will unassign for you and U will Get half pay. If U unassign before calling u will not get payed. ALSO there are places like MCdonalds that have a shift change early mornings where they are only taking breakfast but lunch orders are still being received, I learned not to deny the orders that are coming in from DD EVEN IF THE restaurant isn’t taking them at the time, Just accept them and call DD to let them know Ur at the restaurant, That way U can get half pay at least, because if U deny while still in route your ratings will drop! Just ACCEPT them, it isn’t the drivers fault anyway. ALSO be sure to let the dasher app know while you may be having a long wait time. So it isn’t counted against U. It’s all about communication. Be nice n respectful when dropping off your orders. Keep at least 2 delivery bags with you it really comes in handy! I always keep a cup holder in mine as well. Also, Take pictures of the delivery even if you handed your order to the customer. HAPPY DASHING.Version: 2.397.0
Fun but app could be a bit better for dashersI like the extra $ and it’s a decent gig but I feel that door dash shouldn’t allow the customer to do a no tip. I get them quite often from the same customers and I’m always on time or earlier. Make sure they have extra sauces. Napkins. Etc and I’m always polite and still get nothing from it. Dashers drive their own personal cars to make sure the customer gets their food and we use our own gas to make it happen. 3$ a trip isn’t worth delivering to people ordering 40-60$ of food and we have to go the extra mile for nothing basically. I feel that door dash can implement something on if you order either a lot of food and or a high price amount then the customer is required to tip. Also regarding if a store is indefinitely closed. They should make it easier to know what button to click to say you can’t do the order and not be docked acceptance because it not being your fault. If you click stores closed it should prompt you to say is it closed or closed indefinitely and then take you to the proper area if it’s indefinitely. Other than that. I’ll continue to do this as a side gig because it’s not hard and easy $. Also I think door dash should do a rewards program on for every order you do you get points to get door dash merchandise to help with deliveries either it be better bags. Drink holders. Shirts. Etc. Would boost people to push for helpful items and or personal merchandise..Version: 2.50.0
App updateThe current app update is not favorable to dashers that drive at night. Talking about drivers safety, an example is i am dasher that worked from 6:00 PM to about 12:30 AM, that being able to contact the customer in time of delivery is a risk that I consider. I often get deliveries to places either it’s pitch dark, no house number or just in the middle of no where. Not being able to contact the customer poses a more risk when delivering at night, just parked in the middle of nowhere, waiting after I texted the customer , or I contacted customer service and was told for three minutes is just a waste of time and risky. I had an experience before that I pulled into someone’s drive way knowing that the guides me to the right house , all I heard was someone engaging a shot gun, I reverse so fast that I was so worried of getting shot at. From that time I have learned to call the customer and make sure that I have permission to enter his drive way and to ensure that I am on the right house , sometime I deliver to ranch houses in Alpine, CA that have a long driveway before you get closer to the house . I am feel more confident delivering and being able to talk to the person receiving his or her order. The current app update not being able to talk to customer especially delivering at night past 10:00 PM poses risk to the customer, or dropping off an order to the wrong house just like what happened tonight..Version: 2.281.1
Delivery delay of something happen badIt’s a delivery that sometimes delay cox something happen in the car needed air in the tire or needed to change the tire or bad snow storm but still working to delivered to the customer they don’t suppose to be proud with the driver that work hard even in a cold weather still working out there whom the company will be proud to those driver how about the restaurant for waiting cox the food is not ready that’s one more thing delaying the delivery how about this they are missing item in the delivery it’s not the drivers fault cox the bag is close we cannot open it some drinks inside the bag when you order in mc Donald’s drinks we try to give to the right person when you have 2 delivery in your app that delay the delivery too cox you have to wait one order then wait for the second order delivered the first order then go to the next order to delivered some customer they think you are delaying it but they don’t know you are delivered 2 order they don’t know unless you message the customer then they understand there’s a lot of things that sometimes delay delivery cox something happen bad or mild that’s why the driver always messages the customer what happen how about this you tell what happen to the customer in the customer fell sorry for you give me tip 20 dollars or 8 dollars for telling my situation.Version: 2.360.0
I DO LOVE BEING A DASHERBut….the honeycomb grids on the maps could use some work-a lot of work actually-and GPS has cost me a significant drop in my ratings because the app has added streets where there wasn’t any causing me to be late delivering a pizza by 23 minutes… Currently gasoline is $3.75 a gallon in my area and is expected to rise to $5 a gallon before summer’s end because of this crazy feuding going on in the Middle East! Rewards are only available to Platinum Dasher’s (which I have achieved, but could never hold onto it giving my last 30 day count fluctuation always falls and never has went up. Making $40 in 2 hours in my small town is what’s considered a good day, but now that I am close to 200 all time deliveries I might make $5 a day. It’s a joke sometimes really that I have to turn down orders that offer me only $4-$5 to drive an hour round trip. It doesn’t even pay my gas and yet affects my ratings significantly! I think once you get so far that the app knowingly slows down to almost a complete halt, never actually allowing you to hold Platinum status! Something’s got to be up with that! A few things I do like… the flexibility to pause and schedule dashes! To be able to have passengers ride along and theres no hassle of having a person to answer to but the overall plus is that you can dash anytime & for as long as you want! Gas reimbursement is a SAD JOKE as well!.Version: 2.421.0
Mileage Tracker?????I do not understand why the app does not have a built in mileage system. I have been on a goose chase trying to find where I can locate my mileage for my first dash. This is my first side gig so I was not aware that I had to track my mileage (a reminder in the app to track your miles would be helpful) and it would count as deductions on taxes (I’m still doing my research on that, I’m still new to this). The app is really no help when it comes to mileage, it just gives you a “dashed time” and an “active time” which makes it near impossible to get an accurate estimate. I tried to manually calculate my total mileage for my first dash but the app wipes the drop off location once you deliver the order which I understand is for privacy reasons but LET ME CALCULATE MY MILES!!! In the earnings tab, it only gives you the amount you earned for each dash, but not the miles you drove for that dash. It is a bit frustrating when you just want to calculate everything manually but you just can’t. Also, I found this out after I finished a days worth of deliveries so I didn’t have the routes saved in ANY apps. I use the in-app gps which is google maps but it is NOT synced to your google maps app which would have been helpful because you can at least look up your timeline of where you traveled for that day ON google maps (the app). I would highly recommend getting an app that can track your miles and do the tax estimations because it is a nightmare trying to find all of the documents you need since the IRS is very particular with what information you present about these things. If anyone has any helpful information, please help..Version: 2.236.0
Pay is hardly ever worth the timeThe company of door dash is doing extremely well, but dashers are paid little more than slave labor, especially after gas, insurance & vehicle wear & tear are calculated. It’s nice to have the option for some extra cash when needed, and I love that I can just log in & work whenever I want to, but they really need to pay at least double what they pay dashers. Regarding the new completion rate requirements, it really needs to be made much more clear in the offer screen how far away the drop off location is from the pickup location. I have unassigned myself from several deliveries immediately after accepting an offer because when I’m able to actually see how far the drive will be, it often doesn’t even cover the gas expense, and definitley doesn’t come close to compensating for the time. There are times when it has actually costs me more to deliver an order than I actually get paid. This negatively affects the completion rate. If they are going increase the completion rate requirement, they should also increase transparency on the offer screen so it’s easy to tell in the 20 seconds we have to make the decision, whether it’s actually worth it to accept. Accepting an order just to arrive at the restaurant and find out it’s closed also shouldn’t affect completion rate, but it does, even when you send a photo to prove that you aren’t lying..Version: 2.312.0
Generally works, but can alienate driversWhile I think using Dasher is a good way to make some money on your own time, it does not do well of supporting the drivers. To start, the map algorithm that detects when you should drop of the order is not good and rarely accounts for traffic well. Delivering in a city, the amount of time to deliver an order can flux drastically based on rush hour traffic and I got a contract violation for delivering late when I followed the route on the map but was caught in heavy traffic. Furthermore, if you are completing an order at the end of your dash and another pops is to add to your route, your acceptance score should not be effected by denying the order. I was completing the first of two orders already last my scheduled dash time, and I got two order requests to add to my existing order. Because my dash time was already up, I had to decline both and my acceptance score was negatively impacted. While I understand the purpose, I already believe the concept of an acceptance score is a bit inconsiderate to the drivers. When the reliable threshold is 80%, denying two orders in a row can really hurt your score. Lastly, some of the base pays are extremely low and not worth it, especially with gas so expensive. I received a $2 order that if I declined would hurt my acceptance score, but if I accepted meant I had to spend the next 20 minutes delivering an order that averages out to $6 an hour. DoorDash should fix these problems for their drivers ASAP..Version: 2.226.0
Door DasherBeen a door dasher since End of September 2024. The feeling is flat, gives you your money same day. Driver support is very helpful, app is easy to use. Cant really start when you want, have to wait for orders and drive far to the red zones to get offers before they disappear. Out of 2 months i got $2 more in a $4 order Door dash payed $2 customer $2, was 45min in total to get to the restaurant and drive to customer which drives you 30min away from red zone on each deliver and one tipped me $10 more, that customer was very generous it was a $8.75 drive for 35minutes, Door Dash payed$2.75 the rest was customer, sometimes DD pays $5 and customer $5, sometimes DD pays $5 and customer $2. Door Dash doesn't really pay drivers much, they pay $2 mostly and max is $5, the rest is customer tip any extra tip is because customer tipped extra, not because Door Dash payed you the total you see on the screen. I did today on thanksgiving 79miles for $29, Wednesday was 117miles for $130 because of the 2 extra tips, Tuesday was $70 for 96miles. I filled my tank $76 on Tuesday and have to refill today Thursday. Door Dash does not pay per mile, nor trip. Per hour is pointless if there is no order with in that hour, im sure by bike you make leg, but not very much seen by DD company either. Im not sure if other people count or measure thats why their reviews are great. But if they sat down to count it would make more sense to everyone. But besides that, the feeling is basic..Version: 2.351.0
Well organized but could use improvement! The app is well organized and allows dashers to have more freedom and flexibility. The UI is slightly outdated and the app crashes randomly. Recently, the app will crash when I end dashes. It also has navigation struggles and trouble loading the navigation. It lags and stutters. But my main reason for writing this review has nothing to do with stability. It’s more about safety. When the app gives you an offer to pick up an order, the map is often misleading. I will think I’m going to a safe area then suddenly I’ll find out it’s in an extremely unsafe town or area. It would be really helpful if the offers could detail the towns that the restaurants AND the homes are in, even if you have to click for more details. As a female dasher, this a major concern. I try to avoid areas that could pose a problem, but sometimes I’m not 100% sure where I’m going. On top of that, if dashers could blacklist certain towns from their region, that could be helpful. I hope this suggestion is taken into account because it would absolutely be a game changer for me because declining orders affects my acceptance percentage. Overall, the app brings customers and dashers together fairly well, keeps communication open, and allows dashers to make some cash. However, the app is glitchy and needs stability improvements. It also could be more helpful if it gave dashers more information about the deliveries BEFORE they accept..Version: 2.250.1
Dasher app reviewThe Dasher app does pretty well but of course as with anything there will be outages due to loss of Internet connectivity which is not yall’s fault of course but the app platform can also crash... when that happens I wish there was an Internet site that we could go to to continue dashing because one time the app crashed and I no longer had the address to deliver the order. I like the fact that we receive text messages when we receive a delivery opportunity (although I have not received those texts for a couple of days???) it would be nice to include the delivery address in a text after you accept the opportunity so there isn’t any interruption during that delivery. I’ve also had the app log me out of my scheduled dash several times. Apparently my scheduled dash got paused without my knowledge and without my clicking the pause button. I have received pop-up notifications warning me that my dash was paused and will be ended soon so I was able to resume my dash via that pop-up message so I don’t know if that was a fix in the app for the pause issue (?) or if the pop up warning only works intermittently or what the situation is on that but it’s very frustrating. it would be helpful to us if there was a screen that said “are you sure you want to delete your dash?” because I inadvertently deleted an 8 hour dash one day and was unable to dash for the remainder of the day Do y’all have a functional test plan to follow during your testing cycle? And who tests the app? Just wondering if you have actual dashers test? Overall the app is well developed and planned out..Version: 2.8.0
So Many Issues1.) I keep getting a notification that says “Wrong Order Reported” and when all of my orders are SEALED there is no way for me to verify every single item. I don’t think it’s affecting my rating, but I feel like this is an issue that should be between the customer and the store. I check my receipts and I’m not grabbing orders with the wrong name. Either put something in place for the stores to double check or don’t seal bags. Otherwise, I can’t doing anything about it. 2.) I constantly get orders that take me out of my delivery area. I feel like, if I end up outside of my area, that defeats the purpose. I had to drive an hour to get back home after a recent delivery because I ended up two cities away. 3.) There needs to be a button to end a dash after a delivery. There’s a giant “Continue Dashing” button but to end my dash, I have to dismiss that pop up, answer or dismiss the question asking how the delivery went, open settings, then hit the “End Dash” button and in the time it takes to do that, I get another delivery and either have to deliver longer than I intended or take a hit to my acceptance rate. And lastly, no offense to support, they do their job, but support calls are outsourced to places that don’t have DoorDash so I feel they lack some level of perspective and the scripts they follow just feel so disingenuous. I am grateful for the opportunity to earn cash on the fly, but I would love some QOL (quality of life changes).Version: 2.428.0
HAS ISSUESNow that I have been doing this for a few weeks I can give some feedback. To start the app has glitches, it can freeze in the middle of your shopping which causes delays and then of course makes you late. The camera doesn’t always capture images properly or send them in the messaging to customers. A lot is at stake depending what area you’re in with bad reception. I have been in stores where I had to keep going outside to get messages from customer or turn of and back in phone, all of which takes time away from completing batches. I think the app gives sometimes unexpected ideas of how long a shopping should take ESPECIALLY when you’re shopping 2-3 batches at same time and are having to message 2-3 customers at same time for unavailable and replacing items. Instacart wants you to shoot more for replacing items but not all customers like that, I know I don’t if I want a specific brand such as organic stuff. I would say if you’re going to do this be patient with yourself and honestly Instacart needs to change their navigation system which they use Waze and I rather use the Maps app in my phone. Also when you look at batches you need to consider how far away you are from that store because it doesn’t take that into account when they display the total mileage of the batch. You really don’t make as much money because in the end you consume a lot of time shopping, plus add the time spent on line if store is busy. I will test it out for another couple months but may not do this for long, it’s a lot of wear and tear in car for little return..Version: 2.216.0
Great until they deactivate your account with no explanationFor 18 months I worked full time as a “dasher,” over time I quickly earned the “top dasher” rating and was very satisfied with the overall experience as an employee. I considered trying other ride gig opportunities but stayed with DoorDash as felt the company properly allocated their time in helping their “dashers.” (Btw I had a 4.99 rating out of 5 stars, 100% acceptance & completion rating & a 94% deliver on time rating). During my last delivery with the company, while on the road heading to a customer, my account was reset & deactivated. I was unable to fulfill my customers order as I no longer had their destination & told by Dasher Support that I had no choice but to not complete my customers order & return home with their purchased items. Dasher Support had also informed me that after viewing my ratings, they themselves were unable to determine why this deactivation even occurred, that I could file an appeal & that I could “keep” the customers items that I was now unable to deliver to as I no longer had their address to find on GPS. The appeal I filed was quickly denied and DoorDash has refused any further explanation or any evidence at all that would susbstantiate any reasoning behind their decisions to deactivate my account. I’ve never felt more confused & mistreated as a now former employee of DoorDash and I only recommend the app for users who are not planning on doing ride gig in a full time capacity. Uber Eats, Instacart; I literally recommend ANY & EVERY other application that is out there & available. Two thumbs down & shame on you DoorDash! 😤.Version: 2.247.1
Couple fixes1. When u have a dash scheduled, u should be able to reschedule it to any time. I guess it doesn’t allow if a dash is not needed at that time. But that’s not right, I still wanna dash in that time frame, but maybe need and extra 30 minutes before etc. if u have it scheduled from 10 am to 10 pm for example, I should be able to change it to 11 am to 10 pm, rather than having to delete it altogether and now my only option is 4-6 pm for example. Needs to be fixed 2. There’s too many times lately where dashers aren’t needed. Idrg the idea of not needing dashers anyway. That’s the name of the game, if u don’t get an order u don’t get an order that’s the risk of dashing, but to not allow me to dash if I wanna dash because u don’t feels it’s needed, is stupid, and then literally in 2 seconds an opening might appear, doesn’t make sense. Or if u have a certain amount of dashes you should qualify for “dash whenever”. The acceptance rate is a horrible way to decide that. Would u accept 10 orders in a row for $3 for 7 miles? Yea me neither, so because I’m smart I get penalized on the acceptance rate and now I’m not a top dasher? 3. No order should be blow $5, idc how short it is. There’s no excuse. It’s ridiculous, cuz yeah maybe it’s 1 miles drive, but did u factor if there’s a delay at the resteraunt? Delay with the customer? App problems? Now I’ve literally almost just made $3 for an hour or 45 minutes? Yea I’m exposing lol 4. That’s it for now.Version: 2.260.0
WalmartDoorDash is a good opportunity for me and I like the independent schedule. I have just one complaint: you cannot set preferences for not going to certain stores. I’d like to see a way for Dashers to put a “do not accept orders from: x store” type setting so that orders we won’t take are not given to us. That way we don’t have to decline them, drop our ratings, and have the order take longer to find a willing Dasher. Walmart would be my #1 and only store I’m not willing to go to. With how the system is currently, I’m essentially being punished for Walmart’s problems. Oh, Walmart’s an hour late getting you the order? Well, you’ll have to wait unless you want to drop your completion score, but waiting means you loose your on time measure too. I’ve had this exact situation happen. Not to mention all the $3 orders which waste my time and cost more in gas than I’m getting in wages. Few Walmart customers tip, making most orders a measly $3 or maybe if you’re lucky $3.50 no matter how far away they are. I’ve had lots of orders I’ve declined that were $3.50 to go 10+ miles and delivery over 100 grocery items. No thanks! So please, let us have a option for Dashers to set a limited number of “will not go to this store” so our ratings aren’t affected and customers can get to willing dashers faster. I’ve had enough horrible experiences to never take another Walmart order, even if my ratings plummet. I’m sad that this one negative is heavily weighting down my otherwise positive experience as a DoorDasher..Version: 2.154.0
The company and app are flawedThe ratings tier system determines the quality of deliveries which dictates how much you make is flawed. On time determined by google maps but doesn’t account for red lights. Even if you catch all green lights you still have to go above the speed limit to make on time. The navigation provided is the worst I’ve seen. The Acceptance rate will cause you to lose money on deliveries due to needing to accept 2$ to drive 5 miles, wasting 20 minutes. The acceptance screen has a map that shows the route but it is programmed to only show it for a couple seconds before it says try again. It will show you the wrong location sometimes too. Shoppers are penalized for store items not having tags, seasonal items, and poor store organization. And Marissa! What a joke she is, she cost me more time and money than stores with no tags. You can get unassigned without pay after handling problems at restaurants. You can get a violation of contract by loosing reception also. Then dispute, lose money, lots of time and become extremely irritated. These are just some of the many issues with this app and DD. However, DD still owes me money for a trip over a month ago when support failed to change delivery address and I got .60$ for an hour and 20 miles of driving. The only good thing about them will have to be when compared to Uber. At least DD pretends they care about customers and drivers. BTW I am platinum tier.Version: 2.431.0
PLEASE BE AWAREDoorDash has changed the pay on batched orders WITHOUT telling us drivers!!! It started sometime on July 20th. Since then they are batching orders and not paying the $2 per restaurant or $4 per shopping base pay on pay per off. PLEASE GO BACK AND LOOK AT ALL THE BATCHED ORDERS YOU HAVE COMPLETED since July 20th and I guarantee you’ve been shorted. After I completed a batched double order for 2 restaurants and 2 separate delivery addresses I was paid $4.06. That is including a $2 tip. So, they paid me $2.06 BASE PAY for the 2 separate pickups and deliveries. If we have a contract violation we could get fired, but THEY ARE IN CLEAR VIOLATION of the the contract at this point specifically the base pay agreement. Today was the 6th batch delivery I’ve had since the 20th that had been shorted. I checked my daily earnings reports and prior to July 20th all batched order were paid out correctly. It started July 20th sometime in the afternoon and they have been doing it to EVERYONE!!! I know it’s not just me!!! Please fellow Dashers, friends, coworkers - Call and complain!!! WE MUST STAND UP FOR OURSELVES!!! They already pay the bare minimum and now this? WITHOUT notifying us about the changes!?? THEY ARE STEALING OUR BASE PAY FROM UNDER OUR NOSES and they don’t care if we notice. Has anyone ever gotten paid $1.06 for a delivery? It’s violating the terms of their part of the agreement!!! PERIOD.Version: 2.335.0
It's good until...I started dashing last year and so far it has been ok. My only problem is I do not feel it is fair that I decline a low paying order (Chic fil A =$3.50, no tip, drive distance 10 miles) i get dinged for it. I should be able to choose the orders that will benefit me driving the distance and not beening taking advantage of. My% drops horrible when I don't take these orders and I feel that isn't fair. There should be a standard price on distance and what people are paying to drive that distance. No one wants to spend 30 minutes driving for no tip and a $5 order. Sometimes you end up in places that you have a fear for then you cant reach the customer and being told you have to wait. I'm sorry but this is a danger issue. I feel if I have been trying to contact the customer and no response and you can see I have been I should be able to leave the area. I was in one area where in broad daylight someone just stated walking and shooting. At night it's not safe to sit and wait because people set people up or you are a target to get car jacked and robbed. I always let the customer know my ETA and ask them to cut on a light so I can see the door numbers because it's faster for me to get in and out. DoorDash I feel some things need to be changed. A great app but also a hazard when you try to deliver and being told to wait another 5-10 minutes before you can leave. Also sometimes the phone numbers are unusable. I have to actually call the company you reach the customer. Please stop penalizing us for not wanting to take a low paying orders with high milage as this is the way of life for some drivers..Version: 2.311.0
SuggestionIf “we” the dashers could somehow make a personal profile for the people in our community and are available times even if they vary day to day (like our personal calendar for our individual open windows of opportunity to be of assistant to our community) and for customers to have the opportunity to choose the dasher available at the time they would like, I think it would be a greater opportunity for both the dasher and the customer. Some customers order takeout on a regular basis, some customers don’t have the transportation to go grocery shopping on the regular, or run errands themselves. So I think it would be more fulfilling to have aParticular person to be able to run errands for them. All in all it would help EVERYONE in our community to work together efficiently. Bringing the community together a little better! And single moms or families that need an income but can’t afford to pay for childcare well they could build their own personal profileBeing open to their community for services as well being able to afford their bills while working for their community. And for the dashers that would like to make it a full-time job would get the most use out of it,Profile they can explain what they’re single mom and then might have a two year old runaround with them but they’re willing and able to do the errands for them, or what not..Version: 2.253.0
Fair but not worth itListen, I never write reviews. But I figured someone deserved to know. If gas was like two dollars cheaper, this would be a great little side hustle. But DoorDash pays you the absolute bare minimum they possibly can. You have to rely solely on people‘s tips and not a lot of people like to tip. And it shouldn’t be a requirement for people to tip at all(should only be common courtesy). But the only reason people who DoorDash get upset at people for not tipping is because that’s literally their main income. And it really influences your order because if you don’t tip, they usually get about three dollars to four dollars at best. And a lot of people don’t like to accept those orders. Sometimes people take advantage of your lopaying order and steal your food or something worse. All in all, it’s not the door Dasher or orderers fault, it’s just DoorDash being greedy. When you DoorDash, you really are just earning what you spent in gas. You have to do over at least eight orders in order to make even a couple bucks on the side. If you have a high-paying job and do this on the side, go for it. But you can’t do this by itself. you would think that when you accept an order from a hotspot and it takes you to a really far distance, that they would compensate you for that. But they really only tack on an extra dollar or two. Not only does this seem like a waste of gas, but a waste in time. just consider this before you sign up..Version: 2.239.0
Customers need to be held accountable!!!I’ve been dashing for almost a year now and I can tell you… The number one thing that makes me want to quit is customers not tipping, but also customers lying and saying that they never receive their meals. I had a customer try to argue with me after I drove 20 minutes out of my district to deliver their food, and have an issue with me, letting them know that I was outside. And most cases if the customer has waited a long time, they will generally walk outside and pick up their meal from the car, and sometimes they don’t tip but when a customer selects “hand it to me” a lot of times you have to walk all the way up three flights of stairs after you’ve driven so far away, only to not be tipped. And then the customers sometimes have the nerve to lie, and say that they never receive their order which not only affects us as a Dasher because we get contract violations and risk being deactivated and not being able to DoorDash for extra money throughout the week, but it also affects the merchants, and a lot of these restaurant owners have been complaining to me about people trying to basically steal food off of DoorDash. So I make sure to take pictures, and I make sure to get my photos, but I’ve had a few contract violations that have put me at risk of being deactivated simply because the customer lied. And it’s not fair to DoorDashers because we put so much wear and tear on our cars, we’re driving in harsh conditions, we are risking driving so far out-of-the-way to not be tipped or the only be tipped two dollars or one dollar, and that does not equate the amount of time and effort and energy that we put into being a Dasher..Version: 2.324.0
There is no where else to leave this app feedback so I guess I do it here?So I just drove 3 miles to the store I was going to shop my order at to get unassigned, because the “I don’t have red card” button is so close to the phones home button. When I was switching back to the dasher app from stopping my Everlance trip, I pressed where the “start shopping” button should be, but my finger accidentally grazed the “I don’t have red card” button on the way and the “start shopping” button I thought I was pressing turned into an “unassign order” button that didn’t even ask me if I was sure to give a chance to go back. It just wiped the order off my screen instantly. It would be better if the “unassign order” button would pop up somewhere different than where the “start shopping” button is, or if there could be another screen asking if you are sure about unassigning the order, or if it could just get rid of the “I don’t have red card” button from my app in general since it doesn’t even make sense as I have a digital doordash red card now that if I have my phone then I have it, and if I am dashing then I obviously have my phone. It would also be nice if there was somewhere in the app to leave general feedback about the app that doesn’t require a support session so there is a better place to report this type of stuff than here..Version: 2.315.0
DoorDasher hereI am a Paralegal and I started dashing pastime nearly 2 years ago and I’ve recently decided to take it to the next level and become a full time dasher and I absolutely love this job. Meeting people and driving around making everyone gets the joy of food is very rewarding. I also appreciate the that dasher help assists us dashers with and I really like the bonuses. I couldn’t be happier anywhere else. Not even the law office I previously worked at. DoorDashing is amazing. This is my second review, and I would like to say that I very much enjoy door dashing. I was diagnosed with MS recently, and I was unable to work my job as a Paralegal and for department of children and families when I was diagnosed, I was unable to work full-time at my professional job so I decided to start DoorDashing and this is the way that I am able to survive financially to be able to buy groceries, pay my bills, and pay for my medication and copays. DoorDash has saved my life financially, and I am forever grateful and any time I’ve ever needed dasher support. I have been treated with kindness, and I think this is what I will do for the rest of my days working I appreciate DoorDash. I am very grateful. Thank you all so much. DoorDashing is a blessing I’m very grateful for. I would love to someday become a remote work from home DoorDash support specialist..Version: 2.264.0
THIS APP NEEDS REVIVING!!!Used to enjoy driving as a dasher till everything started becoming customer based. Customers get free deliveries, coupons off orders and deliveries, don’t have to tip…the list goes on. I’ve called and have wrote many reviews expressing my feelings as a degraded driver and not much has seemed to change. Drivers are still treated as full time employees the way we’re held accountable for our acceptance rate and completion rating all while being given orders for $2 and change to $3 and change going many miles. Orders crossing town lines or even state lines sometimes for only a mere base pay and no tip. This is a service based app where real people are making real time deliveries using their gas and vehicles for customers who are free delivery and no tip, how is that fair?!! I’m not saying a giant gratuity should be added to every order, but an automatic one based off order size(what customer paid) would be VERY VERY appropriate, would make drivers feel rewarded and worth it again! The cash back on the dasher card is nice don’t get me wrong and the (+)pay orders is a nice new incentive, but maintaining an above 50% acceptance rate is very hard when there is no promos going and orders pour in for minimum base pay over and over. I’d hate to stop using the dasher app, but it’s either gonna come to that or I’m gonna be deactivated for poor acceptance rate and that isn’t right either. Sincerely with deep concerns, A fed up dasher.Version: 2.253.0
Not sure how to title this....nor rate at this timeVery frustrated & disappointed to wake up this morning & find my account deactivated stating I have committed referral fraud in which have absolutely no clue in how I could have possibly done this. I have only sent out a referral email & one on Facebook each once to my personal email contacts & FB personal friends/acquaintances thru DoorDash link provided in this specific app... how does that go against the rules? I have put in my appeal along with then sent an email back once receiving an email stating that they received my appeal & that I could respond to that specific email & once I did that I got a “delivery failure”stating I may not be in that group allowed to post in or the group was removed... I do not feel I have done anything against any rules/wrong whatsoever & have only done 2 days worth of deliveries & just got a bit more comfortable & was getting more excited to the opportunity to make the extra much need funds. I’m just a simple single mother trying to make ends meet not anything by no means excessive or wrong but was looking forward to for example the $20 bonus challenge given only needed 4 more deliveries to achieve it & had 2 days to achieve & if I can’t get reactivated in time I am going to lose out over something I don’t feel was my fault. Not to mention feel embarrassed for it being considered fraud....that’s an awful strong accusation....Version: 2.112.0
Great income jobThis app for being a dasher allows you to improve your customer service skills, gives you a chance to meet new people and see them happy with receiving items. It pays very well, and it’s worth taking a chance. It does take time and effort to build your account up though or to rebuild it up. In order to maintain platinum status you have to do 100 deliveries a month but it’s worth it. And people it’s really easy to keep it up, you just have to do your part. Always greeting customers with a smile, and always keeping up communication also with updates will help to keep your high ratings and etc. You get what effort you put into it like any job. I’ve been using door dashing as my platform aside from other various jobs to help take care of my family for the last 2 years. The only thing I wish they had was a way to pay the taxes out of your income after so many deliveries. But according to what I read online you are suppose to go back and pay taxes every quarter of the year to prevent overhaul of taxes and penalties when tax time comes. So make sure you’re paying your taxes for 15.3% of your income every few months on the IRS website to prevent issues the following year. It doesn’t take too much away to pay your taxes if your maintaining platinum status.Version: 2.400.0
My experience.Doordash is good for when you want to make extra little bit of cash. What’s unfortunate is that your points go down if you’re late picking up or delivering an order, when the restaurant sometimes don’t even have people at the counter ready to attend either the customer, or the Dasher. Which then makes the entire order and experience late. There are times when we have the $1.50 bonus, but I’ve noticed that I really don’t get any much more than before not having the bonus. So, when there’s a bonus I would make maybe $22 in 4 deliveries, without the bonus $22 in 3 deliveries. I like it because I really can just DoorDash whenever I want, and most of the time the restaurants are ready, and they don’t look at you weird. Today was my first time declining an order because literally two workers passed by me, and they didn’t acknowledge me standing there waiting for them to greet me, I had to literally call for one of them and they still ignored me. Also I would like to just not deliver for people who don’t tip. That’s one of my pet peeve‘s because even though I’m not a person with a lot of money, I always tip I said thank you, a demonstration, it’s known for being grateful for their customer service. Most people do that even if they’re poor, I know it’s not mandatory to tip, but I had a customer who didn't tip, I just would like an option to click on people who did not tip to not deliver for that person again, also when I did that delivery it was $4 in my pocket during the one $1.50 bonus peak time, and I actually communicate to my customers by text when I’m on my way to their address-- not worth it and it was total of 6 mile drive..Version: 2.8.0
Worth the read! INFORMATIVEI will say it’s nice to get up when I’m bored and make extra money or the times when I actually need the money it’s handy but the app has some major issues that will only bring the app down. Dashing can be only frustrating and time wasting sometimes especially when a customer leaves 0 tip on a 10 mile order it is a waste of my time. They should not offer 0 tip when the whole app is based on them ordering food and paying someone to bring it to them and people very much so abuse being able to leave no tip and DoorDash will offer the same order to you 2-3 times trying to get you to take it when it’s not worth it. Another thing is when it says it’s busy and I start dashing and I drive to the middle of town and park and 30 mins pass and I get no order only to be kicked from dashing and it is no longer busy in my area that’s very annoying and time wasting. I also know DoorDash offers it’s dashers $2 per order ( in my area may be different other places ) but they are not even matching the lowest gas prices in town that’s just something small but annoying. My experience may be different from yours but this app and experience brings me a lot of frustration and a lot of time wasted. If you do dash keep everything written down ( your mileage, gas, earnings, how much to spend on gas from dashing ) at the end of the year that will be very helpful with writing things off on your taxes! This is a great app if you live in a busy area and get decent offers. The extra money is nice just be careful because it might waste more of your time instead of helping you..Version: 2.357.0
Needs major improvementsLet me start off by saying that DoorDash pays way better than uber! That’s the main reason for my 3 star. HOWEVER! It needs to improve the way it pays out its drivers. Uber only charges .50 cents for instant payout while doordash charges $1.99 and I’ve added my card several times and I still don’t have an option for instant pay. They really need to work on fixing this. Another thing is I don’t know if it’s a slow month or not but they are hardly sending any orders, I’m a 5 star top performer and I’m out driving and receive little to no orders, for that reason I have been doing uber because I cannot afford to be out driving and wasting my gas. Please note that I always go during dinner so no it’s not because I’m going during non-busy hours!! Almost all fast-food locations should be removed from doordash, we don’t have time to wait over 15 minutes in the drive-thru, we lose money when we end up having to wait for the order, I wish doordash would understand this. The fast food locations I have the most issues with are POPEYES #1, BURGER KING, WENDYS, AND MCDONALDS. PLEASE REMOVE THEM OR DEMAND THEM TO OPEN THEIR DINING ROOM FOR PICK-UPS OR CHARGE CUSTOMERS AN EXTRA FEE FOR PICKING UP FROM FAST-FOOD CHAINS. And lastly, tip should be a requirement, there’s no way I’m going to drive over 5 miles for $2-$5 order, that is just a no! The minimum tip should be AT LEAST $3 and even then I will consider accepting the order..Version: 2.209.0
First time I got cheatedI was thinking DoorDash was a honest group. My orders were pretty fair as a lot goes into our car and time as dashers. I know they use to take the tip money and play them into the drivers payments. For the first time I noticed how they are now doing that with the “peak or “promo pay” I was noticing 7$ and 5$ orders I said to myself how can there be a 2$ promo and the whole order only be 5$ that would mean the base pay is 3$ and I know I never have and never will accept a 3 $ order. Anyway I’m until now I thought we were finally getting paid for work but a 3$ order in California lol gas alone to do the trip cost 4 so why would anyone lose money for you guys? What a shame it is now I never even had to look at my pay bc u guys. We’re on it and fair and paid what we should get but I think with a 2$ promo running I had 3 orders all that were 3$ base comon greedy to say the least. All I can ask is plz try to be honest don’t put a promo if ur not doing promo prices. Understand we are in cali every order should be at leader 10$ but min is 7 or not worth it we would be loosing money. But certainly don’t mislead and con on the promos I don’t know why y’all just started the conning on them as u we’re keeping it legit. Oh well I’m sure I will be reading about this one soon how doordash uses fake promos to intisce drivers. And if u could actually give me some extra pay for the lies aand inconvience.Version: 2.208.0
A REALL REVIEW FROM A REAL DASHERWhen you need a little extra cash this is great. But there are (in my opinion) too many cons than pros. I have a gold status dasher, which is second to highest. I have the second to highest priority to higher paying orders. The problem is that there arent any higher paying orders. When i first started most of the orders i was getting were usually under $10, typically ranging around $3-$7 most of the time. Now after having good status for a few months, im literally making the same amount. And on too of that people are greedy and dont like to tip. The most obsurd offer i got was $6 to drive over 20 miles. And yeah you do get a high paying order once in a while, like i got a $20 offer, but i still had to drive from kalamazoo halfway to Grand Rapids, and if your from that area you know how that is. So in a reality sense, your still making a small amount. Doordash doesnt cover gas expenses or wear and tear on your vehicle, and theres just no way you can make enough to cover any car problems. And some may say ,”well pay depends on when and what days”, ive tried every day, and every timeframe. I typically try to dash during peak hours on weekends which is wear i make the most but even then its not much. I dashed for 5 hours the other day and only made about $65. Almost half a full tank of gas was gone too. Thats literally like $13 an hour which is lower than minimum wage..Version: 2.383.0
LETS SEE….I enjoy doing dashes whenever I have time. It’s fun checking out the restaurants that people order from, and looking at the menu. I make a decent amount off dash and I like doing it. Recently reached rankings of being one of the top dashers so I get higher paying deliveries which is nice! But…. The worst deliveries are the ones on base. I don’t have a pass and it takes a while to get a temporary one. That by the time I deliver the food it’s no longer fresh. PLEASE show or have some kind of indication that it’s a bass access delivery! People who order sometimes put it in the notes but we can’t see it till after picking up the order! I stoped for a while because it does put a lot on the car. Then I started getting promotion emails. First for $75 then for $200. Completed the 25 deliveries for $200. Told to wait 5 business days to see it on my account. Ok… waited 5 days to contact them again, just to be told to wait another 5 days!? Don’t send out promotional emails like this if you don’t want to pay up when it’s completed! False advertisement! Glad I took screen shots of everything. Also gas and car maintenance ain’t cheap! ***will edit this rating later if I receive the promotion/ bonus.*** ****Edit**** Almost a month of waiting… had to go through a lot of hassles finally got threw to management and got my pay out! Thank you!!.Version: 2.240.0
System needs some work. For sure. There are a lot of things I like about DoorDash. The opportunity, convenience, & ability to serve & help others who can’t get for themselves. But...From my very first order it seems I was set up for failure. Being sent to restaurants that often were as much as 10 min behind on an order being ready. More than half of those instances I was late delivering as I walked out of the restaurant or soon after. This is especially the case with double orders. Which means from the start I’ve had a low “on time” score. Not ok. Your algorithm for this stinks. Next. If a customer cancels an order after I accept it, or the restaurant cancels for some reason, it most definitely should NOT count as an incomplete on my score. Yet this is happening. Lastly. I’ve seen a lot of young dashers with friends and/or significant others in the car as company to hang out with while they dash. I’ve even had restaurant owners say something to me. I was under the impression this was frowned upon for safety reasons. But especially now..dashers should be warned against doing this since it violates the 6ft rule and puts your customers at risk. I’ve had quite a few restaurants in my area tell me this is a concern. These things above make those of us trying hard to do a good job look bad. As for the rest. The app is great. It’s an awesome opportunity. You asked for my opinion though so I’m being honest. I haven’t had a bad review on my service yet..Version: 2.52.1
Basically kicked offI have been a dasher for over 3 years. So about 3 months ago my account started giving me an error message saying I couldn’t dash because my red card is not activated. So I called into cs and was told to order a new red card. I was extended for 2 weeks to continue dashing until I received my red card. I received the card and I wasn’t able to activate the red card so I called cs and they tried to assist me in the process but were no help. They couldn’t figure out what the problem was so they extended me for another 2 weeks to figure it out. Called back still couldn’t resolve the issue. I was told to order another red card and was extended for another 2 weeks. I received the new card and I’m unable to activate this one as well. Called cs and they couldn’t figure it out. Then they tell me oh you didn’t complete the background process and send my a link to do this. I follow the directions in the email. I get an error message basically saying background more than 1 year old not available. Called cs back they extend me for 2 weeks and try to figure it out. This extending process goes on for a while every 2 weeks. Then my issue was supposedly escalated and someone would get back in touch with me but this time I can’t be extended for some reason. It’s been 2 weeks and a haven’t received any response. So basically I was just kicked off with no explanation..Version: 2.215.11
It’s ok.App is ok. I have issues with the maps. Usually faces in the wrong direction when I start. That’s not too big of an issue. What is an issue is getting an order that’s a 20 minute drive out of your zone and having to drive that 20 min back and not getting anything until you return to your zone. If a restaurant can add a gratuity when a party is a certain size, DD can do the same with a certain distance. When you’re in the middle of traffic, you really can’t see how far it really is and what kind of tip they leave until after you accept and stop at the location. Sometimes even going into another county. And forget about reaching support if you’re a dasher. I called 5 times and the automated thing just kept taking me in circles until it hangs up on you. Chatting, I was able to get someone fast through customer support. Dasher support? Nope. No one answered after waiting 30 minutes. Other than that, it’s been ok. Just don’t know why my deposit for the week was shorted from my actual amount. That’s the reason why I called the support line. Another issue I came across is wait times on food being ready. I keep having to unassign orders because they won’t be ready for 15-20 minutes. I’m not waiting that long for $5. They need to make it so that we won’t receive orders until it’s ready for pick up. Other than that, we’re just waiting time and $6 gas.Version: 2.215.11

Technical issuesSome technical issues in the app while doing dash like…hanging, uploading picture of delivery, unnecessary steps while picking up the orders & most of all when I accept the order in my mobile at the same time restaurant get the order and I have to wait like 15 to 20 minutes sometimes I waited for 30 minutes 😞 if I decline the order my acceptance will decreased & if I unassigned the order my completion rate will decrease 😞 This are the issues to solve 🙏.Version: 2.426.0
