Next big thingSo I’ve been using this app for about a year now. I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s fully functional and the response team is quick and helpful. There is plenty of room to grow and they have been growing steadily since I joined. I’m hopeful they will continue to improve things. There are some glitches between updates and I really wish that everything would sync across devices. However, it’s always fully functional and during the rare crashes which tend to happen when I’m dealing with very large file sizes and probably due to my phones memory being nearly full it manages to save what I’m working on. Impressive App that COULD be INCREDIBLE!Very impressed with the caliber and quality of this application. I’ve only used it for a few days and I look forward to expanding this. I use this for my upscale high end wholesale gemstone business and a designer jewelry business I rep. There are so many poor, cheap apps out there but this is definitely NOT one of those! If you’re after the highest quality with incredible options (like being able to change the display ratio of images) just jump in and do it! The flexibility of this is unmatched from any other apps I’ve seen. I strongly want to up my rating of 4 to 5 but I’d like to suggest to your tech department that you make the app sync between devices and definitely have it display horizontally on an iPad! By doing so you would absolutely OWN THIS SPACE! Your app is FAR SUPERIOR to any other out there and you would completely solidify your position in the market! Great PotentialI really enjoy this app! It allows users to make their stories more appealing and unique. What was once exclusively done with apps like photoshop and premiere has now been simplified and accessible to everyday users! It’s great stuff! My only suggestion for developers and (something future users should take note of) has to do with the limitation on customizing content. Being able to delete and add photo boxes in each template would make this app a game changer. Also having the ability to adjust photo size and animation speed would be choice. I have tried numerous Instagram story editing apps and they all possess the same, or even more limitations. I have yet to come across an app with this many clean template options that also allow for customization! Please consider creating more ways for users to really own and create their own content. Time saver at workHelps so much with my social media promotion. I have access to photoshop and other tools but this one is my go to. It offers so many user friendly templates. I’m not overly creative so my first few projects were pretty cookie cutter but after getting comfortable, I make tons of really cool, unique content. I’m really amazed because It saves so much time and doesn’t cut into the quality of the post. It’s fantastic for all small business! I mean it’s great for everyone especially influencers. No more free music 🥲I’m a social media manager and this app was my lifesaver! It had everything you needed to make great video content, and that included music. I don’t know how long ago this happened but their music selection is no longer available. You use to be able to add top 40 hits onto your video which was amazing for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Now, you have to purchase the individual songs to be able to include them. I’m aware that this likely has to do with royalties, etc but if they offered it before what happened for this feature to be gone? Yes, there’s the royalty free music, but you can get that on any other app for free. Without the music feature, there’s really no point in paying for this app. There are other apps out there that are comparable and cheaper. Sad to be switching! Won’t Upload!! Won’t save !—Update Problem SolvedI have a paid annual subscription and I try to upload to my Instagram or save to my phone after 30 mins of making sure my screen doesn’t close still nothing happens but if I let my screen go black and cut it back on I see a check mark saying it went through but when I go check ...it not saved to my phone or uploaded to my Instagram! Be careful subscribingBe careful paying for a subscription. I went ahead and paid for a year Pro subscription upfront because it was cheaper. At this time, the AI Real / Story maker was included - the reason I paid for the subscription. Then after a couple of months I had to update the app and in order to use the AI feature I had to upgrade to an AI Max subscription. What a total rip off. When I contacted them, their response was - cancel through Apple. I told them I paid upfront for a year to which they replied - maybe there will be changes in the next update. 2 or 3 updates later and no change. DisappointedI talked so highly about this app. Relied on it for all of my business content but for the past two months the app is buggy and won’t download the video. Every time I add a video it just shows a white screen and saves as a frozen still shot. Very frustrating when you spend hours on Content and can’t save any of it. Not fully functional for 3 day trialI downloaded this app to use the templates to make reels. However there is no reel tab on the version I got. I've sent them 3 messages in the app about it but when I exit the app and open it again to check on the status of the message, the message is gone. Love the app, but one terrible hangup!I use this app so much and pay for the pro version! I LOVE the templates and designs and music. My only issue is that when selecting images to use, it freezes when scrolling and I either have to scroll extremely slow or when that doesn’t work, just wait for it to unstick every couple of seconds. Love this appI’ve been using this app for marketing videos for my business for the past couple of months and overall it’s awesome. However, this is the second time I’ve run into the issue of my videos not saving to my camera roll. It says saved on Instories but when I go look for it in my phone photos it’s not there. Simply the best!I was using Mojo and other app until I found Instories. OMG. This is by far the best app I’ve ever used to great stories and post for my social medias. What I liked the most, before Apple changed the rule, was the fact that I could use 30sec for free of any song from ITunes. Now I purchase each song from iTunes in order to use them with my videos and they become available instantly. The only thing that I missed is the ability to sync on all my devices. I am sure the are already working on it. Templates are great and modern. And the app is so easy to use and the UX is at top level. When there is a problem, their customer service replies very quickly. Which is helpful when you are experiencing a little bug or glitch in the app. Keep up the good work. Expecting more for my money #mehSo basically I got suckered into paying for the app during a trial. My fault to not read the fine print. You got me. Very expensive for annual subscription but ok I like templates. This is not the easiest app to learn so I don’t use as often as I should for what I paid for. Potential but needs workThis app definitely has potential but i think somethings need to be tweaked. I purchased a year subscription and was only given 29 credits. Upon my surprise to create one AI reel it takes 5 of those credits. My video was generated and was generated oddly and so I tried to request a simple edit where she grabs the handle that was already provided in the photo and not generate new ones. Best outputs, worst subscription modelI’ve tried a lot of content creation apps for Reels and Stories, and this one honestly gives me some of the best results so far. The AI concepts and templates are strong and I love how easy it is to build branded content. But there is so much room for improvement. The AI often produces errors or lines of text that simply don’t make sense, so I have to redo or heavily edit a lot of what it generates. That would be fine if the pricing model matched the experience, but it really doesn’t. I’m on the Professional subscription, paying the highest tier, and I still have to deal with a very limited credit system for AI tools. Credits expire every week and don’t roll over, so I’m constantly watching the counter instead of just creating. For a pro‑level paid plan, a hard credit cap feels ridiculous. If I’m paying monthly at the top tier, I should have unlimited or at least very generous access to the AI features, not be throttled like a free user.[apple Right now I’m honestly unsure if I’ll keep this as my primary creation tool or go back to apps like Photoleap, Videoleap, or CapCut, which feel more transparent and less restrictive with what you can actually do once you’re paying. Worst app ever! Customer service is horrible!Purchased a 1 year subscription by accident. It was a trial and a monthly trial. The days for the trial went by and they charged me for the yearly subscription and not the monthly one. Even though I never opened the app once. I tried to resolve it with them 3 times. They said only the App Store can. And the App Store denied any requests to receive a refund or change the subscription to a monthly one even so I could then cancel it after that. I do not want the subscription, and have no way to get a refund. I paid through Apple Pay so I cannot dispute it any way besides the App Store. And the App Store tells me that I need to go through the app. So that’s how the app is able to make money from people who don’t cancel the trial. They also do not even give you a full week for the trial like mostly every other app does. I think it was 3 days. This was my worst experience ever with a trial, or with a purchase since I have owned an iPhone….. and that’s going back to when they came out. And that’s saying a lot. I Found 2 Free Templates in 45 min...Lots of, what I assume are, great templates for... everything you could possibly imagine. However, It takes a good while to learn how to work with the app so that you're not super slow. Just the creative options will take a half hour to make something decent. That's good to have a great selection, don't get me wrong, but I'm counting minutes of use. Your not gonna be making anything flashy in under 30-45 minutes for awhile. So, in the amount of time you would give yourself to be comfortable with an app that is charging THAT MUCH, you want to be SURE you can, and will use it... Since youll be paying for a year. I'd Say 3 or 4 template a day for a week before I'd commit. Except you'll run of everything free (that you would want to even use.. Not worth the moneyI saw an ad and gave it to give this app a try. I also signed up for the 3 day free trial (after you get charged +$100 a year for the pro version). Maybe it’s because I’m actually a graphic designer but I really don’t feel this app is worth it. I mainly wanted to use it for some cool reel templates to save me some time and there are really aren’t many at all, and on top of that none of them are really interesting. For story templates I was also interested in checking out options with editable motion graphics. There’s one that I found under the “pride” section, but other than that not much. There are a few things with special effects text but you can’t edit the text. I also have seen any templates or anything resembling what they are using for their one ad where text is integrated into the video of the girl on the horse. Mediocre tbhThis app is honestly mediocre at best. There are basically no free templates available. You have to pay for an incredibly expensive subscription to get any of the good ones. I understand the developers have to make money but they should at least give more features to non pro users. I know of other apps for making Instagram stories and graphic design that can do the same thing (if not 10x better) FOR FREE. Great concept, poor execution due to aggressive paywallThe app looks amazing at first glance—especially the marketing reel showing off AI tools and viral video creation. That’s exactly what caught my attention. I was excited to use it for quick content creation and Reels for my business, but unfortunately, the execution just doesn’t live up to the promise. Despite paying for InStories PRO, nearly every tool I actually wanted to use is locked behind an additional “AI Max” subscription. It feels like a bait-and-switch—pay for PRO, then get asked to upgrade again just to unlock the features you downloaded the app for. Even basic things like trying out the AI video generator or applying a visual effect hit a paywall. There’s no way to preview or test the AI without being funneled into an upsell. If you’re already paying over $100/year, you’d expect at least some hands-on access to AI features. The UI is slick, and the app has potential—but it’s way too fragmented across pricing tiers, and it really kills the user experience. They will scam you‼️Do NOT download this app. Fraudulent practices. They charged me $128 immediately, even though it said I had a seven day trial. It refunded that amount right away, but then charged me $181 because I selected to try the upgraded version for 3 trial days. I cancels within an hour of downloading it as it isn’t something I will use, and then realized after that I was charged. After contacting support, their response was “you already used the trial version in 2019. It gives you a warning when signing up” — WHAT? SIX YEARS AGO? And no, it absolutely did not give me a “warning”. It told me I had a three day trial and then would be charged and I could cancel anytime. I told them there was no warning and I wanted a refund (this has literally only been a couple hours of having the app that I messaged them for a refund) Their customer support was rude and acted as if there was no reason for a refund. It worked well - until it didn’tI’m using this app for the past 8 months, maybe even longer. In the beginning it worked well. Lately, I get messages “Server Error. Try again later” every 5 minutes, can’t really create anything. Searching for stock movies takes a very long time(if they load at all). The biggest annoyance is when I hit “save” and it I get an error message and my work isn’t saved. I already did the “delete app-install again”, didn’t help. The other issue I have with this app is the fact that when I manage to make a story video, 8 out of 10 times when I post my video on FB, I get a “dispute”message from a 3rd party about the stock videos I used in Instories app. Disputing the video changes on FB takes time and frankly, it’s getting annoying. I don’t mind if it happens here and there, but this is not something I want to deal with so often. I already checked and updated my phone, didn’t help either. Severe Limit on Number of AI Videos You Can Generate Per MonthThis app has a policy that you can only generate 25 (FIVE SECOND LONG) videos per month with this app. And, of course, with AI you have to generate multiple times before you can get a correct render. This is an unacceptable policy when they charge extra to even try the AI service. So, I paid for the highest subscription, and can’t use the service but for one or two correctly rendered AI videos PER MONTH that are five seconds long each. That little of service is not worth the cost of the subscription, and now even if I cancel the subscription, I won’t get my money back. If they’re going to advertise the AI video service as much as they’re doing, it should clearly say you can only use it 25 times per month. Not greatToo hard to search for new templates that match what you want. Not worth the money. Only good for very specific reels and tiktoks. Can’t seem to find any templates for regular square shaped Ig posts. No ability to make fully customized posts rather than just copying the given templates. Update: added a star. I did figure out how to do make my own projects but the transition effects between clips are very limited and the app is a clunky and frustrating. There’s only 7 different transitions and you can’t even change the speed of them or modify them in anyway. I also can’t seem to find a preset to display landscape orientation photos within a reel where the picture is panned across like you see in some of the templates. Waste of effortSaw an ad on Facebook, and it looked good. Decided to give it a try. First, it uses the gimmick of “try it for 3 days, then we charge you $119”. This is red flag number one, when your business model is to make money by hoping people try the product, and accidentally pay for an entire year. But, because it was interesting, I was willing to try the 3 days. It then asks for all your info. Then it wants a payment method (see red flag #1). On this page it tells me they currently can’t take credit cards (red flag #2), but they will do PayPal, which is fine. It then wants to verify your email, which never comes. I tried a dozen times, no email. So, I have an app I can’t even try, from a company that’s trying to trick people into accidentally buying a pretty pricey program… all of which never works… after they take all your contact info. UnsatisfiedSo like everyone else I seen the advertisement of using Ai to help make videos, reels, and come up with/ ideas and concepts to enhance your social media presence. I pay for the pro so I can get full access to the account only to find out you’re limited to one Ai generated video/week with their credit system. As a new user of course you’re going to want to play around with different concepts and teach yourself how to actually maximize your content, but once you make a mistake you gotta wait a week just to try again since you won’t have anymore credits to make adjustments. Would be great if it didn’t force close!I just downloaded this app today and really like the features! Unfortunately, despite having the most recent version of the app, the most recent update, and the most recent model of iPhone...this app force closes constantly. It’s impossible to export anything. Force closed at 40%, tried again and it force closed at 60%...so on and so on. I tried at least a dozen times and then to add insult to injury it started force closing on me while I was editing in the app as well. Extremely frustrating! The edits look great and it’s easy to navigate, but unfortunately the glitches just make it a waste of time since you can’t download anything. Glitches and freezesThe app used to work seamlessly before the recent update. Decided to sign up today with a 3 day trial. But after coming across these bugs, I’m going to skip subscription for now until these issues are fixed. A note to the developer , I noticed now the app sometimes freezes when you upload a photo / video. I had to force quit the app a few times and to relaunch it to bypass the freeze. It used to work without a problem. Also, one of the stock vídeo is not playing back in the final exported video. To be specific which vídeo I’m referring to, it is the “2020” stock video of gold candles and a pink background when a hand repositions the candle. On the exported video, the stock vídeo is not moving. It shows moving in the preview, however, it doesn’t move after exporting to the camera roll. I tested it out with a different stock vídeo and it worked fine, just not with the 2020 candle video. I really like the Wishlist template with the red background and 3 circles. I like that you can move all the elements on the page, however, you can’t move the circle around the image/video. Misleading and fraudulent scammersI downloaded the app to check it out and tried to make a simple video I can free on CapCut. When I tried to make it, it asked for payment and I read that if I wanted to cancel, I could cancel within 3 days for a full refund. I tried to make the video and they wanted more money so I sent a message to a bot because these scammers don’t talk to people and I let them know I wanted to cancel. I was told I would have to do it through Apple, which I did. Great but too buggy for professionalsThere are so many bugs. For example. I’m duplicating projects and each project has text in a different language but the app mixes up all the projects text so my English version now has Spanish and Russian text.
