Still haven’t managed to sign upDespite the negative reviews, I decided to try and sign up. Has anyone supervising the app development actually tried to do this on an iPhone? It’s a clown show. Fields are improperly identified (e.g. my phone tried to enter a suggested password in an email field). You can paste into some fields, but not others. If I’m trying to use a secure password, I don’t want to have to type it out! (I use a password manager, like any intelligent person) If you don’t get to the end of the process, you can’t come back to it later, you have to start from scratch.

Je choisis de me connecter de la façon conventionnelle, avec courriel et mot de passe, alors je suis supposé recevoir un code par le courriel qui ne viendra jamais.
Ces bornes de recharge appartiennent à Volkswagen et je crois que leurs programmeurs ne sont pas très doués. Plein de problèmes comme avec leurs véhicules électriques.

L’application fonctionnait très bien depuis 2 ans. Il y a trois semaines, une mise à jour est sortie. Or, je ne peux pas y accéder parce que mon iOS -qui est à jour- est une version 16.xx et que l’application Electrify Canada requiert un iOS 17.2 ou ultérieur. Le service à la clientèle m’a conseillé de leur téléphoner quand je veux utiliser la recharge à la borne ou de forcer une version supérieure sur mon iPhone (1 heure dans un IStore ? Great app, but the service?It’s hard to separate the app from the service.
The app is great, although it’s Apple Wallet integration has never worked properly and I’m starting to think it never will. Unfortunately, even if you’re paying for a membership, the rate is the highest around. I can’t recommend it.
As a plus, the charge stations are physically better than most. But, again, incredibly expensive.
I’ve cancelled my membership, and I’ll use it as needed in emergencies only. Thankfully, there are enough DC fast stations around now that I shouldn’t have to use it again.

Frustrating and Outdated – No Real ProgressI’ve been waiting since January for Electrify Canada to fix basic issues in their app, and nothing has changed. The charging station at 4500 Rue Armand-Viau is still not operational, with no ETA, and Tesla models beyond 2020 are still missing from the vehicle list.
Support is responsive but ultimately unhelpful, with vague promises and no real solutions. How can an EV charging network be so slow at updating its own infrastructure and app? If you’re relying on this for charging, be prepared for frustration.
