Stable and easy to use across multiple devicesI have a lot of gadgets and a lot of accounts and a lot of passwords for those accounts. I am also completely incapable of remembering any of those passwords. I originally got NordPass in 2020, and I've never encountered any issues that couldn't be fixed with a quick search online. It works on my Apple/iOS devices and Windows computers seamlessly, so it's easy to save info in one location and access it everywhere. I imported my saved passwords from a few different locations, and I've been able to be more careful and organized than I was before. I like the Password Generator. There's settings to make passwords with random characters and punctuation, but I prefer the one that provides random words separated by punctuation. It's easier to read and type them when I'm in a situation where copy-paste isn't possible (like logging in on a TV or on websites that don't allow it.) There's also a Password Health feature that I need to actually use one of these days. I have old duplicate passwords from when I was younger and lazier. I'm definitely regretting it now, but I know I have a tool that will help me find those accounts and fix them once I have time to sit down and do it..RowanrooksVersion: 3.29.2

Replaced every PW appI recently switched to NordPass to manage all of my passwords, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer. It's replaced all of my other password vaults. The interface is easy to use and intuitive, and the browser extension makes logging in to my accounts a breeze. The only downside is that NordPass logs you out quite frequently, which can be a little annoying when you're in the middle of something important. However, I understand this is a security measure, so it's a small price to pay for the added protection. Overall, I highly recommend NordPass to anyone looking for a trustworthy password manager. Ok but not greatI recently switched from LastPass (an issue in itself with their lack of internal policies and multiple breaches). While NordPass seems equivalent in interface, the App really is behind the times. The app does not save passwords to new sites from within safari. You can use safari to pull your current passwords, but it doesn’t help pull them into your database when created. Also, some features such as data breach scanner are not completely functioning within the App. One other key feature that LastPass did have was better integration of folder use and favorites. While folders are in NordPass, you can’t really sort your view by favorites or folders. Folders are more utilized for searching. NordPass seems to be a solid app to use, and possibly more policy structured company (as they have independent audits of their policies, which their competitor did not allow)..Mark93403145Version: 3.23

What a GREAT solution!My wife and I pretty much use iPhones & iPads for everything, and our passwords were out of control! After some web investigation and speaking with some I.T. friends, I decided to go w/ NordPass. It understandably requires a careful setup and is quite a bit to wrap your mind around, but then it all comes together and the light bulb turns on! Useful, but has issuesI’ve been slowly migrating my passwords to this application. It’s very useful on the phone for certain features, like autofill, and it usually figures out when I need to create a new password. On my desktop it is significantly clunkier and was unable to connect to my webcam for facial recognition, so it’s a bit less useful since you have to input your master password in manually, which typically dissuades me from actually using the web browser features. I also can’t share my accounts and passwords because it tells me I have a network error. The help features on the app, like chat, seem to probably work better on web than on the phone. Can’t Live WithoutI used to use last pass. The frustration was never ending. After finding NordPass, it was everything I’d always wondered why a password app couldn’t have. I not only use it for passwords but for every single key piece of my life: finances, passwords, notes, and any important information or document I will need my family to have some day after I pass. Prevent you from accessing your passwords far too oftenMy wife and I use this account however, when I try to login every once in a while, it asks for verification, which requires 2 step verification, however, this can only be done from one authenticator app, which is only on my wife’s phone. This renders this app basically useless because I do not always have access to it unless I have her phone. Not being able to add the authenticated app to more than one device is ridiculous. A Marketing NightmareNord apps are loaded with Nord marketing. Nord goes on and on about privacy and streamlining one’s life, yet their apps constantly nag you to either buy their products, configure things that are already configured, or use their other apps even if you already are using them. It’s just a constant barrage of interruptions. No checking against your account to see what’s already deployed. If you turn off notifications to stop the marketing you turn off other legitimate notifications. Nord Support takes days to respond and it’s usually canned responses and issues are seldom looked at carefully. I’m sore displeased with the overall Nord experience..Not4u2doVersion: 3.30.1

Look No FurtherMy wife and I looked for a passport bank for a long time that could replace our shared Apple Note with all our logins. While Apple is undoubtedly secure and the shared note worked okay, we needed a true app that was meant for logins. Free over premiumI got the premium version so I could add documents or pictures to my entries, but every time I try to add a photo or file, it pulls up the encrypting progress bar, then immediately stops and says “something went wrong.” I’ve tried taking a picture, choosing a picture, and uploading from files. So I cancelled my subscription and after the free trial, I’ll stick with the free version. Stupid authenticationIn order to log into the nordpass you need log into the nord account then log in AGAIN to the nordpass. Problem is the password for the nord account is in the nordpass. If you dont know the nord account password then your locked out. The whole point of a password manager is to only know one password. Friendly easyI was looking for a free place to keep my passwords. Previously I was using apple notes with lock but it was awkward to find an specific password. The my son gave me NordPass site and it is friendly and easy to use also safe since it uses you biometrics to get in. I do recommend it. Still no offline use; very slow responsivenessThe delay for the app to respond when autofilling passwords in a browser or app can be up to 10 seconds. When the delay goes for longer than that, the issue commonly is that the app has logged out of the account with no warning. Works well on mobileSo I was an avid user of LastPass and switched to NordPass. Gotta say I like the mobile experience on iPhone much better than LastPass. However, I seem to ALWAYS have issues of NordPass not autofilling or recognizing passwords on my M1 Mac Mini using safari. Black screen of deathI like this app, I use it on my iPad pro and 2 PC's, and it works great. I even recommended it to my mum. But since a few updates ago, it no longer opens on my iPhone X. Works but interface and settings need workBasic password vault works fine. Unlike other password managers, this requires one to maintain an active login on a separate Nord Account (with its own password) to have access to the Nordpass App (password vault) which is protected with a second password (the Master Password). So two login procedures using two passwords are required to open the password vault. Granted, the Nord Account login is kept active then one doesn’t need to re-login to it every time. Of course, there is no easy to detect this and if you accidentally close your browser you’re back to square one. Overall, a pretty clumsy setup that offers dubious added security. Indeed, the whole process likely confuses users which is seldom good for security. Other password managers (there are several good ones to choose from) likely offer equivalent encryption protection without this interface overhead (complexity) and probably make a better choice..Pap_48Version: 3.43

Terrible subscription model.The only reason I even used NordPass was because I have a NordVPN subscription and needed a password manager, and NordPass was free, so I chose NordPass. However, now as of this most recent update, they added some features nobody asked for to NordPass to justify forcing people to have to buy a subscription for NordPass to use it on multiple devices. It’s very frustrating when I used to be logged in on my phone AND my pc, but now it logs you out of all other devices and tells you that you have to pay monthly to use it on more than one device at a time. There is actually no reason for this other than greed. They removed a feature and added it back but this time behind a monthly paywall. At the very least, since NordVPN is the main product and NordPass is just an addon, they should include NordPass in the NordVPN subscription. Makes me crazyI got this as an alternative to the equally annoying RoboForm. I got so annoyed trying to set Nordpass up, I deleted it. Then I got an email telling me how easy it is to set up. Okay. Extremely Frustrating Experience for Multi-Device UsersI switched to NordPass about two years ago, hoping for a smoother and more secure password management experience. Unfortunately, it has been nothing short of a headache. I initially had hundreds of passwords stored in Chrome, but NordPass never fully figured them out. When I visit a site, it offers to log me in with one of my five email addresses, but it doesn’t identify which one I actually used—leaving me to guess. It also presents me with a confusing list of old passwords, and I often have no idea which one is correct. The app is painfully slow to update, especially across different Chrome profiles (like personal and work). Switching between profiles doesn’t reliably sync passwords, so I often end up resetting passwords over and over again. The same syncing issue occurs between devices—my computer and phone don’t talk to each other properly. On top of that, NordPass repeatedly locks me out of my account, despite my settings to prevent that. I’m constantly entering my master password, and biometric login only works on my iPhone—not on my computer. In short, if you use multiple devices or Chrome profiles and have a long history of saved credentials, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. Promotional subscriptionSuch a scam. First I was offered a great deal if I chose to get a yearly description with a choice of 1st being a trial with a chance I didn’t like it as long as I opt out before the end of trial. We went ahead and got the subscription, but then suddenly I get a notification. I already got charged for the whole year but two years. I was beyond livid. I contacted customer service and they assured me that they only allow you to pay for the whole subscription before getting the month trial. Which doesn’t make sense because that’s why you give a person trial to ensure that they want the product before finalizing on the payment. And is obviously a false advertisement on their part. Biometric lockout and customer service runaroundI loved this app when it worked for me. I paid for a year, but couldn’t use it for a large portion of the subscription. These were my problems with the app: Issue 1 - The option to unlock the app with biometric (Face ID/fingerprint) stopped appearing one day and nothing brought it back. Biometrics had worked so seamlessly so so long, that I began to rely on it. I got totally locked out of the app and was unable to bring up biometrics to unlock it. Customer support couldn’t figure it out. Uninstall/reinstall, resetting, and other attempts got nowhere. I gave up on every getting back in. 2. After giving up on ever getting back in, I contacted customer support several times asking them to reset my account, I provided them the necessary information, I told them I understood that I would lose my current saved passwords if I did this, etc. and never got my reset. 3. I was stuck with an app I paid money for, but couldn’t use. I’ve subscribed to NordVPN for nearly a decade now, so I tried this app at launch, and what a disappointment. Refuses to open on my deviceI personally use the subscription service on my personal computer and it works fantastically. So, I thought to download the app for my phone. After downloading it I attempted to open the app and the black screen with “NordPass” opened before the screen simply went black (the rest of my device was still working fine but the application simply remained as a black screen and the device was still working and on). Paid For Premium Plan & Stuck On FreeI paid for the premium plan and my mobile device is still stuck on the free plan. I knew that I had ordered the paid plan a month ago however today I tried to subscribe again and Apple refused saying that I’m already subscribed as of September 5, 2024 and that I will not renew again until September 2025 so this company charged me over a month ago for $35 to upgrade and still has me stuck on a free plan with limitations. I checked the app to try to get support to help with this issue however, there is no support button that I can contact someone so that they can and compensate me for this past whole month that I paid for being stuck on the free plan. Not good with phones or iPadsAlthough it says it will work on all devices, it does not work well on my iPhone or iPad. It does not fill out forms and most of the times, it won’t fill in passwords. When I open a new app. NordPass is not there to assist with the password. And then when I need to reopen that app, it is also not there. I’m trying to set up apps on my new iPhone and NordPass is of no help whatsoever with the passwords for apps, mail, and other passwords on my new phone. Close to great but major security holes if you use Face IDI just evacuated NordPass for our company considering switching from 1password given the problems with 1pass v8. NordPass has a sleek user interface and seems easy to use but unfortunately it has some gaping security flaws which disqualify it. They are as follows: 1. The recovery key, which can be used to reset the master password, can be changed by just a faceID or iPhone passcode entry if you have faceID enabled. This means if your phone is stolen and the thief is able to add their face to faceID, or sees you entering your passcode before they snatch it, you’ll end up locked out of your own NordPass vault and the thief will have full access. NordPass needs to require manual entry of the master password to change it or to regenerate the recovery key. 2. If you enable Face ID, NordPass doesn’t prompt for the master password even after your iPhone or computer are restarted. This means the master password is being stored somewhere in memory on the device. Again, they should learn from 1password and others who require re-entry storing it only temporarily until the next restart. This also would help reduce some of the faceID risk mentioned in #1 above. 3. There is no “active logins” or “active sessions” screen in end users accounts to see all the places they’re currently logged on and remotely log out or wipe NordPass data from a lost device. Instead, you’d have to rely on wiping the entire device remotely to be absolutely certain NordPass wasn’t accessed on a device after a theft. I sent these concerns to NordPass but got a canned response from a member on their team touting their encryption strength. Sadly their thoughtless insecure implantation of Face ID without smart safeguards negates the value of any such encryption. I hope they consider making changes to make the product more secure so we can switch in the future..Bythebay10Version: 3.24

Additionally, the integration with the Authenticator feature created issues on my iPhone, complicating the process of retrieving codes when I was using my iPhone and PC. After about a month, I decided to use a different Authenticator app that worked much more smoothly for me. After struggling with these issues for roughly three to four months, I had reached out to customer service for assistance. Unfortunately, I didn't find the help I was looking for. At that point, I was done fighting and I wanted to request a refund since the product wasn't functioning as I had hoped. I learned that the refund policy only applies within the first 30 days, which was a bit disappointing. In retrospect, I realize I should have evaluated the service and made a decision within that initial period. Currently, I'm attempting to export my information from NordPass, but I'm having difficulty despite following the instructions in their help section. This has led to the tedious task of copying passwords individually, which is particularly cumbersome with over 300 entries. In summary, if you decide to give NordPass a try, I genuinely hope it works well for you. So secure even you can’t access!It works great as long as you’re able to access your own information. Suddenly the master password I’ve been using to log-in for months stopped working (I know it’s correct, I wrote it down in a secure location). Of course, even though I’m logged in, the only way to reset the password is to enter the old one, which NordPass now claims is incorrect. Thus I can’t set up a new phone, and it appears my only option is a complete account wipe and many days/weeks of tedious password resets. Can’t log in for weeks due to their errorThey sent me the wrong Recovery Password to some random email and I can’t access any of my passwords. Service has been incredibly slow when they just need to give me the correct account. Additionally there’s non stop glitches in the app. Every time I update it, it’s a miracle if biometrics is still turned on. The times I’ve been able get to the Master Password to reset it, that’s too easy. Somehow they screwed that up too and all it does is say wrong password, errors out, and quits the application for me. Service for Nord problemsShould you have the smallest issue with using this, do not expect NordPass team to be able to help. They lean heavily on automated scripts and copy and paste answers. Eventually, as time ticks on, you will find you get stuck as using NP becomes a useless exercise. Sign-in IssuesWe have both Nord Pass and NordVPN. I thought I had remained logged in to both and appear to be for NordVPN because it opens and asks me to select a city so that seems to be working fine but I needed the password to login to another app so I opened Nord Pass to look it up and it asks for our credentials (email and password). We use different passwords for Nord Pass and NordVPN. I tried numerous times to login and Nord Pass keeps telling me the login and/or password is incorrect. Computer use is super buggyFunny thing is the software of pretty much seamless on the iPhone. However, using the computer is a major PITA. Gets logged out and you have to get in through the Nord Account before you can log into NordPass. After you log in NordPass won’t let you edit passwords or make changes. Be ForewarnedYou may think this is a good service. It’s not. It didn’t work and actually caused a number of security issues with my other apps and multi factor authentication. They also refused to remove my credit card information. They said because they are an American based company, they do not need to adhere to their terms of service.
