All of the apps I mentioned do most all or some of the things this app does, but sometimes you don't need all the extra stuff, but those apps do, sometimes you do. For those times when you need to be able to remove, the background, it's as near perfect as any I've seen or used. Need to make adjustments to faces, hair and aesthetics, or resize and make other major/minor photographic edits, this is your app. If you use CapCut, you probably already know. But in the context of this review, they're really unrelated. Oh and you can add text too in many fonts and styles. Hypic is good for everything besides one thingHectic is an awesome trust worthy editing app, but there is one downfall to this hectic is a good app for editing photos but my only downfall is you can’t edit videos so the person who made this app please consider my idea please make it so we can edit videos to but otherwise the app is great. Love it !I use it for allll my pictures I post ! I absolutely love it . Only suggestion I have is I wish it had a touch up feature so I don’t have to do my edits on here , save it to my phone then go to CapCut , upload the picture on there , do touch ups & then save it to my phone & then delete the other one from my phone & that there was a background blur that doesn’t blur the actual object at all . I make the background blur that’s provided on the app work , by tweaking the controls on the filter but it still kind of blurs me as well & the background blur isn’t what I’d find on other apps ( the type of blur that I prefer ) but other than those two suggestions & opinions. I Definitely Recommend!!Hypic is a really good photo editor! I use it all the time, whether it’s for making memes, playing around with goofy images, editing yourself, ect! My personal favorite filter is Berlin, it’s so pretty! There’s even a filter to make yourself look Tim Burton (I love Tim Burton movies they are my fav!)! You can upload images and they turn into stickers you can use whenever, there’s even a Ai cutout when you make stickers, so you can create PNGs! I love Hypic and it’s very underrated. Easy to Use but Obnoxious Watermark FeatureI really like this app for editing any type of photo; it’s easy to navigate and not confusing at all and offers many different tools. I use it all the time. But they just added a watermark feature that is pretty obnoxious on your edited photos/editing screen. You can only get rid of it 30 times (I assume it’ll be a vip/premium option after) and can change the position of it as well. This is a huge problem for me because it is not small and not very cute either. Mind you, I got the free trial. I did request notification for the trial before it ended. Membership not workingI paid for the annual subscription. It has been over a week and the features are not working. When I edit a picture it takes me to the pay wall before I download the photo. Great photo editorIt's very simple to use it looks pretty basic but there's all kinds of hidden gyms and a lot of different variations to use those tools. I've tested the theory on one particular photo and made probably 12 variations of the same thing that visually stand out as different without putting too much thought into it and I'm sure I could double it if I really got creative. Love the Free VersionI love the free version alone! It offers already a lot of options without having a charge, although paying for the more is tempting! Super convenient being able to do a batch edit and copy and paste the edits onto all the pictures and adjust individual ones from the set. I do wish I could add more photos in the batch edits because I can never remember all the tiny touches I do per set to redo them on another set of 9 pictures. Great jobDefinitely hands-down one of the best all-around photo editors out there. Still have to go to a few other free ones for some edits, wish you would bring them in. But. Hypic is Awesome!I like Hypic because it’s really easy to edit photos and it’s not complicated to edit. You just click import, access all photos, pick the photo you want to edit, then you can do whatever you want! It’s really easy! Great app when it *WORKS PROPERLY*Great app and it does pair really well with CapCut when needing to edit a photo. However, the additional features show up randomly when accessing the app in my experience. The majority of time using the app, most of the features are missing. Needs More Customization/control & a “favorites” feature for Filters.I love this app, but some things don’t make sense for a paid version. Templates aren’t fully editable, if I like one part, I can’t keep it and remove the rest. VIP users should have full control over layers. Also, with so many filters, it’s tedious to scroll; being able to favorite them would be a huge help. And we should be able to make/save presets. Where did the VIP features go?Love the app, that’s why i decided to go with the VIP feature. The main 3 options i used from Adjust section was: AI Enhance Face, Enhance Quality i think it was, and Enhance Brightness. Now all those 3 options have just been replaced with one, AI Enhance, which doesn’t give the same results as those 3 did. Where did they go, and why? Good needs importantLook the app is great, I use this all the time for my media and just for fun my only complaint is when you want to use templates, it doesn’t always appear when you open the app, the template option will just disappear. Very irritatingI been paying for this app and it won’t let me use the ai features I been paying for. The features would appear on the app once a week or two then disappear and it keep saying it can’t generate the image with the ai features. I have reported these issues multiple times and still got no answer or a solution. I even google for suggestions of what I can do to make it work properly which didn’t work still. I love the app when it’s working the way it suppose to but it’s very nerve racking to be paying for the use of everything in the app and what I’m paying for don’t work. Added this part (A few days later) Now I can’t even use the filters. All but one filter is showing. WTH is wrong with y’all app and why nothing is being done about it? App charges for things that used to be free.I’ve been using this app going on 6-7 months. Plenty of good things about the app. But sadly the bad are starting to outweigh the good. They have an option to select the area that you’d like to edit, to do that the whole picture isn’t being edited at once. Love Hypic when **when it works** & I’ve never received a response to fix.Every month, for most of the month my VIP features (retouch, templates, effects, etc.) are no where to be found even after signing out and back in, removing the app & redownloading, signing in, checking that version is up to date, hundreds of pictures erased for storage purposes, cache cleared, shutting off and turning on phone, closing it and opening it. I’ve reached out at least once a month to resolve and most of the time my features are available shortly after but I never received a response. In July, alone, I have reached out 4 times with not even a single response and no compensation for my troubles. Lags and bugsI have the paid version. Be prepared for the fact that not all features are available unless you purchase an annual subscription right away. The app's functionality changes from time to time, even though I have auto-updates disabled in the App Store. All the buttons swap places, and the effects I need disappear entirely. The "freeze" background button also disappeared, and this is probably the worst thing that has ever happened to me in this app. It appears when I log in to my account, but the information about my existing subscription isn't reflected in my account. The update ruined everythingThis used to be my favorite app, but ever since the update it’s become the worst photo‑editing app I’ve ever used. They removed some of the best buttons and features just to force everything through AI—yet the AI constantly throws warnings and errors. Nothing works the way it should, and it was so much easier when you could simply edit things yourself. It makes no sense to remove core features and replace them with something that barely functions. They could’ve kept the original tools and added new ones instead of breaking what already worked. They even claimed the app would revert when I canceled my subscription, but it didn’t. Amazing app but has MAJOR issues the devs ignore.This app has some amazing features you can only find in multiple different apps, but Hypic has it all in one along with some great AI. But unfortunately this app has some serious bugs especially it’s most popular features disappearing depending on your luck opening the app. Which is very frustrating for users. Terribly unstable!!This app has such great potential to be amazing, if the developers can just quit adding unnecessary features (Faded Film?). MembershipI bought the membership for a month used it and I really liked it however 4 days in I try to use something that members can use, later try to download the picture it sends me to buy a membership, when it does I try to ‘purchase’ to see what happens but later says I already have a membership and the picture never downloads. I keep trying and trying and keeps doing the same thing. Felt that I just payed a month for nothing. I also tried uninstalling the app and trying it again, but keeps doing the same thing. PROBLEM WITH SUBSCRIPTIONS FEATURESI’ve been using this app for quite awhile and to me it has been extremely perfect, However up until it’s time to use the “magic erase” feature. Retouch gone???I’ve been using this app for so long and my favorite features were the detailed retouch options with face and body editing. There were so many options to manually edit any part of your face or body. They updated the app a week or so ago and now the retouch tab is completely gone. I really hope this is just a bug or a glitch but if it’s not this app is completely useless. They changed the features so that even with a VIP subscription editing options are limmited to the point it’s no better than editing your photos in the apple library. FIX THE AI EDITOR PART!!!!I pay $10 just to get the VIP experience of Hypic, but every time I use the AI editor part it would say “ couldn’t generate image” “ something went wrong. try again” then it has an option to click “retry” or “cancel”. When I try to click one of those options, it won’t let me so I have to close out the whole app then reload my picture and try to describe what I want again and it’s exhausting because I should not have any types of problems to be paying $10 a month so somebody needs to fix that and I will change my review. Great Potential, Poor Export QualityThis app would be so much better if it actually exported in its highest quality. When I zoom in on text or move the font around, it looks perfectly sharp, but the moment I let go, the quality drops badly. There’s no option to export in high quality either. I want 9 MP, but it only exports in 4 MP, which is unacceptable. Fix your app. On top of that, I recently updated CapCut and everything got worse, the UI is worse, and the font I used all the time is now locked behind a paywall. Stop removing features!!!When I first got this app over a year or two ago it was amazing; there were plenty of accessible features and little to no bugs. Now, however, it is completely unusable!!
