“Proton has now made it stupid-easy to encrypt your schedule. Information about what you plan to do, where, and with whom, can be just as sensitive as the messages you send and receive.” Gizmodo

Proton Calendar: Secure Events App Comments & Reviews
Proton Calendar: Secure Events Positive Reviews
Great, Secure Calendar!Really enjoy this calendar and its security 👍 There are a few features that I wish would exist though. I’d appreciate a search option to be able to search for an event, instead of having to go through each Day until I find it. I’d also love it if it would remember events I’ve created in the past, so that it could auto-fill in some of the specifics for frequently added events (ie. the event location, notifications, which specific calendar). Lastly (and I think this might be a bug), I’d like it to remember how long I’ve set the duration for specific calendar events to be. For example, in settings, I’ve set my “work” calendar’s duration for events to be 120 minutes, but, no matter which calendar I select, it defaults to 30 minutes so I have to change it manually. *I generally use the app, so some of these may be available on a desktop browser, and if so, please let me know!* Overall, I like this calendar a lot, and offer these desires as I’d love to see them come into fruition to make my Experience more easeful. These are really just conveniences, but ones that I became used to when I used the apple calendar before. This is now my sole calendar and I’m very grateful for it! Appreciate all the effort that has gone into creating it and the security it offers ♥️.Version: 2.15.0
PromisingPerforms the basics with reminders, good visualization, location, and making it recurring. Missing the ability to share a calendar currently, which is currently being worked on. This is a core function of a calendar though, and should integrate better with their email services, even if these functions are restricted to other working Proton users. I hate to rate something down for a service it openly declares is not currently implemented, this is pretty central to a calendar app and is currently keeping me from fully migrating to Proton Calendar. The app also needs additional security found on Proton Mail and Proton Drive where it allows for the use of a password/pin and/or biometric on startup. Looking forward to the updates, and of course I will update my review when things change. edit: Thank you for the reply! I did not see sharing was an option since I primarily use the app on iOS. I will try it out from the PC see if I can share and then still update and use it from iOS. Not ideal, but at least a work around..Version: 2.3.0
ImprovingI am a Proton Unlimited subscriber because I love the platform and their commitment to privacy. Pros: -Simple/attractive UI -Solid basic calendar features Cons: Requires a little extra effort and a few workarounds to tailor this calendar to your personal needs. Birthdays: -automatic Integration of birthdays from our contact lists is preferable here but still notably not an option. Workaround: -In the meantime, I just created a ‘Birthdays’ calendar and manually added each one myself. US Holidays: -Currently, there are a lot of holidays( of which I’m used to being alerted to via iCloud calendar) that are not included in this feature. Workaround: -I disabled Proton’s built in ‘Holidays’ calendar and created my own, manually inputting each one. Thankfully, you can add calendars from other platforms via URL (note that these cannot be altered in the Proton app and this feature has its limitations as it is not updated or synced in real time). Overall, Proton’s commitment to privacy and putting their users first as well as their continuous improvement to the platform, for the most part, alleviates any reservations I might have otherwise had. I didn’t mind putting in a little extra effort to tailor the app to my needs. That being said, I hope they continue to listen to user feedback and implement new features sooner rather than later..Version: 2.9.0
One major problemI’m new to proton. I just signed up and am starting to migrate my email to proton. I am trying to use the calendar but I’ve run into an issue. If I receive calendar invites in my email that are an attachment (such as an ICS file), there doesn’t seem to be any way to add them to my calendar. From the proton mail app there is no “add to calendar “ button. From the calendar app there is no import that I can find which allows you to import a downloaded file, and in iOS when you try to use the “share” button the calendar is not an option. This means the only way I can find to add some invites to my calendar is to manually enter the information. Ideally an “add to calendar” button should be available from the mail app, and a share extension should be available so you can receive a file/invite into your calendar. On the plus side: My wife and I are both migrating to proton, so it’s nice to be able to share the calendar with her and both of us to see the same events. I’m still new so as I use this more I can get a better opinion..Version: 2.6.0
Usable, but everything is just a little bit worseDesktop Proton Calendar allows you to click to create an event and drag events around. It’s buggy, but functional. For some reason, this is impossible to do in the iOS version. The process of creating and managing events in iOS Proton Calendar is cumbersome, slow and frustrating. I have to click an event, click edit, click time, then click the time dial to type in a new time. To rearrange events, you have to do this every single time. It’s agonizing if you need to fluidly rearrange a schedule, because dragging events with your finger does absolutely nothing. Editing the time of an event is buggy. Occasionally, if I edit the time an event ends, it moves the time the event starts as well. If I’m accessing my calendar on my phone, it’s because I am needing to accomplish something quickly. I don’t have time to fight against my calendar interface. It’s impossible, currently, to browse years ahead or behind. You cannot schedule an event a year in advance unless you scroll endlessly in the event configuration windows on the date dial. This is all easier to do in the desktop version. However, I do not want to pull up my laptop to schedule a distant wedding invite or annual doctor’s checkup. I am a subscribed proton customer. I pay for 500gb of cloud storage. I use it religiously on windows, macOS, Linux and iOS. However, this makes me all the more frustrated that a paid service falls short of the freemium offerings from Google..Version: 2.20.0
Functional, Does what it needs toRecently got a membership and switched off of using Google suite because I enjoy Proton’s dedication to security and privacy with minimal (ideally zero) AI/LLM integration. The proton calendar app is functional, with no bugs or glaring design issues that I’ve noticed so far. Set up does need to start mainly on a browser if you’re transferring calendars, which is a bit less convenient but doable. It will eventually (within a day or two) sync subscribed calendars. Features that I would really appreciate, and optimize convenience: - The ability to subscribe to a calendar from the app. Currently must be done from a browser - Ability to search up past/upcoming events in the calendar. I sometimes need to check when I had an appointment, and at the moment the only solution is to scroll through every month and scan each week for what I’m looking for. This is particularly challenging when looking for things that are over 3 months back. - Customizable notification sounds/haptics for calendar events. Grateful to the developers for continuing to build solid, functional alternatives to these tech companies that seem to only add slop to their services..Version: 2.24.0
Multi-date Invite dates are one day off! Finally deleted Google Calendar and made the permanent switch to Proton Calendar and it is frustrating as heck. The worst is that when I get a calendar invite for, say, March 15-18, the subject will say March 15-18, but the body invite will say 14-17. It has done this through updates, so I’m not sure why they can’t just fix it! Does it think I’m in a different time one from the person sending the invite? Also, it’s clunky, where Google is so easy when entering events. Proton displays overnight events that have start/end times like a note— at the top of the calendar display like an “all day” event, rather than displaying it over the actual times like other time events. So if you glance at the day view, for example, you don’t see the time blocked out where you’re busy. It looks like you’re free. Another problem is if you enter an event on the wrong calendar, if you try to edit it to another calendar you get a “ coming soon” popup and are unable to complete it, so have to delete event and create a new event in the correct calendar. Google lets you do it the other way with ease. The “look” of this calendar is visually boring and my different events don’t stand out as much as with Google. The time “spinner” won’t let you roll to a time, then change it to am or pm. It just keeps resetting if the time you are entering for an event in the future is at a time of day that has passed TODAY, even though future date is selected. That’s all I had time to write, even though I could probably say more.. It works. It just takes longer and isn’t as smooth..Version: 2.16.0
Been using a few monthsI’ve been using proton for about a month and weaning myself off Google. So for the time being I’m trying hard to overlook many of the lack of convenience items that come with going with a non big dawg in the calendar space. In general the app does what I need it to do and it’s encrypted so that’s why I’m continuing to use it. Here are the three big features that are missing: 1) I cannot add events from proton mail into proton calendar. This is super annoying and sometimes I go to my laptop just so do this in bulk before I delete emails, or I manually add it on my phone. 2) I cannot add participants in the app. Similarly now I often have to go sit down at my computer to add participants to an event. 3) this is more nitpicky but I find it cumbersome to have to scroll through 60min when setting a time for an event. Almost all of my events are at x:00 or x:30, occasionally at x:15 or x:45. It is actually too much to have to swipe multiple time to change a start time from x:00 to x:30. If a user needs to set it to something weird like x:37 they can type it and the scroll wheel should just have round numbers in it. Otherwise the value prop of encryption, in addition to knowing this is a growing and developing product is keeping me here and I assume some of these will be resolved over time. Small thing - I like the logo-ing and the purple:)..Version: 2.7.0
Good but not greatI use the entire proton suite of Proton products from email, vpn, drive, pass and calendar. They all work really well except for calendar. It’s missing basic features that make it hard to choose over other calendar options. The two biggest are no address auto complete and the inability to edit or delete events that you are not the host of. Without address auto complete you don’t know if your map application will recognize the address. It also won’t always create a clickable link when you need to navigate so you have to copy and paste the address into your map. I had to delete an entire calendar to get rid of repeat events that I accepted an invitation to but no longer attend. There was no option for me to delete the event I’m guessing because I was not the host. Regardless, I should be able to modify/delete these events. A small problem is when choosing a time for your events the minutes are in increments of 1 instead of 5 like most calendar apps. So you have to scroll through all numbers, 1-60 and be more precise to make sure you choose 6:30 instead of 6:31. I’m sure some people would utilize this resolution but an option to choose 1 or 5 minute increments would be nice. As much as I would love to make this app my default app I can’t yet..Version: 2.17.0
Love Proton but Some Improvements HereI love the ecosystem of Proton and all their apps. I think their calendar can be optimized for IOS in a few ways. Firstly, I have the calendar app on my home screen and sometimes like to reference the app logo to see what the date is. The Apple calendar app is dynamic and shows the day of the month as the logo depending on the day, which would be a big but simple improvement for this app. Secondly, I think the UI can be improved, specifically switching to a view that allows you to scroll vertically through months instead of swiping left to right. And the current view defaults to showing most of the screen as the day schedule while a small portion is left for the monthly grid up top. Again I think the Apple calendar excels in this regard, although, of course, I prefer to use Proton’s apps in general..Version: 2.24.0
Love proton! but it’s a bit too basicI want to switch fully to this calendar, but it made my phone super hot while adding my scheduled items; I only have about 7 right now. My phone is not plugged in for charging, it’s the newest iPhone and running up to date software yet this app just heated up my phone like I’m FaceTiming inside a sauna. There is no reason a calendar app should be using enough power to cause that. Otherwise it’s a great app, 2 suggestions to make it more user friendly: - add national/international holidays - add color options for the little dot on the calendar indicating a scheduled item. Right now it’s just a green dot, but if I have multiple things scheduled I’d like to make more important items a different color; for example I’d make doctor appointments pink dots, school reminders blue, errands green… this way looking at my schedule I’d know immediately by the color dot if I could easily change plans for something that comes up or if I should see what other options are available because I see I have something less flexible that day. Not having to click on each day to see what I’m doing and have a general idea just looking at the month view would be much more convenient. Thanks Proton team! We need more functional apps with proper privacy!.Version: 2.0.2
Needs speed and tap featureI was excited when proton finally released this iOS app for the Calendar product. Overall, Proton Calendar is a good calendar application. I love using it on my laptop browser, but the iOS app still needs work. It is very very slow in creating events. Whenever I am finished putting in all the info, I have to wait there for another 20 seconds for it save and close the page. Waiting to do that is a big hindrance. It is not yet seamless in allowing me move onto the next thing. Also, a really handy feature would be tapping on the block of time in the day to create an event. Right now you have to click the plus sign, and then enter in all of the info. This makes using the app on the phone for my calendaring undesirable. I am considering switching back to google or Apple’s iCloud calendar..Version: 2.2.0
Crashing on iOSUpdate: No more crashing - it seems to have resolved itself and has not happened again. Upgrading to 4 stars! Would love to see the daily agenda/day view expanded to be able to see a week or month agenda/view. I downloaded this calendar to use together with Proton Mail and ProtonDrive, and it was working pretty well for the last week or so. I also downloaded Proton VPN and started using it today. I don’t know if the VPN is impacting ProtonCalendar or not, but the calendar only stays open now for a couple seconds and then it abruptly closes. I rebooted my phone, but it did not help. This seems to be occurring whether the VPN is connected or disconnected. I don’t want to go back to Google, but I need a calendar on my phone. Hope you can get it fixed ASAP!.Version: 2.4.0
Love the App - Needs Widget SupportAs other reviewers have expressed, this app is very barebones. I’m okay with that. I don’t need all the frills of a normal calendar app. I just need to be able to keep up with appointments, birthdays, etc. A scrollable agenda view where you can see multiple days at a time would be great (a similar feature is available in mainstream calendar apps). My main gripe would be the lack of widget support. I really like being able to see my calendar at a glance without opening an app. My current workaround is to use Apple Calendar to view my Proton Calendar events, which sorta defeats the purpose of using a privacy focused calendar. Hoping widget support is coming soon so I can delete all other calendar apps..Version: 2.6.0
FairThe calendar does offer basic functions comparable to Google calendar. However, when attempting to delete a recurring event, there are only two choices: delete all events, or delete one specific occurrence. There is no option to “delete this event and all future events.” That’s a major drawback. if my work schedule changes, I would have to delete all events for all of time and re-enter them, which is not realistic. Additionally, when viewing the agenda, the user must select each date individually. It would be helpful if the agenda or if an additional “schedule“ view could be added to simply allow a scrollable view of events, skipping days when no events are scheduled. Finally, some type of (even primitive) task list would be helpful. Thank you!.Version: 2.20.0
Good calendar, but difficult to edit eventsThis calendar seems to work so far, and I appreciate the clean, simple interface. However, this app does lack a single searchable view of all events scheduled, in case the user is looking for information (or desires to edit) a certain scheduled event. The only way to edit events seems to be through calendar view, which assumes the user has the dates of scheduled events memorized— to find an event, one must know the date. If this were the case, there would be no point in saving an event to a calendar at all. I’m sure this functionality has not been overlooked and will be implemented in the future. I’m grateful for all the effort the developers have invested in this app..Version: 2.0.3
I love the new widget!!!THANK YOU GUYS for adding widgets!!!! i moved my google calendar widget to the last slide of my home screen and put the proton widget where gcal used to be. i’m very excited to be one step closer to abandoning google products. i have a suggestion that would make the transition more seamless. google calendar’s widget shows me tomorrow’s events when all of my events for the day have passed, and i found that pretty handy. it just would remove the speedbump of having to actually navigate into the app to see tomorrow’s events instead of seeing the big “add new event” button when there’s already a second, smaller button to add a new event that lives in the corner of the widget. to me it makes more sense to have a little preview of the next day instead of having a large redundant button on the widget. id also love for this app to have reminders like google calendar!! i do have a separate reminders app, but its run by microsoft 🤮 migrating to privacy-focused apps is such an ordeal. but having little tasks/reminders in proton calendar would kill two birds with one stone! thank you guys for all you do :).Version: 2.16.0
Time zone issueI changed the default time zone in a calendar appointment to be my time zone, updated the other appointment details and saved the appointment. The agenda view still shows the default time zone time, but my time zone time is shown correctly when I reopen the appointment. The reminder does go off during my time zone (which is good). I use Proton VPN & Proton Mail, and I was super excited when I saw you have a calendar app! I would love to start using Proton Calendar, but it is too confusing with this time zone issue - could you please fix it? Also - is there a way to change the default time zone so the I don’t need to reset it for every new appointment? Thank you so much - Proton is the best!.Version: 2.0.2
Thank you Proton AG for reaching out.One example of problems with events is that of recurring events. I have a recurring event every Saturday, but on some weekends I need to modify the time. I cannot do that from my phone or tablet; instead, I have to always do it from my desktop. The modification could be the time or maybe it's an invitation for a recurring event from another family member that I need to associate with a particular calendar not the default "My Calendar". Again, I have to go to my desktop because the change is not possible via my phone or my tablet. I hope this helps give you a better idea. Thank you for your time..Version:
Calendar Works WellThis app works well. However, it is missing a few MAJOR things that I hope to see in the future. 1. Please add a busy/available tag for each event. This allows me to use scheduling services. It would be nice if events are default as busy, but have the option to be “available” so that when a scheduling service sees the event, it opens that slot. 2. Creating an event that span over multiple days. The UI isn’t great for this. It would be nice to have a graphical date picker, as opposed to the current scrollable text date picker. I like to see the day I’m picking (Mon, Tues, etc), instead of just the number date..Version: 2.10.0
Interface and functionality are nice! The widget needs a little workThe calendar app and primary functions work great! The calendar widget on the Home Screen works well, however when adding it to the Today view panel it sometimes does not work correctly. If I enter the today view by swiping right from the Home Screen the widget functions properly. If I enter the today view from another app by pulling the notification panel down and swiping right, the widget prevents me from scrolling inside the today view. Great job Proton team, I enjoy using all of your team’s applications!.Version: 2.16.0
Getting BetterI’ve been a paid Proton user for many years and have been anxiously awaiting a calendar so I can fully break the Google shackles. The user interface is still pretty clunky. Adding an event should be a few clicks and done; including a click-and-drag-on-the-time-block event creation, quick and easy time entry, etc. These feature are lacking. I’ve been using Calendar5 forever and they have perfected the process, so I guess I’m spoiled. The number one feature still missing is the ability for me to share a calendar with my wife and allow her 100% edit/delete/add capability. The web app allows this, but the app doesn’t seem to..Version: 2.3.0
Looking good!First, I love proton and use all your apps, thank you for what you do. The calendar simply has all the things I need for a calendar so I am happy about that. Be advised It can act buggy when making changes to all recurring events and when syncing other calendars. My main issue though is the widget. The size is perfect but I want to see more of the things I have planned for a day. A lot of wasted space in the widget. Hopefully it’s a work I progress. There is a movement to de-google and move to more secure apps. You guys need to polish these apps to make the transition easier and enjoyable. Thank you!.Version: 2.16.0
Widgets Make the World Go RoundCould you guys add widgets? If you’re familiar with the base calendar from iPhone, it has a widget that displays the date on the left, then if there’s anything planned that day is displayed below that date, and on the right it shows upcoming events. That’s the main reason I haven’t completely switched to Proton calendar, because I like being able to swipe left and seeing my upcoming plans for the week. Now if it has something to do with the app needs to decrypt to be able to view my calendar, then that makes sense. Otherwise please add widgets, that would be awesome..Version: 2.11.0
Solid calendar appDoes all that a calendar needs to, clean and easy to use. Notes: 1. Sometimes the date selected on the calendar and the agenda shown below don’t match up. 2. I would love a task list function for stuff that needs to happen on a certain day, but not at a certain time. 3. The time minute increments are not the best, I would prefer the minutes to be restricted to increments of 5 so that I don’t need to scroll through all 60 minutes to get to the time I was to set. No one uses minutes 1-4, or that could be a toggled setting..Version: 2.20.0
I want to love it, butI really want to love it, but so far I am just limping along with it hoping more features will be added. There are many features that “other” calendar has that are incredibly useful. Being able to search the calendar events/entries, being able to view more than one month (my other app allows zooming in or out to any desired level-view the full year, one, two, or three months, etc.). It would be great to have a place to share suggestions in hopes that they will be considered for implementation in future versions. I will happily update my review if my experience changes..Version: 2.0.4
Good enough for personal useI've been trying Proton Calendar after using Google for many years. So far it works well enough; I like its simple interface and the numerous color options for events. The only major drawback for me is a lack of an iPad app. I know Proton is pushing themselves as an alternative business solution (e.g. Proton Docs), but Calendar would need a lot more features in order to compete with its Google and Office equivalents. I don't need as much for personal use, but just a note for anyone considering using them for business..Version: 2.14.0
Fix Time slotLove this app and grateful everyday that I switched to it from Gcal My one constant gripe though is that every event has to have an end time, such as “8:30-9:30”, instead of just being able to put in the start time. This is an added hassle and unnecessary step, end times should be optional. Also, the time increments when setting a start time for events is in increments of 1. It would be much quicker and sensible in increments of 15, like :00, :15, :30, :45, etc. With these two simple changes, I would enjoy using the app 10x more. Also, after you create and event, it doesn’t let you alter which Calendar it’s associated with, meaning you have to delete the event, and make it from scratch to connect it to the correct calendar. I’m not sure what the utility of that is, and hope that can get fixed too. Thanks for this great app and for listening to my feedback!.Version: 2.16.0
I lose minutes every day waiting for this app to save changesSaving after deleting an item or changing the start time is agonizingly slow. I get a spinning icon for at least five seconds, then when it finally goes back to the day display, it takes at least another five seconds for the item to disappear or move. I really have better things to do with my time. Also, sometimes items that I have deleted show back up on certain days, and cannot be re-deleted in the app. I have to go into the desktop app to delete them again..Version: 2.16.2
Pretty niceFor the use case that i have, it works perfectly fine. Some features are missing, such as the ability to edit the calendar an event is tied to, and mass editing events that repeat can be a little finicky when you have a spotty internet connection or just randomly(all of which manage to fix themselves) The app seems super polished and unpolished at the same time, it looks super nice with a lot of customization options but it needs more work to be finished..Version: 2.15.0
Ok so far, need more view optionsI like the idea of privacy focus calendar and Ui is decent but it can be improved. On Google calendar you can view all the events in a month with little info detail about the event, that view is what I liked most about Google calendar and I would love to see that in this app. Currently it only shows colored dot I have to tap each date to remind myself what is happening on when which is little bit of annoyance. Love the app so far, keep up the great work 👍.Version: 2.6.1
Need Support for Additional CalendarsNice to finally have a calendar app. One issue however…. I have two Proton email accounts where I receive event invites and only see an option to login to one account at a time. I would like the ability to access both accounts to show events from both or filter as needed with the check box. Am I missing something? I see the option to check or uncheck the calendar which portends that this feature is maybe coming soon?.Version: 2.0.2
I want this to work but…I don’t want to use google services for a number of reasons, so I came to Proton. After a couple of weeks with everything working fine…all of a sudden my events are not syncing to my mobile device. I cleared cache and that seemed to do the job…but how long will that last? How will i know for sure i dont have a call i will miss? I cant run a business if this basic functionality is questionable. I will keep using the app because i want this to succeed. If it works for an extended period i will be back to update my review.Version: 2.12.0
App date changeIf you could change the date daily on the app itself just like apple calendar please..Version: 2.22.0
SuggestionLove this company and all their apps are great. One thing I would really like to see with the calendar app is a search option. Please please please!.Version: 2.5.0
Calendly Integration RequestI’ve degoogled my life and moved to Proton fully, however this isn’t without some challenges. If you could please add Calendly integration to the priority list. It’s already iCS compatible and would be a HUGE quick win your customers who need booking coordination with clients.Version: 2.25.0
Solid service, needs android calendar API integratonWorks for what it is, but without android API integration there's limited use (no niagra launcher, etc). I see lots of requests for this feature, not sure if it's a security issue or just another dev time issue like tablet support for protonmail, etc.Version: 2.25.1
Why no search?Lumo says it should exist, but it doesn’t. Searching my calendar is a must-have feature..Version: 2.25.0
When connecting to my ProtnMail, I should see a short calendar event description. There is something missing from Proton Calendar. When I take a look to all my emails and see a few email notifications, I have to click on each one because there is no description of what this email notification is about. Google Calendar let us see what our emails notifications are without having to click on it. You should do the same..Version: 2.25.0
Give me more!Love the iPhone app but without a partner app for Apple Watch, it’s less useful. I rely on my watch for appointment alerts all day every day so this would be a key integration for me..Version: 2.24.0
Excellent Ap but a couple of quibblesI think this is so close to being perfect. A couple of quibbles. 1. You can’t edit reoccurring events on the app you have to use the desktop site. 2. An Apple Watch app and complication would be extremely nice so I can glance at my watch and know what’s next. (This is way more important in my opinion over a CarPlay widget which exists for some reason).Version: 2.21.0
The best!Works well. It has colors and all the bells and whistles, and it’s safe and private.Version: 2.22.0
Everything’s excellent beside one thingGreat calendar, nice and clean ui, but it would be really perfect if it had widgets.Version: 2.15.0
Great, but…The widget could be much better. As of now, there’s no reason for me to use the Proton Calendar widget over the Apple widget. Make it as good as Apple’s..Version: 2.16.0
WidgetKüçük kare widget olmalı..Version: 2.16.0
SafeSecure and good calendar.Version: 2.16.0
Waiting for locationAll of Proton’s apps are good. I can see they’re making progress. But no location search for calendar is pretty much a deal breaker for me. It’s basically a note, not even a link to Apple or Google maps. Not sure what I’m supposed to do with that. Not helpful by any means..Version: 2.16.0
Awesome appAll I would say it needs is a search feature and maybe a zoomed out feature to look at all the months of the year and where all the dates line up day of the week wise, otherwise amazing application and is my day to day calendar just makes it difficult to plan sometimes if you work shift work and hard to find dates ahead of time.Version: 2.13.2
It worksWorks okay. Missing a lot of features that I use daily on desktop such as duplicating events, drag and drop to change time, and touching a time to add an event, which are great inconveniences..Version: 2.14.0
Icon always says 31The Home Screen icon always says 31 rather than showing the correct date. Font size in calendar also very small and doesn’t seem to have way to adjust..Version: 2.14.0
Enfin on peut éditer les événementsBravo.Version: 2.13.0
Widgets?App itself is really nice with some great views but no widgets makes this a non-starter for me unfortunately. Hope to see them added in the future..Version: 2.12.1
The event description field doesn’t support multi line entryThe iPhone app doesn’t support multi-line entry / entering new line in the calendar event description field. Reported that to the support, they replied this is by design, not a bug. However, the web client does support multiple line entry no problem..Version: 2.13.0
Please we need an Ipad AppHi proton team, we need an iPad app ASAP! I love all your apps so far, but the calendar is meaningless if I can only check it on my iphone or in web..Version: 2.12.1
Almost perfectAll they gotta add is something similar to google tasks.Version: 2.12.0
IPad support please! The overall ecosystem is great and could definitely rival with tech giants, but please,an iPad tailored version of this app is definitely required!.Version: 2.12.0
The Perfect Calendar App - Online OnlyI’ve had this calendar app for a while, and it’s been great watching it improve with changes like how events show in monthly view, and adding different colours for events is a big game changer in how useable the app is for me. With the addition of the options for colours for events, making looking at your monthly view way less of a one coloured blur, this calendar app has gotten to the same point of functionality for me that I loved using google calendar for, but with all the added security and privacy of Proton. My only gripes are small, and do not deter me from using the app, though for people without access to monthly data, it might. The calendar is only able to be updated with new events or have current events edited and saved when connected to either wifi or data, you cannot add or edit anything when entirely offline. I’m lucky enough with my phone provider that this isn’t a problem for me, but I can see it being a headache for others. My much much smaller gripe is that when you create an event and select “all day” for duration, once you click save and the calendar goes back to day view, it’ll go to the day prior to the one you made an event for. So if you select the 20th, make an all day event, click save, it’ll go back to day view on the 19th. As a one off, just an annoyance, but if you’re scheduling multiple all day events, it gets a bit cumbersome. Other than that, this app fulfills all my mobile calendar needs, and I find it to be an easy and comfortable app to use..Version: 2.12.0
Great but…When are you guys going to get the iPad version up and running? The phone version on the iPad is horrendous and difficult to use on the road..Version: 2.7.0
A very innovative concept, but…..I do have the appreciation for the innovative approach for the idea of a Proton calendar. Kudos, Proton!!! 👏🏼👏🏼 The gains in productivity with the essential feature of privacy that comes with it!! Fantastic!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I do have to admit though that I often wonder why Proton didn’t integrate the calendar with the ProtonMail app. Considering how the events and invites are being automatically exported from Proton mail to the calendar anyways. I would and will give a 5 star rating to see this one day..Version: 2.11.0
Invite Attendees/Participants is a basic function missingI love Proton and the principles they stand on. But please allow us to invite participants within the app, like this is a basic calendar function. I get it needs access to phone contacts but the proton mail app for iOS has this function so I’m not sure why calendar doesn’t yet..Version: 2.7.0
Calendar widgetPlease get a widget.Version: 2.6.0
No weekly viewUnfortunately this is a key feature for me that’s still missing in the app. I won’t use a calendar app if it doesn’t have a weekly view feature - I’m disappointed this still isn’t implemented :/.Version: 2.6.1
Almost perfectJust add the option to attach a file/photo please..Version: 2.2.0
WidgetGreat app, can you add widget feature?.Version: 2.5.0
GreatAwesome app Is it gonna be available for the iPad?.Version: 2.5.0
Please redesign the monthly calendar view on iPhone to show more infoI love how all of protons apps are so privacy oriented but I can’t use your calendar app b/c the monthly view does not show any information other than the dots to indicate a scheduled event. Please redesign the monthly view to show a brief snippet of the daily event. Being able to see a whole month at a glance is such a time saver. I am currently using Google Calendar because b/c of this reason but I would switch in a heartbeat if I had a better alternative. Thanks for your time. Also, are there any plans to add a calendar widget to iOS in the near future? It would be very convenient to view my tasks without having to always open up the app. Thanks..Version: 2.4.0
