(Solved) Seems like the latest update didn’t fix the crashing issue when trying to upload clipsI love Medal TV. Since the latest update, it’s hard to upload clips because uploading clips on Medal TV mobile app is broken. When I select any clip and then press next, the app crashes. Hopefully the issue get fixed soon so I can upload my clips from the mobile app so I don’t have to use the Medal TV PC app every single time just to upload clips Update: My clip was the wrong file format, maybe that’s why the app crashed. Good app and settup, very confusingVery recently, I have become interested in using medal for gaming clips as I was interested because of its high quality and general unique platform and setting. Since many of my other friends used this app, it seemed like a very efficient and easy way to share gaming clips to my other friends. However, the app is very confusing and has no tutorial or guidance of how to use the app whatsoever, and I specifically wanted to create clips on mobile, but it had no guidance to help me understand how to make videos/stream clips (if you even can) on a mobile device. It only recommended me clips of people that im not even interested in, when I was focusing on creating my own content. I looked for information everywhere to try to get an understanding on how to use medal in general but it also was only directed to computer and laptop users, and if I cant do anything but follow or watch clips from people I dont even know, then what is the point of me even downloading the app? The design is really nice and I know that medal is very efficient but it heavily lacks features for mobile users and I felt very frustrated and irritated when trying to figure out how to create my own content. Fails its main purpose (updated)One of the big selling features of the app is being able to edit your drafts offline. It simply gives an error. I don't know if nobody is able to, but having contacted customer support, it seems to be a common issue they have no solution for. --- UPDATE: everything in parenthesis below regarding the desktop app has been resolved, and was a GPU settings issue separate from but affecting Medal. Upped from 1-star, but only to a 3-star, as editing drafts still doesn't work and I still feel that should be the mobile app's main purpose. --- (Instead, I use the mobile app because all videos play at half speed, then pause to buffer, then skip to catch up in 5sec intervals on comp. Purged, reinstalled, and went through GPU control panel settings. My own videos play fine in other video players, so I have to have them open side-by-side to edit, which defeats the purpose of the built-in editor simplifying the process. --- Sticking around in hopes things improve, but unsure why they're marketing either as main functions when they don't work as intended yet. ).JaiChoVersion: 4.1.0

One very useful feature that needs to be addedOnly reason why i didn’t give it a five star is because unlike the computer version, i don’t see anywhere where i can search my own clips by game. I don’t want to have to scroll through all 100+ of my clips to get to a certain game I’ve been waiting forever now for them to add this feature. It’d be five stars for me if i was able to search through my own clips filtered by game instead of the mess it is. Hopefully we will see this feature added it’s my only gripe when using medal on the phone. I’ll open medal on the phone to show a clip to a friend and end up closing the app because it’s taking several minutes to scroll through all the clips without a clip search feature or a game filter just kills it’s use case for me. Not too fond of “premium” otherwise fun and usefulTL;DR: I don’t like the premium subscription added, others don’t either because they feel as if once free features are now behind a paywall and I think there’s better ways of making money from the platform other than subscriptions I really like this software! However, I am on the side of people that don’t like when companies later on add subscriptions to their products. I wouldn’t mind the premium subscription if it didn’t take away features such as higher quality video and no watermarks on videos. I feel others would be satisfied if the premium service didn’t take away what made the software special. I think keeping things like 3+ minute clips, the editing feature, and profile cosmetics for premium members would be fair rather than taking higher(or at least medium) quality video and watermark-free downloading on all platforms (pc, mobile) for free users. I know companies need money to stay afloat, it’s just a fact of life but I’m sure there’s more user oriented ways on doing this. Maybe adding ads to the for you page could solve this. Very good appI love this app , it is really good to show clips to friends and for looking at other people’s or your friends clips. I also like how easy it is to get to other places. I know it just came out but the Valorant stats aren’t accurate. It just released which is fine but a problem I see is that the teams aren’t right. For example I played with my friend snd uploaded the clip and it showed that we were on different teams which isn’t accurate. The scores are accurate though, but that’s the only problem. Works perfectly on PC, however…There is one issue preventing me from giving this app a 5 star rating, and it’s the issue of downloading clips via the mobile app. I am unable to download any of my clips without seeing a “something went wrong with the download. please try again” error message which results in the clip not being downloaded. It appears to only be resolved ONCE when I delete and reinstall the app. My ios and app are up to date so I do not see a reason why this issue has been persistent for months now. AmazingFirst of all, I can clip bots. Lol. Second I can connect with friends in a differ way and I can have fun doing so. I love this app and think it was well made because you can use it on all platforms.( My personal favorite is my pc.) I also like that you can filter the clips you want to watch and not have to keep scrolling to see one clip of what you want to view. Buggy playbackThere are a few issues I’ve run into with Medal that have been consistent, even when having the app for around a year. One of the issues I found is that clips will randomly mute themselves in the middle of playing and you have to manually unmute each time. Another issue is when viewing your feed from creators, going into another menu (such as your profile and clips) will continue the audio from the feed clip playing. Not letting me download clipsSo this app was working great on both my iPad and PC for 6+ months. But, all of the sudden, it doesn’t let me download any clips on the mobile app. I select all of the clips that I want to download, I press download 1080p clips, the loading bar comes up, then nothing happens. I’ve tried running repair mode on my PC, deleting and redownloading the app on mobile, making sure that medal has photo access, restarting my iPad, but nothing works. Brilliant, wish the clip editing was more similar to desktop thoLove love using Medal so much, i use it all the time on my pc but man when I go to edit clips on my phone for ease of access, when I view the edited version on my PC it looks different. The clip is still edited how I edited it but instead of it overwriting the clip like it does on PC it makes a new copy of it, keeps the original, and the new copy has weird ui on the pc version. MidI just got the app cause I want to start posting more gaming clips on a variety of webs, apps and etc. I uploaded a video and it won’t pop up. I checked the website and it doesn’t show either but it says 2 clips. First upload failed & the second one said it uploaded but I still don’t see it. I closed and reopen it many times and nothing. Great app, but dumb mechanicsI love using medal on my pc, especially because I’m able to watch them whenever, but when I downloaded the mobile app, I found out you have to pay to link your pc account. Why would I pay 8$ a month to watch 30 second clips that are on my pc already. I just think it’s stupid that you need to pay to link your account. Great for clips and creatingSince I got my PC, I’ve been using metal besides Stream labs stream buffer as far as feel like it’s better quality audio and the fact they have a social side to. AmazingBest app for… well everything. You can edit videos, share videos, there is NO ai slop, you can take screenshots, upload videos, etc. all with the free version. Human Error!Earlier I tried to log into the app for ROBLOX rewards. I struggled a bit, but the AI engine on the main website explained it works best if you change what browser you try to log into. This App Is BrokenIf I could give it less than one star I would. It’s a stupid forced app to use for uploading clips from your PC when the original uploading to Xbox Live worked just fine. Okay if you’re using the free versionMedal is a decent app to use if you’re not paying money for it. Once you pay for their premium features and expect them to work as suggested things start going wrong. Clips not recording daily, corrupted clips, clips being unable to edit. Worst part is their support requires you to send them all kinds of info on the recording and you most likely won’t even get the clip back, it’s gone forever. 50/50 chance of getting the app to do it’s jobI will occasionally have a seamless upload from the mobile app- occasionally. every other attempt will give me an “Export Failed” error with no further explanation as to how to fix the issue, or if your clip is longer than one minute it will cancel the upload halfway through to tell you that the clip is actually stored on your pc now and cannot be accessed. on the rare day that the app does do its one job correctly, it’s annoying that there is no option to toggle clip visibility before uploading it onto your public profile- you can only edit it afterwards. overall not great..QNAVVVersion: 5.12.3

And clipping playbacks and sharing. I have a whole story/Series I'm working on. The clips shared links don't work unless it's shared on their platform. Please help!I downloaded and connected medal on my pc after friends told me it was free. I tried clipping a few things in Fortnite and could perfectly see and watch them on my pc. But when I went on my phone so I could save and watch them but when I saw the clip on my phone and I tried to click it but then it said I needed to start a free trial. Horrid and terrible app to use and clipping withLogging onto a game can result in it leaking some of your log in information meaning if you have full session record on you can have your account details leaked if you forget to trim it out you either end the clip and start a new one, or end it and start a new clip. Also you cannot share clips without a paid subscription making it frustrating to use and just annoying. Not as good as GYGUnfortunately, I deleted my GYG app to download this when I realized that I was grandfathered into the app. Then I realize that medal costs money. What I enjoyed about GYG was just the fact that they made money off of ads, and there was no premium or subscription model. Silly decision the devs madeI’m very fond of this clipping software “Medal” I use on my computer, but until I realized in order to have the clips on your phone with the app, you are required to pay a subscription!?!?! LameI’ve used this app for a couple years and it used to be free to do limited stuff. But I could still clip thing and share them depending on the length of the videos. BUT NOW YOU HAVE TO GET PAY JUST TO POST TO MEDAL FEED OR EVEN CREATE A LINK?!?! This app is ridiculous and just plain out money hungry. There was already a premium to upload clips that were longer than 5 minutes but now you have to pay to do pretty much everything on it. Never connectsSo frustrating as my clips in my drafts won’t connect to my phone. It says make sure you’re on the same wifi and to restart it. Which I did, still didn’t work. I even uninstalled the app and tried but again it doesn’t work. The first time I tried, it didn’t work then I left it. Tried again a few weeks after and still doesn’t work.
