App in GeneralI really love this app and the amount of reading material. However, not sure what is going on with the app and the notifications. I go into the app and check to see if any updates are posted from the books I’m reading. Nada. At the bottom the chapters it shows there is more to read, but I get the message that the Author is updating and try back again later. Also, when I clear out my notifications, a few minutes later, the app will say I have the same notifications that haven’t been read. It’s annoying for someone like me so doesn’t like to see notification numbers attached to the apps. I had over 150 notifications on the app, and it finally reset. Now it’s on the climb again. Scams you with coinsThe stories are good but man... the coin and voucher scam is really starting to make me angry. App in generalApp came up on FB and I started reading a story that sounded interesting. The book has almost 200 chapters and almost all of them are locked. The app has daily task you can do to earn bonus ivouchers or you can pay to get Icoins and Ivouchers. The daily task will only get you one new chapter a day. The problem is the beginning of books are boring it gives you the background of character and settings. Once you get past this and get to the meat of a story is when a person is hooked. Since the chapters lock so quickly, I am not invested in any of the stories and can easily stop reading them. I did continue with the one book, but at one chapter a day it will take me more than 6 months to read. I have only been reading on the app for a week and I am losing interest in continuing to use the app and read this story. Worst reading app I’ve ever triedAll the 5 star ratings are to get coin in this app. The only book I started to read wasn’t bad but after 4 chapter they wanted me to pay a crazy amount of coins just to unlock 1 chapter. You can earn coins but only enough for like 1 chapter a day. So if you want to get any reading done on here will cost you at least $50 a book or months and months to unlock each book for free. So many better apps for reading. The Unassailable CEOGood story, good characters but pretty expensive. Also I have a problem because nowhere in the app does it tell you how many chapters there are in the book you are reading. It just keeps asking you to buy more coins. I have already spent $15 and am nowhere knowing when it will end. I suggest that people should just buy paperback romance novels instead. I-books like this are rip-offs. They are so poorly-written gramatically. They should have editors to proof-read. Over priced and confusing to useThe first 5 chapters were free. Then I had the option to watch ads or pay for more content. I tried to watch the ads, but it didn’t allow any extra read time. I paid .99 and it only allowed me to read one more chapter. There’s 200 chapters in total…. So it would cost me 195 to read the whole book? Annoying to buy “per chapter”I hate that you have to pay per chapter. I either want to purchase the entire book or not at all. Even worse, it doesnt tell you how much to purchase the book. You just buy coins and “ivouchers” which I’m not really sure what they even do. Eventually you get to a point in the book where you can’t continue until you buy more. Its also super expensive to buy more coins. The chapters are super short so this is a total rip off. My kindle is $10 per month for unlimited reading. I will not be using this again which sucks because I’m partway through a decent book. Unreasonably EXPENSIVEI’d give zero stars if that was an option. Started to read a book and pay high amounts for chapters. Decided to buy all available chapters only to get to the ‘end’ and the book is not finished. It has been at least a month since there has been a chapter added. No book should cost this much. I have already paid over $100 Canadian for a book that I cannot finish and will likely end up costing me even more if it even is completed. It may be an interesting book but not worth that much. This app should have a flat rate for the whole book instead of having to keep paying for each individual chapter. It’s ridiculous! If I knew this is how this worked, I would never have started to read this book.
