HorribleTell me about a company that doesn’t have a clue what customer base they serve - looks like I found them.
They decided to charge a subscription model (a very expensive one too) without a one-time purchase option, to the very customers they serve, the money and budget conscious, the financial savvy, the only group of people who aren’t stupid enough to fall for the subscription scam.
And the new app isn’t great either, and iCloud sync is gone. Did you read what data is linked to you? Do you truly trust your data with them? Never, trust is earned.
Also, they proved to leave you in the dust as a customer in a moments notice. The old app will likely be killed, even if they say they won’t, why wouldn’t they? They may accidentally screw it up and force you to update. It’s a playbook. But even if they don’t, one iOS update will prevent it from working. So why should they have my hard earned money for them owning me and my data? After they proved to not care about their loyal customers.
You can choose to be competitive but for an app like this, you need a tier with basic features for a one time price.._elgatoVersion: 3.0.6
Only subscriptions????I’ve been using the older money pro app for 10 years. I paid $30 upfront for it in 2015. I don’t mind paying for the app at purchase, but a subscription is not needed for me to use it as a simple checkbook register. iCloud sync is all that is needed for most users. Forcing users to use a subscription plan is a terrible money grab, IMHO. Worried my older app version will stop working in the future now. Solid Potential, Poor ExecutionI’m currently testing Money Pro 3.0 and I really like the new graphic changes—they’re clean and visually appealing. However, there are several things that bother me. First, being forced to pay for a membership to use this new version feels unfair, especially considering that the previous version was completely free. Second, it’s frustrating that you still can’t add subcategories under a main category in the Budget section. I assume there are other issues that haven’t been addressed yet as well.

Worst business decisionI own the Mac and the iOS app. Both purchased at full price. I don’t need multi-platform sync support. My bank is not supported for transactions downloading. Not liking the new designI’ve been using this app for years and love the original version. this new version feels off and over simplified. my only issue with the old version is when you export to CSV, it doesn’t not break out the transaction by account - which makes the data very unusable since you just have amount and date. of course they did not change this in the new version.FndndndndndVersion: 3.0.3

3.0 no sirveLa verdad era usuario top con la versión anterior esta versión la quisieron hacer más bonita pero no sirve.
1. Llevaba un presupuesto de hogar, antes se podía filtrar por la persona que cargaba el gasto o ingreso. Ahora hay que incluir el filtro “agente” un paso Más para la carga.
2. Al momento de cargar o reemplazar montos la app no se actualiza, tengo que cerrar y volver a abrir para validar que el cambio se hizo efectivo.

Subscription RequiredI once loved the previous apps. Been there since the beginning. Now in order to use this app (which the previous app said to upgrade to this app) it’s no longer an option but a requirement for you to subscribe just to use basic features to track your expenses.
