Banned words and charactersOften when I ban a word it just makes it again with a capital letter however as I can only ban 20 words i end up having to remove words I still don’t want. Please increase the amount of banned words I can have perhaps 30 as there are a lot of ways it works around my banned words to basically put the exact same word. Also It often puts my characters into the story with different descriptions then what I put, I would love to add more information about my characters when they are anime characters that have specific descriptions and give them powers you could add an optional power section for people who want to describe their characters powers in depth for the AI to draw from, also I suggest making it so people can choose to tag characters as Hero, Villain or civilian for certain stories. Other then that it’s amazing! Can you create a older sibling younger sibling relationship tag and a boss-employee tag since I have a character who is the boss of some other characters but I can’t mark it like that also there is one glitch, if you type something in the banned words list like this: After/after it automatically locks it in place and you can’t remove it anymore, please fix this as I only ban it for certain parts, it the same for any combination including: finally/Finally EDIT my apple ID account just reset!.FinnSiennaVersion: 2.7.3

Great AppI really like this app. AI dungeon was getting so restrictive I had to find an alternative. There’s a couple things I’d like to see in future updates. The main thing (now) is that it takes 10-15 seconds to produce the three possible entries at the bottom. That’s too long. Sometimes I get bored and switch apps only to come back and find out the AI timed out and didn’t write anything. I’d rather only have one choice if it means it only takes a second or two to come up. Other than that, and the fact that I’ve lost a few stories I was pretty far into because the auto save feature wasn’t functioning and I didn’t notice, this app is pretty great. 1 week later edit: This dev is great with customer service. I made a request for them to fix a problem (other users did too probably) and they fixed it in the next update. Thank you. Wow. Simply Amazing!Based on Reddit posts, I see evidence that the developer of Dreamily is humble, truly open to feedback, and passionate. He or she just really wants us to experience this awesome project. Right now, it’s FREE... and we don’t have to register!! Amazing. I’m currently a couple hundred words deep in a test story and I’m a bit shocked at how sophisticated and solid quality the AI responses are. Dreamily is similar to the highest point of a certain highly popular yet controversial free to play AI game, but that game’s AI was lobotomized which was an unintended but unavoidable result of censorship. However, Dreamily might be different—it looks promising and I hope it goes down a better path than its competition. Now, in light of recent events, I can’t trust developers so easily after witnessing mismanagement and grotesque privacy breaches committed by certain other AI developers. Well, if Dreamily’s developer publicly vows to never read or infringe on their users’ private stories, then perhaps I can recommend Dreamily to everyone with a clean conscience. It’s okay, but could use adjustmentsOkay, so I actually quite like this app, but there are many things that I don’t like, such as the word limit. I feel like the word limit is unnecessary. Paid features could be chatting/calling that AIs and sharing worlds, but not words. There should also be a report button for the world sharing feature, since some worlds that are shared include very, very gross (and sometimes illegal) things. The app also crashes every time I try to use the expand feature in the app, and the AI often tries to make characters related or dating when in the world, it’s stated that the characters aren’t dating or related. Sometimes it also gets the character details wrong, even though they’re written down in the character description. And I also don’t understand what ‘power’ is for in the app. What I do like about the app is the text enhancement features (expand, condense, re-write, etc.); these features have greatly increased the quality of my stories. The ability to establish relationships with the characters in the world is also incredibly useful, and the AI assistant is wonderful to have, especially as an un-paid feature..Galactic_gamerYTVersion: 2.7.3

I absolutely love Dreamily but..I don’t understand the word count, having to wait another day for 7,000 more words. I feel like because, well to my best friend and I, I can’t afford paying $5.00 to get words. My best friend can, it’s just ridiculous, I guess. I really enjoyed it when you didn’t have to pay to write, because of how it’s become a coping mechanism? I mean personally, I’m all for having pay and stuff, but it’s become really hard to use, just having to wait a day after using it almost daily, because i can; you know? It’s also just frustrating that you can’t see where your words run out until you do, and it hits you with the “pay monthly to get more words!”. Love itI’ve been using ai dungeon for a long, long time, and i’ve seen it fall from grace right before my eyes. i remember when there were no ads, no subscriptions.. i finally decided to give it up because of the glitches that wouldn’t let me write what i wanted despite me paying consistently for the “advanced” ai models this app is amazing. the ai though obviously far from perfect (duh. it’s not real. you’ll have to edit a lot, but it’s very good for what it is) works well with the type of stuff i write and i like the clean layout a lot more. working with an app actually aimed towards the stuff that i used to use AID for has made things a lot easier and although i wouldn’t necessarily recommend this if you use/used AID for what AID is actually made for, for the people who like writing more book/story-like things, i would definitely say give this app a go.Anonymous binchVersion: 1.5.0

Very good!This is very good and I can see a professional writer getting ideas from this AI, however there is a bit of a continuity issue, for example, I prompted a story about a murderer and his reluctant accomplice and it suddenly became how the victim was still alive even though he had been described as stuffed in a suitcase and I even prompted it describing it as carnage (dark but I find stories like these interesting) and how the murderer had killed him in self-defense as the victims gang jumped him, but then suddenly it was also they cared for eachother mutually? In the end the app is very good and I love it with my heart but maybe the AI could take into account past sentences and whatnot, however this is just a suggestion and something I wanted to point out, in the end it’s a very good app..HypnoziaVersion: 1.5.0

Other targets?I love it but the word count Dreamily is an amazing app that is able to make stories and worlds come to life. That’s what makes dreamily so great. It doesn’t restrict the users in how they express themselves through story. No matter if the story is made for coping, passion, inspiration, or just simply entertainment. However, the new update with having to pay for word count is risky. This makes a user feel restricted and trap especially when they aren’t able to afford a subscription (If we’re being honest, no one wants to pay 5 to 40 dollars for word count). This may lead to a user to feel restricted in how much they could use the app, perhaps even lose interest in the product, or find another app that meets the needs Dreamily does not. Personally I would love it if the word count was not the target of monetization and the number of words the Ai can write was. I think it would be definitely a more enjoyable experience if the AI could write above 280 words and advance into more descriptive writing (with of course paying membership). More descriptive and advance writing seems a lot more worth the money than word count to me..HipeepwassupVersion: 2.4.1

Its nice but..!I love dreamily. I’ve used it for a while and it’s just so fun to have help creating fun little stories. But i have a complaint. I used to be able to write whenever, and it didn’t have any limit! I never paid for anything. It was so nice and i love using it when i’m bored.. but now it’s not been that fun to use due to the weird limit. I used it only once today because i haven't used it in a couple weeks and now all of a sudden it keeps showing the premium/buy option and i can’t write anything. I would give it five stars but...The 7000 word count is a bit annoying. Like for example you have really good ideas and everything. You're on a role. And then suddenly you run out of ideas. So you go to the ai bot. Only to receive the message saying you gotta wait a day for more words. Majority of your audience are young adults. Meaning some of us don't have the money and possibly no permission to buy anything. Pretty sure writing with dreamily has also become people's safe space as well. Exceeded expectationsWas not disappointed. The AI is convincingly human, often writing things that might not fit what I’m going for, but still having subtle understandings of my general gist. It actually remembers the pronouns, mannerisms, personalities, etc of characters (unlike AI Dungeon). Instead of restricting me to a very stilted system of “do”, “say”, or “story”, I can just write what is happening in first person, third person, with the time pacing I want, when I want. The UI is extremely easy to pick up. It’s like if a notes app had an AI helping you. Absolutely PhenomenalI never ever review apps, but I just had to leave a review for Dreamily. I had been using AI Dungeon for a few months prior, but it became very restrictive and a “pay your way” kind of app so I decided to try and find a different A.I writing app. Then I found Dreamily. Dreamily isn’t even on the same level as AI Dungeon. It’s truly such an amazing app, the A.I is very smart and understands characters and celebrities without you having to give much detail. There isn’t any ads or monthly subscriptions, which really shocked and impressed me. I hope whoever the developer of this app is keeps it up!! It's good, but...I find it rather weird that despite being a supposed app made by a Chinese company, it, or dreamily does not generate anything after you write something in Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, and probably other languages too. That makes it very hard to write in my opinion. This Dreamily AI also really loves to make its way around LGBTQ subjects, and though I've found a way to make it work, it is FRUSTRATING. There are still a lot of things to work on with the app, like how dreamily cannot comprehend what happened the last five sentences ago or how it generates entirely different stuff from the paragraphs already written. Good app, but can’t log in.I LOVE Dreamily. It has helped me write so many stories. But I cannot log in unfortunately. When I type in my email and password, it says “Please check box below.” But there is no box existent. I am assuming I must scroll down, but I cannot do that. I think in the settings you should be able to scroll down as well, but I cannot. Another issue is how if your story has over 50,000 characters, it becomes a laggy mess and Dreamily can barely function. It’s alright, but I remember the AI being better.I haven’t used the app in a while, but recently started (trying) to use it again. For some reason the AI seems weird. The grammar is wrong, the AI rarely takes past sentences into account, and the stories have become uninteresting. I’ve written legit most of it because the generated responses were generic or made no sense. I remember being able to make long stories on the generated responses alone, with very little prompting on my end. Maybe it’s just me, but eh. I used to be obsessed with dreamily, but I’m not really a fan of the new update. One of the best AI I’ve seenThis AI program is one of the best I’ve seen. It has many cool *free* features such as getting to choose how long you want the responses to be, adding characters and nouns that the AI will learn, getting 3 entries from the AI to choose from, choosing what type of AI you want (general, romance, fantasy, creative, etc.) and more. This app is significantly better and more fun to use than any other AI I’ve seen thus far. It has been such fun to create worlds and get immersed in the universes of your own making. Literally obsessed but only one small problemThis app made writing fanfics and little stories about my characters much easier and more fun, there’s only one itty bitty thing I’d like in an update… Since it starts to get slow once I go over about 30,000 characters, I was hoping there would be an option to make only certain sections of text to be loaded in at a time, so it doesn’t start lagging so much. Yes!Girls, Theys and Gays! Get over here! I originally came here because I wanted more things like ai Dungeon, but this app tops it! After I played around with the mechanics, I decided to see if this ai knew anything about my favorite games, and it freaking WORKS. I don't have to explain who this character was! And they even embodied the fandom version of her (Undying from Undertale). I love this app! You could probably make a lot more fanfiction with this if you are unmotivated like me or can't think of anything. I encourage anyone who reads, writes fanfics, or is part of any fandoms to try this! Deletion and pronounsI really wanted dreamily to add they/them pronouns for characters that are non-binary or gender neutral that you try to put that label on them and so the a.i can remember the characters pronouns instead of having to change it. It keeps assuming my character is a girl and calling her “She” instead of “Them” I just feel like it’d be a cool feature to add especially for gender neutral characters. And maybe dreamily can add a feature where it doesn’t delete texts that are generated when you leave? An annoying IssueI’ll keep this brief but I’ve been encountering an issue that makes an aggravating drag. When generating, the AI keep forgetting to add spaces after punctuation and quotation marks. While this issue isn’t downright terrible it does make reading difficult especially with dialogue. This problem wasn’t present before the recent update so I’m sure it is fixable. This is really goodI’ve only had this app for a few hours, but I really like it. As someone who enjoys writing, I enjoy being able to take my characters and put them into something that takes them on adventures I couldn’t even think of! One thing I would ask for though, is that in the relationship maker part of the character additions, for there to be a ‘crush’ relationship. Love the app! Just one flaw.I love this app so much, I use it nonstop to write stories and it's by far the best app ever when it comes to writing. But I notice when you have a lot of words written in a story, for example one of mine has 60k char(s), the text starts getting slower. when you type on a new story the texts pop up quicker rather than just being delayed and slightly slow. Amazingly wonderful!This is such an amazing app! I was expecting a lot for it when I heard about it from a friend and it is so far exceeding my expectations. Great game but new bugIt’s an amazing app, I love it a lot, but recently there’s a bug. I’ve tried restarting my phone, deleting the app and reinstalling it, trying new characters, trying different accounts, but nothing works. For some reason, whenever I message a character, they completely ignore my message and go on about something else. I started to notice this when the whole alpha testing was going on, but idk if it’s connected. Please fix it, otherwise half of the app to me is pointless. Don’t get me wrong I like this appIt’s a really good app and I moved from ai dungeon to here. One of my main problems, however, is how it seems obviously used for fanfiction. Dreamily glitching and acting weird.Hello, I’ve came to write this review because I have payed tons of money for this ai to be broken now. Dreamily ai’s haven’t been perfect and that’s okay I don’t expect them to be. Lately the bots will almost never pay attention to what you have to say, They’ll role play your character and adjust it to whatever they want to say and it’s just glitched. Most times they won’t even really respond to what you do. It wasn’t always like this and it used to be a bit more responsive to your actions and not roleplay your character or glitch out as much. The ai was never completely perfect but this is really bugging me because it’s getting in the way of some nice roleplays. And figuring I’ve payed money for this app, Please resolve this problem asap! More updates, more restrictionsAt first I really liked dreamily because I could write stories and use the AI to fill in what I was too lazy to write or just create stories for my own entertainment out of boredom but paying for the amount of words? Cmon dreamily, paying the Ai chat should’ve been enough and you could’ve added a paywall to sharing worlds or something (maybe it would prevent the mass amounts of minor nsfw being posted), also add a report button! I think that’s a pretty basic feature for a social app, it boggles me that it wasn’t included since the beginning. Don’t want to payI’ve had this app for a while now and now it is asking me to pay for something that I am not even monetizing. I like it better when the app allowed me to write as much as I wanted without any limits. Dreamily is supposed to be a place where FanFiction writers can write freely but now they are asking us to pay to continue writing. I’m not paying money for something like that and I really want dreamily to take that back. If you are going to make an app that allows people to write FanFiction than you need to make the app free. No one is going to want to use the app anymore if you do something like this and your gonna lose more money by doing so. Once great app turned midDuring Dreamily's beta stage, it was just an AI writing tool. No account needed, no quota, no Character AI feature. It should have stayed that way. But instead, the developers continuously added features that made the app worse. The AI got worse, with it outputting sentences or anything nonsensical that don't relate to the context of what the user has written. There are more bugs such as: - stories being randomly deleted - the Undo button malfunctioning (words and letters get mixed up). - Stories not showing up in the user's menu The quota is also stupid, with there being a daily AND monthly quota. I get that AI is expensive and the devs need to pay the bills somehow, but they could have just gone with daily quota or put banner ads and users would be okay with that. But having a monthly quota would just literally make the app unusable for a few days or weeks, depending on how much you use the app. Sure, they give you a free daily recap of 500 words to use in your stories, but it's not enough given how terrible the AI is. Loved it once, no so much anymoreI’ve been using Dreamily for a while now, and it was easy to see in how I had multiple words running and even more stories. One day I logged in to look at the stories I had created the day prior. I discovered that not only were my worlds gone without a trace, but so were my stories. It was like I had a brand new account. This infuriated me and I haven’t really used this app since. My recommendation? Save everything you write or generate on a separate writing app. The stories that you can create on this app are worth saving..Lost_OnesVersion: 2.8.3

Make it free when?I been using this app for a while and I really enjoy it but I hate how we have to stop at 100k why can’t it be like 2m or a bit higher? For people who doesn’t spend money? I really enjoy how free it was, but now I have to wait for days just to continue my story while the old update I could just stop what I was doing make a new one. Poor managementIt's clear that the devs have gotten a bit too ambitious with the budget that they have. The addition of pretty useless features such as the character chat/call and discover (full of low effort worlds) have likely led to the horrible word limit and the degradation of the overall ai quality. It's unbelievable that the devs would prioritize keeping useless features instead of improving on their main attraction: the ai. Was awesome, becoming a cash grabIt was a great free alternative for a writing app that has great features, but all good and free things come to an end. Soon we will have to pay for the same features we currently use free. I get devs need money, but don’t market something as free, then turn on your word as soon as you amass a following. That’s why SoundCloud died. We have free prompts with no limits, that they decided to cap and hide behind a paywall. Poor move guys. Used to be GoodI'm not going to get into too much detail, but according to apple, I set up an account using my id to sign up since 2022. I haven't used dreamily in a while because the new updates have been severely disappointing, but I had an account with tons of stories I made when it was still decent in my eyes. Gone downhillThe AI seems to have gotten worse recently (latest update?) The sentences just don’t follow along with previous prompts as well as they used to, as well as just being incorrect. It sucks nowNot only do they now want to charge you monthly and limit how many words you can generate a month, but the AI doesn’t function properly when you select the gender of the character or make relationships between characters.
