RTC-OnDemand is the RTC of Southern Nevada’s (RTC) new transit program offering on-demand shared service for Southern Nevada residents and paratransit customers. The new service provides riders with the flexibility to schedule their RTC bus in the RTC-OnDemand zone.
How it works:
- Paratransit customers living in the RTC-OnDemand zone can call or book their same-day ride on the mobile app and travel within the zone or anywhere in the overall RTC service area.
- Non-paratransit customers can book their ride on the mobile app and travel within the RTC-OnDemand zone, including businesses, residences and/or an RTC bus stop to transfer to travel outside of the RTC-OnDemand zone.
RTC-OnDemand is an extension of the RTC’s current residential transit system with the current zone servicing the southwest part of the Las Vegas Valley and West Henderson. Service is available daily from 4 a.m. to 1:45 a.m. and costs the same as RTC transit fares, starting at $2 for fixed-route and $3 for paratransit customers. Vehicles are ADA-friendly and seat up to 12 passengers and are equipped with free WiFi and three bike racks.

Just Use Google MapsI love this service. It’s incredibly convenient and hopefully it can be extended to the rest of the city to help alleviate the public transit issues. My one complaint is that the drivers use Apple Maps instead of Google. I have had issues with drivers missing stops because of the inaccuracy of Apple Maps, which tends to tell the user to stop after they have passed the stop. Google Maps has no such issue..Version: 3.24.3
On demand finally services to SSTT!All riders not just those with mobility issues can now schedule drop off to the south strip bus terminal! So convenient and needed.Version: 3.21.0
HappyIt takes me an hour to get to work and home at the end of the day riding the regular bus. I didn’t know anything about the RTC-ONDEMAND!! One of my mama’s work for the RTC and she put me up. I’m so grateful to her. I’m grateful to RTC-ONDEMAND. I get home in 12 to 15 minutes!! I can sleep in and plan after work activities. Great service!First off… The staff is great! In the beginning, the service was great however, after changing Para Transit riders back to Para Transit after using a slide guinea pigs was not right… We should’ve been grandfathered in for the program… also limiting the service area to certain zones does not make any sense… Jack R..Version: 3.4.0
Cheap and convenientI don’t have to wait for a long time and I don’t have to spend a lot of money compared to using other ride share transportation. The app is also easy to use for a non techie person..Version: 3.4.0
