Great app BUTI cannot for the life of me figure out why it makes my phone so hot and kills the battery. There is no other app, no Matter how graphically intensive, that kills my battery as fast as this app and that’s with the screen off. So, given that it can use my my entire battery in less than two hours it puts a huge limit on my ability to use. Dope app!I use audible usually but I can get pretty much any books PDF online for free so I copy the pdf and listen to it on here for free. Great AppOverall the app is very very good. It is a little tricky to figure out how to get PDFs into a directory were the app can find them. I am using the United States voice Aaron I believe and it is pretty good but not as smooth as I would like. I think one of the US girl voices is a little smoother. Weird VoicesThe voices are really creepy…Some of them sing the words which is very odd. The voices sound like those creepy 90’s recordings of voices but like way more eerie. Excellent for a free appI have used quite a few paid pdf readers. To be honest they were either equally as good as this app, or worse! It may not be perfect, but I’m still very happy with it! I have saved lots of pdf documents from work and listened to them during my commute. Just a note that the app may not be suitable for documents that have too many technical terms and/or abbreviations. Does not work....Kind of shocked by the reviews on this app. First off the user interface is no intuitive at all (Would highly suggest looking into some Human-Computer Interaction design principles) Secondly, the stop/pause buttons do not work. When I click the sound button it starts reading from the very top and does not stop unless I close the application. When I try to start at a different paragrah it starts to read out loud both??? Don’t DownloadThis app has horrible electronic voices, and it is not intuitive to use. It limits you to only three pdf uploads before making you pay. Also, there are ads embedded within the interface—I clicked on one that looked like a green start button my first time using the app, and it stole my personal information and I began getting fraudulent purchases on my personal card. It might be just meI don’t know if it just doesn’t work on my end, but it’s reads articles from the bottom to the top. As in it reads a sentence at the bottom and makes its way up. It’s also saying the words backwards. It’s reading right to left, but it’s saying it backwards. For example, it said “nine” as “enin”.
