Perfect, but too expensive.$10 a week?? A weeeekk??? TEN DOLLARS A WEEK? I get it. But I don’t. The thing is- a lot of people use this app because they can’t find much time, patience, they forget, or if anything like me procrastinate and probably have adhd and get too side tracked when cleaning out their photos for more storage. And again- I emphasize- a lot of people FORGET about it. I feel like it is yes a great approach to get space cleared out easily, helps make decision making much better BUT it’s a money grab. The creators of this app knew this going into the pricing. They think- it’s only $10. But- it’s $10 a week and for those who forget and put it off it’s a lot of money and adds up quite quicky. $10 is nearly half a tank of gas for me. Put it in a perspective like that and it’s a lot. Half a tank of gas takes you a long distance. Just a suggestion- if you wanna keep customers who continue to use this often and frequently especially if we use our phones for our work a lot like me- I’m a photographer so I constantly have to go through and delete the undesired photos often or they will take up all of my space, but I don’t think it should be worth $40 a month. Best User ExperienceThe amount of advertised apps to help clean up your camera roll, this one is what users have been looking for! Instead of treating your camera roll like an algorithm or repeated images, this is YOU finding the time to sort through years worth of photos in a format that we’re familiar with and is entertaining. My only complaint is loading. Images, when swiping after a few minutes, get blurry and the operation system starts getting slow. At times Ive had it malfunction where I have to close and reopen the app but the positive note is even if you have to do that- it pretty much automatically saves the progress and you can start where you left off. The only other feature I wish it allowed is where you can see a month worth of photos in its entire album- not just slides. For instance, I bookmarked a lot of videos I reviewed because they were long and needed more attention than I was willing to set aside for a swipe through. When I went to look at them, bookmarks are in the same format as everything else, swiping. I wish there was a way to look at it all at once. Not just one at a time. Besides the malfunctioning and slow load time for photos, it’s still one of the best apps Ive seen for the task at hand. One of my favorite app findsThis app is honestly pretty amazing, I found it while looking for ways to clear up space on my phone having wayyy too many pictures and found it to be a fun and efficient way to clean up some space and get rid of photos i don't need. The only issue - and why i didn't give it 5 full stars instead of the four i did - was the wait between months to look through as a free user. The app categorizes photos by month, and every time you complete a month it makes you wait a little before going through photos of the next month in time. But the catch is that you only wait a little the first few months you do, each time you finish a month you have to wait an hour longer than you did for the previous one. Waited three hours between April and May? Now wait four between May and June. Seven hours between October and November, well here's an eight hour wait for December! I think it would make sense for it to be a fixed time even if it was like 6 hours or something I'd be more understanding than this, having a camera roll that is years long i'll be having to wait multiple days at some point if I want to keep going which is really difficult, especially because doing the app is actually really fun so it makes me want to clean my camera roll faster. So awesomeWhen I tell y’all, I’m SO bad at keeping up with organizing my photos. It’s so hard for me to pick and choose between hundreds of photos that look the same. This app is extremely easy to use, highly user friendly. It really allows you to make a quick decision and gives plenty of chances to review your decisions before you finalize. All you have to do is swipe right or left and if you’ve used dating apps or anything, you know how easy it is to make a quick decision off of the first glance. This app helped me sort through over 5,000 photos in a matter of a couple days and it kept my progress of sorting, even when I left the app. Overall, this app is super effective and makes sorting fun. There are also a lot of cool features that allow you to share the photos you come across, bookmark them for review, and they even give a “wrapped” option to review your stats on the app. I love how everything is divided through the months. Really good appThis is a really good app by far it really does help declutter a lot of unnecessary things I’ve saved in the past or just things i forgot to delete it might be a little time-consuming, but trust me this app really does work to help you clear up space in your phone because personally that was my biggest problem not clearing up space in my phone because I didn’t have enough space in my phone to basically do what I want to do or watch what I want to watch and then I couldn’t save certain videos from TikTok because then they said you know that there’s too much overload of data but most of our phone being backed up is because of our photos and the videos that we have so I think it’s best that you kind of really just get off your phone and stuff but not meaning to yap seriously it’s a good app. I get a four out of five. The only thing I don’t like or that I’m not quite fond of when it comes to this app is having to wait eight hours until you can do the next like deletion process. That’s quite literally the only function I use with the app. Quickly swiping or wiping in OTD has been the fastest and most efficient way to simultaneously see past media AND get rid of unwanted items. I’ll hold on to the app in hopes that feature returns but if it doesn’t I’m afraid I’ll have to find another option. ********** I’ve been scouring the App Store since the iPhone 4 (the best iPhone let’s be honest) for an app like this to clean up my photos. Why oh why is there not something like this built into iOS? Answer me that? Swipewipe is an extremely simple, elegant and beautifully designed app that, get this, makes removing unwanted photos FUN to remove. There’s no bloat and no extra “features” like Google Photos. And the way they implement makes it easy to see progress. The on this day section is a delight and the main way I delete photos. 1-2 minutes a day and you’ll have a cleaner library. Storage Life SaverI normally can’t stand these kinds of apps, because they are almost always very pushy with their subscription models. HOWEVER: Swipewipe has been SUCH a lifesaver. I have saved several gigabytes of storage space on my phone since using swipewipe. It’s fun and convenient to go through my photos this way, it’s as addicting as TikTok. The app limits you to one month at a time, plus your “On This Day,” and after that an eight-hour cooldown is required before you can do more swiping. Personally, this is okay to me! I have thousands of photos, and keeping things bite-sized is a lot less overwhelming than going through my photos manually. The app is not annoying about subscribing, either. You’ll get a pop up now and then, like after swiping. But you can conveniently close it. Not a fan of the weekly subscription model and I would prefer monthly, but I’d say subscribing to this app would definitely be worth it! If you’re on the fence, get it. You won’t regret it! I use the free version :)2024 Nov Update: Recently (the past couple months) the app kicks me out after a few minutes. It’s really not making me want to pay for it when the free one already doesn’t work. I love it tbh. The nerfs of the free version are a bit much at times, but honestly it’s still very helpful for me to actually get to deleting photos. I would just love one thing. A way to delete the photos I’ve chosen to delete in a month before I finish going through it. For example, let’s say my January has 2000 photos. I’ve already gone through 1000, but I’ve chosen to delete 700. I can’t delete those until I’m done with all 2000! And sometimes that takes wayyyy so long. I’d love if I could delete those 700 in bulk before I’m completely done, just so I don’t get tired and stop doing it at all. Maybe there could be a limit, where you need to have 500 chosen to delete before you can mass delete, or maybe you can only mass delete two or three times in the month (including the final one). Yeah, this is awesomeI just deleted 1,967 photos in under 2.5 hours (checked my screentime). That’s 5.28 gb of storage, dating back 1.5 years. And yes, the app tells you these metrics really obviously and makes the whole process super approachable. I was deleting roughly half my photos - it keeps a running tally of delete vs keep at the bottom as you go through each month, so I had a pretty good idea. That means I went through about 4,000 photos in 2.5 hours. Note that the app’s free trial is only three days, and then you’ll pay $10/week or $110/year. Yeah, that’s really steep. But you can probably get this done in three days with this app, if you pick the right three days and treat it like a project with a few dedicated hours (put your fave show/podcast/audiobook on). Or, pay for one week to give yourself ten days to clear the decks, then do the same thing once a year. Make daily prompts for members to achieve a goalSo I downloaded this because I loved the concept of easy swiping and especially how it’s broken up into days so it doesn’t feel unmanageable compared to my my camera roll. My camera roll is around 25,000 from screenshots I need to delete and taking dog pictures everyday at work. Objectively that is a lot to get through. Similar to weight loss apps where you set a weight goal to be achieved by a certain time. I think for example, I want to go down 2,000 photos/ videos every month (making room for phone storage). That’s about 66 photos a day. ALSO what would be cool is, for every picture you delete, you get a coin to add up and spend on a quick game like candy crush. The intermittent dopamine will make people come to the app to engage in something positive for themselves, while adding a simple game will keep people using your app forever. Even if the game isn’t the most exciting, they won’t delete it because it’s helping them manage their photos. Just what I’m looking forI have so many pictures in my gallery and sorting through them all and making the time to find the ones to keep and delete seemed easy but was pretty hard. SwipeWipe makes that difficult process very easy by providing a simple and useful way of deleting single photos in certain categories like by months and by the year. It also lets you go though photos from the day or photos taken that day from a different year. It also keeps a streak if you do it everyday. I’ve noticed lately that i haven’t gotten the notifications lately and I’ve lost my streak for going through photos everyday and I’m kinda disappointed. I also have a lot of videos and i notice that it’s hard for the app to load them and to view and then make the decision whether to delete it or keep it. So Efficient!I was overwhelmed by the number of photos on my iPhone and didn’t feel like there was an easy way to clear out my camera roll. I don’t even know how I heard about swipewipe, but I’ve had it for a day and I’ve already removed over 7k photos from my phone and given myself 20gb of extra space! It’s very easy to make quick decisions on what to keep with the swipe of a finger. I like that it lets me double check my photos before deleting and then if I make a mistake I can still always head to my recently deleted folder. The only negative is that the app doesn’t give any indication on what photos are live/bursts. I don’t really care about Live Photos, but I’d love it if there were some distinction of bursts that way I can make sure I have the photos I want, however, for now I can just go to my bursts folder in photos and make sure I have saved all the ones I want. Good concept; odd executionI’ve only just recently downloaded this app, but i’ve known about it for a while. the only reason holding me back was the amount of reviews in regards to the subscription-based payments i saw on tiktok. i wanted an app that not necessarily was free, but was at least a one-time payment sort of deal. but besides that, this app is honestly really good at saving time when going through my camera roll. i enjoy that it divides your camera roll by month and tells you how many photos are in each section. it’s user friendly in terms of having an undo button and confirming each month altogether before actually deleting the photos. one MAJOR drawback to using this app for free is the cooldowns. i dont enjoy the cooldown after finishing each month, and the time increasing after each month; it’s really pointless and annoying if you ask me. i understand its just a means of getting users to pay the subscription, but it takes away the “time saving” aspect of what the app is supposed to bring. if you’re going to have a cooldown, at least make the time consistent..ThenimhereVersion: 1.03.00

100% worth itLet’s be real, i grew up with technology and i very very very rarely leave reviews unless there’s something in it for me (a game asking me to rate it for diamonds or something) but i had to stop what i was doing to just mention how amazing this app is. You keep or delete pictures date style (swipe left to delete, right to keep then you overview at the end of your session). The organization of the photos are by month & year and there’s even a tab for memories on that current day and duplicates and there’s even a option to swipe randomly or by screenshots or something else I forget in the moment. The shuffle option is the best because you go through about 20 pictures at a time so it’s not overwhelming or anything! I have sooo much more i can say about this app but all in all, it’s easy to navigate and makes cleaning up your phone for more storage sooooo easy and stress free. LOVE - Extremely well-designed appThis is an excellent app! I needed a way to clear out my photos that was a method other than just going through the whole photo library, which is tedious and likely never going to be fully finished. Swipewipe is genius because the design is simple and pleasing, it splits your photos into bite sized albums by month to sort through, and it’s extremely easy to use with little barrier to action. I love that the free to use part of the app is still highly functional, and although there are now ads between photos, it doesn’t hinder user experience in my opinion. One small feature I would love to see is just an icon or distinction for photos that are favorited. This would make it easier to remember which photos within a month I liked the most and want to save while still swiping pretty quickly. This is truly amazingOk buckle up everybody, because i ramble. SO, My old phone didn’t have much storage. I mean it was a lot but I hoard photos and that phones storage was absolutely no match for me. At the time i had about 10k photos and felt sad having to part with a single one (Delulu, I’m aware.) Eventually that phones storage got so full it just stopped functioning and I couldn’t delete a single photo even if I wanted to, cause the phone had essentially broken. I got a new phone with more storage which i still take tons of photos on, and I have such a fear i’ll break this one too. this app has helped to so much in making quick decisions in choosing which photos I absolutely need, and photos that don’t mean as much to me. Honestly Really love this app!I have slowly just be overwhelmed with how many pictures I have and I know so many of them are pictures from school or random screenshots that I took to send to someone and then never deleted. This app allows me to once a day in the morning enjoy the memories of that day while also deleting the pictures I don’t need! I love this app! Love it, BUT…First I just want to say that this is a great app concept. I am a college student, pretty avidly against subscriptions at the moment because of that financial engagement, so I do not pay for a subscription. That being said, I think the app is pretty good even without unlimited swipes. It still gives me the opportunity to go through quite a few photos without paying, which works fine for me. BUT, I will say that I wish it didn’t repeat photos when going through the “random” selection. I go through the allotted 20 pictures/8 hrs, and I find myself swiping through pictures I have already seen. It is not very effective when I have to keep going through the same pictures over again. Also, sorting through pictures that are similar is difficult because there is no way to really compare them side to side. Other than that, this app is pretty decent. Great app but…The only not so great part to the app is needing to buy a subscription to go through more than one month of pictures every 8 hours. I’m not bashing them all the way because of it because I know people need to make money and it’s a free app. I would just like a better option like watch this 30 to 60 second ad to go through another month. The month to month every 8 hours only downside is if you end up having only a handful of pictures in a month and finish swiping through them and having to wait the 8 hours after the few pictures. The upside is that if you have a month with 600+ pictures, you get to go through all of those before the 8 hour timer starts again. All in all, the app is definitely worth the price of free in the App Store. A Lifesaver!I have been struggling for years to get my photos under control. They’re just useless when I have so many but it’s so hard to actually get through them and delete them. I found this app through an IG ad and it’s been a game changer! I’ve only had it a couple days, swiping through things in the spare minutes I have waiting at the dentists or standing in line, and I’ve already freed up 4 GB! At this rate I’m gonna be able to save like $40/year on iCloud storage. And they have GREAT customer service! THIS APP IS AMAZING.When I tell you guys I am SO bad at keeping my storage at a normal amount. This app literally helps me so much whenever I wanna use it. It's literally perfect and I love how it shows each month and how many photos/videos you took that month. I'm currently using it right now. About 1-2 months ago I was using this app and I saw they added something in the middle of the screen by the 'KEEP' or 'DELETE', And it showed how much you kept and deleted. I was super glad they added that because it made it a much better experience so you can see how much you deleted. But a few days later I realized they removed it and I was kinda bummed. Literally would be 5 stars if I wasn’t broke LOLI am actually obsessed with deleting photos now!!! I am a photo hoarder and have been struggling since my son was born in April because I have NO storage, i had over 30,000 photos and 1,500 videos!! This idea is genius because it breaks things down in a simple, clean, organized way and eliminates the hassle of having to press at least three buttons to delete a photo from your camera roll. Fun & does what it’s meant to :)Made a chore fun! Turns out when I go through photos I get rid of about half on average 😅 should free us some space and make it easier to access the photos worth looking at :) and it’s fun to revisit old times! More than 5 starsI’m not exactly sure what it is about swipewipe that just works, however, it just works. For starters I am certified picture/video HOARDER, from useless screenshots, products I want to remember to buy, memes, tiktoks, etc I try to hold onto it all. I pay for extra storage every month because of it, but it gets to a point where it’s just entirely too excessive. Swipewipe genuinely helped me fix this issue, and way faster than I expected to on top of that. Any time I would simply try to delete anything or organize my camera roll, I would simply become bored and give up and the cycle would just continue. But swipewipe genuinely makes it so much more appealing to do. I was able to take my camera roll from 20k pictures/videos to 12k in only 3 days. Best app I’ve ever used !!!When I tell you I have ocd and it effects everything including how many pics or vids I have in my camera roll it’s been such a relief to be able to go thru my camera roll so quickly and be able to get rid of SO MUCH! I started off with over 18,000 photos and videos and now I have around 4,356!!! I’m so happy I really think everyone should get this. And it’s only 30$ per year! To me that’s a steal tbh. One thing u will say is it was a lil annoying at times when things didn’t load up completely so things were blurry but I just waited a min and it would usually work. And sometimes. Good, wait time is an issueAnother review put this into better terms but I feel as it needs to be shared more. It is a great app and a fun way to clear storage but the wait times changing get very annoying. Every time you complete a set the wait time before you can do another goes up by an hour. I would put 5 stars if they had like a set time of about like 6-8 hours instead of the continuous growing time. At some point I’m going to have to wait multiple days to continue. If this time was changed I would give it five stars. I think it is a very fun way to clear your photos, I like that it lets you undo and review your photos before deleting them, and the way the photos are organized. LOVE IT!!So I'll admit I have a stupid amount of photos- I take several pics and videos everywhere I go, I download so many pictures from twitter, instagram, tumblr, etc. I'm always taking screenshots and forgetting to delete them later. I love going through pics and deleting them but with my ADHD it's such a daunting task. But this app is almost fun in how easy it is to use and sort through pics! Now before the last update, I did go through about 3 years worth before it crashed, but I simply uninstalled and reinstalled and it works perfectly now. Amazing!I had over 21,000 photos and videos in my phone, dating back to when I got my first iPod Touch in 2010. Needless to say, half of it was garbage. More than half, actually- I deleted over 12,000 files using swipewipe and now have under 9,000 left. I don’t have to worry about cleaning out my pictures ever again. I don’t need to worry about deleting apps just to make more room in my phone, or buying additional cloud storage from Apple. Swipewipe’s system was so easy to use and much more encouraging than manually deleting things from my Photos app. This definitely took several hours, but swipewipe also breaks it up by month. Actually amazingI’m actually in love with this app. It’s become a part of my daily routine, to do my “on this day” photos. Currently I have a 21 day streak and I have a goal to reach 30 days! It’s a really fun way to look at past memories, while also de-cluttering my photos in a non-overwhelming way. 50 photos a day is WAY less pressure then going through all 20,000 of my photos at once. It’s also cool to remember certain things, like, oh, this day last year I went to the zoo with my family! Awesome! I remember that. I enjoy going through the memories. Im not usually the type of girl to keep up a streak on anything. Keeping up a streak just for the streak’s stake has never had much appeal. But the app already being fun definitely helps motivate me- after all, I don’t want to miss today’s photos! Amazing, 100% recommend for ADHD usersEven with the free trial I’ve saved 20+ GBs. I would definitely recommend it for someone who doesn’t enjoy doing time consuming tasks or someone who cannot sit still very long. It’s a simple concept and easy to use. Extremely helpful and easy to useWas served some ads for this so I got it; in less than a week I quickly went through my entire camera roll with the following results: began with a total of over 18k photos and videos, have now deleted 13,248 photos and 1,026 videos, and as of right now my camera roll only has 5,420 items. Great app idea but with major flawI love the idea for this app and it’s SOO much faster than having to click delete twice on each individual photo in the photos app, and i like how the photos are split up into months to make it more manageable. Free Trial (or lack of thereof)I enjoy swipewipe and i find it very useful when it comes to clearing my camera roll however there must be a bug with the free trial. I did the 3-day free trial so I could prepare for a trip I was having so I could have a lot of space in my camera roll to take pictures. I cancelled the trial on the second day of me using it so I would not have to worry about charges. Despite this I will still charged 7.99 for the app and I had to pay it. Saw an ad on Instagram, tried it, satisfied.I don’t usually trust things I find on Instagram ads. But I tried this because I’ve been trying various photo cleanup apps and I have been happy with this one. The app is simple, colorful, easy to use, and quick. I have liked how easy it is to go through my old pics and quickly decide what ones can go. I find myself going through pics with swipewipe when I have some time. UnimpressedI was really enjoying the app, despite the hefty $4.99/week premium plan I was paying for. However, I viewed the charge as a major motivation to not put off completing going though my camera roll. I ended up swiping 47k+ images, deleting 26k+, a huge relief! The process of swiping makes it easy to get through each month of images, however it is not the easiest to compare multiple similar images at the same time to really be able to pick your favorite to keep. And, when you complete reviewing a month, if you need to change an images status to keep or delete, it then sends you back to the beginning and not where you left off in reviewing. Where I took 3 stars off, comes from a recent change to the app, where every 2-3 images I now have an add to swipe out of. I also finished ONE MONTH and then was hit with a limit that I could not swipe for another 7+ hours unless I updated to a higher plan or watched an advertisement. These additions highly impact the app experience making it much less user friendly. I could justify the annoyance if it was a free version, but to be paying close to $20 a month and have these annoyances and restrictions? Really bummedI don’t usually go out of my way to leave reviews for apps but I was SHOCKED by the changes made in the latest update. The app is called SWIPEWIPE, and from mid January until now I have loved being able to look back on a day swiping through the photos to see which ones I would like to keep, that is until today… In the last update the daily swipe feature has been removed and switched with a “feed” feature where you scroll through and click a trash button underneath the photos you want to remove… I HATE this feature, not only is it not as “FUN” as the old swipe method but it takes much longer to go through your days photos… Ideally the option to either have the swipe feature or the feed feature would be provided. Or worst case scenario the deleted photos would collapse on your feed so it was easier to scroll… I had paid for a years subscription to the app up front and now I am a bit bummed I had done that. Terrible and Annoying User Experience UpdateThis app was really helpful, and I loved it and recommended it to friends because it was the easiest way to get through a plethora of old photos and actually clean out my camera roll. Without paid, it will let you swipe for 20 or so photos and then make you wait 7 hours to swipe again. Can't use ads to bypass wait time anymoreI used to love this app because I would just watch ads to bypass the cooldown to review more pictures. A new update though looks to have removed this feature and I'm not a fan at all. Only being able to review 30 images in 8 hours is just so incredibly unproductive. You're losing money because my likelihood of buying a subscription hasn't increased at all, the only thing that's changed is you're not receiving ad revenue. In fact I've found myself using the app less often because of that, it just feels like a waste of time. This is probably a me problem but I can't even buy the subscription anyways. It just gives me a screen saying "Retry". So even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to. Its a really good concept and it was my go-to for clearing up storage for years. Good idea but the actual app is kinda bad.I think this app is a cool idea, but there are multiple problems with the app. Firstly, it is very laggy for me.
