ReciMe: Recipes & Meal Planner Positive Reviews
Lots of great featuresI love this app, I ended up paying for the subscription by accident but the importing features are really nice so I’m still glad I have it. The free features should at least include the importing from paste I think. My only issue is that the app is still a little glitchy: sometimes you can tag a recipe with the cuisine type and then the tag won’t save; sometimes while editing a recipe I am locked out of editing text no matter where I tap so I have to close the recipe and open it again; sometimes the URL detection pops up and the orange button to paste is missing so I have to dismiss the window and try again- my workaround is to go through the “browse” option because the URL detection never fails there; it took multiple tries to update my phone number because the change didn’t reflect until after I closed the app and reopened. Ultimately these things don’t make it a bad experience overall, and I think they’re things that can probably be fixed in the future. I’ve been using this app to cook more lately and it’s really nice and accessible to have my phone out while I’m cooking with a succinct recipe format instead of long blogs to sift through. I also like the cookbook organization, it’s such an improvement over sorting bookmarks in a mobile browser. It also allows me to merge the blog recipes with the ones I have saved on Instagram, and I love rating the recipes so I can mark which ones I’ve made so far and keep trying the new ones..Version: 3.5.1
Loving it so farI’ve been loving this app so far! Have had very good success with most of my imports, definitely had so issues here and there but I love how easily it is to just adjust things if there are mistakes. I have had plenty of perfectly transitioned recipes though with no mistakes at all which is wonderful! The overall layout of the app is sleek, easy to read, and navigate. I love the meal prep feature the app has as well. With it being the new year I’ve been trying to get on a better meal prep schedule and the app makes it incredibly easy to just pick on of your imported recipes and pop in your line up to plan. The grocery list that is created for you is incredibly helpful (I’m quite scattered brain at the store) it just imports exactly what you’d need for the recipes you want to make and you can just check things off as you go. My only issue, or more request of the developers moving forward, I’d love it if they included an import feature for macro breakdowns. A lot of tik toks i watch/have imported include that for recipes and I’d love to have that be an option so i can keep track of that along with the recipe as well. And also with that, possibly in the future having compatibility with MyFitnessPal. I love MFP and I think these two apps could go hand and hand with each other so well! Thanks for the genius app and hope to see more improvements and features in the future!.Version: 3.8.6
Time saver!I got the free trial of this app but thought it was a bit pricey to buy it. I was sent a discount email and decided to pull the trigger. I am playing around with it this morning to meal plan for the week. This thing is going to be a huge time saver! I was using Google docs to plan and keep recipes but it was burdensome and disorganized. This app has a ton of features that will make my life easier. Even if I have to pay full price for it, I can see how it is worth it. At full price I would spend just over a dollar a week and it is easily going to save me an hour or two of time. It is soooo easy to import recipes. When I showed my husband he got excited because he has been bookmarking a lot of recipes. He is going to send me his links now so I can easily add them to Recime. The cookbooks you can customize are going to be really helpful and being able to edit and add items to my grocery list is a breeze. The only other feature that would be nice, and maybe they have it but I haven’t noticed yet, is the ability to add your grocery list automatically to an online grocery store such as Walmart. I like the feature where I can send my grocery list to my husband. That is really helpful too. I think this app is something that I will consistently use and can justify the price..Version: 3.7.1
Best app on my phoneI’ve been using this for the last 3 weeks or so and it’s amazing. At first I balked a bit at paying a subscription price for it instead of up front purchase, but it’s 100% worth it. Super smooth at pulling recipes from the myriad websites and saved Instagram posts I have or have to search for over and over again to recall recipes. The stay open feature is great so I don’t have to keep unlocking my phone while cooking, and once it’s saved to recime you don’t have to deal with the 10,000 pop ups or ads that cover your screen on the original websites, or search for the “jump to recipe” button. One upgrade I’d love to see (and could be a bit of an ask) is nutrition information. I currently add recipes here, then download to Cronometer, which works well, but one app to rule them all would be killer. Either way, if you cook a lot, have stuff saved all over the place, can never remember what you ordered that random spice for, or struggle to meal plan even though you have a bunch of recipes that you looked at over the past few days, this app is worth every penny..Version: 3.5.1
Great concept - need to fix some issuesI think this idea is brilliant. I purchased the yearly subscription because I saw the value. Right of the bat I had many recipes that they wouldn’t save, so I gave it another week and those seemed to have resolved. I watch a lot of channels where the recipes are in English and Portuguese and I was pleasantly surprised when I realized it could import and understand in both languages. Definitely helped me keep my recipes in line and I actually now make the recipes I save. Worth the price for sure. Not the cons: they need to fix some bugs because there are still times where some recipes it still gives me an error, even though the ingredients are listed on the post. Not as often as in the beginning but it still happens. But the most annoying thing about this app is how touchy it is. For example when you go to your cookbooks trying to scroll down is a nightmare. Everywhere you click on the screen is a “touch spot” and it clicks in a cook book. So to scroll down to choose a cookbook i keep “accidentally” tapping and going in the wrong cook book, so I have to keep going back to the previous screen until I have finally scrolled enough to get in the book. I have another 10 months left in the subscription, I hope they fix this soon or it’s going to be annoying and could possibly make it not worth renewing it..Version: 3.8.6
This app actually works!!This is the first app I have actually used that does what it is supposed to. This has made my life so much easier! Even down to providing the grocery list. This is a must have and worth every penny. I don’t even buy any apps, but I tried the trial and I will never go without this app again. It is so easy to use and extremely helpful. I had so many recipes saved everywhere and it just easily downloads them all into cookbooks for you. You can categorize the different types of recipes and I feel this will really help with my dieting as well. When I pick out what recipes I want for the week I put it in the weekly planner and it easily puts all of the items I need from the grocery store in a list! It saves me so much time. Finally an app that really does help me!! They’ve thought of everything and the Facebook group they have really helps. I love that they also take the time to ask you what you’d like to see in the app and they are constantly upgrading it to what we all need from the app. Please give it a try you won’t be sorry!.Version: 3.6.0
Love the idea, so far so good! Finally! I’ve been hoping something like this would come out for a while now. It’s been so helpful and efficient, from the main feature of saving the recipes to the grocery list/meal-plan additional features. They offer a one week free trial but in the end I do think the $10/mo is worth it (They also offer an annual subscription). Although one quirk I’ve noticed so far is that sometimes it’ll take a while to “import” the recipe (I was importing from instagram) and I’ve noticed it sometimes also gets stuck in the importing/loading stage. When that happens, I tend to just cancel the importing process and redo it by trying to import again, which usually loads it up then. I hope an update fixes that as it is a little annoying, but again, that’s the only “problem” I’ve noticed so far. Overall definitely recommend, it’s a great app!.Version: 3.5.1
Very helpful and promising appI was super excited to download to help organize my recipes from what I have saved in Instagram since it is chaos. I’ve only used it on about 10 recipes so far, but the import is smooth and UI is nice. Was a little disappointed that it is paid after 7 days - 1. I expected “in-app purchases” to mean more that there were extra fancy features for purchase, not effectively the core functionality after the free trial. 2. 7 days feels kind of short to determine if it’s something I really want to pay for. I have a bunch of recipes saved between Insta, Pinterest, NYT Cooking, and bookmarks so it will take me a while to get everything imported and really see the benefit. I think there are a couple enhancements that could be made for ease of use (ex: notifying if it can’t find quantities or effectively itemize a recipe to try to fix real-time instead of having to find the original again later) but am overall really excited to see where it goes and plan to keep using it for the time being since it does seem like their developers are responsive based on reading other reviews..Version: 3.6.5
ReciMeI have just started using this app, but I have run across something that is already driving me crazy. I want my cookbooks to be in A to Z order. Every time I add a recipe to a cookbook it re-orders the cookbooks starting with the one I just added the recipe to. The other cookbooks are re-ordered Z to A. I have just started using this app and I love the idea of it but can’t give a higher rating with this issue. Also, I have a question. What happens to my recipes if I decide to quit subscribing to the app? Update: After working in this app for 2 hours, I’m wondering if it’s worth my time to enter all of my recipes. I have a lot of recipes. The app continues to crash, the cookbooks continue to re-order over and over again. Here are some additional things that I have noted as I’m working: 1. Shouldn’t have to adjust the servings. 2. App should pick up number of servings from the pasted recipe. 3. App crashed after adding 9 recipes. Update: I have lost count of how many times this app has crashed. 1. Doesn’t pick up recipe notes. They have to be manually added. 2. Doesn’t pick up nutrition information. 3. No place to add calories except in notes..Version: 3.6.3
Hi’s & Lo’s!! READ THIS TO SAVE HEADACHE & 💰I have TONS of saved recipes. Was excited to get them all organized, and maybe actually cook something. Lol. This app promised to take my saved Instagram recipes and convert the recipes for me. It DOES not do this 75% of the time. It does not itemize the ingredients, even when the ingredients are clearly listed within the posting. It did however allow me to get organized and consolidate all these meals I’m dreaming of. I was also frustrated that it would not covert anything I found online at all, it wouldn’t even find it when saved in my phone. But the good thing is as mentioned I have all these meals saved in one place now. And that is very helpful. This app has some work to do. I’m glad I didn’t sign up for the initial asking price. When I chose not to initially join, it then offered the yearly rate at 50% off. I think that’s reasonable for an app that clearly still has a lot of glitches to work out. Im fine with paying $34 after the 7 day trial. I hope they work out all the kinks, this could be a great must have app one day..Version: 3.4.1
ReciMe User ReviewYes it is a tad pricey but if you plan to actively use it I absolutely recommend this app. I cook often and have a notes app list of nearly 100 different sauces, spreads, breads, etcetcetc that I want to learn so this helps me keep things organized. I also work in a small spot where we make each item from scratch including syrups, sauces, garnishes, tonics, sorbets, infused items etc so this app is amazing for keeping track of interesting recipes I want to implement at work. I’ve added hundreds of recipes to the app from websites and videos. I’ve noticed a big improvement in the app’s ability to track recipes from Facebook and Instagram reels. Much better than when I started using the app! Excited to see the team continue to improve. They seem very active and knowledgeable. The organization of the app is also lovely. Very clean and user friendly format..Version: 3.2.11
What I’ve been looking for! This app is amazing. I love how you can store recipes from all over, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and even ones from your own cookbooks/ recipes you have made yourself. It’s easy to load them once you get the hang of it. Easy to sort recipes. You can load recipes into a weekly meal plan and upload the recipes to make a weekly shopping list ( my favorite part). It saves me time and the headache around meal planning. Also if you have a suggestion the team is more than willing to work on adding/ change things. They just added a feature that lets you print from the app. Highly recommend joining the Facebook group where you can also comment if you are having trouble and either someone in the group will help or the creators. If you are thinking about it, give it a trial run but I guarantee you will love it..Version: 3.4.0
Bravissimo 👏🏼I plan meals on a yacht and have used Paprika 3 for a few years (which is also a great app), but this app allows me to import from social media so much easier - it can get the ingredients from a video for you pretty accurately even if the recipe isn’t typed out in the caption. Some videos don’t work, but more work than not. Putting ingredients to your shopping list from recipes is very useful and I like how the home page shows all of your cookbooks at a glance. It’s aesthetically pleasing as well. Initially I was just going to try it out and not pay since paprika does a fine job, but the social media recipes sold me since I have so many recipes saved there. Even if it doesn’t bring over The full recipe for you it still links it back to the post so you can get right back to it easily. Overall a great app that is worth using..Version: 3.6.0
Be like Nike Just do itDon’t hesitate run to the subscribe button. This app is awesome. It is easy to use and works on all my devices. The fact that it compatible with social media so I can upload recipients from all favorite blogger is amazing! I can’t say it enough this easy. It will revolutionize your relationship with grocery shopping and meal time. I enjoy going to the store now. Dare I say I look forward to grocery shopping. I pick my recipes for the week in the meal planner and I take out what I don’t need. The app sorts the list and we are off. I check off as I put an item in my cart and if need the recipe to check something it is right there not at home on the counter or lost in my photos on my phone. Seriously this is worth the spend. Just do it… download this app!.Version: 3.3.0
ReciMeI love the app! I love how you can add recipes on there. Organize them by different titles. You can even write your own recipes. Do meals plans. Even add your grocery list on there. But theres always a catch. You have to have a subscription. I don’t see a reason why we have to pay for a subscription. If you wanted to make money, you should have had people pay for the app. Then you can only do so much importing, before you have to have a subscription, which is ridiculous. The advertisement was amazing. It drew my intention. But it didn’t say nothing about subscription. Nothing at all. I downloaded it, and then as soon as you download, you have to either have a subscription or do the seven day free trial. Seven days is nothing. Maybe a month or two month would be better, not seven days. For the trial, you should be able to import more recipes than six. I think you need to do better and maybe get rid of the subscription..Version: 3.7.1
Pretty good, needs some improvementIf you’re like me and have used “plan to eat” for years and wish they would have a feature that captures Instagram recipes then this app is for you. The instragram capture is pretty cool. Especially for those recipes that do not link to a website to capture it that way therefore PTE renders useless unless you wanted to grab a pen and write everything down and manually input it in. It does lack some PTE features that I wish I still had. It needs an internet interface so you can plan meals on your laptop or desktop. It needs the ability to print grocery lists, it needs the ability to print your menu plan for the week like PTE. I haven’t decided if I will renew the recipe premium plan. I got recime to see if it works as well as PTE since having two recipe planners is confusing. I’m not certain I will keep it just yet, it certainly needs some improvements..Version: 3.7.0
Good but not greatI switched to this when Yummly was shot down. ReciMe is good but not great. The functionality it has is well thought out and works quite well. Definitely love the ability to add a recipe from the browser with one click. I have yet to run across any errors or glitches. It’s a solid app. But the four star rating is simply because I feel IMHO there’s a critical piece missing: being able to add your meal plan to you calendar on your phone. For extremely busy families, having something to remind you what you planned for dinner (yes I forget in a busy work day) will s helpful. Also, sharing the calendar with the other “responsible” adult in the house because I hate being asked what’s for dinner if I’ve already planned out the meal is a bonus. Some added integrations like this would actually put this at a 5-star rating..Version: 3.8.6
Almost a perfect appI have explored all recipe keeper apps similar to this one and this is by far my favorite. I have hundreds maybe thousands of recipes saved on Pinterest, Instagram, and tiktok and I love how easy it is to import them into this app. I love that I can organize them by creating different cookbooks and the meal planning feature is fantastic and makes my life so much easier. Before, I was overwhelmed with all of my saved recipes and it was nearly impossible to find what I was looking for but now it’s a breeze and I will definitely be cooking and baking more thanks to this app. My only complaint is it can be VERY slow, glitchy, and will crash often which is so frustrating. I am really hoping these issues are fixed with updates in the near future because I love this app and hope to use it all the time!.Version: 3.6.4
Every modern home chef’s toolboxGone are the days of relying on safari bookmarks to find recipes across the internet. Don’t get me started about trying to find a recipe on Instagram only for it to get lost in some tucked away tab of your saved posts. Before this app came out I would have to let those reels play on repeat while I try to put the recipe together in real life. Enter Recime, this app imports straight from Insta, the internet, or even a picture of your moms spaghetti sauce recipe! Gone are the days of trying to scroll past the countless drawn out stories on a blog to only accidentally click an ad and have to find the recipe buried deep amid annoying pop ups. This app is a dream come true, constantly getting updated with new features, well worth the cost!.Version: 3.2.7
Most used App! However…I love this app however I would love even more with a few changes. Ex: can’t edit the grocery category if a food item goes in the wrong place. Also while shopping and checking off items, the grocery list always returns to the top of the list rather than staying in place. I’ve been using the app for a few weeks now and twice I had to shut my phone off and start it up again because suddenly in the middle of cooking, everything disappeared—the recipe, the daily menu, the cookbooks etc. thankfully it was there once started up again but gives a fright! Perhaps that’s more of a phone problem. With that said, I don’t think I can live without this app now! It is my most used app! Thanks to the creators and please give my recommendations some consideration?.Version: 3.7.1
A Must Have For Cooks & Bakers!I came across this app when scrolling socials. After reading the premise of the app, I signed up for the free trial and dove in. 2 words best describe this-Game. Changer. The ease and ability of the ReciMe app to catalog recipes found both online and the ‘old fashioned way’ (books) makes it fun and easy to use. As a lifelong cook and baker, I have stacks of books and papers with recipes…now I have the ability to create an all new, all inclusive cookbook with ReciMe. I can easily download recipes I find online and I can also snap a picture from a paper or a cookbook and the app transfers it into format. Additionally, I can write in any recipes I have created myself over the years so now I don’t have to scramble (pun intended) to find recipes quickly. And as if all this wasn’t quite enough to persuade you to download and start using this app…you can search and share with others! That’s right, ReciMe has created an entire community of cooks and bakers that can interact and share recipes with ease. I’m still learning and working with the app, but I can honestly say that I am now using ReciMe as my go-to cookbook…jump onboard and let’s all share our love of food!!.Version: 3.0.5
MehThis app is such a good idea!!! but it’s frustrating that smart imports have a limit full stop. I’d understand a daily limit for users who aren’t subscribed, but when the major draw of the app is that smart importing, there’s no reason for me to keep using it when I’d have to manually import all the recipes I find. there’s nothing keeping non-subscribed users here, and I’m not willing to subscribe 🤷♀️ the ability to keep your phone unlocked and cook is also a cool feature, but it’s not the only app that does that, and the categorization of lists is basically just like Pinterest. it’s useful but not worth subscribing and not worth the download if you aren’t willing to subscribe. I’d rather just get a notebook and hand write out recipes I find online since at least that’d be cute and feel less like I got duped by an ad for an app that isn’t actually that helpful..Version: 3.8.5
Needs to be a Best Of…This app is one of those apps where you’re using it, and you start to think to yourself “why the heck didn’t I think of this! It’s genius.” I get a lot of recipe ideas from Instagram and Facebook, and I was always messaging myself the posts to reference for later, which is not ideal nor is it organized. This app makes it so, and is very user-friendly. I like that you can share your found-recipes, too, or have the option to make them private. There’s the occasional recipe that doesn’t always generate, but if that’s the case, it still saves the URL for you to reference later! I’m absolutely willing to pay to have this level of simple organization in my life that will help me be happier in the kitchen! THANK YOU!.Version: 3.2.11
Great recipe compilerOverall, I love the fact that I can have every recipe that I’m thinking about saving in one location or recipes that I have saved from multiple different sources in one location. The only issue I have is it does struggle sometimes to include all of the instructions if it could even find any. I like the fact that it put a list of the ingredients so I know exactly what I need with a simple picture which is great. But sometimes it just can’t find it which is not that big of a deal. If they could figure out a way to make it so that the instructions were always included or if there was a link attached to each one of the recipes so I can go back to the original video or recipe, that would be super helpful or at least make it a more obvious location that I can find.Version: 3.6.0
What I never knew I neededThis app is the solution to everything I hated about making recipes I find online, making a grocery list for the recipe, and trying to find the recipe again. I spent so much of my time just trying to do what this app does for you. I am someone who has a million bookmarked recipes on Instagram, TikTok, Google, and dog-eared pages of cookbooks. The fact that it puts all of these in one place IN THE SAME FORMAT is game changing. The ability to creat a meal plan and shopping list immediately from those recipes is also so helpful and something I never knew I needed. Saw an ad and I have never clicked download so fast. I’m not one for kitschy apps, falling victim to ads or even writing reviews. But for me this app is it..Version: 3.2.10
Awesome!I’m so glad I got this app. I have been wanting something like this for a longtime. I hated having to watch the cooking videos multiple times and follow the recipe. I would record the videos so I could go back easily to follow the steps. Now I can just share it to the app and it makes the recipe. As long as it caption has the ingredients and steps. It even creates a grocery shopping list!! Some videos don’t have the steps listed or listed well but you can easy edit the recipe. I have different cookbooks and categories (such as Mexican, Asian, etc.) so it’s easy to organize the recipes. Very happy to pay the price of this app instead of having to buy recipe journals to write in..Version: 3.2.10
Very handy app for recipesThis app allows me to grab recipes from anywhere and that is wonderful! Have gotten recipes from behind NYT’s paywall, Instagram posts, and library books, so we can keep the recipes for after we return the books. That is pretty cool but it loses a star for the wonky editing function. There are lots of ways to organize and edit within the recipes but the controls are hard to use. When you move on from one section to another, you can’t go back a section to update it. And the edit function (pressing on an ingredient, for instance) sometimes doesn’t work. I’m clearly pressing on the right spot but it doesn’t switch it to allow me to edit. I have to save changes and then go back into edit mode, and then it works..Version: 3.2.6
Its ok for the priceWhen I got the ad on Instagram saying there was an app that could import the recipes I got excited, I know there's a few apps like that, but I've never really downloaded any of them. I have thousands of recipes saved on there, so when I signed up for the free trial, I was disappointed to see that you cannot import them in bulk, so I tried to do a few from Instagram after it took quite a while to figure out how to add theapp widget on both Safari and Instagram so I could easily click it to share recipes, the link on the app wouldn't take me to the instruction page so I had to do my own research. And a few recipes that I did import from Instagram once I figured it out, took well over 25 seconds or so to import, it would take me hours and hours to go one by one and do it on Instagram I would go insane..Version: 3.7.1
Account Deletion DilemmaHi Developers! I’m very excited to try out your app more thoroughly but I’m having an issue. I signed up via my Apple sign in and realized after the fact I didn’t want to do this. I went through the process of deleting my account after I had already started setting it up. (This is how I know I’m going to love it as I already imported 5 recipes I had saved via TikTok/Instagram and was very impressed). My dilemma - when I try to re-sign up it says my account already exists as my email is tied to my Apple ID. How/ and or when will my original account delete so I can sign back up with my email without issue and pay via a cc vs. through my Apple Pay which I do not want to pay with. Thanks so much and looking forward to your response..Version: 3.6.4
Could be amazing, but misses the markThe concept of this app is perfect and what everyone who finds recipes on the internet needs. However, the bugs and functionality need improvement for it to be worth the hefty price tag. For example, scrolling to look at recipes is nearly impossible as it registers that you’re clicking a recipe no matter where your finger is as you’re trying to look through your cookbooks. Also, the import ingredients to make a grocery list would be fabulous if it also merged together matching ingredients. If two recipes call for mozzarella cheese, merge the amounts into one rather than creating multiple items. The app is glitchy and sometimes has difficulty in importing recipe ingredients. It’s a great concept but for the price of the app, it could be so much better.Version: 3.8.6
Versatile & Extremely UsefulI am very pleased with how ReciMe has improved my experience in collecting and saving recipes while also making it easier to follow the recipe when I am cooking. I had numerous recipes from websites book marked online, saved on Facebook and in Notes on my IPhone. I have been able to gather them all together on ReciMe with ease and safes into one of many cookbooks I have created in the app. Now when I prepare a meal I can now search all of my recipes by the ingredient, the type of cuisine or by the amount of time to create. Kudos to whomever thought up ReciMe and designed the app. You have made my planning and cooking experience much better. Thanks!.Version: 3.6.8
Great recipe organizer!I can finally see all my saved recipes from instagram in one place. I kept finding recipes to try and saving them, but to use them I’d have to go through a bunch of steps and it wasn’t well organized and your screen shuts off many times while cooking. Now I can have them all neatly organized in one format, no ads, even put ingredients in a shopping list, schedule a meal plan, and my screen stays on while I cook. Can also put my own notes/changes with the recipe. You do have to pay for a subscription to use it, but it’s not too expensive and there’s no ads so I feel like it’s worth it..Version: 3.2.10
Nearly perfect but..I’d really like to give this app 5 stars but I can’t because it’s got some unfortunate bugs. For example, when you want to edit your imported recipes, specifically the “steps” portion, it just doesn’t work. You can type whatever you want, but when you hit enter it disappears like it was never there. Sometimes you manage to delete whatever steps DID make it in from import in the process, leaving you worse off than when you started. That’s basically half the recipe that’s missing.. best case scenario, I’ll read the ingredients and magically remember how to cook from there. But knowing me, probably not. It’s disheartening for sure, in an app that shows a lot of promise. Maybe if this gets fixed, I can update my recipes AND my rating!.Version: 3.2.14
Game ChangerThis app is the solution to a lot of my cooking frustrations. I save a lot of recipes from Instagram and TikTok to my bookmarks and camera roll, and this has helped me organize them and make them much more readable (and thus way easier to cook). My only complaint so far is that you can only import one photo from your camera roll per recipe. Sometimes long recipes take up 2 or 3 photos, and it be nice if we could select and import multiple photos to one recipe. Also, it’d be nice to be able to create your own tags. Other than that, I’m loving this app and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family..Version: 3.2.10
ReciMe…more like ReciDream!!I downloaded this app on a whim because it looked easy to save IG and Tik Tok recipes… then i started using it…crazy easy! Then i started saving recipes into specifically named folders based on cuisine and type of dish and got very excited…THEN i used the grocery list feature…I DIED! It separated ingredients by AISLE!!! Something i do for myself when im doing a big shop. The love and care i felt in that moment was beautiful!🥹 At first I wasnt sure I was going to go beyond the free trial week, but as soon as i started using it, i knew i wouldn’t be able to let ReciMe go. I give it “🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳” which i think is the highest cooking emoji ranking one can give..Version: 3.7.1
Absolutely amazingI am still in the free trial phase but will definitely be paying for the subscription to this. This is so much better than trying to scour saved IG and Pinterest posts to pick what to eat! I would love to see a feature where the app could produce an ingredient-efficient menu for the week. So rather than generate the full list on ingredients from the recipes you've selected, it suggests a menu based on recipes that share common ingredients, especially produce or fresh herbs! That would not only simplify meal planning but make it extremely cost efficient!.Version: 3.8.6
This app makesReciMe is a fantastic app for organizing recipes in a simple and aesthetically pleasing way across any browser. The interface is user-friendly, making it easy to save and categorize recipes. However, I encountered an issue with the app's subscription model. After saving just four recipes, I received a notification that I had exhausted my limit. This was disappointing, as I prefer not to commit to monthly subscriptions that are that pricey. I would be more inclined to continue using ReciMe if they offered a one-time lifetime payment option instead of a subscription. Overall, it's a great app with potential, but the current payment model doesn't suit my preferences..Version: 3.2.10
I love it & I'm dissatisfied at the same time.I truly do love the concept of this app! Being app to import recipes from different social medias, cook books, week food planning, searching recipes by ingredients, & etc is amazing! This is the first app I find myself using constantly & loving. Unfortunately I don't love that once you use your 20 smart imports it's basically useless unless you subscribe. You aren't even able to import recipes you have written. I unfortunately don't normally have the extra $60 for a subscription, whether it's yearly or not. If there was a monthly option I would be more inclined to subscribe as I would use this service. Or if there was a free number of imports you get a month (say like 10)..Version: 3.6.7
Good app, but struggling to delete IngredientsLoving the app so far. It’s been easy to input the recipes and they are pretty spot on. However, I have been experiencing a glitch when I try to edit the ingredients. This happened when one of the recipes didn’t come through right. I can only delete one ingredient at a time. If I tap on an ingredient and delete It and then try to tap on another one It won’t let me edit or delete It. So basically this forces me to delete ONE ingredient, save the changes, exit out of edit mode, then re-enter edit mode before I can delete just ONE more ingredient. Hopefully this glitch gets fixed soon. This is happening on the iOS with my iPhone..Version: 3.2.11
A little glitchy, but worth itThere are a few annoying things, like you can’t leave the screen at all while it’s importing until it has saved, and it will ask me if I want to paste or import after I’ve already done it. But, overall this app is totally worth the cost and it’s so helpful to have all my recipes saved in one place. I’ve imported from screenshots, web sites and Instagram, and they’ve all worked. The only place I couldn’t import from was Substack, but I was able to download a pdf of the recipe I wanted and import that..Version: 3.6.6
Great app!The biggest benefit of the app so far has been the ability to load recipes taken from reels or social media videos. Love this! Love the ease of use and getting all my recipes from all over the web, Pinterest, Insta etc in one place. Only negative is that a small percentage of recipes don’t transfer correctly, usually in the instructions, and trying to edit it myself is strangely impossible. There’s an option to edit but either doesn’t let me edit the needed field or does let me select it but thinks I’m putting in a title or a header and it’s very difficult to type out a long instruction. Definite glitch there!.Version: 3.6.2
Love this app!It is a great tool for storing recipes….Im a collector! They are easy to download from just about anywhere except New York Times Cooking , all though I’m a subscriber. You end up with a grey screen where the picture of dish should be and where the full recipe should be is a blank white page telling you to go to browser to read the recipe. I had downloaded about 8 before I realized this would happen, now can’t delete them. My OCD doesn’t allow these get squares in my category lists and cookbooks. Hence the reason for the 4 star rating. Would have been a solid 5 if this problem could be resolved..Version: 3.6.13
NewAwesome.Version: 3.12.7
$60 a year to save recipes is a bit muchLove the concept, great app and would subscribe if it was more like $25 a year. Think of target audience and that’s usd I’m assuming. Your subscribers are going to want to subscribe yoy so there should be a one time purchase option or monthly subscription for 2.49 or similar. If that ever becomes available let me know would love to use this app just not for $60 every year.Version: 3.2.9
Very helpfulI love this app and find it easier to meal plan and be excited about my meals for the week. Helps me keep my recipes organized. It’s expensive but I think it’s worth it.Version: 3.12.7
A genius app!!I just love this app ! Kudos to the developers for this amazing time saving convenient absolutely wonderful app!! It is ingenious how it saves your recipes and creates the ingredient list for you! Thank you!!!.Version: 3.12.6
Processing errors a lotTo many times I can’t upload recipes. Always a processing error comes up.Version: 3.12.6
Recipe all in one place- amen!!!!This is the best app I have discovered. All my recipes have been in my photos/ notes or in the Instagram saved world. I’m finally able to have them all in one place and I have them categorized. No more searching and searching. As a home organizer I am going to recommend this to all of my clients. Thanks to the brilliant people who created this!!.Version: 3.12.3
Wish you could pay onceLove the app, wish there was an option to buy once to use forever..Version: 3.12.5
Doesn’t do the thingI’m convinced this app has come by a high review dishonestly. The app has not once been able to scrape a recipe. I’ve tried from multiple different websites where the formatting should be perfect for scraping, TikTok etc. I would never pay for this app as it is, but I love the concept! If they improve it I would re download it again. UPDATE: After the update I found one recipe that it couldn’t import before that it’s able to now. But the trade off is it’s become extremely slow. There’s still recipes it cannot seem to scrape despite formatting appearing ideal. But $70 a year or $10 a month is insane. I would do a one time payment of $30 max. Or maybe $25 a year. Things I love about it: the ability to easily adjust serving size and it automatically changes ingredient amounts needed. The easy ability to add ingredients to a shopping list and it categorizes them by aisle so say for produce it shows all produce items together. I love that the shopping list shows what recipes those ingredients are used in. I love that you can hit the “start” button and see instructions full screen one at a time for each step..Version: 3.12.5
Good product, but expensiveThe app is great and it helps a lot with meal prepping and grocery shopping. The nutrition facts feature is very helpful too. If the app generates the total nutrition facts for a day when recipes are added into a day for meal plan, it would be even more helpful. All in all a good app, but its too expensive. One time purchase or a few dollars per month is acceptable. I am only willing to pay more at the start for a newly developed app..Version: 3.12.2
LOVELove this App, so easy to use and really does make my life easier. Love organizing my recipes in categories that work for me!! Highly recommend.Version: 3.11.3
Uhhh yeahThe app is really good and is super helpful for when I want to save recipes from reels but it’s kind of annoying that you can only save 8 recipes at once. I understand that the developers have to make their money, but to not tell you that the amount of recipes you can import are limited is pretty irritating. But uhhhh other than that, the app is pretty good, but I’ll be sticking ti my notes app until I get my unlimited recipes 🤧.Version: 3.12.2
The Best App you’ll ever download!Seriously - no joke - this app saves me so much time unnecessarily scrolling to find the recipe I saved on insta. Don’t hesitate. It’s easy to use and a lifesaver..Version: 3.11.3
Real coolYou, should absolutely give it a try!.Version: 3.11.3
Grate ideaLove the idea of importing recipes from facebook. There is where I get my recipes, I normally screenshot them but this way saves me lots of time..Version: 3.11.3
No goodSo far six recipes downloaded from Facebook. None included the Method. Only one included the ingredients. The URLs aren’t linked. If you ate lucky you may be able to copy and paste method from Facebook. Very, very frustrating app and certainly not worth over $60 per yer..Version: 3.11.3
So easy to useCan bring in recipes from so many sources, really very impressive. Now I can go to one spot to see my recipes instead if trying to remember what app I liked a recipe in and having to sort through them all..Version: 3.11.2
Love!I love this app! Only issue I have is it won’t save my notes. When I reopen the app, they’re gone..Version: 3.11.2
