Lots of fun !I really enjoy using this app, it’s a lot of fun, and it allows me to engage with my followers across my social media platforms in a way that is honest and engaging. A note to the developers, though, however, it would be nice to know when receiving, an incoming question, which platform that question is specifically coming from. I have taken notice that I will answer questions on my Instagram account; however, the question originally came from my Twitter / X - and is often made known through a direct message, saying hey, I uploaded my question on this platform, but you did not answer it. so please figure out a way to allow for those who will be answering questions to know where to post the answers specifically to the audience that ask the original question. This app is so goodNGL or Not gonna lie is such a great app. You can use it on snapchat or instagram i usually post it on my instagram story. People can ask you questions and say stuff and you anwser there question! For example someone can say “who do you like” and you reply if you want and post it on your story so people can see! 4/5: Great app but nothing outstandingI like this app because it does its job without unnecessary bells or whistles. However, it seems you can only have one account connected, which is perfectly fine for the average user, but I use multiple accounts and it would be neat if I could rotate between them. Many of the people leaving negative reviews are complaining about the $10 "hint" feature. I agree; it's scammy and misleading, even as a joke. I think the feature should be removed entirely because it goes against the app's whole gimmick, which is its anonymity, and it feels like an invasion of privacy to break that anonymity. It's fine... mostlyIt's a fine app, but definitely is not at all robust. You can only have one account linked, which is alright for casual users, but like someone else pointed out, it's very annoying for those of us who have several Instagram accounts and would like to use this for them. There's also no way to log in and get your old responses if you delete or offload the app. I had to offload the app for a while, and when I re-downloaded it and tried to log in with my same account, all previous responses I had gotten were gone. It’s okay.. i guessThis app is fun to use for different platforms, but there are some difficulties. This app told me different thoughts that people had of me, but turns out it lied to me. I realized that some messages were not from people that followed me, it was from the app itself. Fun app but won’t let me update?I was trying to post a reply to a message I got but the app keeps telling me to update and there’s no button to tell it to update later- and so when I have to click “update now” there’s nothing on the App Store (since it took me here by clicking that) to help me update it?? Its alrightHonestly this app is really funny when you wanna goof around and get secret msgs but at the same time once youve put the wrong age number it completely restricts you and you cant do much about it. It kinda does it’s purpose.The app does what it’s suppose to do which is good BUT when using it and if you come across a message you really wanna see who sent it you, you have to pay to see which I didn’t mind since it was cheap BUT it doesn’t ACTUALLY show you who sent it. All it literally does is show you what kind of phone it was sent from. For example, “this message was sent from a iphone 11”. Age limitThe age limit on this app is honestly ridiculous. I remember being able to use it in the past and having a great time, but now it's way too easy to get locked out just by accidentally selecting the wrong birthdate. If you make one small mistake when entering your age, the app immediately restricts your access and there’s no clear way to fix it or verify your actual age. It’s really frustrating, especially for users who just want to enjoy the app like they used to. Fun concept, but…If you’re using this app, you should be aware that it automatically generates pre-made questions if your posted link doesn’t receive much engagement. These questions are labeled “sent with love from NGL team”. I guess this is to make it so users still can engage with the app and have fun answering questions even when none of their followers are engaging, BUT some of the questions aren’t always “fun” and seem designed to elicit certain responses and/or cause dissension. I know it all depends on how the receiver, well, receives the message, but it’s still strange to me. I’ll list some of the weirder questions I received. 1. “name all of your exes” - just plain weird, and sort of invasive. 2. “not going to judge but… why” - weird, seems sort of rude, and vague enough that the reader can make it mean whatever they think it means and even assume it’s from a certain person. 4. “yo stop leaving me on read” - this is the question that made me start researching this app more and if questions are automatically generated, because none of the friends I speak to on a normal basis would speak to me like that. Also sort of rude and also could be taken certain ways by the reader and lead them to assume it’s from a certain person. Which could in turn lead to dissension. Like I said, the possibility of dissension really does just depend on how the person receiving the message interprets it, and subsequently how their followers interpret their answers. I just thought it was strange overall, and this is all something to bear in mind, especially if you’re a parent and your kids are using this app. I did three stars for the simple fact that it is a fun concept, and in theory, having automatically generated questions for those with low engagement IS actually a good idea(!), it would just be better if all of the questions were just fun and interesting and well, actual questions. App asking for age confirmation but not loadingThere’s a couple things that are really annoying about this app. The latest is that it’s now asking for age confirmation, but none of the buttons are loading so that you can actually confirm anything second it’s constantly telling me I have new messages and then when I login there’s nothing there I think it’s just a ploy to get us to click onto onto the app if we haven’t in a while. and lastly, I specifically changed my settings to not get NGL team messages, but still do..St13135Version: 6.1.110

Nothing specialTo be honest it’s alright nothing special, my cousin had told me about this and I tried it out it’s just entertaining. I believe some of these messages aren’t really even being sent from people on your social media. Good but could be betterThis is a cool app for what it is intended for. I honestly would of given it 5 stars if I could add multiple accounts like IG has. I think if you guys do an update and make it where you can have up to at least 3 accounts that would be great! I don’t like odd numbers but 3 feels right. Good but needs fixingThe app within itself is good. It does what it’s supposed to; providing a way to fill time and get a good laughs out of the responses you get from followers. It’s okayIt’s an okay app. It does what it says it does. You ask questions and get anonymous answers. What I don’t like is it is $7 per week to “see” who messaged you. "From Team NGL"For the most part- the app does what you'd expect it to- it has good features for an anonymous question app with additional features locked behind a paywall instead of the core functionality locked behind said paywall. That being said, the "From Team NGL"questions" are incredibly misleading. Firstly- the app never asked you if you want to do those- it just automatically throws them at you from the start- and secondly they don't read like starter questions, they read like a real person is asking you questions/saying something to you- which is very misleading. One said to me "someone's still not over u lol" which not only isn't a question- but implies that this is an ex messaging me- WHEN IT'S JUST THE APP??? there needs to be some sort of disclaimer letting you know that they do that or an opt in button at the beginning instead of just quietly having it on..EnderGem957Version: 6.2.87

Over protectiveI’m well aware that this app is very strict on the fact that it is for people over the age of 17 which I understand. Now with this in mind, I recently had my Instagram account hacked and used NGL frequently for goofs and laughs. When I logged out of my old instas account handle to enter a new one, I accidentally put March 2007 (I am 18 and was born March of 2006) and without really paying attention I clicked ok and was restricted from using the app at all. Tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing worked. It’s good that little children that decide to put in their actual age is prohibited from using it at all. However, it would be nice for when cases like mine happen there would be some way to bypass this type of thing. Fake messages that are messed upI NEVER EVER have written a review. For any app. EVER. And I feel compelled to write this. Yes, the app does work well for anonymous messages and can be pretty fun. Except for well, this: “my friend has had a crush on you for the longest time” As someone who hasn’t had anyone who’s had a crush on them, I failed to notice the “sent with ❤️ from the NGL team” at the bottom and proceeded to go on a witch-hunt to find who sent this. After everyone swore up and down that they did not, my friend found articles and reviews talking about the fake “anonymous” messages. I do agree that this helps with interface and people responding so IF this has to be done (which I don’t think it should but whatever) please put harmless messages like “how’s your day” or “what’s your favorite color”. There’s a lot of interesting things that might be entertaining for friends/followers that are not directly stating that someone has a crush on you. Please proceed with caution and make sure to read which messages are real and not. Apparently, the messages weren’t always there and they got in trouble for that. Worst App to dateIn all honesty, I tried downloading this app to see if anyone had any hidden intentions for me, or if I can connect with some friends and anonymously, and for the first few days I thought it was going well cause I was getting responses but then I saw a review on here that said NGL send messages with love, I ran through most of my messages and about 95% of them were from NGL. Pointless and Waste of $10The app was working fine for me. The problem came when I saw that I could see who sent the texts. Paid features do not work, and there is no customer service personI am giving it one star because I made a purchase for 6.99 so that I’m able to access additional features on the app and after the purchase was made, the features were not available for my usage. You just told me to delete the app and there’s nothing you can do about someone saying they have been watching me and know where I live and I’ll find out “soon” who they are. Extremely unethicalThe app sends messages impersonating your friends. These messages are marked with a warning “sent with ❤️ from team NGL”, but that warning is easily missed and can be easily misinterpreted. The warning was also only added after they received pushback for being deceitful. Before that change, they would still charge you to get hints on who sent the messages, even though they were fake. Some of these fake messages make for good prompts, like “who do you miss” or such. But others are clearly pretending be to a real person. I’ve received fake messages telling me they miss me, wanting to hang out, asking me on a date, etc. I received a fake message complaining about being left on open, and even had one that said “my parents always talk about you in a good way”. I understand giving out prompts to encourage people to open the app, and thus create a new link, but those prompts should be innocuous questions. Ask “what’s your favorite color?”, “Who’s the best artist?”, “dogs or cats?” Not “im gonna ask you out”. The person who developed this app is a scam artist..Bigcat😼Version: 4.1.51

Questions you get aren’t real!!I have been using this app for the better part of a month thinking that all the questions that i was getting were genuine. Beware of fake messages!I gave it two stars because the messages I got that were real were fun, but I found out after the fact that if it says “sent with ❤️ from the NGL team” it’s a bot-generated message and they intentionally do not make this clear at all. It can be fun to use otherwise if you’re aware of that I guess, but it was disappointing to find out that some messages aren’t real. Not real. Can’t log out.So I downloaded this app after seeing a lot of people using it on IG. I started to suspect they were bot generated questions and my suspicion turned into reality when I removed the link from my IG and I kept getting “anonymous messages.” It’s not an app that you can search for me and send messages, so where are they coming from? Not just that, but I tried disconnecting my Instagram from the app before deleting it and it doesn’t even give me the option to do so. Misleading and false advertising! Terrible App.If I could rate this app ZERO STARS I would. First of all, the app’s responses don’t seem real. They seem made up to make it seem as if people are responding. The app has limited features or prompts which continuously push you to try to purchase the Pro or Plus version. Somewhat weird appWhen I first got this app I thought it would be like a really cool app where my friends can ask me questions and stuff. Misleading and upsetting auto messagesI enjoyed using this app as a silly little fun activity to engage with people on my Snapchat. Apparently the app sends messages if you don't expressly tell them not to. The worst one I received was "my bf likes you won't stop talking about you."
