Beautiful game, go buy it! This is a Wonderful port of a modern classic! They fixed all the old bugs and added the missing features, that were missing during launch. This is the gold standard of brawler fighting game genre. ————————————— OLD REVIEW (3 stars) Removed 2 ⭐️ stars because: 1) There is no online multiplayer -> this is very bad in my eyes, this is a community game 2) Does not support cross-play multiplayer so we can play with other platforms (xbox, switch, pc, sony.. etc) Diablo Immortal on iOS has cross-play with pc. I AM AWARE… multiplayer will be released later at some time. When released, I will test it out and if works just as wonderful as the other platforms (switch, xbox, pc, playstation) I will HAPPILY 😀 edit my rating and add those two ⭐️ ⭐️ ——- ——- ——- REMOVED 1 ⭐️ because MAJOR BUG: During Axel & Blaze trials, the game severely lags for no reason! I have graphical settings on mid (which my device can handle ultra) I have iPad Pro (4th Gen - 2020 model) I tried the following troubleshooting techniques, none of it helps: • closed out the app and relaunched it • reboot iPad • apps closed on the background • my iPad running latest iOS: 15.5 • Not that this matters, but I have 180 gigs of free hdd space • I play on xbox one controller (works excellent with all my games) In the meantime, I cannot practice my combos, which is very sad. I love practicing my combos, then playing story mode with my new found combo skills, that I earned in practice.

I can’t stop supporting this game. It’s amazing. Best game I’ve played from that year. I play it with my wife and daughter. I have it on Switch. I have it on PS4. I’ve not picked up this BEAUTIFUL port on iOS. With a Backbone controller, this game is perfect. I don’t know how to continue to send the team the message that the fans want more of this, but I’m not subtle. This game is incredible enough for me to buy THRICE. So absolutely, YOU should buy it at least once. Excellent game.

Core game itself is amazing and fun. The only problems this port has are some gameplay bugs that aren’t present in console versions - for example Survival mode with SoR4 Shiva: a lot of bonuses don’t work for him since he can’t pickup weapons, and in the console versions those bonuses become a random perk instead, but instead those bonuses stay the same and don’t do anything for him. Another example is the double jump bonus. In the console ports you can jump, attack, and jump-cancel to do the double jump and attack again. Not so with this mobile port. Also, because the UI itself takes up a lot of space to accommodate on-screen touch controls, it becomes very hard to see enemies in certain areas. If there was a way to adjust opacity and support keyboard controls, that would be FANTASTIC. Apart from porting bugs, this game is AMAZING, and congrats to the team for porting it over to mobile devices.

They achieved the impossible - creating a sequel that preserved the spirit of the original while delivering a fresh, logical, and captivating story. The characters are well-developed, the plot keeps you engaged from start to finish, and the atmosphere brought me back to my childhood when I first played this game on the Sega. Huge thanks to the developers for reviving those emotions and making the game even better than before.

I’m a huge fan of the console release. It’s a faithful port. The on-screen buttons work better than I’d anticipated. That said, I recommend playing with a controller. The screen can get very full in later stages and higher difficulty settings. The game will crash if you reply to a text. Locking your phone while in-app, you’re fine. Leave the app, it’s very likely to crash. Very annoying.

I am so happy that SOR4 is on iOS. These type of games are so well suited for handheld gaming. Haven’t had any game play issues. Although worthy of 5 stars now, there are still music syncing issues, music inconsistencies and transitions between rooms and inner stage levels are choppy. All minor is at the moment. I hope this game receives regular updates for awhile to continue to improve the user and gaming experience.

Just, I don’t even know where to start… This game has taken my absolute BREATH away. Between the character design, the gameplay, the attention to detail (backgrounds, easter eggs, etc.) and not to mention the MUSIC???? Absolutely. Freaking. InSANE. I love this game with all my heart. No other game could ever top this and I’ve played over 40+ action games. Props to my dad for introducing me to the franchise, because this has become a giNORMOUS puzzle piece in my life now. I’ve bought this game across every platform I own (iPad, Xbox, Phone, PS5, Desktop), DLC included. I CANNOT stress to you how much I wanna support this game. This franchise. I wanna shake hands with the developers because this right here?? Truly… TRULY, a work of art. ❤️‍🔥

After the recent update with online play, I noticed that the graphic to choose unlocked moves is gone. You can still choose and select them if you move the joy stick around on a controller but the graphic is gone so if you don’t have a controller there is no way to see or select unlocked moves. Game is awesome though

I have the PC version which is modeled off of the consoles. One function mechanic that I wish would work is when you choose the air master perk in survival. In this version It does not allow you to jump after your combos or moves rendering the perk absolutely useless. That’s the biggest bug that I’ve noticed so far

Character designs look cool. Also it’s not impossible to play like the first 3 games. Plays easier with a controller though, so I still recommend the console version more. However playing this on your phone and on the go is still enjoyable. Thanks for bringing Adam back! The original 3 characters are the best.

Love this game. Been playing nonstop since I bought it. Even without a controller it’s incredible. There is a glitch with latest update. Alt moves are no longer available. I see someone else said you can select with s controller. I assume you’re aware and will fix.

How exciting! This game fills me with joy and enthusiasm. The sounds are a delight when I use my headphones, and I would love for them to add more characters or expand the story and campaign levels. I just want more and more of this wonderful experience that makes me so happy!

Perfect all around all aspects accept touchscreen does make it hard to do certain moves . Lucky though it works very well with a Xbox control or attachments . The Xbox series x controller feels great much like a Super Nintendo feel and very responsive .

So happy to be playing this on my phone. Did NOT expect it to come to mobile but very thankful that it did because I love Streets of Rage. Looks great and play great as well! Looking forward to the update and when battle mode is available will there be a option to battle AI??

After the multiplayer patch came out the game became a little buggy and won’t let me choose their alternate special attacks. I had all of them unlocked for the achievement. I can rate it 5 stars once it gets updated because I love streets of rage. You guys should see if you can make Streets of Rage 5, and just make sure you add Adult Skate, Roo, and Ash.

It’s just like playing the actual game, except on your phone. The price wasn’t too bad, but other than that… this is one heck of a game! Whoever had the idea of putting this game on a phone that was literally genius!

Wish you could move the button inputs independently (ideally also have an option to remove back attack button). Once you start playing at a certain level input errors become insanely frustrating. Otherwise amazing game.

This game is great but the forthcoming TMNT is incredible! Do as all a favor and port this and TMNT over to the Mac as well! Please! I really want to see these great games across all of Apple’s devices! Also, keep up the amazing work! I’ll buy anything you make at this point!

I love this game is so much fun deserves more than 5 stars it exactly what I want from it but the only it I wish was it to be able to run not just walk so I can run and punch enemy a satisfied hit but so far I love everything else in the game👌👌👏🏻🔥

I’ve been playing Streetsofrage since I was a kid and beat part 1,2,&3 This is hands down the Best Game I’ve ever played in my life! It’s the only beat ‘em up game u can do a 1017 hit combo ! & and keep going if u got the skills Thank u 🙏 All 4 creating this masterpiece

Streets of rage is one of my beat them up fighting series. This new iteration of the series gives us a new level of quality and story and building on the past. This version pays homage to 1, 2 and 3.

Throughly enjoyed this game until it stopped working after the last update. Not sure why. I deleted and reinstalled, and it still will not work. It’s been several weeks and it still doesn’t work.

Honestly this game is fantastic.. but it needs a online co-op multiplayer, I played the console version and oh my god could not stop playing it. I hope the multiplayer function comes out soon I know it might take time but hopefully not to much time.

DotEmu really knocked it out of the park with this one. Everything from the art style, to the gameplay and even the soundtrack are excellent. Hopefully we can get them to make streets of rage 5 or more content for 4.

Perfect port with tons of replayability. Everything I was hoping for from it. Only issue I’m having is unlocking Roo- I play with touch controls so can’t execute the hot keys in the menu- any help would be appreciated!

Man I love this game , it plays just as good on the phone as it does on the Sega and as it does on the other later consuls, I could play this for days on end no complaints from me 🙏🏾🔥🔥

Perfect game with the controller, never used the screen controls really. Would love the game more if I could have co op when I add another controller. Just feels weird that I have to grind more on the PC copy I have if I want a friend to fully enjoy all the unlockables.

Grew up playing these classics and this new one is perfect! Fells like the old one but much newer and fresher without losing that charm that made the older ones insanely fun!! 10/10

If you’re having problems launching the game make sure you’re iOS version is most recent or else it won’t load. This needs to be emphasized by the developers.

About a month ago the game was working fine. Now when I open the app it just freezes on the title screen before you get to the menu screen.

I love the modern art and music attached to the classic game. The modern characters have more moves than I can really process, but they are great. I do really wish Roo were a playable character, I loved him most.

So I bought the dlc and had to delete the game due to storage issues but when i redownload it I had to buy the dlc again to access it???? Other wise this is an amazing game

This game is such a huge step up from other beat em up games on mobile and I really enjoy it, I hope that once I beat it, I could get the Mr. x nightmare DLC!

This game is straight crack!! The playability of every character and the updated attacks that each character has is amazing. This is the best purchase ever made

This is EASILY one of… if not the best action game in the App Store. The amount of content is crazy. Moves and special moves upgrade as you complete certain modes. And there are so many characters.

No complaints about the game, it’s great. Support for this game is borderline awful. Anytime an update rolls out, game won’t even start up. How does that happen? Are these updates even tested?

Loads up to 100% and blue screens me. Can’t get further than the load screen. After uninstalling, restarting device , and reinstalling game it launched.

The best beat them up game ever made perfectly ported to iOS. We need more awesome premium games like this. Love it!

This port is amazing, but like so many high quality ports why is there no Apple TV version?

I played streets of rage 2 and 3 in the 90s and was in love with the game. Thrilled to see part 4 back tributes all the older versions. Ability to upgrade character moves and unlock characters and weapons as you play keeps you hooked.

Used to love this series on the Sega Genesis. This brings me way back!

Playing this game since first day of release on pc, replay-ability of this game is insane, spent countless hours in coop and single. As close to ideal fight mechanics as possible. And devs are still making updates after couple of years

I recommend this game 100%! The graphics and the game itself runs very smoothly and is a great game if you like levels. The price for the game is perfect and worth it!

Great, but it would be better if you could plug in multiple wireless Bluetooth controllers on one device or play with another buddy with an iOS device (iPhone/iPad) locally other than just online only. Other than that, almost perfect! 9/10

I have platinum the game on PS4 & Xbox Series X. I have played over 1000 hours & become just done with the game. It’s too cheap in version 8 & survival is very limited right now with how once you even get to level 35 then it’s just gold weapons & stars, no more perks. I dislike what they did to Skate 3’s ground roll, the nerfed the heck out of it. They need to make blood thirst pop up in more runs because sometimes it just does not pop up, actually most runs now in V8. Also, Axel needs more protection & increased damage & needs to be sped up he’s too slow even still, enemies are too cheap. They need to not design the game in a way that forces you to play with a second player just to have a good run in survival. Sometimes you just wanna play by yourself. The cheapness of the enemies is what is holding this game back from being the most talked about game and not just with the community of players who we all played the original 3 games. This is the final update so I guess they will not be addressing any other issues. Sad state the game is left in.

Great mobile game with style and action surpassing SOR 2. Soundtrack is awesome! A gripe I have with this iteration is the game not picking up my character at the end of some areas when “go” point is reached (first lvl subway cart and Y island staircase are examples) I end up rage quitting and after cooling down I try it again sometimes successful sometimes not. Compared to SOR 2, the touch controls seem more difficult. Any game sequel adds more controls so with this game I found it difficult in training to complete the tasks. I ended up “button mashing” out of frustration. Learning curb aside, this is still a great game.

First the positive stuff. So I have SoR4 on Switch and this game looks better on my iPhone 14, the graphics are amazing when you crank up all the video options so kudos for that. My main gripes come from this game not having haptic feedback for touchscreen controls this would be a huge upgrade for as I don’t feel touch controls are as responsive as using a controller but haptics would definitely help that. Also needs a way to save your progress during a stage like save states as gaming on mobile is easily interrupted and then you have to start the whole level again…. And maybe a feature of holding down the attack button lets you do the combo without having to tap the same button over and over again. If these features get added then it’s 5 stars for me.

The game is good. The graphics have been updated, the combos are smooth and it works great with the Razor Kishi controller. The fact that the game just released and it already has purchasable DLC is an issue in my opinion. It’s obvious this content was originally made with the game because of the unattainable characters in the selection screen. This is a practice that must stop in my opinion with modern game designers. Sell incomplete products is not only not fair but it makes your customers feel cheated. Bad form in my opinion.

In less than an hour of play time I’ve already requested a refund. The game doesn’t feel fun. I played on normal and the difficulty spikes too much. Especially in a room full enemies with weapons. Cheap tricks like getting hit from enemies that’s not in in you line of sight. You get hit from so many directions at once. It seems the developers tried to make it a strategy game when you just want beat ‘em up game. I’ll pass.

I didn’t mean what I said because I was just mad the problem I have with the game is I don’t like when the bosses jump you also I don’t like the enemies camping the heals also can you make dr zan playable and can you make easy modes on everything sorry if that’s too much too ask

Loved the series as a kid in the 90s so I was excited for 4’s release. Mobile has been great, but there have been issues with loading. Currently, the game goes to a blank screen and will not continue further

I’m using a new iPad Pro and after many tries at deleting and reloading this game it has yet to load. Not even once. Waste of money!
