Numo: Cringe-Free ADHD App Positive Reviews

This app is great but I have an issueMy issue is as follows- the replies within the community are completely invisible. You can see that someone replied, but there’s no text. This goes for posting your own replies too. It’s sad because I want to give my two cents and also be able to see someone else’s two cents, but I don’t know if they can even read it. But despite all of that - This app is amazing. I almost lost hope trying to find an app that helped me with my ADHD- until I found this app! I’ve been on a roll. It rewards you with little un-lockable icons and themes and makes a sound when you tick things off of the checklist (which is really nice to me- it just adds that extra oomph once you’ve finally completed a task.) The rewards aren’t anything crazy, but that’s just what I need! A stress-free, laid-back app that rewards you when you interact with the community and complete your tasks for the day! The community aspect is nice because you’re not expected to interact- but when you do you earn levels, help a fellow ADHDer and learn. So far I’m loving it and would recommend you to give it a try..Version: 5.1

Good but needs improvementsThere are many things that this app does well, but there are two main issues that would prevent me from subscribing. first, this app does not seem to be written well in english. i am not sure if it’s translated to english, but either way it needs to be written better. it’s written well enough that i know what it’s saying, but it takes a lot of mental energy to understand. secondly, $15-$16 a month is waaaaaaaay too expensive for this app. especially considering this app is for people with ADHD, it should be priced at $1-$3/month. with those improvements, i would definitely subscribe and continue using this app. and before i get a reply from one of the app developers saying “oh but a subscription to this app is ____ less than an ADHD coach on average,” why do you think so many of us don’t seek out ADHD coaches? when you price the app so highly it makes me feel as though the app is trying to profit from my disability rather than help. if these changes are made i will happily edit my review to 5 stars, because otherwise i think the app has some very useful features. also, just wanted to add that it’s very obvious that lots of the reviews are fake, which feels dishonest especially when creating an app to help individuals with ADHD..Version: 1.1.13

Love this appI have only had it for three days but I think I'm going to subscribe! I love that there is an ADHD community as well as my own little squad Tobe accountable with! It has little short lessons on ADHD and tips to help manage it! One of my absolute favorite things is how colorful it is. Numo also gamifys the app a bit so it keeps you wanting to move ahead. And lastly they have an area to make your to do list. If it gets overwhelming or you aren't sure what to tackle first (I do this a lot). There is a little AI that will prioritize the list for you! I so love this app and in the three days I've had it it has been so exciting and enjoyable to use and I am becoming more productive each day! It is a real game changer for my ADHD! I highly recommend this app if you struggle with ADHD!.Version: 3.10

So Far, So GoodOnly day two, but I'm enjoying it so far. I already feel comfortable expressing myself and my emotions and thoughts. I know I won't be judged because this app is full of people going through pretty much the same thing and they understand. It's nice. I also love the AI features on the task lists. Super helpful. Very smart to add something like that to an ADHD app 😹 Oh yeah and they know how to tickle that little reward need we thrive on as neurodivergents. Little things like custom app icons and different theme colors and all that really does help people like us for some reason. I guess any way to get that dopamine fix haha. We are essentially Pavlov's dog; do the thing, get a treat! My only complaint so far is that there should be a notification tab or bell, sorta like Facebook and Instagram. Stuff will pop up in my push notifications but then I never find them again once I'm in the app 😅 It also seems like kudos I was receiving wasn't registering on my profile, but maybe it's delayed. I would also suggest maybe tabbed feeds. Like a Squad feed and then a main feed where you can see stuff outside of your squad, more so than the Hot section. I feel like some posts maybe go unnoticed there, but I'm not totally sure. The app is relatively new, so this is merely constructive criticism, as I know the devs are probably actively working on things so I am more than happy to wait things out. Can't wait to see what other features are added in the future!.Version: 4.12

Tried so many apps - this one is by far the bestI have ADHD and struggle constantly with task management. I’ve tried lots of methods and apps, and nothing has really worked for me so far. A lot of the apps, even if they were fun at first, got to be a task in and of themselves, and the rewards for using the app were low. Most of them are basically glorified to-do lists. This app is stimulating to look at, uses game-like wording and structure, has lots of mini-courses to help manage different parts of your life (with audio, text, and images that play through automatically - I didn’t zone out at all, which is saying something), forces you to set rewards for yourself for certain tasks, and uses peer support, which is super helpful. While some of the information isn’t particularly new to me (I’ve read a lot about procrastination, for example), it’s phrased in this straightforward, no-nonsense way that still acknowledges the difficulty of some of these tasks, and it’s addressed specifically to ADHD problems, rather than just general organization issues. It’s incredibly refreshing. Overall, it really feels like this app was designed specifically for people with ADHD, as opposed to other apps, which feel like basic productivity helpers marketed toward ADHD-ers to take advantage of the demographic. If you have ADHD, really can’t recommend it enough..Version: 3.5.2

Pretty goodSo far it has been an acceptable tool for my ADHD. I like the checklist and there’s a community so I don’t feel as isolated and it’s happy and colorful. There’s short lessons everyday that have great tips. The problem is, lessons are in a slideshow format and move too quickly for me to comprehend. I usually get distracted and have a hard time reading, so this is incredibly frustrating. There’s no way to pause the slideshow or go back if I missed a slide- I can only start from the beginning which is super inefficient. Sometimes I need to pause something and read through it a few times for the information to sink in. This definitely impacts the value of the app for me. There’s also misspellings all over the place, which is strange. It’s a pretty expensive app, so the developers need to work these important details in order for me to subscribe..Version: 4.12

Wish I could edit pre-existing tasks/ritualsSo first things first, I love this app. I’ve only had it for a week, so take that as you may. It’s helped me remember the things I need to remember. The AI prioritization feature is awesome, as I have issues with prioritizing anything and everything 😅. The widget is very helpful, and it’s cute so I actually look at it! The streak feature in the widget is a good motivator, and it’s indicated by background color, so it’s in your face that you’ve not done anything yet (very helpful) I only have one issue, so far. I let would be helpful to be able to edit the tasks and rituals I already have it place, instead of having to delete them and make new ones.. Looking forward to seeing how this app frowns over time ❤️.Version: 5.5

I have raging ADHDThis is a well designed app and the friend accountability aspect is nice. Unless I get nothing done. Lol There are a few tweaks that would make this great. Being able to easily edit and delete tasks would help, general timer would be great too. I’ve tried every adhd app, this is the best so far. The gamification is cool. Sub tasks is a MUST!!! Good job. Almost there. As I head to the shower I’m reminded about shower buddy who would talk you through tasks in the shower to keep you on track. Something like that would be great. Lastly the prioritization should be a series of pair wise comparisons to see which is most important or pressing. Used to be an app called “which thing first” that did this very well until updates.. ok 👍.Version: 3.9.5

Too expensive, InaccessibleToo expensive… but I loved the app. For my free trial week. 1 week. Really helped w insights into different ways of thinking. But the basic version is so much more Limited I had to delete, it’s not even the same app. Im a college student and I have been struggling with assignments, due dates, procrastinating, you name it; especially the last semester. The app is good, but I can’t give it 5 stars, because it’s inaccessible to a lot of people, especially those that could benefit from it most, college students, young adults, etc. it’s just entirely too expensive. $15 a month is quite insane. But it’s a good app. The developers and the company overall should have a different mindset about ALLOWING and OPENING up their products and creation and services to more people that want access and could benefit from it. It should be more accessible. Cheaper price or discounts, or scholarship program, or more functionality and less limits on the basic version. What’s the point of this app, or any knowledge, art, insights, etc. if you can’t share it with others and don’t allow access to most people. Don’t let greed shroud what truly matters..Version: 3.10

Helps Me Gameify AdultingBoomers beware bc this review will make your head spin, but if you’re ADHD/ASD you’ll understand exactly what I mean. I cannot force myself to do tasks that aren’t enjoyable. This app has everything I’ve ever wanted and I’m only on day one; intuitive and eye catching graphics, helpful tips and strategies, a sense of community, and constant rewards for doing even the tiniest thing so my brain is motivated to keep going. My biggest issue has always been following through on tasks and I really think this app has the lasting power to help me conquer that hurdle. Will update as I use more!.Version: 3.5.2

OverwhelmingI’m just on my free trail which I did already go into iTunes and cancel so that it won’t renew after 7 days. There isn’t clear directions on how the set up will go and it made me very anxious and overwhelmed just trying to creat my account. The silly questions about my ADHD being an animal or character made me very uncomfortable and I almost quit at that point. My ADHD isn’t some joke you can make a story about it’s my life and I’m learning to deal with it everyday. From what I can see the APP is average you can tell the people who created it were attempting to gear it towards people with ADHD but just have the text book knowledge of what it’s like..Version: 3.5.2

Impressed - Favorite App NowI’ve been using this a bit over the month free trial period and for people with ADD or ADHD, PLEASE just invest in this app. It has really changed so much of my perspective on ADD and ADHD and has taught me so much on how to manage my stresses, procrastination, emotions, etc. I am really grateful for the community this app provides, as well as the helpful lessons and tools they provide. 15/10 app. Wish I had this during college, but I’m a new graduate, so I’m glad I have this app to help me figure out my life after college!.Version: 3.9.5

Cool concept, but unfairI genuinely wanted to try this app because I’m sitting here stressing about all the things I have to do tomorrow and an ad of this app fell into my lap. I was excited because it’s just what I needed. But, I didn’t know you have to do a whole subscription just to actually use the app. Why make an app for ADHD folks to help them out with tasks to make it more simple but then NOT make it free? There’s other ways to make money than a subscription, especially 15-16 dollars a month for an app like this. It’s unreasonable honestly, you had me with the ad, but you lost me really quickly..Version: 2.0.8

Love this app but there’s still some bugs….I’ve subscribed to this app for a few months now and it was working great until the most recent update, I have had the same life hack for at least a week and so it makes it less enjoyable to open and look forward to a hack when it’s the same one. Also I wish that if you did more lessons in one day it tracked that instead of assuming you only do one short video a day. Like I said they are probably bugs that need to be worked out and if they were this would easily be a 5* app..Version: 2.2.19

Free trial and already seeing resultsI’ve been looking for something like this forever!! I had no idea it would exist. Forget all my notebooks that have been forgotten lol forget putting notes in my phone in random orders that don’t make sense when I look back at them. This is all in one place with tips hacks community and can use a widget so it’s the first thing you see on your phone that will never be forgotten… 10/10.Version: 4.6

FANTASTIC APP AHEAD OF ITS GAMEThe app is new and still in development. So some things are still a little glitchy and in the works but they are regularly putting out updates and actually listening to feedback. It’s engaging and has you in regular communication with others using the app which creates a great community of accountability. I 100% recommend this app and need anyone working through their adhd to get it asap. No joke this app is amazing.Version: 3.2.3

Where’s the bionic reading?I like this app. Honestly. I like the squads, I like the tools and the to-do list. Especially the feature where you can split your task and it AI generates the basic steps that help you accomplish it. Somewhat useful prioritization features. But MANY of the users including myself downloaded because of the bionic reading ad. And I’ll just hop off another review here. Feels like you’re taking advantage of our disability especially at $15/mo. Also second that it’s not written by English speaking people. You can just tell..Version: 4.3

I love this app!I downloaded this app and was admittedly skeptical it could provide new tools and keep my attention for more than a few days. My expectations have been exceeded and I have felt much better about my productivity, as well as been kinder to myself in the process It’s a great way to get a lil dopamine bc there are levels and bright colors, but it’s much more than that— tons of helpful content. Highly recommend..Version: 3.10

Helpful, but priceyI’ve only been using this app for less than an hour, and I can already see how it would be beneficial. My concern is the cost. Realistically an app like this shouldn’t be anymore than $3-$5/month at most. Due to financial constraints I will probably not be able to continue beyond the free trial. This app has a lot of promise and I can see it getting even better with improvements and enhancements over time, I personally can’t justify the cost though. Great app, appreciate all who worked on it to make it a thing!.Version: 3.10

Gimme that Dopamine!!1 week in and I am liking that instant Dopamine boost.. The courses provided are very useful, I feel as if I’ve been learning how to combat certain negative aspects of my brain that makes me freeze in fear/frustration.. I do hope there will be more courses available after I complete the courses in my queue, I need to learn all the things!.Version: 4.13

Simple, Helpful, and RewardingI like the app because I’m not boggled down with a billion pictures, words, and sub sites. It’s easy to use. I find it helpful- especially the task list and the short videos on common things we deal with like procrastination. I like that there are different levels- that little boost of dopamine when I accomplish tasks or post is great!.Version: 4.3

I only put five so you can see my reviewThis app only works if you buy the subscription. when you reach the subscription area, the X button or cancel button does not work. i’ve deleted and re-downloaded this app and still it does not work. So unfortunately, you have to pay to be productive..Version: 5.1

Refreshing! Love this…It’s been a while since something made me think ‘wow’ when it pertains to apps, internet, etc. but this app is great! I like it very much. Unfortunately, I had to quit during my free trial because I cannot afford the yearly fee at this time. I learned so much already, in just a couple of days. Even printed out a reminder to hang up!.Version: 4.15

The communityI really enjoy the community aspect and the openness of everyone. I’ve never had a dedicated community of people with my specific to gain and give support from and to. It is so helpful to read others’ comments and realize that there are many out there with my experience and it’s related issues..Version: 4.4

Really cool but way too expensive.I was really frustrated when I downloaded the app because I just wanted the bionic/assisted reading function but had to get involved with the entire community on the app. Turns out that community idea is really cool and there’s much more value here than just the reading assistance. The problem became the $15/month price. I’m a law student and I just can’t afford that. This is a really good app though..Version: 4.7

So helpful!!I just got diagnosed and this has helped me with so many things. From getting into habits, to giving me advice, this gave me it all. My whole family has used this and it’s helped a lot. The people who use this are very friendly and kind. The memes, advice, and polls always lighten my day..Version: 5.14

Trail reviewSo far this app is very helpful with reminders and the colors to grab my attention. You have the option to slow down, speed up, or turn off the sound completely when going through helpful practices. Bringing to light things I didn’t know I needed..Version: 4.1

New user and enjoying it so farWow! I give up on apps when they start having me build a routine but there is something about Numo that is very engaging. I already created most of a morning and night routine. Could this app actually help me manage my ADHD and feel more organized and balanced? Fingers crossed!!.Version: 4.2

CuteThis is a cute little app that allows you to gain brownie points for completing tasks, asking questions, making comments, and other little things like that. I’ve had it for a few days now, we’ll see if it sticks. At first I was like “this is dumb” when I first got it, but now it’s kinda cute so why not give it a shot?.Version: 4.2

It has all the basics + more! This app helped my neurodivergent self get back on track with routine, checking off my list of things to do (and you can break down into sub categories), and have an overall fun experience. It’s easy to use and I enjoyed connecting with like minded people..Version: 5.1

Super helpfulI have found this app to be super helpful. The features really hit what I need to help me get tasks accomplished during the day, especially the aspect of gamifying my tasks has made a tremendous difference. It also reminds me when I need to take my meds, etc..Version: 4.2

Helping me tremendouslyI love the lessons and life hacks . I always thought I was just a weirdo that could never finish things and that always procrastinated. It is awesome to know I’m not alone in this and that this app offers ways to be a better version of me. Thank you so developer!.Version: 3.0.8

Wow.This is useful. It’s a great example of what we can use technology for good, ten minutes on this app helped me feel less overwhelmed about my day to day life and beginning to create new habits based on understanding the means by which my brain works.Version: 3.3.6

Good idea and decent resources on the app alsoLike the idea and kinda wish there is a way to keep old group member in a bigger circle if you refresh the support group but the difference is that it is NOT Twitter so idk it’s probably okay as is (do want actual narration and to change the character drawings that were recently added all over, intro also is kinda messy so making bubbles smaller and changing the character drawings recently added and also the backgrounds on the learning stories are cringe- just have solid colour not stripe-circle etc. behind the words, simplify a bit and different character drawings. I like the circles and knowing other people in my group can see it, I don’t like the new icons or profiles and wish could just set own photo or emoji and then the badges icons were on the profile. Also disliked the narrative voice on the procrastination ‘learning story’ please narrate it yourselves. Also didn’t like how fast the emotions sheet popped up (user experience advice) and overall lots of too-bright colours sometimes, but the app is decent..Version: 3.3.6

Can’t useI can’t even use it because it says that my email is used already but when I try to login it says no account found.Version: 5.16

ConsistentI enjoy it so much. Rewards for opening it every day. Love the Nero divergent writing. Helped me stop procrastinating!! Love the brain dump. Helped me drink more water and remember to feed myself 🤣.Version: 5.1

Really the best for ADHDI have Adhd and to-do list apps always helped me a lot so, when I decided to try this one, I just figured it would be good but much like the many others i tried before. But to my surprise, this one really exceeded my expectations. It is completely designed towards the ADHD mind and has many special features that help to manage it. 10/10 would recommend!.Version: 4.15

WowSo ADHD friendly and it is way to stay on top of.Version: 3.10

The app helpsBut the interaction of the learn session is bad..Version: 2.1.3

Helpful appNice simple reminders. Wish it was free with in app purchases.Version: 2.1.3
