Noises is an experimental instrument with a playful and inspiring interface, designed to bring a vast world of noise into your music and audio production. Available as AUv3 and Standalone.

Noises is the fourth plugin we developed together with German composer and “that guy with the sweaters” Hainbach. He crafted hundreds of recordings of rare vintage measurement and tape equipment, analog synths, strange field recordings, electro-acoustic and magnetic field experiments, and more in his lab to create this creative noise instrument with us. It is designed to be fast and inspiring to use, with a big dial at its center inviting you to search for sounds and a sequencer to make them music. This results in a minimum of clicks for a maximum of sound.

Altruit Says “Ohhh-Yeaaahhhh”!!!Our little unit has enjoyed immensely creating handmade sample sets for use with the desktop version of Noises for the past year. The ability to take the power of its ambient heart with us to performance halls and share our appreciation for the textural tapestries possible - without needing a super expensive computer to worry about - is kind and very generous. One feature request.I own Noises on desktop, but after playing with it on iPad, I'm enjoying playing it like an instrument more. One (or maybe two) feature requests: 1. Randomize the individual pitches of the sample slots. 2. Allow the Trip to also randomly toggle the sample slots on and off. Add bits and downsample to Trip as well..MikenofaceVersion: 1.2

Great But...Noises is all that it is billed to be. My only complaint is that the manual does not match the actual product. Importing audio seems impossible since the procedure described in the manual relies on menu commands that do not exist. This is probably due to changes/updates to the app. I do wish that developers would spend more time and effort on the documentation of their apps. This is particularly important for apps that are unique to the degree that they do not follow normal procedures for thing like importing files or using totally unique modules..BozoTooVersion: 1.2
