Pregnancy Baby Tracker - WTE App Comments & Reviews
Pregnancy Baby Tracker - WTE Positive Reviews
Great AppMy wife and I are expecting our first, and I love the super accurate tracking and educational videos. I’ve never been involved in a pregnancy, so a lot of development and signs to watch for are completely new to me. The app and tips do an amazing job warning new parents about scary, but totally normal symptoms. I would immediately recommend this app to any expecting people. I do have a few comments on things I wish were a little different. The videos, tips, and language all seem based on a natural pregnancy. There’s an option when logging a pregnancy to choose a 3 or 5 day IVF pregnancy, which ours is. The tracking is completely accurate based on the dates you input with that process, but the following tips and videos are all phrased as if it was a natural pregnancy. For example, I recall being told to get excited for and to schedule our “first scan and look at the little one” despite having been seeing it for a month and a half at that point. Things are also very skewed towards the mother, which I admit is justified; she is the one carrying and growing the baby. I wish there was an option to select “I am the father”, “I am a non-carrying partner” or “This is for our surrogate” and it would trigger either different tips or just change phrasing to “your partner is experiencing xyz, you can do abc to help!”. Personally, I cannot do the kegel exercises I had a tip for yesterday, but I could make sure to buy foods containing minerals, or start practicing diapers and car seat insertions..Version: 16.11
New parents check this app out!I don’t usually write reviews but I felt like during the time of finding out you or your partner is pregnant there’s a lot of searching for the right apps, people, or products you should use and so I wanted to make it a little easier for expecting parents to see someone who cares about what they are going through and hopefully you won’t have to continue app searching after my review. I am expecting a baby girl and I am 5 months along. I have used this app since the beginning of my pregnancy and since then have tried a few other apps just making sure i’m using the one I enjoy the most. What to Expect has lots of awesome features hence why I love it. It has an option to show you how much your belly will grow along with your baby size week by week. If i have any upcoming events happening I love to see what to expect when the date comes along! I also really enjoy the fact there are multiple short videos every week for you to watch about what your baby will be developing in the womb week by week. Something else I really like about this app is it has a community area where you can join groups that fit you and you can ask whatever questions you would like or you can read over already asked questions or give advice of your own. It’s a great place for you to feel better when weird side effects come along. Definitely try out this app!.Version: 17.8.1
BEST PREGNANCY TRACKING APP EVER!I LOVE this app because its really helpful in everything pregnancy. It’s especially a great app for new moms, it keeps you well informed through every step of your pregnancy and gives you detailed explanations on the process of pregnancy and all the changes that are occurring to your body week by week. They predict your due date and weekly show you the size of the baby, the symptoms you may feel, when the fetus develops a heart beat, and all the physical changes that your baby is going through. You get to see very descriptive videos of what’s physically happening inside of you. This app is genius and very insightful from exercise tips to healthy dieting and even give you the best suggestions for prenatal vitamins. They guide you through your pregnancy and help you start up your registry, while sending you a free box of pregnancy goodies. They answer questions you may have about pregnancy without you even having to ask. Overall, the app is very comforting, they make you see how beautiful pregnancy is and calm your worries and anxiety. If you happen to have a miscarriage, this app has a mode for that too. It’s called the healing mode, they explain why things like miscarriages happen and give you comforting readings and resources that you can access to help you throughout your healing process. This app is like having a OB-GYN, therapist and a supportive friend all in one. Trust that with this app you will not feel alone, lost or misinformed throughout your pregnancy. I 10/10 recommend!.Version: 13.1
Best Pregnancy AppThis is my first pregnancy, but I’ve tried almost every other app and most of them are just weird, don’t track properly or you have to pay, this app is completely free and there’s a huge community of people and several different groups customized to age, gender of baby, gestational age, anxiety, even moms who have already had their kids that still talk and need advice from each other. The baby tracking is great and you can chose what little fruit or prop represents your baby for the week. There’s so many tools that help you track so many things and even has little articles about almost everything. This app helps you learn so much if you want to as well, and like I said it’s all free, there’s even weekly videos you can watch on how your baby is developing, and how it tracks the development is insanely accurate, and because there’s such a big community there’s people that are going through what your going through and so much more, and if you end up making a post, you’re definitely guaranteed to always get a response from atleast a few people. I love this app so much and and thinking about even keeping it after my pregnancy to join groups with moms after pregnancy. If you’re looking for a baby app this one really is the way to go!.Version: 15.13
Fun to play withI’m enjoying this app… not an overwhelming amount of information which to me is wonderful… and it’s all engaging and interesting. This is my second child and there is stuff I’ve learned from this that I’d for sure forgotten and am thankful to be reminded… and some stuff I didn’t even know through my first! My biggest annoyance with this app is that I’m sick of seeing the SAME Aquaphor ad over and over. I don’t mind ads at all… but you’ve got to have more than one lol. Even if Aquaphor is a sole sponsor or something… I doubt that to be the case but at least have a FEW different Aquaphor ads that can rotate or something. I’ve had the app for two weeks now, I go onto it every day and every time I click something, I see the SAME EXACT ad… TWICE. Not sure whose responsibility it would be… maybe they’ve only supplied one ad or something and your hands are tied but since this is YOUR app, I would think you could at least tell your sponsors that their one single ad on repeat is more annoying then anything and making at least one person never want to buy that product and quit using this app entirely. I understand marketing and how it works… for me as a user, one repeating ad is doing much more of a disservice to both yourself, and your sponsor. But other than that one silly thing, I am enjoying the content and would still recommend this app with that disclaimer ☺️ (it’s also entirely possible that I am nothing more than a super tired pregnant mother going through crazy hormone changes right now too!! 😊😊).Version: 14.3
Love this app !I’ve been using this app since I first found out I was pregnant. I love being able to know how big she is, what’s going on with her growth & inside the womb & what’s going on with my growing bump as well! My favorite part of the app would definitely be the community tab - if I have a question about anything, I can always make a post with my concern or can find other past posts that were regarding the same issue i’m having. Sometimes during pregnancy, you definitely can feel alone, & I feel like the community tab definitely helps those feelings subside when you see just how many other women are going through exactly what you are. Especially when you join a topic for your due date month! I’ve met so many different girls who are due either on the same day, or same week as I am & it makes me happy to know that I’m not the only one experiencing this or that. Definitely would recommend this app to anyone who is expecting, even the S/O or a family member can join the app to see your progress too! (A plus is that you can continue to use the app even after your baby is born, the community topics extend far past postpartum too!)..Version: 14.4.1
So GREAT!I love this app and recommend it to all moms! I started using it when I found out I was pregnant to keep track of my baby’s growth. It’s so fun to see what size fruit he compared to. Not only that, but the app gave more information about what was developing and growing! I was always reading their articles about common pregnancy questions and “what to expect.” It was very informative and helped me feel ready for motherhood. I also have the book which I would read alongside the app! I now have a 5 month old and am still using the app! I’ve joined the community forums which have been great for reading about common concerns (makes me feel less alone). And most importantly, I keep track of baby’s feeds on this app!! This is especially important to me because I breastfeed and definitely have moments of forgetting how long it’s been since he ate. I log/ time his feeds every single time and it’s been a huge help with learning my baby’s preferences. It was also fun to see how his feeding schedule has been changing. I’ll continue telling all FTMs to get this app because it’s been my saving grace..Version: 15.13
Mostly a great thingI’m liking this app- it has daily advice and videos and fun tools to utilize. It also has weekly posts on what’s happening with baby at whatever stage you’re in. I like that it offers advice in all areas of pregnancy and even gives sections on top rated customer reviewed products! Way better than googling it all! My complaint is in the groups section. Once you put in baby due date info it suggests groups based on estimated month due. While this is cool, I’m finding that the people who Join the group aren’t even pregnant! They are trying to get pregnant and clog up the discussions by posting pics of their pregnancy tests 4 days after they ovulate and desperately ask people “can you see a positive line?!” It really irks me. I know the simple solution is to not go to the group discussions, but I feel it’d be better if they had a “trying to conceive” group and didn’t have anyone join one of month groups until they can enter their due date. My having so many people who are hyper paranoid about trying to conceive in the group it makes it too hard to have discussions with people who are actually on the same trajectory as you and it doesn’t make me want to start a discussion because the majority of the people I see posting aren’t even pregnant..Version: 10.8.4
Very Useful!!!!Had my first baby on Oct 2021 and was looking for an app that I could use to track her feedings. So I found this one; at first I didn’t know how to use it that much , but the more I did use it and explored all the things it had I ended up never deleting off my phone!!! the reason is that it has been super useful to me specially since I’m a first time mom! Not only it helped me with writing down my baby’s feeding time , but there’s also educational videos about the milestones your child is supposed to be reaching at certain ages. There’s a “Community” section which I find super super helpful. There you can talk to actual moms from young to much older. From new to pros. There you can post questions about anything that has to do with parenting and it’s also amazing to have a section where you can relate and share your journey!! The app also gives you little articles here and there. UPDATE 2023: my child is now 2 years old and I still use this app❤️ helps me keep us both on track which is what I need since my mind be all over the place 😅😂.Version: 17.1
Peace of MindI have never written an app review before, this is my first. However, this app is so amazing I had to say something! I cannot believe this app is free. I found out I was pregnant at 28 weeks and I am just 20 yo so as you can imagine, my pregnancy was not planned in the slightest. I had no idea about babies and was freaking out. Finally, another young mom recommended I download this app. It was very helpful during my pregnancy to track baby’s development and for me to keep track of how far along I was for when I was asked at appts. The community chats were also very helpful when I was anxious or had any questions, they made me feel like I wasn’t alone. I thought once my baby was born I’d be deleting the app but boy was I wrong. I go on this app AT LEAST 3 times a day for my own pleasure (read articles, explore features, join chats, etc). They recently added a feeding tracker feature. I knew I wanted to put my baby on a feeding schedule and this app makes logging feedings so easy. I am truly in love with this app, and will continue to use it for a long time..Version: 14.4.1
Options on pregnant or not.I thought I found out very early on that I was pregnant. I’m talking three weeks. I was ecstatic! I set up my profile and couldn’t wait to watch my baby grow. But I took more pregnancy tests again and again hoping to get a stronger line to show family and friends. (The original test was pretty strong there was no denying it was positive I just wanted more before telling family). But time and again all I got were negatives. Turns out I had gotten the rare and elusive false positive. I got my period about a week and a half after said positive. It broke my heart to have to say I wasn’t pregnant and that we wouldn’t be expecting our first. But I didn’t lose the pregnancy there just never was one. So it made me feel like a failure for not getting pregnant in the first place and an imposter for all those mommas out there hurting because they’d lost theirs. I wish you had another option for closing out the profile not just loss or birth. Perhaps a mistake or accidental set up. That is my only complaint about the app. Otherwise I loved all the information at my fingertips which would definitely help me from going down the google black hole..Version: 12.4.1
Could be improvedIt’s really nice to have an online community to voice concerns and offer support to other mothers. I also like the weekly updates on what’s going on with my baby and my body and the articles can be interesting too but I do have several frustrations with the app. First, the curated articles that appear in my feed rarely have anything to do with my particular pregnancy- I entered the sex of my baby into the app yet I am constantly shown articles for the opposite sex. Also, I am quite far along in my pregnancy but am being shown articles that really would have only benefitted me at the beginning of pregnancy. Second, the spelling and grammatical errors in each article, along with several glitches in the feed have me thinking the folks behind the app don’t care much about quality. Third, the Pregnancy Math videos are a complete waste of time; you sit through an ad for one minute just to see a useless video that lasts literally 10 seconds and gives you info that you probably already found in an article weeks ago. Fourth, whether you enter that you are pregnant or a partner, you still see the same articles and tips. My husband stopped looking at the app altogether because it just kept talking to him like he was a pregnant woman- what’s the point of entering your status as a partner then? Lastly, the weekly videos are terrible- Heidi’s awkwardly tilted head just talks at you about your pregnancy, saying things that are already in the typed weekly update while showing you images of an incredibly creepy CGI baby. Over all, I am happy to have this app because I would feel pretty in the dark about what to expect in my pregnancy without it but I do feel like improvements could be made to make the app more enjoyable and user friendly..Version: 11.1.1
Makes this experience easier and even more exciting!I love this app! It’s a great tool during pregnancy and keeps me completely in-the-know about what’s happening in my body. I get so excited each week to open it up and watch my weekly video, my husband watched the videos with me so we both know exactly what’s happening and developing. Knowing what the baby looks like and having an idea of what’s growing that week makes the experience even more exciting to me. I love being informed, it makes me feel more at ease. This app definitely helps with that. I also love the community message boards - for the most part. I try to only look at them a couple times a week, some women post things that can make me feel worried or I compare myself to them. I have to remind myself that every pregnancy is different! And I try to keep myself from opening the “scary” posts that could make me feel uneasy or stressed out. Even though I totally understand why someone with concerns would post to a message board - I just overthink! Overall, this app is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!.Version: 10.0.1
For Any ParentThis app! I love it so much. Now I used this app for my third pregnancy (just last year) and my goodness such comfort. For myself not every pregnancy was the same. This time I had fatigue (I mean I’d wake up from 2 hr naps exhausted) it was a peace of mind knowing that was a common symptom at that stage. It was completely new for me. I loved tracking the size my baby was growing. My other 2 children getting involved, wanting to know which fruit can we compare the baby to now. The discussion boards are wonderful. Comforting knowing there are parents out the with same experience as you as well as tips to assist. The great thing is that it doesn’t stop after birth. My baby girl is going on 3 months in 6 days and I’ve gotten great insight on what to expect. My last one is 5 years older so you don’t quite remember how the early stages went. I especially appreciate the daily advice. Love this app! Now they have journal entries and tracking for baby. Like diaper changes and feedings! Perfect 💕.Version: 17.8.2
Be Wary of BoardsThis app is nice in that it shows you your pregnancy’s progress and allows you to know some fun facts about your baby’s development each week. But - beware of the community boards. I thought it would be nice to bond with women in the same stage of pregnancy. Talk about good products or talk about your symptoms. There is some of that, but very little. Instead you find the first month or two it’s just a bunch of women posting their negative pregnancy tests asking if we somehow see a positive line in the picture that they don’t see, then it’s mostly very uneducated posts asking people to guess gender based on Chinese calendars or your gut feeling. Many moms to be give really bad advice, like eating dangerous foods, being ok with smoking as long as you’re trying to quit at some point, and other really shocking things. I feel like no one posts anything from a reliable source and a lot of what is asked could be so easily googled. I try to answer with data because I feel bad for people who truly don’t know and are possibly causing harm, but the amount of encouragement for people who are choosing to remain uneducated is very high. I would stay away from the boards..Version: 13.2.1
Great app for tracking pregnancy; some minor issuesI downloaded this app when I found out I was pregnant in January and have been using it since. I really enjoy it for the most part, the size comparisons (although I don’t believe they’re super accurate), the breakdown of symptoms each week, baby’s growth each week, and being able to join discussion boards and communicate with other members who are also going through the same pregnancy stages. I do think there could be a little bit better moderation in certain discussion groups as there seems to be quite a bit of moms who are very judgemental and shameful. I have never posted a question on any discussion board as I’m afraid I’ll get backlash from someone being judgemental and thinking they know everything. I also noticed that if you use the app for a period of time, it starts to glitch out and become very slow, basically forcing you to have to exit out of it. Other than that, I think this is a great app for tracking pregnancy despite a few minor issues..Version: 15.12
I'm 18 and got pregnant and this app is amazingI'm not going to lie i'm 18 years old and i got pregnant not on purpose, this app has REALLY taken away the stress and anxiety away of not knowing what's going on. you can have your family and friends tell you things here and there but this app just... it just makes you feel good. there's no judgment, it's like celebrating the fact you're pregnant which for someone like me in my case really helps. this app actually tells you a lot about the baby and the baby's development, down to what's organs are forming that week. the other great thing is it offers you help with finding things you would need to buy for your baby and how to get good deals and whatnot. honestly it's a really easy to use app that helps a lot, so if you are pregnant or trying to be this app is a great lil tool to have. (also the whole function of the app is so cute and simple but not to simple, really helps get a break from all the crazy... everything😅).Version: 15.2
Love this appI saw another person leave a very detailed review on why they love this app, and I could do the same. Finding out you are expecting, regardless of the circumstances, is a life adjustment that can sometimes feel isolating. I found myself wanting to connect with others who were on the same journey as me. This app sold me when I discovered the community feature which allows you to connect with others based on a myriad of things - due date, ethnicity, gender of baby, single mom, preemie mom etc the list goes on and on. I joined a group that was specific for moms all due the month my daughter was due. It was so nice to connect with other moms who were experiencing similar symptoms and changes at the same time that I was. It was insightful, comforting and fun to share with one another. I also loved the weekly videos and updates on the app for each part of the pregnancy journey. This app was my favorite out of all the others I tried.Version: 17.12.1
Nice tracker, but glitchyLike the title says I like the tracking features, but they are glitchy fairly frequently. When I track breastfeeding, I’ve repeatedly gotten the error something went wrong and I have to manually guess after the nursing session. I like to track it so I know which breast to switch to in attempt to keep my milk flow as even as I can on righty and lefty. Another feature that is repeatedly glitchy is entering the time for tracking sleep. I have to close it out and restart it to enter the start and stop time. Also sometimes I have to close and restart the app to enter the custom feature (which I use for charting baths or medication). I like all the tips and information this app provides but the tracker really just doesn’t work optimally. Also this is just out of my curiosity how much milk I’ve pumped but if I filter a date range, only the average is provided and not the total output. Overall the app is nice, but this is my complete list of wishes for fine tuning the app that is overall helpful..Version: 26.2
Good but there’s still room for improvementI really like the app and I used it all throughout my pregnancy. I enjoyed the layout, the tidbits of knowledge they shared by the week, and the articles. I’m a FTM and just had my baby a few weeks ago so I started using the “my child” tab to track diapers, feedings, pumps, etc. since the pediatrician asks about those at every appointment. This is where I believe there is room for improvement. Its also the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. My husband is extremely active in taking care of our baby as well but, unless I’m missing something, the app doesn’t have a way to connect that data to him even if he also has the app downloaded. It’s really inconvenient because when he’s taking care of the baby and I’m not with him he has to hand-write all the data, we have to find a time to sync up later, and I have to input it on my end. If there’s any way the devs would be able to update it so partners can input data as well this would be a 5 star app..Version: 17.14.1
Good app, but…Okay. So I’ve been using this app to track my pregnancy and now use it to keep track of my baby’s feedings and more recently diaper changes. It’s super convenient and user friendly, which is a definite plus. The only gripes I have are: 1. The fact that no matter how many times you track a formula feed, the app resets to “breast milk”. Now, I know that’s really minor and not something that should bug me, but I just wish there was a way to just keep it permanently set to a certain milk instead of having to scroll, especially since there’s a tiny glitch where even if you select your preferred milk, it doesn’t always save and it automatically saves to breastmilk, which means you have to scroll back through the list again to put down the correct selection. After all, not all mothers breastfeed nor pump, and that’s okay, but it can be a little disheartening to us formula moms considering the app is obviously “breast is best” minded. 2. I wish we could have an option for solid food. So far I use the “other” option to mark the time for when my baby ate a purée or a yogurt, etc. but it comes up as a bottle feed. Again, minor but just wish we had the option to toggle between bottles and solids. Overall, the app is great. I’m definitely loving the face they added the diaper change tracker. I just wish it were more inclusive, that’s all. I’m sure there will be more updates in the future, and who knows? Maybe my concerns will be addressed, but for now, I give it 4 stars..Version: 15.15
I tell all my pregnant friends about this app!!I’ve used this app my whole pregnancy, 37 weeks now and baby boy will be here soon!! I love this app so much I have learned so much about pregnancy because of this app. I love the community of women on this app as well, everyone is so helpful I always come here to ask questions. Every week this app has been pretty spot on new symptoms that will arise at that time of pregnancy. Just appreciate the app so much thank you! Update: gave birth to beautiful baby boy he is 4 weeks now. Not only was this app great during my pregnancy it gets even better for my postpartum! Every week I get emails regarding the health and development that my baby May experience and it is so spot on! It’s like as soon as I notice something different about my babe I’m getting an email from WTE detailing what it is. It’s crazy how it’s so on track with the babies development. I love the articles on there you learn so much inform and I love the WTE community!.Version: 13.9.1
God sent!Must have if you are trying to conceive, expecting, or already a mommy. There’s something for everyone! BUT… I’d like to make two suggestions for improvement: - I love the inclusion features like adjusting the skin tone of the body that mirrors your pregnancy stage. However, more inclusion and diversity could be celebrated for women who are plus sized or coined as having a “B belly” or “Apron belly” (all terms I learned in the community forums lol). Not every woman will carry with a traditional D belly shape, but we should still be acknowledged. You can diversify your photos in your articles to reflect sizes of different women. You can share topics/articles (i.e., Ways to dress your “belly” to feel more confident). My point is, diversity shouldn’t be just seen in the forum chats, but on the larger platform across the app and company. I’m fascinated to see how different shaped bellies look and representation matters throughout this journey. -Second suggestion: can there be a refresh button or double tapping feature that resets your pregnancy week? Sometimes I want to go to 32 weeks and you literally have to press the arrow 32 times to get there. And there 32 times back? Too tedious. Maybe hitting My Pregnancy button could refresh/reset it back to your current week? Or maybe use a drop down scroll dial to easily select desired pregnancy week? Heck, just hire me for your DEI or development team and we can brainstorm some more ideas 🙃.Version: 15.10
Really nice straightforward appI’ve used this with two of my pregnancies now and it’s worked great for me. Me and my husband love the baby size comparisons as well as the chats that you can make or enter in order to get advice or tips from other soon to be moms! It’s really helpful in terms of getting me started with my registry and I love how simple it is. The videos make me happy cause I love seeing the size or my baby in reference to my belly and the different milestones my babies are reaching that week! I wish it offered some more information on babies born early and such. As well as different things to look out for in terms of mastitis ,preeclampsia.. etc. And I would totally love to have a contraction tracker within the same app! Rather than having to download another but other than that it’s overall great! So excited to use it for future pregnancies. I’ve already recommended it a couple of my friends and they find it helpful too..Version: 16.7.1
This app is amazingThis app has been amazing from the beginning of the pregnancy til even now that my son is 6 weeks old. the information this app gives is beyond amazing !! anything and everything i needed to know was always right here in this app even before i could ask for it ! it always had an article or daily fact right there as soon as i was thinking it or wondering about it. my wife is the one who carried our baby as we are part of the lgbt community and it was awesome to be able to feel apart of the pregnancy with this app since i wasn’t the one pregnant. it was something to be excited about every day to learn new stuff and see how our baby was growing. i was able to share advice and cool facts with my wife sounding like an expert. it was so helpful in times where we weren’t so sure if everything was okay because we could turn to this app and learn that the things we were worried about were actually nothing to worry about and a normal part of pregnancy. my wife did experience a pretty rough pregnancy so calling the dr was very common for us but everything our dr said was always exactly a match as to what the app said as well. i definitely recommend this app for anyone trying to get pregnant, expecting or even a new mommy !! there was never a time where i didn’t know what to do thanks to this app !! big big thanks to the creators of this app and anyone who shared their experiences on here as well !! our baby boy was born in april a healthy 7lbs 7oz and it was by far the best experience i’ve ever had !!.Version: 12.6.3
Perfect app! This is my first pregnancy/baby and this app is perfect. I found it when I first found out I was pregnant and they had my due date correct. This app told me all these tips and tricks and had articles to help me figure things out or learn. They also have a section to ask questions or help others with theirs, a little community. Once I had my baby I didn’t have to switch to a different app, everything was right here where I needed it. Allows me to keep track of my feedings and diaper changes, also gives me information about what to expect or what the soiled diaper may mean. More articles and information for me to learn! Overall, I have no complaints.. this app has literally everything I can and will need for awhile! I tried downloading those other apps my friends had told me to get but honestly didn’t like them at all. This one is cute and organized, easy to figure out, and pleasing to the eye..Version: 16.11
Helpful ! First timerGives lots of little tips and tricks and answers questions that you don’t really think of . Then again there’s plenty of things that u do wonder that they tell you almost at the perfect time of them telling it to you. Gives little videos that instruct you what is good or bad for you and your baby . All in all it’s a very good little app. I love it that it prompts me how big she is and how heavy she is and of course how far I am. That’s always something your trying to add up in the beginning and it’s right there for ya. Haha . Very nifty little app. Maybe add in a couple of things like what we should eat how often we should eat etc . My babies weight is low and I’d love to know how to make it increase naturally especially the last weeks that I’m in (I’m 33weeks along) they’re suppose to gain 1/2 lb each week according to the app and my dr so knowing what could help increase her weight would be very “helpful” haha Thanks!.Version: 15.2
Dope app but I have a small suggestionMy wife uses this app and she doesn’t know I’m writing this review(pregnant women love to sleep) but she shows me the updates all the time and they are dope, we love to see them. My only suggestion/ask is can we please get some more relatable items to better understand how big the baby is getting? For instance, we’re in week 30 and the app tells us the baby is as big as a beet. A beet? App, I am a city boy, not Old McDonald. I’ve never held a beet in my life. But whatever, I let that slide and moved over to the next example. It proceeds to tell me the baby is as big a a slinky dog. A slinky dog? Like in Toy Story? Yup! Same popular toy back in the 70s and 80s! Nobody who has this app was playing with toys in the 70s. We download this app in 2026 and this app was made in 2010. Y’ALL weren’t even playing with toys in the 70s. That’s all I got though. Great app. Will definitely suggest to the homies when they finally put a bun in the oven..Version: 26.10
Likes and SuggestionsWhat’s really exciting about this app is each daily and weekly reminder/tip/article/piece of info is SO on point in terms of timeliness, accuracy of descriptions, and giving just the right tone of reassurance/encouragement right when I need it. Like, right as I’m starting to experience something, that same week, an article or tip about that exact experience will pop up. It’s pretty amazing and fun for me to learn day by day with this app. What I don’t like about this app is that the descriptions favor those who are expecting a girl in the language used (assuming “she” and having more excited tone/word choice for girl-specific descriptions than for the boy ones), and this is even after one selects/indicates that they are expecting a boy. I like that you can change the skin tone of the pregnant belly graphic. I think it would be cool if the What To Expect app could link with the Babylist app for baby registries. I think it would be cool to revamp the Community Groups section a little to make it feel a little more personable and like a social networking platform that helps you feel like you are indeed interacting with other real-life moms. Last thing, a couple times I’ve seen recommended videos of pregnancy yoga on this app, but when I click the link, it doesn’t work. It would be cool if there were more easily interactive yoga/workout videos on here, and even some easy-to-follow meal plans. Overall, I’ve found this app to be very helpful, thank you for making it available :).Version: 16.11
A Great Starting PointThis app is a fun way to start learning about how your body is changing, and what is happening with your baby. It gives you bite size information each day that provides useful tips such as diet tips, nausea support, and what to expect for that week. Certain articles go into greater detail, and I always read them to be as informed as possible. Of course certain books or articles may provide greater discourse on topics, but this is an easy, flexible way to build the habit of learning more about you and your baby. A unique feature of the app that you will not find is the community section where you can ask questions or comment on other community members’ questions. I will recommend this app to any pregnant friends or family members. Thank you What to Expect! It would be fun to if they made one for partners—an account that can link, so partners can stay informed too :).Version: 15.1
Very informative but not gender inclusive.I downloaded this app once I got my positive pregnancy test results. It has been extremely informative and helpful throughout this process so far. I haven’t utilized all the features within the app but I see that it has so much more to offer then just the week by week videos. My major frustration with this app is the how that week by week videos assume babies gender. This might be a minor thing to some but it’s something that really frustrates me. I don’t understand why a whole video )I.re.: week 24) was filmed referencing the baby as a male when half of the audience could be having a female? It’s kinda isolating. Also I know this is for some a more modern approach but assuming the pregnant person is a Mom or a cis female is also very presumptuous. If at any point this app & the book it’s based on choose to step into the modern day I hope they choose to be less gender assuming and more inclusive to all people regardless of their gender identity..Version: 15.8.2
1st PregnancyAll I can say is WOW! This app is very helpful when it comes to new aches and pains during pregnancy. Whenever I get worried about a new symptom, “what to expect” app calms me down and saves me the trips to the hospital. Its amazing how punctual this app is, this week I experienced (RLS) with very bad leg cramps in the morning, I checked my emails and there it said I would be experiencing that well at least (1 in 15%) women do, and I happened to be one. Things like that gives me reassurance that what I am feeling is completely normal and again saves me a hospital trip. Another time I was having very bad sinus pressure and again the app explained that the nose vessel membranes can get swollen which causes nasal congestion. Which I just took Robotussin and got better within a day or 2. The fact that its free and still give’s helpful information!! I was recommended this app now I recommend it to other friends who are expecting (:.Version: 16.4.1
Best App EVERI don’t usually ever write reviews but this app has helped me in ways I can never repay so it’s only fair. I swear this app would tell me everything I needed to know and has saved me and my husband from worrying about anything. As a first time mom, Anytime I get a new symptom I was concerned about and wondering if it was normal, my husband would say “Did you check the app?” And usually when I opened it and read that week’s message my symptom would be addressed! I really feel like this app was like an obgyn in my pocket! My actual doctors appointments were not at all satisfying, I was always rushed and didn’t get to ask many questions. They also never told me what to expect that month. Thankfully this app told me what to expect every week! And even now that I have the baby, there are weekly updates on what to expect from him! Thanks for saving a first time mom from worrying! I hope you guys see this and know that I’m eternally grateful !.Version: 12.0.12
The best help receivedI totally love this app! As my mother’s children are all adults she remembered very few things to advise me of to expect with my little one. This app has helped me in more ways than I can write about. Every time I check in on the app it’s like they know my kid lol. A lot of the times he would have done something and I check the app and I don’t read about it during the month we are in on the app but it will be in the very next month and I would be in total shock that they have this baby thing down to a T. That also helps me understand that my child is on the right track and may be slightly ahead on things. I had a baby during the beginning of the pandemic so all of my baby classes were canceled and no reschedule. This app made me feel like I didn’t miss a thing by missing out of classes. They would have videos and monthly reads on baby. I just can’t say enough how much I looooovveeee this app..Version: 13.7
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Very informative!I greatly recommend this app for 1st time pregnancies & high risk/complicated pregnancies. Pregnancy is scary! But this app allows you to ease your mind some. App gives interesting & accurate information about your baby AND your body! Information is very thorough, yet explained/written in a way that’s understandable (Even provides pictures). App also has a simple layout, which makes navigating/searching topics easy. APP HIGHLIGHTS: 1. Weekly growth tracking of baby -become informed with what’s happening to ur baby inside the womb. Information is throughly explained + u can view pictures & watch videos. (It’s cool to compare with your dr visits & ultrasounds) 2. Weekly tracking/explanation of changes ur body goes thru, will go thru & WHY it must do so - Start to truly understand & become in tune with ur body. (Things u may normally go to the dr for is probably just an annoying pregnancy symptom) 3. Able to Look ahead for u & baby - want to know when those Charlie horses will stop happening in the middle of the night?! Download this app! Lol 4. Baby’s size is compared to fruit & a few other things that’ll fascinate you & make you giggle. 5. Helpful & informative articles available for numerous pregnancy topics. 6. Due date/Account Easy to change/update - had 2 unsuccessful pregnancies, used app for all 3 pregnancies & was easy to update & prior information was deleted..Version: 12.4.1
Love this APP!My son was not born premature but had some minor issues before leaving the hospital. He was small for full term. On top of that he lost almost a pound in the first week after his birth. He had trouble gaining weight. He’s back on track now thank God. My entire pregnancy I used this app and now that I have had my son, it is even more helpful! His pediatrician decided to switch him to a 22 cal formula and wanted me to monitor all of his intake and output daily. I had been writing everything in a notebook and packing it with me everywhere. I didn’t realize this app could monitor all of those things and more! It helps me keep up with everything. I also love the daily tips and facts. My husband thought the baby size comparisons during my pregnancy were sometimes the weirdest off the wall things lol but I loved them. Will be using this app now and during any pregnancy in the future. LOVE!.Version: 16.11
The updateFirst thing, this app is amazing. Being a FTM and EBF the trackers have been extremely helpful! When I felt like he wasn’t getting enough to eat, I could look up his feeding patterns and see that they were consistent. I also created a sleep schedule for him based on his own habits which the tracker helped me figure out as well. With that being said, I’ve seen some issues with the new update. Under the feeding tracker, the time shown is wrong while tracking but once it’s saved the correct time is there. On the main page, the icons at the top are glitchy when I scroll to solids. Lastly, while editing times, like under “sleep”, when I go to save his awake time, I mean to hit save but often I hit delete by accident. This is frustrating. Shouldn’t “save” go before “delete”? Is it possible to switch the spots for “save” and “delete”? All in all, this app is great! ☺️.Version: 17.0
Unbelievably Helpful!!It took me years to consider even having a child. Then years to actually get pregnant. Now in my wise old age ( don’t you dare ask!) I felt like I actually knew nothing!! What to Expect book was a godsend and answered so many questions I didn’t knew I had. So when I found the WTE app, it was an easy option for tracking my pregnancy and most helpful postpartum. I shared this app with my mother-in-law and we gabbed endlessly about our growing new family member. It was a perfect way to bond with her The weekly emails and access to interesting articles gave me life while sitting in bed with a baby attached to my body!! Articles take you week by week on what actually to expect!! From fetal development, expecting symptoms, to baby sleep and eating cycles!! Again knowing nothing before motherhood, I felt totally engaged and informed reading through the app and site!! I would encourage mothers of every age to download the APP!!!.Version: 12.9.2
A consideration to makeI have used this app a few times it is good but if i can make a suggestion. I have sadly had to opt out from the app 5 times due to reoccurring miscarriages. Each time i have come back the app try’s to go back to my previous pregnancy even tho i have entered into the app that i miscarried. Please consider changing this, my most recent loss has been very painful. However i hope to be back one day and it would be so nice to have a fresh start . Thank you for any consideration..Version: 10.8.3
Great appI have used this app for both of my pregnancies and love it. It has a lot of great information you want to know that is quick and easy to find. Highly recommend it !.Version: 10.7.2
Loose the Flipping liquor ads!!I think it’s pretty offensive to be subjected to a booze advertisement before learning about my baby’s development! That’s gotta change. As an alcoholic with over a decade of sobriety under her belt, the last thing I want to see is an ad for booze while pregnant no less! That has to change!.Version: 11.2.1

The information has been abundant and although I didn’t use the symptom tracker, it was awesome they have it. I’m using the tracker more post pregnancy to track feedings and diaper changes.
