Yandex Maps & Navigator Customer Service

Hello, I use this program a lot, very good graphics are used in the map, the only thing that might be better if it is changed is that the color of the side paths, which is gray, is almost the same as the color of the surrounding streets, and for me It is a problem that I am not very young. It might be better if the path is colored. Of course, I use glasses, but it is still difficult for me when the road turns gray. Thank you for your attention

While testing this app, I could not help but notice just how quickly everything loaded. For a Maps app, images load extremely quick, making browsing and searching incredibly efficient. Because I usually do enjoy Yandex apps and software, I should not be surprised that useful features were part of the release. I am very pleased.

I prefer this app because of it's simplicity over others and the ability to zoom in and out with a tap instead of pinching. And the new feature is wonderful for us. Because of the position and the size of my phone on my handlebar, I sometimes have problems while trying to tap the zoom buttons. While riding, I only use my left hand as my free hand since it is much safer for cycling. But the buttons are on the right side. Is it possible to add a setting which will let's us choose where the buttons should be? Lastly, I wonder if it is possible to add a grade/elevation map. It'd be perfect for cycling. Thank you for making the app more bike-friendly.

Some maps have enormous data it can be easily used to identify the unknown caller id in ios system as the phone has feature called Call blocking & identification id like to have it available please

This app is indispensable when driving in former Soviet states. Tells you where the cameras are, when the speed changes (which isn’t always obvious) and everything else.

When I click on a location search box, please make my search history active first. every time I use the maps I have to switch from the category section to the history section.

Yandex Maps knows where the Gulf of Mexico is, which ought to be the minimum requirement to avoid deletion of a map app. Then it earns its five stars with other features.

It does not support some areas, namely Hawaii, but for CA it works nicely. Shows distance and direction s are precise. Also works for manual navigation. The speedometer is not always accurate but it is usually near. It is a nice addition!

I really appreciate this app because of the quality and easy finding places and have a best navigation I’m really interested in. Thanks Yandex

Traveling through Russia and need anything, it’s pretty possible that it’s on Yandex Maps. It’s a great tool to find what you need and gets you around with all their interconnected services

Unfortunately Yandex services not work properly in KSA I think it will be the best alternative for Google suites. Hope to use your apps ASAP especially music and map apps.

Way to go Yandex! You got it on point when it comes to this part of the world Europe, Russia & Asia. You can ditch Google maps & get on board Yandex, my personal opinion.

I don't know why but when you zoom in and out the street names vanish..Can you please fix that?

Public transport not always correct. Nice walking or driving directions!

Point of interests are way more accurate in Belarus and Russia compared to Google maps.

My transport feature is back on track. Seems there was temporary issues with it.

The design looks super nice and intuitive, but the map barely exists in Canada, Montreal. Very unfortunate!!

Great program but wish they would incorporate the toll roads without any prejudices for or against them...

Нравится наличие скоростного ограничения на текущей дороге. Затупил на дороге: при прокладке маршрута говорит нету интернета, хотя браузер и соц сети работали 🤷‍♂️. Очень долго прокладывает маршрут при слабом интернете (что бы Вани часто в междугородних поездках) хотя Гугл карты работают отлично.

Отличные карты, прекрасная реализация пеших маршрутов. Но в автомобиле перешёл на гугл карты, потому что нет поддержки CarPlay. Сегодня это есть почти во всех новых авто с мультимедиа системой. Если у вас не хватает ресурсов, пишите, я вам помогу - очень хотелось бы яндекс навигатор выводить на головном устройстве своих авто

Хорошыe карты России и СНГ (хотя Google Maps тожe прилeстно справляется). Я хотел бы сказать, что в принципе нe правильно имeть дорожныe номeра на дeсктоп вeрсии и нe на мобильной. Я понимаю, что в России нумeрация дорог…нe такая как в других странах, но хотя бы добавить тe номера которые eсть было бы правильно. Всe другиe картографичeскиe вэб-рeсурсы каким-то образом имeют обозначения дорог. Это довольно базовая вeщь для удобство пользователя. Очень вeжливо прошу. Спасибо.

When using other Yandex services it is always astounding how well the localization is done and while you should always be aware you are getting “by Russians for Russia” most apps and services have a global feel. Then there is Yandex Maps. Not sure whether it’s a licensing issue or just too much work for too small an audience, but US maps are highly inaccurate, street names are just romanizations of the Russian pronoun ist ion and entire stretches of streets are simply missing. But then businesses are listed, including with their company logo. Probably THE maps to use in Russia (and I assume a handful of other places), but not quite there yet to replace That Other Maps App.

Obviously my middle of nowhere town is not in the database of this app, the navigation feature is also kinda dumb update for developer: the town is calexico, CA, USA. by dumb i meant that it takes a while to recalculate a route after i go a different direction, and bc its missing some streets it also doesn’t choose the fastest route

Unless I’m missing something, when I enter a specific residential or commercial address for turn by turn directions in the United States, I only get directions to the *city* in the search results. If this is how this app works, and why in the world way ever use this for directions to an address?

There are some destinations that are not accurate, sometimes across the street in the city and sometimes kilometers away outside the city (Google is more accurate, even in Armenia) Best, Michael

I look out the window, look at the sun and just pay attention - gps is used mainly for traffic and speed - sadly, the toggle won’t change the clicks to miles so I didn’t get far with it.

This is the app solely for Russian international use. I tried to use it in Beijing and it works with very limited features. No offline maps are available outside of Russia. So no luck downloading Beijing. No subway or bus network available.

This flashing blue dot asking for login, is extremely annoying. Could you please let me just see the map, without providing you all my personal data?

At least they could give an explanation or publish guidelines for the reviews. They might be taking a page of dirty Yelp review playbook where restaurants pay to remove reviews instead of responding to them.

If you don’t speak Russian, your review won’t be accepted. You can’t use translation service either, cause reviews must be written in literate Russian language. Discrimination in Russia is normal, this is just another form of it.

This app is fundamentally broken. It does not work as advertised. The high rating is baffling and misleading compared to the actual poor quality of the software. Do not trust the score.

Crashing constantly. Did not load urban transport data. Everything in russian even in NYC or Boston. Using location service and microphone when it was disabled. I am wandering how yandex use my personal data?

Every navigation app needs to support CarPlay. Most of the time you need navigation when you’re driving. The app doesn’t support the feature yet and it’s been almost 3 years they promised support

All further attempts to get a location fix are not working

Yandex maps deleted Armenian names of the landmarks in Shushi and other geographical locations of Artsakh. This is arbitrary and plain wrong.

Слишком много рекламы! Везде и постоянно! Я плачу за подписку, какого хpена я должен еще и платить своим временем и комфортом за ваши интеграции?!?!?!

Опять в произвольные моменты стала крутиться карта! Вроде проходили уже! В настройках вращение выключено. Можно оставить карту в покое?

Почему вы убрали возможность видеть, когда приедет транспорт?

Нижняя часть с поиском постоянно выскакивает в самый неудобный момент. Пусть стоит статично, либо добавьте возможность отключить эту анимацию. Очень мешает. И да, верните нормально различимые границы странам.

The color of the path needs to be changed. It is very very confusing. I can’t differentiate between the road I am taking and other roads. The colors are very similar. The other roads should be in colors very far from the green and yellow that we drive on.

Блин последнее время он лагает показывает что я за 20 км от точки где я реально нахожусь тупит, по навигатору сбивает

Карта обезличена, границ нет, движение чисто по дорогам которые нарисованы и то нужно быть очень внимательным и не доверять навигации от яндекс карты/яндекс навигатор иначе заведет в тупик или сделаете крюк на много больше чем ваш путь. Постоянно ведет на платные дороги, хотя стоит галка «избегать платные дороги»! Но! Даже если вы проверите путь после построения пути, во время движения он может изменить путь и все равно вывести на «платную дорогу» или завести в тепик! Будте внимательны!

Приложение стало просто ужасным. Невозможно пользоваться картами, они постоянно лагают. Просто ужасно, карты скатились.

It won’t bring you where you want, it won’t show you the right turns or lines you should be driving in, there is no instructions whatsoever

В Москве не работает в Анапе не работает постоянно зависает! А главное скачиваю офлайн карты а толка от них ноль! Яндекс карты хуйня полная

Yandex programmers outdone themselves once again. This garbage masterpiece has the worst interface I’ve ever seen. On top of that it selected a wrong interface language for me without asking any me which one I need. And there is no option to change it! Well done guys!

Signed up for Yandex plus to get a Yandex maps on CarPlay and discovered that the overall usage experience through CarPlay is very choppy. It seems like graphics moves by frame. I’m using latest software updates on iPhone 11 Pro Max and latest. Don’t have that issue with other navigation systems, everything works fluid. Additionally the arrow could’ve been smaller for better navigation experience. Overall Yandex maps is very good on a phone.
