Doesn’t locate satellitesI used this app for some 4-6 years, had no problem. Now as I try to use it, it doesn’t locate any signals. It’s as if all satellites are gone from the skies. Excellent app for traveling in our RV 😁Camping in State Parks it is often very hit and miss trying to get tailgater to work with all the trees. Purchased the app on Thursday for this weekend in Georgia ........ and it turned out to be the best $4.99 I have ever spent !! 100% every time. I have tried other apps in the past and many show every satellite in the sky which i found incredibly confusing. This app shows JUST Dish which was perfect for us. Thank god for this appI recently travelled to another state for work. Couldn’t get my tailgater to pick up any satellites even tho I had it pointed in what I thought was the right direction. Heard about this app and downloaded. Satellites were not where I expected, so after finding a good spot for my tailgater and moving it, going through setup, I now have all my channels!! It really works!!!I read the reviews and seemed like this app has gotten better more recently. I rolled the dice, spent the $10 and gave it a try. I was camping in a state park with lots of trees. Full time RVer5+. First time I used this app, in heavy woods. Found window through trees canopy, set satellite dish in that location and first time locked in on 119. It's ok - not greatThe app it's self had a nice and simple interface - turn it on and go!! Used it a few times - 3rd times the charm. The compass on the iPhone kept going wackie - one min this way next min this way. Good App but a little bit off on the elevation.For people who want to see it the signals will be blocked by obstructions this is a wonder tool, it does what it says it will. However you need to be aware that while the azimuth of the satellite is correct, this application shows the elevation as being higher than they actual are according to tests I did at home. Meaning that the satellites are lower on the horizon than what is depict on the screen, so if you think you are just clearing the trees you are really going through them. I can't tell for sure with the equipment I have but my guess is you should subtract about 3 degrees or 4 degrees of elevation from what this application shows you. I would appreciate it if someone can either verify or dispute my findings..DonpatwalkerVersion: 1.2

Dish TechAs a Dish service tech I use this app EVERY day and has been dead on every time! It is so much easier than most apps I have used and much easier than using a inclinometer! But as a tech it is not a replacement for the inclinometer when you are trying to get a signal through a small hole. I recommend this app to every customer that has an RV or moves their Dish. The only thing I would change is make recalibrate button, rather than randomly recalibrating. If that's the only thing I can find to change then I think this is a GREAT app!!!.DishGuy.2Version: 2.10

A Great ToolIf you are an RVer in the South, you already know how difficult it is to find that ideal site and that "hole" through excessive Pine Trees. If you live in Texas, you don't need this App. On the East Coast, it's a great tool. Not accurateBought it in hopes of getting a general direction of satellites and make sure trees were not in line of site. Well trees were ok but when I started aiming the dish where sats should be at least according to another web site, no signal any where. Went by what the receiver said and that azimuth was in western sky so no way that would work. So had to wind up calling dish to get pointed. Come to find out sats we're not where app said or where receiver said after putting in zip and using sat #110 or 118. Bottom line, the dish RV app is no where near accurate. I guess about 30 degs off. No I would not recommend. Also using the tool on the setup may be accurate depending on where you are..Arty109Version: 2.30
