VocaLive provides singers and vocalists with a suite of 12 real-time professional vocal effects, along with a range of tools to help you practice, sing and record. The effects can be combined into a chain of 4 processors and saved as presets. A collection of 55 presets is included to get you up and running immediately.
VocaLive CS for iPhone comes with the Reverb effect, and upon registration the Double effect is unlocked. You can add 10 additional effects à la carte from a selection that includes Pitch Fix (for tuning or stylized FX), Choir, Morph, De-Esser, Delay, Parametric EQ, Compressor, Chorus, Phazer and Envelope Filter. Together these effects provide unparalleled creative processing power.
With VocaLive you can process your voice, sing along to any song in your iTunes Music library — its Voice Cancel feature lets you remove existing vocals — and warm up with helpful vocal warm-up tools.
Use the new 2-track recorder to sing over backing tracks, or expand the studio section (available via in-app purchase) to record whole songs.
With the optional Mic Room feature, VocaLive also gives you the sound and color of 20 classic and modern studio microphone emulations, for even more control over your vocal tone.
Ready to perform? VocaLive’s new Live Mode offers an optimized GUI specifically for live use. See your entire chain at a glance, with all the settings and controls you need in an easy-to-read format designed for the stage. Plus VocaLive offers an optional 4-track looper to easily create songs, harmonies and more on the fly.
For best quality, use VocaLive with IK’s iRig Mic range of microphones, from handheld to studio condenser mic. Or connect your favorite 3rd party mic using our iRig Pre interfaces. But you can also have fun with it and record quick ideas using the built-in microphone on your iPhone or earbuds.
Control your virtual rig just as easily as you would a traditional vocal multiFX with new iRig Stomp I/O integration, so you can change presets, control effects and more right from your feet. Or go wireless with iRig Blueboard, a wireless Bluetooth controller for basic control on the go.

Can’t use itWould have gave it 5 stars but I had it on my old iPhone and when I upgraded from the 11 to the 13 pro, all my data plus apps were transferred to my new phone but this app is the only one that will not open and that is a problem because I paid to use extra stuff in the app and I don’t want to uninstall the app and reinstall the app because I have unfinished music that I need to finish can you please respond back to me about this issue..Version: 3.0.3
5 stars.... until nowThis app is the best digital studio I’ve used by far, until yesterday when it stopped loading. When I click the VocaLive icon, the screen appears, but instead of the app starting a few seconds later, it shuts itself off. It may have something to do with the new iOS update, but whatever the issue is, I hope it’s fixed soon. I had only a few days ago deleted all of my other studio apps, and began relying solely on this app for all of my recordings, and now I’m munsunded..Version: 3.0.3
Amazing, professional sounding app!Hi! Really love this app. Once you get to learn how it works, just amazing! One little thing though. Updating it to work wirelessly would be so great! A little primitive that corded headphones are needed in order to listen to the recording. Can you please, please make it wireless soon. Update is betterI only use this app for the 'vocal remover'... I've been using this app nonstop for a few months now and I really love it! Anywho, it would be brilliantly amazing if you were able to save the vocals you removed from a song, and actually be able to hear the VOCALS ONLY. I was amazed when I found this app; it was something I needed in my life.....Version: 3.0.1

Sing in tune with gaming headsetFinally it's there! I always thought how nice it would be to walk along the house with a headphone on and at the same time hear your own voice with reverb mixed into the track you're playing. Amplified singing or humming along the track in tune (if you can sing) is great for song practice or just for fun when you want to be a part of the track to. Headphones are great for that, and when other people hear you sing with Vocalive it may sound great cause of the fact that the singer can hear his or her own voice. And it doesn't have to be loud. As far as I know there's not (yet) a quality headset with a special iPhone plug for mic ànd sound (only the ones with mic in the cable for phonecalls). You have to buy a (hard to get) adapter for this purpose and a quality gaming headset. So the iRig mic is ok but when you want your hands free (when cleaning the house, cooking etc) a headset with a quality mic is a better idea..Version: 1.0

Engine is GREAT / User interface needs workFirst thing is first: CHANGE THE ICON. I passed this app over for months and months because I didn't want to download something that wouldn't help me as a songwriter. Whoever wrote the program's engine is the real hero. Ultra low latency, great lush effects and I love the ability to save your own presets. Possibly the beat engine out of all the other apps I've been downloading for the last 2 years. However, the interface needs some serious work in the navigation and chaining of effects. I can't figure out the relationship between the favorites and the presets. The screen I'm in doesnt tell me. Bottom line, the navigation needs work and maybe the entire interface needs a refresh to be taken more seriously. Its gotta start with that barbie doll / American idol wanna-be icon. Rip a page out of Sonoma wireworks 4 track app. It's nice and clean and at the end of the day, simplicity with a great engine wins, not just one or the other. Market this as an alternative to Sonoma's 4 track recorder and they'll finally have some competition..Version: 1.0
In between!!It's really a good and bad app at the same time!! The cool thing is that u can like here yourself like your speaking into a micro. It's really cool!! It's also cool how u can sing along with your face songs on your ipod and stuff! The part that gets annoying is how is squeaks really loud whenever you get loud or whatever. Also how you can't record and sing at the same time unless you set both at the right time but you still get confused!! LovelyIt's simple and does a great job. I received a voice over narration assignment and, using an iRig mike, read the entire script using this software and sent the tracks to the producer directly over email. The narration was edited and cut and done! For quick demos, fast takes, there is nothing like this. I would like to see a graphic EQ so I could adjust the highs and lows of my finished product with setting that I can save so my takes all sound the same day after day. Bravo! Demo problemsI really like this app, unfortunately the reverb stopped working for no reason. I would hope this would be a huge concern to a potential buyers like myself. I would have spent the 20$ as this is well worth it, but until something is done about the bugs, and glitches I cannot justify it. FYI the reverb would not work no matter what I did. I tried every setting in the app nothing. I closed and restarted the app several times nothing. Restarted my iphone4 nothing. The only thing to bring back the reverb was to delete, and reinstall the app..Version: 1.0
In-app purchase warningThe app is prone to crash and have bugs but it functions in a useful way. I never had a problem until I purchased the recorder in-app purchase (as I didn't want the full app and only that one feature). The app loaded my purchase and it was fine, however, when I closed out of the app and opened it back up again, the recorder feature was gone and it was asking me to buy the feature again. Wow, thanks for that! All of the in-app purchases are starting to reek of scam. Be wary with this app..Version: 2.0
Great sound and functionalityI'm giving this 4 stars simply for the fact you can't delete a track you recorded. You have to record over it like you would of you had a old 4 track tape recorder. This is not a tape recoder and should not be that hard to delete a track you recorded so you can try again. But other then that, I got to say they did a great job on this app! Sound is great no latency unless using the high end plugins. Revered works great, bit would like to see more options. Other then it's limitations I recommends buying this app. Cheaper to buy the pro other then Getting the lite and having to buy all the ad ons make it 3x more costly. Have fun!.Version: 1.0.1
Best simple but powerful recording app anywhereThis app deserves so much more credit. I have downloaded every other multi track device with "effects" out there and this blows everything out. And no you don't need IRig, the iPhone mic is killer. You have to spend 5 bucks on the multitrack but so worth it. 5 stars all around, buy this app!!!.Version: 1.0.1
Good app!I love to record music and this app works perfectly, but I did have to buy the four track to record my music. However I bought a new mic the other day and I was so excited to see if it worked with Vocalive and it didn't.... I am so angry!! MY #1 FAV APPI use this app everyday. It is absolutely my most favorite app, and I wish I could afford the full version or any add ons. I have an app thats cheaper and does basically the same things, but it crashes alot. The only thing I wish this app had was more features in the free version.
