I never order or eat at chili’s againPoor customer service Poor rating at Moore ok rating suppose general male manager dark hair heavy set worse customer service ever at least the other manager said he did know exzactly how curb side works but the GM said he was also unsure but became rude and very disrespectful in front of my 1 yr old daughter so I downloaded app after holding forever to call in my order and since I had my 1 yr old 1 day before Thanksgiving I did curve side while sitting In my car waited the allowed time plus 20 minutes and the rude young lady ask if I checked in advised online didn’t mention anything about checking in she then goes I’ll be out in a min came handed my food with no thank you or nothing so since I thought that was rude I got my daughter and when in and spoke to 1 manager about it so he backed what she said with a I think I asked to you think or know he again said unsure but his general manager is right here her came with the same spill asked him the same and he blame the vendor of the app then he ask what he could do to make it right I asked for a full refund and return the food he refused refund again blamed vendor asked for his manager card like his that he so quick gave when he refuse refund and insulted me by saying he couldn’t refund where was he gonna get it from he has kids to feed too when I again asked for his manager he stormed off and made me wait another 5minutes then comes back with my 2800 cash and told be my card would be refunded too and of course it wasn’t like I told his it would after he brought me a receipt with my order on it the taken off a receipt but I new that was made up because my debit card wasn’t attached to the bogus receipt he first tried to give me therefore I have not been to chili’s since.TamikamimiVersion: 3.6.1
I love this place.I love this place. I’ve only eaten at the one on Poplar Level Rd in Louisville Ky. And I’ve only dined in at the restaurant itself once. All the other times (which has been at least 100 by now) has all been done thru ordering via the App and picking it up at the Carry Out Counter on either Friday or Saturday nights before I go into work. So I can have it for Lunch/Dinner at work. The ladies that have always taken care of me there have always been sweet and very awesome at their job. They have never messed up my order. They have always given me extra sauce when I asked for extra. And kitchen staff had always had the food read at the time that I asked it to be when I ordered it ok the App. There has been times that I’ve ordered the food 12 hours or more in advanced the morning before I had to go to work as I’m going to bed (I work 3rd shift alone as a dispatcher at the largest Towing & Recovery Company in Louisville Ky every Friday & Saturday night). So I highly recommend the App and the Restaurant. At least the one I go to on Poplar Level Rd in Louisville Ky.

Tips!!It is absolutely INSANE that there is an automatic 20% tip added to your bill at checkout!! It should ask you how much you would Iike to tip, cause people like me who haven’t paid attention ti each detail when cashing out have been tipping that much without knowing it. And a 20-22% tip is what you would give a waitress who actually serves you! I always tip & believe they should be tipped but they put my food in a bag & they “should” be checking your food, but I no for sure a number of your to-go employees dont check it; all this time I had no idea that a 20% tip was already added to my bill and would tip cash when I picked it up. That means they have been getting double tipped from me for quite some time now, as I just figured this out today. CurbsideDon’t offer curbside service if you aren’t going to actually bring it outside. I specifically ordered curbside pickup because I can’t walk on my left foot. I frequent this particular location often, like 3+ times a week, yet this simple concept that is being advertised isn’t being achieved, either the crew is overwhelmed with orders so they are coming out 80% incorrect, or they are so slow the staff doesn’t care. And if the app doesn’t allow someone the opportunity to check into the location there is no employee responsible for keeping an eye on the 4 parking spots for this particular service. Overall Good App, Some Features Are BuggyI love Chili’s lol, and the convenience of being able to save my account on the app and order quickly makes planning dinner a breeze. But there are a few bugs I’m noticing that make me want to use the app less:
1) When my location services are set to “always on” for the app, I’m often marked as “here” before even reaching the restaurant out on the road! Not sure if it’s the app or the restaurant that sets the “here” radius, but it makes the employees think I’m impatient lol
2) I now keep location services off, however, if you do that, you have to press the “I’m here” button on the order page when you arrive. That’d be fine if you were able to switch to another app (ex: gps to get to the restaurant) and come back to the Chili’s app without it completely resetting and not allowing you to pull your order up to mark that you’re here.

App needs work, missing basic featuresI like that you can place a carry out order on here, but there are some basic things missing that are somewhat concerning. After placing an order the first time, I was able to check in on the app. Second order, no such option. Well, there’s also nowhere to view past or current orders, which could lead to a lot of headache if there’s any glitches in the system, nowhere in the app is there a way to see and show the order you placed.
It’s also a pretty slow app at loading to order, and you can’t leave the app to say view the allergen menu (which the app has as links to a browser and not in app), or else it boots you back to square one of the app, no way to continue mid-selection if you say check whether a side on a 3 for 10 deal has gluten or dairy allergens, you’ll have to go back to place an order, load the dinner selection, select the items, etc..Phillk86Version: 5.1.5
Terrible usabilityJust in the registration process, what a hassle. I start the registration process and get to the password entry, which three or four pages in because they can’t just put all of the information on one page like most apps manage. I switch to my password manager to generate a password and when I come back to the Chili’s app it has reset so I’ve got to start the whole process over. Go through the multiple pages again but the app doesn’t like the password I’ve generated, so I need to switch to my password manager again which of course means I’m going to have to restart the process once again.

Covington Chili’s Service PoorOur fairly recent Chili’s in Covington, GA. Lacks on management and service. Numerous times our service has been poor. I still leave a good tip, but, I will write a review. My husbands chicken crispers meal came out well over 30 minutes after all 10 of us got our food. I kept asking the male waiter, he replied, its coming right up. I asked again, again, again, 30 minutes later his food came out. Was told, I will discount you for your food coming out late.

Ziosks need updated or something! UghThe service and food wasn’t all that bad, but it took over 25 minutes to get our tabs paid for! We didn’t arrive back to our place of employment until 1:25 (supposed to be back by 1:00). Only REALLY customizable app I’ve used!Having a family of picky eaters, it’s the bane of my existence when I try to order online and can’t fully customize orders. I’m not talking crazy custom, but when I can’t order burgers with or without certain garnish (or dry for one of mine) or an extra side of sauce, it completely defeats the purpose of ordering online. Easier on the web than the appIf I’m ordering on the app and click on another app or try to message someone it closes the app and you have to start all over. I was ordering and finished then messaged my mom to confirm before I paid and when I went back to the chilis app it had closed out and had to restart the app and order all over again. It’s easier on the web. Also, each time I order a burger I order in “pink” inside and only once out of the past 20 burgers or so has it actually had pink inside. I’ve left feedback for the restaurant but it’s never been rectified. Works fineThe app works fine but I HATE that if I start my order and then have to click out of the app, I have to start my order over again when I go back to the app. Sometimes I want to check my bank account or get distracted by something else and it’s annoying to have to enter my order again.

Almost perfect but one bad issueThis app makes ordering really easy...I really like the fact that it remembers previous orders with all their customizations, even if it’s in the restaurant and not through the app. BUT! The app closes itself when the screen shuts off and it loses state when it does. This is annoying if you’re in the middle of an order but it makes curbside check in impossible. Why does the app need my location at all times if it isn’t tracking my progress toward the restaurant? App is better than most but could use more workComparing the Chili’s app to other restaurant apps, I think Chili’s is ahead of the game. But it still needs some work. This review is solely about the app, the food is always good here.
Pros:
Ability to pay at the restaurant. I’m glad you have this option because sometimes you want to pay with cash. Others don’t allow you to do this, and it forces me to call and place my order.
Cons:
-I can’t see the details of my previous order. Currently it only displays the name of the items, without any customization or price or rewards redeemed. I wish to see the full order, with all the details.
-Lack of customization. You allow the most basic customization of any app I’ve used. I find it hard to believe that anyone that eats at Chili’s does not customize their items. I love this app. There’s only one issue!This app has always been great for me. You can easily customize the options. The only problem I have with it, is that if you order through it and the app closes out you will no longer be able to tell curbside pickup you are at there. A few annoying design quirksFor example, if you’re in the middle of an order and leave the app, the app can return to the home tab which offers that you “start an order” and when you click order, it asks you to confirm your location, and only then can you click the unlabeled bag icon in the top right corner to see that your order is still there. It feels like “continue your order” could be on any of these screens.
Less annoyingly, when entering payment info, you select the type of card you have, and then enter your card number, and if your payment method doesn’t fit the card number (based on the number pattern) the app tells you there’s a problem with your card number. But it could be a problem with the card type; it should highlight both fields. Moreover, if it has the ability to detect card type based on the number, why does it need to be entered?
Unrelated to the app, I’d love to see plant-based chicken crispers on the menu, plant based chicken has come a long way!

CurbsideI give their curbside 5 starts I will give them more if I could. I use the app all the time and it works fine with me. Food is always on point and on time. Almost 5⭐️This app is almost the best ordering app I’ve come across. Since covid we do a lot of online ordering and most don’t allow you to customize the amount that this app does. I appreciate the fact that we can purchase extra dipping sauces BUT you need a Pico de Gallo option!!!! I go round and round with the staff at my chili’s and they always have such a problem giving it to me when I’m more than willing to pay whatever they’d like but they don’t understand it’s not an option to order.

Limited selection on appThe app doesn’t have everything on it. Like you’re really missing some good stuff. You’re missing the IBC Root-Beer. But that only has about a few sips in it anyway.

I’m not in the app right now so I’m forgetting what’s missing but I’ll strongly suggest you check your restaurants and update the app with the finished menu. H and the ribs your using doesn’t really have a lot of meat on the bone. So maybe look into another kind of ribs that has more meat ? Your chilis. You gotta be on the ball here or the other restaurant is going to win over the customers. You might want to go easy on your soda prices. $3.19 for one soda is a little high. My Donald’s is winning with there $1.00 drinks. C’mon you gotta match that or be cheaper. Over the price on food as well. Compare yourself to all fast food chains. Win over the customers. Don’t let the Outback steak house win over your sales on steak. Let’s get refurbished here and update everything. Price is key. Don’t worry about staff or other things. Order Resets Every Time You Switch AppsThe app has a clean interface and is easy-to-use, even if you’re not computer savvy. The menu is laid out well and the customization options are great. It would have been a 5-star review, but every time you minimize the app, switch apps, your phone locks, or you breathe too hard the entire order resets - even if you’re logged in to your account. I was ordering for me, my mom, and my sister so I texted them to ask if they wanted bacon crumbles on their food. I returned to the app and the whole order was gone. I had to ask what side they wanted - same thing. I had to check my bank account balance to see which card to pay with - reset. I had to walk to get my credit card out my purse - my phone locked due to inactivity and boom, it was all gone. I ended up having to re-input the order (and all the customizations) at least 6 times. In the time it took to order and pay for 5 items, I could have driven the 10 minutes to the restaurant, ordered in person, and driven home. Bad serviceThe last 2 times were terrible service. So slow! Only SIX tables occupied! Male host & male employees are very lazy acting, leaving tables to be cleaned, while people are being sent away to wait in their cars. We finally got in last time to see why our wait was soooo long and it is because of lazy employees! Not a happy customerPurchased a electronic gift card online from a 3rd party vendor. Downloaded the Chili’s app to place my order for delivery at the hotel I’m staying at. Placed my order about to use the gift card and guess what? You can’t use the gift card for delivery the card can only be used for dine in or to go orders. Seriously!!!! That is not mentioned anywhere on the gift card I travel for my job and stay at different hotels. Why would I get an Uber of Lyft to go and pick up an order when Chili’s advertises that they deliver?? Will never be backI ate at Chiles in Columbia SC tonight. I have not been to Chilis in a long time. I was so disappointed. My brother and I went and we both ordered a rib eye steak. When our meals came we could not believe it. He had ordered his well done and I ordered mine medium rare. Mine was at least twice the size of his. We were given plastic utensils to eat with. I tried hard to cut the very large amount of grizzle off with that plastic knife but finally had to ask for a real knife. Thank goodness they did give me one.
I have to say my broccoli was very good but it did not make up for the terrible steak we had. We will never go back to Chilies again. Our meal was almost 80 dollars and mostly not edible. Neither of us enjoyed our steaks though we did eat them because we had to pay for them. I was surprised because I had always had good food here in the past. One of the people sitting near us had their food served on a tin plate like a tv dinner. I do not yet understand why we had to eat with plastic silverware. Condiments optionThere aren’t sufficient add ons or remove choices. Like you can’t add a side of guacamole with southwest egg rolls. Or remove the ranch from the quesadillas. There are no substitute type options, write in options or special instructions buttons. Every item should have modification buttons. If I want a side of guacamole there is no place to add it save ordering a menu item that has add “fresh guacamole” option added into its possible modifications. You could have sides of condiments listed under their “sides” menu. Even there you have to hit the sides button to get it to show you the sides instead of it just going ahead and listing the options directly. Just not possible to order something like you actually want it with out having to call the store after you order. Yet you cant call in the order, you can only order to go through the app. Maybe that’s it. They just want you to order items as they are on the menu so they make it difficult to modify. Either way the last time I ordered the take out, I called twice and talked to the girl at my window twice and they still got the condiments wrong. Great Restaurant/ Terrible AppI eat chillis frequently and love their food. Very consistent from chain to chain and I really love my local Chillis in Johnson City, Tn. This app is laid out just fine but has slow and poor functionality. Logging out and clearing my cart every time I leave app or answer call while ordering. I have plenty of available memory on my phone as well so that’s not the issue.
I have 5 children 12 & under. Needless to say we have to order to go a lot. Too many times I’ve ended up ordering from a different restaurant because by time I put all of our orders in something with the app resets or goes slow or my cart gets cleared. I don’t have this issue with any of the other restaurant apps I frequently use. Which is a shame because few of the places have as good of food as Chillis. Worst service everWe ordered a southwest salad and a chicken enchilada and also the starter one of the starters with the beef the the castle skillet so they never brought my skillet out and my southwest salad was a mess up I just sent about the first time it was wrong when they brought it back to me and so instead of them taking it back this time they just bring me out some grilled chicken to put on top of my salad and thenThe server never even checked to see if it was OK after the food was brought out until I had to get up and go find the hostess to help me with the order because it was messed up and also the manager came to talk to me and see what was going on and she told me that in Lou of the situation she took the salad off of our meal which she didn’t she did that after the fact I watched her walk to the register and take it off this was just a bad service for me today and I would not recommend Chili’s to anybody.I didn’t even get to mention about my enchiladas there was not even a enchilada sauce on it there was nothing on it it looks like rolled tacos and some chicken and cheese it was horrible.WsrffhgrfVersion: 4.7.8
Order issue and missing addressesDear Chili’s Leadership Team,
I am writing to share feedback regarding ongoing functionality issues with the Chili’s app that significantly impact my ability to place orders.
First, the app does not allow customers to customize menu items by removing ingredients such as onions or pickles. The ordering system only permits items to be ordered “as is,” which forces me to call the restaurant directly every time I place a pickup order. In 2026, customization is a basic expectation in mobile food ordering, and this limitation creates unnecessary friction.
Second, the app does not recognize my address for delivery, even though:
My entire neighborhood has delivery access.
The Chili’s location is literally across the street from me.
The system incorrectly recognizes someone else at the same street address in Georgetown, while I live in Liberty Hill.
Because of this mapping error, I am unable to order delivery through the app at all. I would much prefer to use the app for both pickup and delivery, but these limitations prevent me from doing so.
To summarize, I am requesting:
The ability to customize menu items (remove ingredients such as onions, pickles, etc.).
A correction to the address mapping system so my Liberty Hill address is recognized for delivery.
I enjoy Chili’s and would like to use the app regularly, but these issues make it impractical. I hope this feedback can be escalated to the appropriate product and technology teams for resolution..AC4BBCVersion: 8.3.6
The newest update isnt goodI love Chilis, and I usually place a to-go order through the app for the chipotle chicken fresh mex bowl. I used to be able to customize all the ingredients, if I wanted them on the side or not, and if I wanted extra. I always ordered extra ranch and chipotle pesto, because the meal is pretty dry with the standard amounts.
Ever since I updated the app recently, theres no option to get anything extra or on the side, except avocado and cheese for $1 more. It’s the same thing with ordering extra dressing on salads as well, and I’m sure many other meals that I havent ordered.
I don’t know if its due to inflation, but there should at least be an option to order extra things, and just pay for them instead of them being free like they used to. App has too many glitchesIt took me forever to get my two item order put in for pick up. I had to exit the app and go back in a couple times before it accepted my reward for the free appetizer with my meal. Also, the app kept taking me back to the Orange homepage, acting as if I was starting a new order. Once I finally got my order in and set up for curbside pick up, I had to use GPS for directions to get down to my closest location. When I clicked back onto my order, where it had the button for check-in, the app again took me out back to the Orange homepage. From there I was not able to get back to the check-in page. Once I got to Chili’s, I had to go inside and walk to the back and wait for someone to come up to the “to go”desk, since the app wasn’t working right and I was unable to push check-in. Check-in brokenI like using this app to order food when I want to pick it up and take it somewhere with me. However, I have two issues. First, I have to add an item off the menu when using a reward. I cannot just add it from the rewards screen or at checkout. Next, when I pay at the store, and I wait to pay because 1/2 time the order is wrong. Anyway, if I want a receipt they either have to walk inside to get me one or I have to re-enter my email. Look, I ordered through the app. Plus, my email address is accessible through my card (Squared does just fine) Make them connect. Finally: Every. Single. Time. The app resets. It can’t be that hard...This app is good, but it won’t allow you to use gift cards during checkout... only credit. If you want to pay with a gift card, you still have to go inside to pick it up. I wouldn’t think it’s asking too much to have that functionality on the site, particularly during these times when many of us want to limit unnecessary contact.
I also noticed, although I believe it’s part of their external site so I’m not rating the app based on this, but the page where you check gift card balances, is not optimized for mobile. It is almost impossible to utilize with any efficiency as the security image “test” (where you prove your a human) falls outside of the mobile page parameters and it’s really hard to complete.

One of the Worst Restaurant Apps I’ve UsedI generally like Chili’s, but the app is incredibly frustrating. I had to re-enter my credit card info after it mysteriously disappeared at checkout. Then it somehow switched my order to a completely different location—without my approval. I didn’t receive a confirmation email until after I had already arrived at the original location, and the text message provided no useful details. Now I have to drive 15 minutes to a different store just to get my food. On top of that, the app constantly logs me out every time I close it, forcing me to sign in again just to see my order or info.

App needs major workI don’t know if it’s an attempt to try and scam or if the app is just really built this bad, it has issues with payment system that the employees themselves claim happens all the time, stops you from being able to pay online. If that isn’t a problem, you can surely count on the app creating favorite quick orders seed off of previous choices, but with variations thrown in to try to get you to reorder a previous order, but with a margarita and dip trios added. Makes 0 sense to push that on people when they’ve never ordered these items. Let’s talk about how they made using coupons actually more complicated and extra steps for no reason when they had a working system previously. This app never works anymoreThis app took my order (containing my birthday free dessert reward) and then canceled the order, which also resulted in the loss of my birthday dessert. That was a while ago, I got mad and decided I was done with Chili’s for a while.
Well now I am trying to use it again (I even made sure it was updated), and it will not allow me to place a mobile curbside order. I will have made a selection of an Old Timer Burger, with “pink”, and a blackberry tea. And then once it is time for check out, it will say something isn’t available. But only one item at a time. E.g. “Pink is unavailable”, okay then I change it to well done. Return to checkout. “Blackberry tea is unavailable”, okay I’ll change it to mango tea. Return to checkout. “Old Timer Burger is unavailable”. Okay I change it to some other more complex burger. How are you going to tell me that the most basic burger is unavailable, but a specialty burger is that contains literally the same exact ingredients as the basic burger?
I digress though. Long story short, I was not able to order through the app. We ended up ordering to-go inside the restaurant, they had everything available.

Needs a lot of workC’mon, Chili’s! This app could be so much better. Save my address for starters. I shouldn’t have to enter my home address at all, certainly not on the 4th or 5th time I’ve had it delivered to my house because there’s nowhere else to be in COVID times. And order status? Non existent. Not in the menu. It shows it after the order but heaven help you if you tap anything else because it’s gone forever. Why? If you keep it and don’t do anything, it doesn’t display the map that DoorDash has. And it’s them delivering. iPad friendly? Nope. It’s 2020 and should scale properly and take advantage of the larger screen. But it does not.

Online ordering does not workFor at least the past two times I’ve tried ordering from the app, the payment never goes through. The first time, it went finally through after I selected a tip amount. Why should I have to tip to get the app to work? I would get the same issue when I tried using Apple Pay (with two different cards) and when I entered the card number.
The second time this happened the app would not accept payment no matter what I did, so I had to go to the website to order.
What’s the point of having an app if it doesn’t work correctly? Or maybe it is working correctly and they are just forcing us to tip or they won’t accept our order.

At capacity on 5/23We came into Chilis in Crystal River on 5/23 after my daughters graduation. We were told by an employee that they were at max capacity and could not take any more customers. She also commented that she didn’t realize it was graduation and they let all their servers go home early and only had two left.
I have been in the restaurant business for 25 years and every Manager knew when there was a big event in town. Staffing was always extra n those days.
To say they were at capacity vs short staffed is a different story. So here I am the next night getting take out due to the “fear” of the actual restaurant being at “max capacity” again.
Very poor management and treatment of a family on a special evening. We came to Chilis because that’s what our graduate wanted.

No contactOrdered delivery from the app tonight, stated it’d be ready in about 20 minutes. 1 hour later no food, call the store to inquire about it and find out the order is just sitting there waiting for a DoorDasher to pick it up and that I need to talk to DoorDash about it. 90 minutes after my order I just go and pick it up myself. Contact DD and they have no information about my order at all and that I need to talk to Chili’s. Zero way to talk to anyone about the orders on the app. Call customer service, no one answers. Website has link to talk to someone and it redirects me to a site they want me to pay $5 to talk to someone. Chili’sMy husband I just went to the Chili’s in Hagerstown and we ordered the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. My quesadilla came out and found several big pieces of grill char in it after taking a bite of it, my husbands was perfectly fine. We expressed our issue and we had to ask the waitress to get another one! We left the pieces on the plate and the waitress took it back to show the kitchen. We got desert and the plate had chocolate sauce all over the bottom of the plate and it got smeared all over the table (desert we ordered didn’t even have chocolate on it). After all that happened we overheard a manager apologizing to a table behind us for their wait for their food. Not once did we get a visit from a manager for the issue with our food. BruhOk so the food here is great, I’ll give credit where credit is due. But during the time of Covid-19 curb side pickup is the main way to get food from here. But online it showed have the menu and on the app we had to re order like five times. Very difficult.
On top of that time before Covid we dinned in with our grandmother.. we ordered food each and the waitress took our order incorrectly and when they brought the food out they brought our youngest (6 year old) a huge meal that was meant for a family. We told the waitress that was incorrect and she still charged us for it until we got upset and had her take it off. The app used to workThe app has always worked fine in the past. I launched it today and was logged out. That was different but no big deal. I get logged, place an order and am forced to go to another app for a moment and when I return to the app that I never actually closed, it had me logged out again. Now I have no way of tracking my order that my girlfriend on her way to pick up. Normally I would send her something to confirm the order for the counter, but can’t see anything to show I placed an order within the app. Luckily I was sent a text to let me know the order was ready.
