Helpful after eye surgeryThis app is great for coordinating medications that have different schedules. After eye surgery, pain killers are 3/day, two drops are 4/day, and one drop is 2/day, with some tapering to less doses a day over time. When eyes are operated on two weeks apart, this gets really confusing! With this app I can create left eye and right eye reminders with pictures of the bottles. It’s really helpful. A few improvements I would like to suggest: - on the schedule screen, add “next” time along with “last taken” to get an idea of the schedule coming up. If I have to plan ahead for an outing and bring my meds, I have to go to each individual med and then click twice to get to the next scheduled time. After my second eye that’s 14 clicks! - some medications should be taken no earlier than 6 hours after the last dose, rather than on a time schedule. It would be nice to be able to put that in the schedule. - it would be nice to be able to copy and paste a drug (left eye drops are the same as right eye drops but with a different schedule, and copying common drugs from one profile to another would save time)..OriginalGizmogalVersion: 8.0

What the others seem to be missingJust had prostate surgery, and with it along came six or seven “take as needed” medicines. Not to mention the five “must take on schedule” meds from this last Fall’s stroke. This app let me schedule reminders for the required meds while still letting me easily record the times I take the as needed stuff. It’s quick and simple to enter the needed info. Some things ...After using this app for a while and trying others this one is the best overall in terms of logistics and its GUI. There are some things that I would like to change but I'm picky. That review was a year or so ago. They've done a lot of really interesting updates. It's very decent and easy to use. I really like how I can put a pic of my bottle or pills or whatever. Also I can go back and edit something I messed up or the dr changed. Another of my updates. The App's updates are very nice. I'm still using this app because it does such a great job. I got an Apple Watch and I didn't realize but this app works with the watch. It's completely customizable. It works awesome without the watch and it works extremely awesome with the Apple Watch. Best app ever!I’m a power user of this app. I not only use it to track my complex medication regimen, but I also track some of my pulmonary therapy exercises. I’ve used PM to track and manage all of my medications since 2009. I have a huge body of data in this app. I’m frequently seen in emergency rooms, and I often get admitted. They love PM at my hospital because I just hand it over and they have a perfect contemporaneous record of everything I’m on and when I took it last. I consider PM to be the cornerstone of my entire chronic disease management system. It’s extremely flexible, works with all my meds, injectables, oral, topical, and even powders or liquids. Excellent medication reminder appI have been using PillMonitor for years, it is a comprehensive medication reminder system. Any medication can be added with number of pills, prescription ID,Prescribing physician, and side effects. Provides variable ways of reminding when a medication is supposed to be taken. VERY good App!This is a GOOD app, but COULD manage to simplify the process of taking multiple meds, that are scheduled at the SAME time! I take 3 and 6 pills at a time, four times daily. Great tool - I bought itI use the paid version. It’s very helpful and has nice reminder sounds. I hear the birds and know it’s time to take my prescription. Only thing I wish it would do is show the badge when things are overdue, even before I open the app. Currently, the badge doesn’t show until I open the app and ignore the past-due reminders. Best med minder appI've tried too many med-minder apps to count. This one does the best job of logging my meds without forcing features on me that just get in my way or missing features I do need. I'm able to configure the app to suit my needs. Data is exported conveniently as a spreadsheet (which I often use for viewing my data in different ways). I like this app but it's missing a componentI have used a pill reminder app for years and was forced to change. This app is ok but if you make a change or edit a dosage or spelling it doesn't keep your info. Reliable and easy to useI have been using this app for years and I stick with it. It works very well. I especially appreciate how it adjusts administration time when I travel between time zones. My only criticism is that if I don't respond to the alert in the app by saying I've taken the med, the app does not show a red bubble with the number of missed doses. Kardia experienceGreat help in monitoring our heart rates - could actually now see what i was experiencing with atrial flutter then atrial fib - able to share with cardiologist. My husband did not know he was in continuous atrial fib and was put on anticoagulants. A critical incident a week ago when his heart rate dropped to 30 bpm and he went into shock resulted in him getting immediate care. The monthly fee is too high as we have our own cardiologists and do not need interpretations...may look at alternate programs because of this. Newest feature is annoying. Where is the Taken All button?This is an OK app that gets the job done, but there are annoying things about it such as the convenient “Taken All” button which has been inexplicably removed. It made logging multiple medications much easier. However, the newest feature that makes me want to delete the app is the Refill Reminder. The only people this feature might benefit are those who get prescriptions at regular intervals, but we already know when we need more because we A) look in the bottle when we take the meds or fill our pill organizers; and B) buy new prescriptions regularly. This reminder feature just adds another complication. The app will literally prevent you from logging a drug until you update the quantity to more than zero. It’s just so stupid..PhasbotVersion: 6.0

The developer feels compelled to disable reminders if you have not responded to previous reminders. I guess the greater sin is to not record your actions rather than the developer purposely disabling the reminders. What’s with the greed?I purchased the pro version back in 2015. But now I’m being forced to subscribe or I can no longer log my med doses. Granted, the subscription rates are fairly cheap but it’s a matter of principal. The app still has the same old user interface with no MAJOR updates in the 7 years I’ve been using the app. So how can you possibly justify this? Furthermore, I had an issue a while back and the developer did not respond to any of my emails. When my “free 3 month trial” is up I will not be renewing. Used to be greatThe original version of this app was very reliable, the alarm was good, the app unfussy and easy to set up. Now its way more complicated, asks for a lot more info than it needs just to set up a few alarms, and doesnt go off half the time. And did I say it now costs a lot more? Can't get audio alarm to work consistentlyI always get text notifications of the alarms I set but the audio alarms are hit and miss. Many times I've tested it by having the phone in my hand, ensuring my volume is on and at the max, waiting for the audio alarm and all I get is a text notification. Really needs improvementThis software company has some great apps. However this one needs big improvements. If you take multiple pills you have to take each pill individually. There is no take all button. Also if you take a pill when needed there is no easy take now button. It just isn't up to the task as it should be. Good concept but needs workI like that I can add pills that I take as needed and keep track of those. I would really like a report function where I could see how many of a particular drug I took in a given month or other time frame of my choosing. Also it needs a delete function. If you make a mistake and record a pill as taken you can't delete it, which makes history inaccurate.
