* This is the best app for diabetics trying to recover their health - without question.
* I spent a lot of time researching diabetes apps, then chose this one over a year ago and have been using it everyday since then. It has exceeded my expectations for diet management (still can't believe how much info they have on foods, food groups, and packaged foods!), lab and exercise tracking, and especially all aspects and ease of diabetes management. It gives me good personal feedback, keeps me on track, and has helped me and my physician meet my DM treatment goals.

Diabetes Tracker by MyNetDiary Positive Reviews
Use it and lose itCataloging everything that passes your lips can be very tedious and all the times I tried writing it down I never seemed to be where my log was. With this app and our age of technology, I'm never far from my phone. I love that it interfaces with Fitbit and other apps. Yes the food library is a bit limited but the app provides ways to help them help us. It also allows you to put in your favorite recipe and account for things you'll never find in another place on the planet. It conveniently lets you scan the upc and in most cases, the dietary data is provided. When it doesn't, it's easy as pie to take a pic within the app of the front of pkg and of the nutritional data and they update the system as we collectively provide data. You can keep track of anything you want in this app and it's especially helpful to see trends. It's always a good thing to raise one's awareness and through the use of this app I've been able to significantly lower my A1C, lose 20 pounds over the last year and increase my awareness of what I'm doing to and for my body and health. The spreadsheet is miraculous to review with your doctor and see trends that support your health. My doctor commented, while I showed her the graph on her screen at the Ofc that she wished all her patients were willing to use technology to help themselves. It inspires me to see the guy descend the slope each time I'm able to show another pound gone. Yay for this app!.Version: 5.45
Great app and great support teamUpdate: Wow! Support team responded to my direct message and communicated that the insulin tracking issue was being worked on and would be fixed in a few days. Here we are a few days later and the app works like a dream again. Well done! This was a terrific app but the latest update made the app instantly useless for diabetes management. The Dashboard shows an Insulin tracker. Pretty good right? Nope. Choose this tracker and the next page DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY INSULIN DATA. Instead it shows many other health trackers but NO INSULIN info whatsoever. WTH?! I reach out to support and they state that it’s working they way they intended. With the “update” I’m supposed to now find the My Health section (which is buried at the bottom of the page behind other useless data) and then search for the insulin tracker. Why can’t it just be found under the supposed insulin tracker from the dashboard??!! The best part is that once you finally find the insulin tracker, it now shows a useless bar chart by default which does not include any meaningful past data. Just a bunch of bars that are supposed to indicate insulin units but is so jumbled it renders it, well, useless. Guess I’ll need to find a new app. Frustrating..Version: 9.19
Well worth it!This app works well however after using this app for 1 year now, I noticed that the exercise calorie counter is a bit off. I have compared this app burn counts to several other apps, and it shows that I burn more calories for certain exercise event than I actually burn. In other words; it may show I burned 325 calories when other apps will show I only burned 250, for the same exercise event. (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). All other aspects of this app are excellent! It has helped me to track my carbs when My carb intake was dangerously high. And keeping me on track has helped me stay off of insulin and other medications. I have monthly meetings with my Doctor and show him all my data from the app, and so far we are both impressed with this app regarding food data analysis. Meaning Carb intake, calorie count, vitamin and macro nutrient data. I have now set this app up with my blood pressure meter, glucose meter, and other alcohol apps. Keeping my data all in one place with one app. Not to mention all the compliments folks are giving me on weight loss and how physically fit I look compared to a year ago. This app has helped me to accomplished this without to much technical difficulty. Very easy to use. I will probably use this for several years to come..Version: 9.10
Great app for Diabetes trackingThis app is similar to MyNetDiary with added features such as tracking blood sugar and other medications. It also syncs with other devices to track steps and exercise. I also like the note-taking function. I am using the Max version that I believe is worth the price. Besides diabetes, I have other medical conditions and I find this helpful for everything. Being able to log medications ensures that I don’t forget a dose or double-dose. My doctor appreciated that I could show her my blood sugar results over a period of time. This is also helping me to lose weight. Research shows that people who log their meals and weight are more successful. There is something about having to write something down that can really influence your choices! The app will also sync with some scales so you don’t have to manually input it (or cheat). For me, this has everything I could ask for as far as an app that both helps me monitor my diabetes AND help me lose weight as well as monitor other medical issues. As an RN, I am used to “charting” patient activity, meds, and progress. For me, this is an easier way to do my own “charting”..Version: 6.87
Good but reports need workTracking is excellent. The paid version is great with xtra details for Diabetics. However, the reports need the ability to customize. Printing is too small to read. I may be missing something, but you can’t change orientation, or get rid of the food grade column which is useless to my Doctor. The emailed report works, but the customized PDF daily can’t connect to the website and gives an error to Wait one minute and try again. They won’t process to print. This feature was working up to a few days ago. Emails to the support team have gone unanswered. Reports are the most important part of the app for me and my doctor. If this is not important to you, its a great app. If support is given in this paid version, I will revisit my review. Updated: I was contacted by support to help with the issues. Turns out it was my own misunderstanding of how this app works. All is fine and the app is working as it should. Thanks for the help. I will continue to use this app going forward..Version: 7.96
Went from 274 down to 152!It took me about six years but slow and steady, and totally relying on MyNetDiary, I was able to track my diabetes, the food I ate, and so much more. At first I used the free edition and it handled all of my needs. A few months ago I invested in myself and purchased the full app and I’ve never been happier! My A-1 C is down to 6.0; my BMI is 20! I use the app religiously. Daily, several times a day, I enter what I’ve eaten-every scrap of food. I track my blood glucose, my insulin and my medication. The built-in pedometer, through the Apple health app, tracks my steps so I can log almost 2 miles walking every day. Thousands of recipes included so I can use the menu planner to figure out what I want to eat during the week and still keep my calorie count. And when I am at my goal weight, MyNetDiary can continue to help me by giving me my calorie range for my lifestyle. MyNetDiary has become a part of my life and I really can’t imagine living without it!.Version: 8.49
What was free is now subscriptionIt is infuriating to see features that were free become subscription only. $9 a month???? Ill write my own tracker on a spreadsheet. Then I can track and graph “tracked” items like I’ve asked for for years. Very disappointing to see simple tracking of nutrients now costing money. This is a trend in many money hungry vendors today, charge a fee for obtaining the app and then demand absurd amounts of money for features that were free and cost the developer nothing. I can understand needing fees to pay for subscription services in order to provide certain features that cost the developer to supply but charging for previously free services that cost the developer nothing because they are services that once included for one item cost nothing for 100 of the same. If this reflects the true cost of the application, it is certainly not worth $90 every year. Cashing in on diabetes is reprehensible..Version: 6.93
It Is A Time SaverAfter reviewing 15 other weight loss Apps, MyNetDiary was the most comprehensive design that fit my needs and is a well thought out plan. Even more so, the App is constantly being improved. I applaud the designers with a combined 84 years of experience. Every day I learn something new, while shedding undesirable body weight. I love the tips, because they increase meaningful and practical knowledge. As Dr. Maya Angelou said, “when you know better, you do better.” There are several cute little art work designs here and there that puts a smile on your face and the meals are tasty, too. Doing your part is part of the challenge, but it is time well spent. Almost one year later and I am convinced that this is the right APP for me. MyNetDiary can be used to track a variety of nutritionally related concerns. It is frequently evaluated and enhanced with new features. I call it the APP that keeps on giving..Version: 9.7
My indispensable toolMyNetDiary was my essential logging and guidance tool when I had to lose weight and get my diet into balance. Logging is a pain, even with a great tool, but for me it was the key to honest portions and steady progress. I could see my results in a wide variety of charts. In the long weight loss slog, an improving chart result was an encouraging boost. I love to cook and MyNetDiary let's me enter ingredients (scan them in with your camera) and create menu items that are an easy shortcut for entering favorite foods. You aren't stuck with only commercially available foods, although the program has a large and growing database of regular grocery items. I am still managing my weight and food intake with MyNetDiary. It takes a willingness to do the logging and be accurate with your quantities. (I highly recommend a scale.) Weight loss schemes come and go, but if you monitor and control your food, you can lose weight. I did..Version: 5.45
Efficient but needs workI started using this app on the recommendation of my doctor. I like the way data is stored and displayed. However, the food input needs serious work. My wife and I are retired and enjoy eating out as opposed to always cooking at home. When I go to log in foods from a restaurant I find there is no consistency in the values of the items that are multiple entries. Example, McDonalds French fries. There are three sizes available but in the database there are 21. Other than the size, which are the correct ones? Plus there are items from California, the US, UK and India. Another example is from Chili’s. If I type in “Chili’s chicken tenders” I get those (3 different ones) plus many items that have chili in it. My recommendation would be to have a menu of restaurants listed with their foods and nutrition from their corp office. I’m going to continue using this because my doctor “really” likes it. Please straighten up the food lists..Version: 8.91
I've Been Waiting Years For This App!!!Have been using 3 apps for years to track nutrition, diabetes & meds. Yippee! One app to do it all. App takes into account all aspects of DM management. Was very impressed with d-carb count which make a significant difference in managing diet & meds. Daily summery of blood sugars, insulin & other meds, nutrients, H2o, activity, ability to set parameters for nutrients & blood sugars specific to the needs of the individual is much appreciated. Food database still on the small side but will enlarge as people use it I'm sure. I stumbled on this app by accident & consider it a very happy accident. Can't wait to show it to my DM & dietary educators. As a retired RN & having worked with many diabetics as well as now being diabetic myself I can really appreciate this app. Good job guys!!! showed this app to my diabetic educators last week & they were very favorably impressed. They plan to recommend the app to their clients..Version: 6.84
The Best Food TrackerWhen I decided to finally start tracking my daily food intake I didn’t have any idea which app to use. A Google search didn’t help much. There seemed to be four main ones. I downloaded all four and subscribed to their premium content and logged my food in all four daily for over six months (Ok, I’m retired so I had the time). I can now say that My Net Diary is the best by far. This app has everything the rest has and much more. There is so much information packed into this app it’s unbelievable. Everything I wanted and much more I didn’t even realize I needed is here. This app will also sync to my Fitbit Charge 5 and many other fitness trackers. I’ve now cancelled the upcoming auto renewal on the other apps and will keep my subscription to My Net Diary..Version: 8.36
Love this app! Worth every penny!!This app tracks everything! You don’t need any other app! One stop health app!!!!! I am a type 2 diabetic and I follow ketogenic diet. The app tracks my medications, My supplements, my blood sugar, my blood pressure, my oxygen, my steps, my water intake,As well as giving me an amazing macros pie chart to look at. It lets me set my daily goals by carbs rather than calorie while letting me still watch my calories. I just love this thing! You have continued to make it better and better as I’ve used it and I am so excited to tell everybody to sign up here! I have told my whole family that they should have this app. So helpful for when you have medication and a forgetful mind to be able to track your medication & know exactly what time you took it! Wow, you guys just keep getting better and better!!!.Version: 8.6
This is the best diet tracking appI found this app after being told by my doctor that I had pre-diabetes. But I wish I had found this app sooner! In the past I have used My Fitness Pal and Eat This Much--and I liked both of these apps very much. This app goes beyond what those others can do. All of the features for tracking your nutrients, the premium recipes and food plans, the ability to easily add recipes, the auto-calorie adjust, the ability to verbally add in my food--these are just a few of the features I love. It tracks my diabetes carbs, the Dashboard can be personalized, and they send me a weekly report. It is an amazing app and the developers are very quick to respond to emails. This is an amazing app! I lt has been a life-changer for me..Version: 8.45
Great app!***update from original post below. It’s been well over a year and this is still, by far, the best app for a Type 1 diabetic like myself. The only thing I could hope they’d add is a Bolus advisor for folks like myself for whom a pump just isn’t an option. *** I am so grateful I found an app that can help me track everything that's important to me. I'm a juvenile diabetic who wanted one place to keep her blood glucose readings, track her insulin doses each day and her food. Sounds simple yet no other app I tried had everything. I love the fact this app. "Grades" my food. This keeps me focused on ensuring I don't eat food that's really just junk. I love the fact I get a weekly summary of what I ate that also outlines what I've done well and areas I should focus on. I had no clue I wasn't getting enough calcium until I started noticing that trend in my weekly reports?! Negatives? Just a few. I wish the reporting was a bit simpler, more intuitive. I wish there was a feature that would help me determine the nutritional values of a recipe. And that's about the only two negatives I can think of after using this app for several months. Overall, I love this app..Version: 6.64
All data in one placeThere are many facets to this app. I find myself inputting data all day- time consuming! I think it will take less time as I get to know and understand this app. I have already found a glitch in inputting meds. The app says to put three characters, in reality it only allows two and does not save the data. I wish this was linked to my ‘stab and read’ blood sugar machine- I hope to graduate up to the monitor on the arm, read by ones iPhone. Which will date this technology. No reason why this shouldn’t be the norm, as it is no fun waiting on lazy programmers to do their job…but then again we are slaves to slow internet. America has become a third world nation! Slow to have up-to-date tech in the hands of its citizens.(capitalism at its best). I have a year subscription to this app, but believe it will be way out dated in less much less time..Version: 9.16
I love this appThis app is the best. I tried the others; however this one is easy to do. I've been doing it for six days and haven't missed logging what I eat and my glucose readings. It is helping me understand my personal relationship between certain foods and my glucose numbers. I say cool beans!!! The first paragraph was my first six days. I still like the app nd it does fulfill my needs; however, I am not using the custom meals as I should so I am not using it to its full potential. Overall it is helping me tremendously. I am still using this app and after starting Keto I am more enthused. I have met my diet goal and am enjoying the lifestyle it brings. Along with my glucose monitor I am living a good daily life as a diabetic..Version: 8.5
Best App for Health Tracking!Every micro and macronutrient is trackable in this app and it’s highly customizable, and each food in their database is verified, so you know your tracking is 100% accurate. Tracking is easy and you can see which food(s) are the largest contributors to a particular micro or macro, which is really helpful. Sync with Apple Health is seamless. The Apple Watch works great with this app too, and there are a lot of complication options. I can’t say enough good things and I’ve tried just about every nutrition tracking app available–this is the best one out there! Just get this app, you won’t be disappointed!.Version: 8.49
App has glitchesI use My Net Diary to track my blood sugar and insulin. But since the latest updates, the program has several major glitches. The most critical problem is that important nutrition data is not being calculated in the meal totals. The data is shown in the full description of the food, but the numbers are not loading to the meal screen. The problem is erratic and doesn’t happen with all foods. But as a result, my insulin doses have been off. There are other issues that are minor and not health critical, but makes this app a pain to use. I have been using this app for a long time and have even recommended it to friends. Until the programmers fix the issues, I would say, for the sake of your health, avoid this app..Version: 6.48
Great systemThis does everything they say and more. I use the diabetes add in and it tracks the most important things I need to know. Support is 5 star if there's a problem or question they will get back to you in record time. Getting and printing reports takes a little getting use to but it's nothing anyone cannot learn. Keep to the and you will lose. Year later Through no fault of this app. I gained some of the weight back. So I am going in the schedule again and I can honestly tell you you need to track your food all the time it's something you cannot stop doing. Track it and you will lose stop and you don't know what your eating..Version: 5.45
Think and thinI have been using this app for about 2+ years and love it. I can track all my diabetic insulin and carbs meds and exercise. I can go back days and months to see what works and what failed. I used this app for my Keto diet and lost 25# and tracked everything I ate plus added new recipes or foods. I could track my HCG and my insulin and meds. At one point I would print out my daily calories and take them to my dietitian to prove what I was eating and how to manage my insulin. I only had to pay extra for the print out but I paid only for the month I used it. I can’t say enough good things about this app it has been with me for thick and thin. Lol you.Version: 6.68
Updates are not improvementAfter recent update. Logging of medication and insulin usage has become cumbersome with more steps required. Process is not obvious or straight forward and requires a bit of experimentation to figure it out. Feedback on successful data entry is not immediate and requires backing out of application and return to confirm data entries. I use this system to provide feedback to my physicians. Currently not sure how that works now. Although I think I have figured out your process, it’s more difficult to use and I am shopping for new applications..Version: 9.18
Long time user - do not like new interfaceNew interface is clunky, too complex. Too easy to enter data and accidentally delete it. Reminders and buggy. Keeps adding 24 hours to target times causing reminders not to trigger. I am using my iPhone alarm to set reminders to test BGL after meals. Labels used to sort current to to the top and usual near it. Now there are a lot more labels but not sorted usefully so find what you want is a pain. Glucose Buddy did the same thing a few months back.... took a perfectly good useful app and trashed the interface. Am currently using the Classic option but data entry still clunky Hopefully these guys will fix this - the list of useful diabetes trackers like this one is short - This one and GB used to be among the best..Version: 6.24
Amazing programStill learning after 2 weeks but this gives u more info than any I have used. Plus it provides information on various topics to help u reach your goals, whatever they are. I scan most of my foods to initially add them but only found 1 that wouldn’t scan and u can still find foods by searching for them I.e. 93% fat free ground beef as well as more typical higher fat content versions AND it gives much more nutrients in foods. Log your glucose readings & times as well as meals & snacks & exercise. Extremely detailed program & u can share with doctors. Bargain @ $60/yr IMO..Version: 9.11
Very helpful for tracking diabetic nutritionAs a newly diagnosed Diabetic, I needed to find an app that would help me track my glucose checks, my medication, and my carbs and sugar intake. This app was the answer. I’ve been using it for a week. I did pay for the premium version and I really like it. It’s got different diets that can be customized to your needs. I chose the low carb diet and used the app’s recommendation of total carbs needed for my height and weight and my personal goals. I am finding it very easy to use. I would recommend to anyone who needs or wants to be more mindful of their nutrition..Version: 8.75
The best app for managing the keto lifestyle!I tried 5 other top rated apps, this is by far the best one. With this app I can track my blood glucose, carbs, net carbs, protein, fat and a ton of vitamins and minerals; not to mention height, weight, body mass index, personal macro targets, water exercise, steps, meals, recipes, and custom and database listed foods. I especially like how you can use the bar scan feature to scan foods in the supermarket or at home to add to favorites and recipes. This app works great on my phone and my iPad. I rarely ever purchase annual fee based apps, but this one is Easy to use and well worth the annual fee..Version: 7.87
I love this appI have diabetes an this is my go to support and weight loss tool. Sometimes I wonder away but always come back to it. Using My Net Diary D allows my to make choices (sometimes cheats) in my food selection and I always know where I stand with my daily calories. I can also check all the other valuable info from my choices. Then there's the info from MNDD on what I am doing right and suggestions on improvements I can make. It is well worth the effort and gets easier as you stick with it. 5stars. And it just keeps getting better..Version: 8.41
Very HelpfulI have used this app for a few months now and I really like it. I don't have diabetes but I have many relatives who do, so I check my blood sugar regularly just to keep an eye on things. I was trying to keep track of everything in a spreadsheet but this app makes it so much simpler. It's very easy to use. Entering glucose numbers and food is super simple. I like being able to create recipes for things I eat regularly. I've never paid more than a couple of dollars for an app before, but I would say this app was definitely worth the money. I also like that it links to the Fitbit app..Version: 5.45
Carb counting for diabetes controlVery easy to follow app for knowledge in how many carbs, protein and fat are in your meal choices before and/or after eating and logging! I like the weight loss advice and trending information that’s provided by the app. Good articles as well. I was diabetic and after 6 weeks of dropping carb intake between 50-80 per day, I am back down to a pre diabetic status. Best of all, I don’t feel like I’m starving. I also drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. Sometimes more! I’ve also lost between 11-13 pounds. Give it a chance and be patient with yourself..Version: 8.86
Great Tracking AppBeing diabetic, I keep track of my glucose readings daily. This app does that for me and makes it easy to see how I'm doing in the chart area. I enter all food and medicine, vitamins daily, and track all exercise. There is a chart for all so you can see your progress. It also shows a fat, carb, and protein sliding bar showing how much of each your body gets, and then the overage. It's great to watch my carb count. At the end of the week, you can print a complete report of all the food you eat and exercise. It's easy to enter everything you want to track. I really love this app..Version: 5.45
A Real Assist in Setting & Keeping GoalsI have always known that keeping a food diary was paramount on staying on a diet. In the past I used a small notebook which could and did become tedious. This app is not only convenient in that it is in your phone it gives at a finger touch all of the parameters, exercise, restaurant nutritional content, frozen food Nutritional content, plus the ability to design custom recipes. If you get premium you can track measurements and graph other health parameters. Just can’t say enough about this app..Version: 8.23
My Diabetic Tracker w/ Blood Glucose Tracker is AwesomeI was diagnosed with Diabetes Feb 27, 2014. I was 66 years old & there is no way I could even begin to properly keep track of my disease without this program. It tracks my glucose, my food, my exercise, my measurements, everything important to a Diabetic person. I'm always inputting information into my phone but I can't imagine how more difficult & more dangerous Diabetes would be to my life if I didn't have it. The articles, tips & support help are awesome too. I totally recommend this program..Version: 8.19
Great tracking app!I was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes and have been using this app for a couple of weeks now to track my blood sugar readings and log my food. My favorite parts are the scanning feature for food labels and that you can change the parameters for your bgl ranges. That way any high numbers will be highlighted so you can easily identify patterns. I think there are features that you can pay for like a coach but I LOVE that it’s not pushy or in your face about it. Overall, I highly recommend it!.Version: 8.26
All my stats in one placeI had written a critical review previously (which I don't see). However, after a few emails back and forth with the developer and using the app, I have a more positive response. I'm using Max which requires a monthly subscription. If you want diabetes charts in PDF or mailed, you must go onto the website. Also, most listed foods are from restaurants and are not generic grocery purchases. I also wished it read my Bluetooth meter. Otherwise, this tracks my exercise, glucose readings, food intake (carbs and proteins), weight, medication, covering everything I need to report, in one place. So it works for me..Version: 5.45
Newest update does not fix insulin display problemThe addition of My Health display has very much changed how useful I find the app. Logging my insulin is one of the only reasons I switched from MFP to this, and it has now become unreliable with respect to being able to update my insulin history. I can’t add my long acting insulin for last night, for example. It keeps switching it to Wednesday. I will keep working at it, and see if it’s an issue with how I set up my dashboard. But My Health overall has made it much less intuitive to just use the app. If it turns out to be user error, I’ll come back and update this..Version: 9.19
It's a great app!I've used this app for many years now and it has improved a lot. The truth is that the app is comprehensive and the sharing with Health App is nice. It also is able to import some data from the Health App like bp, and place that data on a chart. I like a lot the charts it shows where you can see your progress (or lack thereof). The widget allows for quick logging of blood glucose and a daily average. Highly recommended if you want to log and keep tabs on your progress. I wished it had the option to track ketones in the urine..Version: 6.84
Good diabetic appI really liked this app before, but the latest updates have made it even nicer to work with. I find I can't eat nearly as many carbs as it allows and still keep my blood sugar where it should be, but this can be adjusted in the settings. I wanted to combine this app data with fitbit and had to also purchase the max application; that didn't seem right to me, but maybe it was my misunderstanding. The app does allow you to track everything you need to and the reports can be tailored to most any of my needs..Version: 7.66
Best Health app I have seenThis is the best Health app behave scene since having to track all of my food intake and other vital information including insulin tracking, blood pressure, and most of the common things the doctors want you to track if you’re a diabetic. I do a lot of cooking and have many recipes of my own, besides what is in the app. They are so easy to track put in and search for ingredients, that even I can do it and I am 76 years old. This app can help save your life if you just let it!.Version: 8.29
Jury is still outI like being able to see what I ate for breakfast OR lunch OR dinner OR snacks listed in rows, with small icons and information about the food. This to me is helpful. However, it would also be nice to click “all meals” and see the same list compiled for all of the items eaten that day with selected data of specific interest displayed beside the food item such as calories or fat or other nutritional information as desired. Just to have a big picture view of the foods that might be taking you in the right or wrong direction..Version: 9.17
REALLY awesome. This wonderful app took the fear out of not knowing how to balance my diet by having complications with counting calories etc. Very well put together app, what a lifesaver. I hope this app always stay up-to-date and supported, it really makes a great difference for those of us that are looking to better our health due to health issues or not. I have already gotten two of my love ones on the app also, which they are loving the functionality of the app as well for their own health..Version: 8.7
Hands down the best app for keeping track of you dietI have used this app for a very long time and it just continues to get better and better. I never leave comments or rate apps but if you are looking for something that will work with other apps and integrate with the health app then look no further. This now even has a full meal planning portion with a grocery list. It’s just a perfect app and once you find where everything is the app works exactly how I need it to..Version: 8.31
ExcellentMy Net Diary has helped me in tracking everything I eat and exercise to loose 20 pounds so far & helped me get my blood sugars down from over 200 into the 120 range. It has also helped me increased my water intake to a gallon a day. It’s been a big help. It’s important that you enter everything throughout the day so you can see that you are on track for were you want to be. My apple watch works w/ My Net Diary to track my steps & exercise. I paid for the full version. For me its worth it to accomplish my goal to a more healthier me..Version: 7.84
Thorough and well developedThis app amazed me. I’m semi-new to tracking my health and food and this app looked like it would do what I wanted and Holy Cow it is so much more. Way better at finding foods I want to log than other apps I’ve tried (briefly). Then my dietician called to see how I’m doing and I used the share function to send her a week’s worth of data and she was “…very impressed with My Net Dairy's analysis!” The only downside to apps this thorough is that they take a while to master. Well done though!.Version: 8.72
Love this app for everythingI have had this app for a while but never committed to it. Read an article about amputations from Invokana and decided to get serious. In eight days I am down four pounds and my morning number today was 102, the lowest in two years. My favorite thing about it is the food checker. I can go to the store and scan different products to compare their grade. Brilliant. I still get to eat yummy things but I can choose the healthiest from the bunch. Love love love this..Version: 6.67
OMG! SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO WRITE SOFTWARE!!!This is the best built, most well-thought-out piece of software I have had the pleasure of downloading in years. The guys who wrote this stuff, know exactly how to write software that is usable, intuitive, and helpful when you do something that can be done better another way. Most software these days has crappy interfaces, non-intuitive methods, and buggy action. But this just works great. Helpful tips come up in an extremely clear fashion when you do something inefficiently, but what you did still works. It covers far more than I will spend time entering, but for those of you who want to collect metrics up the wazzoo, it’s there for you. Great software. The only 5 star I’ve ever given, and I’d give more if I could. These developers should be training all upcoming software “engineers”. ❤️.Version: 9.3
MyNetDairy ReviewThis app is the best app for logging and analyzing food consumption. My endocrinologist was amazed at the details I provided her. This app should be provided to all diabetics when first told they have diabetes. Great APP. The reports portion should be allowed in all levels of the app. The app warrants a 5 star rating. After using this app for the past few year, I am still impressed. I noticed today that the app sync to all my devices, making a must for everyone who wants to track their heath..Version: 8.32
Great AppLove it! I love the store scanner app. It really helps you make healthier choices. I thought I was making healthy choices this whole time. Not! Also like that you can scan your food in. The only problem is syncing my fit pro to this app. Not wanting to pay extra fee for this. It should just sync. Thanks to whoever made this app it is the best one I found that is so easy to use and cost efficient. Thanks for making my life easier. All the apps I visited are really ridiculous on how much they want to charge and they don’t work properly. Thanks again!Miche.Version: 6.57
Food Diary OK, Exercise Tracker WorthlessThe exercise tracker in this app is worthless. Every time I try to record a walk it constantly stops tracking and if I don’t hit resume it only records a small portion of my walk. For example today’s 1 mile walk around my neighborhood with my dog only recorded 0.3 miles. I don’t know if it stops recording when I stop to let my dog do his business or when I stop to say hi to a neighbor, but if this thing can’t remember to resume once there is movement it’s completely useless and very frustrating..Version: 9.14
Super beneficial appI have been using the app for 1 year and have lost 34 lbs{208 to 174} the secret is measure everything.Version: 9.20
Great appEasy to use Would be nice to enter individual veggies for a stir fry. Atm I’m just calculating it all individually because if i document stir fry’s it’s a lot less soo unsure if that’s accurate! I would go for premium but was too expensive!.Version: 9.23
Very satisfiedIt’s been a great help with getting me back on track. It works well for and how I like to track things. Has so many preloaded nutritional information from almost every store I shop at. The bare code reader makes calculating your food very fast. I recommend it. It also sinks very well with fit-bit.Version: 8.87
Easy to use and completely free!Love this app!.Version: 8.77
Great!Fantastic diary I have used this for over a year. I’m in a keto diet and this is a fantastic tracker..Version: 8.77
Best I've tried and continually expanding.I've used mynetdiary for a number of years and it has continually improved. Best development was Diabetese Tracker, medication tracking, and blood sugar in particular. Very robust and easy to use. Only wish - better estimate of caloric burn with exercise tracking. Not aware of any other comprehensive app that does it either. Best app of its kind that I've used..Version: 8.73
Loosing weight without sufferingI am happy that I loose my weight slowly but safely. I was with other very tight diet even under care of a specialist. But it made me tired and sick because I couldn’t eat anything And of course I lost weight fast but my body couldn’t tolerate that much pressure. Also as soon as I wanted to back to normal life I gained weight again . I try to keep my calorie counting continuously and enjoy my food even if I want to eat chocolate bar!.Version: 8.73
Top notchAll the tools necessary to educate and encourage you to meet your weight goals all while making it interesting and fun. What more could you ask for from a free app? Best dietary app out there by far.Version: 8.65
Love this appI have been using this app for the last four weeks and I have lost 8 pounds already. It’s easy to use, most foods are already included for ones to add its very simple..Version: 8.57
Fantastic appI love this app!! I love how easy it is to log food, find foods, find recipes. Most of all it is great for logging carbs calories etc. there is so much in this app, I am still discovering things..Version: 8.36
Reached my goal!Easy to set up and use right away. Great recipes. Helped with managing type 2 Diabetes. Great way to mindfully fuel your body..Version: 8.57
Great helpThe app is helping me manage my weight and type 2 diabetes..Version: 6.93
D carbs not considering fibreTo be valuable for diabetics on insulin, D carbs need to consider the fibre and deduct from the total carbs. I paid for the diabetes version but D carbs not valuable until fixed. Till then save your money and use free version.Version: 8.15
Great... But issues since updateGreat app to help me control my diabetes... However, since the last few updates, logging water intake has become painful. Tapping on the water icon does not immediately register. You must repeatedly tap the icon before it will allow you to log..Version: 7.66
IPad userThe all round health app that I use to used. I particularly like the diabetes part of the app. but it only works properly on an iPhone. Increasing the iPhone screen size does not suite this app. I wish there was a full iPad version of this app. with the diabetes tracker..Version: 6.88
Bg trackingI love this app and use it every day it really helps me and figuring out my carbs per meal and therefore the insulin I need to inject really good app!.Version: 6.88
So glad I did my research!I looked up best apps to help manage diabetes and found this one. BHave only been using it for a little over a week and it has been so helpful in guiding my food choices and educating me to what my body is going through. I love how everything from calorie counting to keeping track of my blood pressure is all in one place. I’ve already told friends about the app. Well worth the 8.99!.Version: 6.68
Excellent AppI am borderline Type 2 diabetic and this app makes it easy to track everything. It has everything you need, flexibility with how to present information, and it’s simple to use..Version: 6.54
Excellent appGets much easier to track food as the app gets “trained” by the entry of the foods I tend to eat. It is really helping me to watch portions, amounts of calories, protein, fats, carbs etc. It also tracks my exercise from the Apple Health app automatically. I have tracked foods before but this is the longest I have stayed with the process. This app makes it easier to be disciplined. Only difficult part is that my meals are pretty much homemade from scratch so it takes more work to figure out some meals. Thanks for the great app..Version: 6.64
Love it!!Very helpful especially for diabetes.Version: 6.56
Life SaverA little year ago I was diagnosed Type 2. I weighed 153 lbs. I bought a food scale and religiously weighed everything that went into my mouth - including the ingredients of recipes from my hubby "the cook" meals. I entered all the info into the app. I factored in cocktails. I road/ride a stationary bike almost every day increasing my time slowly (started at 20 mins now at 30). I was on meds in the beginning. I am no more. As of today I weigh 110.6 lbs and I've never felt (or looked better). I could not have done this without this app!!! And I will continue to use it for the rest of my life. Cause I believe with diligence and knowledge I can control this 'silent killer'..Version: 6.50
AmazingWith the help of the MyNetDiary app. I lost 155 pounds in 18 months. Successfully cured my severe sleep apnea. Keeping a food diary is the best way to stay on track and achieve life changing results. Thank You MyNetDiary. (Cannot wait for the “iPhone X 🍏update”).Version: 5.45
Communication could be better**edit** I wrote a review below when I was having problems with an update. That has finally been fixed with a new update. I have given 4 stars instead of my original 1 star as the app seems to be working properly now. Just wish my emails could have been answered in a more timely way even just to say they would look into it. I only found out the problem was fixed after I saw there was a new update. The app is really good when it does work properly and it saves us so much time in quickly calculating carbs. ** I used to love this app and found it so useful with calculating net carbs so I could calculate insulin amounts for my diabetes. Sadly, an update stopped the calculator from adding up all the net carbs for each food item. Some of the food it did correctly and some it didn’t. Contacted support and they didn’t understand the problem I was trying to tell them. Sent two more emails trying to explain with screen shots and I eventually received a reply days later. Very sad that I can no longer trust this app and I have been forced to find another app for my needs. Don’t waste your money on this app..Version: 6.50
ImpressedAwesome app for diabetics...get it, you won't regret it...lol. I use it everyday easy and effective..Version: 5.45
Great app!Though I am only using a small portion of what is offered in this app, I love how simple it was to figure out. EDITED TO ADD: I am using the app a bunch more and both my doctor and myself LOVE it. I love how simple it is to use, and my doctor loves how it makes charts of all the information he wants to look at. I simply give him access to my account when I am In the office (either he accesses it on his computer, or I take my iPad in and bring it up) and he can look up whatever he wants to see including my food diary, blood glucose readings, medication tracking, etc etc..Version: 5.45
Amazing App!Set your goals, enter info and the App will do the rest by giving you the feedback you need to lose weight and eat healthier. Love it!!!!.Version: 5.29
An excellent program...would change only 1 thingThis is an excellent app. I appreciate how it tracks Glucose readings. The food database is by far one of the best that I've seen. Of 10 items that I entered 8 of them were in the system and 7 being correct. I do have a concern being that I submitted 2% milk and their system being 1% milk. I submitted the issue with no change after 4 days. Not the end of the world as I basically doubled the intake which equaled the total amounts for records. Also, it would be nice to put goals in for water as opposed to just adding for the sake of adding. For example 8-10 glasses per day..Version: 4.61
Mo' money needed to speak to usOk. Would be a good app if reporting a bug didn't require you to upgrade to a monthly or yearly subscription, even if even after paying $10 (in this case, it crashes when trying to scan a food ups code). The charts are good and the UI is ok. But is it worth the $10? I'm not convinced (there are free apps that do a good job without the all the fluffy bells and whistles). What I was really hoping for was a stable, hassle-free and functional app. I guess 1 out of 3 ain't bad..Version: 4.20
More devicesI LOVE LOVE LOVE this app. Wish I could pair it with my glucose monitor!.Version: 5.29
Great app that does what it says, and does it well! This app is improved continuously. It does what it claims and puts it all in an easy to use interface. There's a bit of learning curve because it does so much, but it's worth it. I've been using this app several times a day for a couple of years now. It works!.Version: 5.29
D4DarleneLOVE IT!! I live to eat; especially desserts. Using this app daily has been easy & very beneficial. I'm making better food choices by asking myself, "Is the amount of carbs, fat, or calories worth having to exercise to burn it off? Will I have to skip a whole meal for this food item?" Being aware of what and how much I eat keeps my from grazing mindlessly all day..Version: 5.29
My net diary DI love having everything in one place... The charts are great! And I love the ability to scan a bar code for new foods.... Awesome app for diabetics.Version: 5.29
ReviewHave had this app. For a long time still use every day for tracking mainly for diabetes. Have not lost to much weight using the app but if I was to follow it the way I should I can see where I could lose weight. Love the current update with the new dash board. The only thing I do not like is when you add your exercise it takes it off your calories. Would like to see the total calorie intake with out the exercise. Still an excellent app worth the 5 stars an the little it cost!!!!.Version: 4.90
Nice appWork to do, over all 65% Better integration with Apple Watch an reporting Needed.Version: 5.14
Easy to use. Superior to othersBeen using diet apps & programs for many years to help track certain health issues. This product is the first to have everything I need.... More than just weight & body fat. Works well with blood sugar tracking. If they'd figure out how to count added sugars, it would be perfect. Integrates very well with my Fitbit..Version: 4.85
My MentorI have used My Net Diary for many years now, and find it very useful and informative to track my diet results eg Glucose,BP, Weight. Although I do not use it every day I am able to track and record trends as applied to me. Many Thanks..Version: 4.85
DisappointedAlthough I use this app every day, which I think is good in itself, I am disappointed with the fact that it does not work with my fit bit (only the iPhone watch) unless I upgrade again, - which was not explained BEFORE I upgraded to the diabetes module, and tried to connect the two..Version: 4.85
Fantastic AppAlthough a bit pricey because you need to be part of the website, this app is fantastic. It has reminders, allows me to track lots of stats including medication, meals, etc. Helpful graphs and printouts as well that I can take with me to my doctors appointments..Version: 4.85
AwesomeI love being able to do it all BP glucose and diet in one place. It helps me be accountable.Version: 4.85
AwesomeI love this app it’s help me keep track of everything and open my eyes to what I eat every day and how the affect my BG. Please make this into a iPad HD version asap. Please add some feedback on when correction have been done for the ones we submit..Version: 4.79
Mr.It's not always accurate (nutritional values or food names) and the reporting table could be better formatted or have more options, but the app does it's job..Version: 4.85
SuperPlus fonctionnel que SOS Cuisine.Version: 4.79
Manages my diabetesThis app is crucial for my diabetes management. I just wish the exercise section would sync better with my Fitbit.Version: 4.79
