I LOVE this service. There's no other company that I could find that offers everything Yandex Disk does. It not only supports WebDAV and API services, you can do a selective sync that allows you to offload data to the cloud. It also follows symbolic links, which is fantastic! I only have to make a link to a directory in the Yandex Drive directory and it will sync it without making another copy in my local Yandex Disk directory. They also have top-notch support. If you pay as little as $1/mo for 100 GB, you get personally answered email responses to technical issues. It was also the fastest for me. I spent days trying to upload files to Google Drive that Yandex synced in minutes. Plus, with the paid service, there's no limit to downloads. That's important when you're sharing work files that are many GB. Also, if I share a folder on my disk with another Yandex user, what is stored there only uses my space. The other services I compared took the space from both users! They may have changed that because it's just ridiculous. I've been using Yandex for years, so I don't know if anyone's caught up yet. Why would I care? Yandex is the best.

Mega, Gdrive, Onedrive, Dropbox, Box, pDrive, Amazon’s drive offering: each of the above have some gotcha like Dropbox’s tiny free tier, Mega and a couple of the others’ overzealous deactivating of accounts if you don’t log in every couple weeks, and so on. Yandex disk was way down my list of candidates to evaluate but holy crap it’s pretty great. It just works like a tank doing what you want, not busting your chops with dumb “user engagement” hacks like required logins or endless Google captchas. The actual decent amount of space they give you on the free tier is the other thing that puts it over the top. I don’t make a habit of reviewing apps as an examination of my posting habits will reveal but they stand out in a crowded field.

I’ll be blunt this is hands down the best app for storing your data on, also if you’ve got less phone memory Yandex could upload it in the app. If you wanna download a file on your phone, but have less memory? Yandex will upload it. Keep in mind this is a FREE storage app. Meaning it’s UNLIMITED, but you could get premium features just by paying minimum fees monthly (like $2 dollars for 200 GB).

I paid for a 1 year 2 TB subscription and I think the service is great. The uploads are quick, the app is intuitive and high quality, and everything seems well designed and operates smoothly. There is one small thing that’s missing though: “select all” for batch uploads. I gave this app the iOS permission “Selected Photos” and selected the pictures I wanted Yandex Disk to be able to access and back up. This selection includes several hundred photos. If this app had the option for me to “select all” of those Selected Photos it would make uploading them much easier. But it doesn’t have that. I have to manually swipe my finger over each photo I want to upload, which is tedious and time consuming when you’re dealing with a large library of photos. If Yandex adds a “select all” feature, I’ll gladly update this review to 5 stars! With that aside, I recommend this app to anyone who’s looking for a large multi-terabyte cloud storage solution at an affordable price. You’ll like it. 👍

Wow! Something new. Since when the video files from my phone starts upload to limited storage insted uploading to unlimited storage? Looks like I have to abonded this photo cloud service and move to another more efficient cloud service.

I didn’t think anyone still offered a decent free cloud storage service, but this is pretty nice! They still offer free photo storage too! The app crashed on launch when I first tried it, but deleting and reinstalling it solved the problem.

#1 It takes time for the feed to “pick up” the new uploads. I would show them immediately and then do the grouping. #2 could you please add notifications for shared folders? Thank you and keep up the good work!

I loooooove this service, website and app. My fav cloud storage. The only thing I really miss: an ability to change playback speed of videos. I usually store educational videos on my Disk and would love to be able to do it in 1.25 and 1.5 mode. :) Pretty plz

I think I used to have a glitch on my iPad Pro that would prevent me from saving files to Files, but now it’s gone and I can say with all confidence that Yandex Disk is a truly amazing service. I’ve been using it for more than 8 years now and plan to keep using it. Cheers, guys!

Super comfortable app. I like that old style view when you have a lot accessible options to do with the files and in the same time it’s very convenient

Best cloud disk app Yandex disk team, if you read it, please, add an option to show full file name, sometimes "..." in the middle of the long filename is not that good thank you!

Great interface, slideshow, & integration. though at times it seems Apple? break integration? having Yandex on my “share sheet” access, means i never lose a file of interest, giving a strong central source of data that’s available across my devices. keep that integration strong Yandex!

How about 30 dollars for 5 terabytes. And 3 terabytes for 15 dollars. and 1 terabyte for 5 dollars. Each and every month. more space and better prices. No worries if you cannot.

I trust Yandex and Kaspersky with my data way more than Google, hands down.

I can’t see their performance sometimes but when I open the app 🇷🇺🏆I can certainly feel it 💯👏👍

I started using this service mainly because of the tiresome restriction of other options, and how they nickel and dime nowadays. This has been the simplest cloud space and backup tool for me the last 4 months at a fantastic price point for what it offers(1tb). Did I mention it has complete native cross platform support? (that means the penguins in the room too 😉) To the developer/company, please consider expanding your service offering in Canada. Your Yandex family plan isn’t available here but even if we had the option of 2 or 3 in a family plan, I would upgrade immediately. Thank you

Почему не сделать вход в определенные парки только по паролю , к примеру на компе автоматом зайти могут дети и видеть все все что у тебя там .

Так и не вижу возможности загружать обычные файлы с iPad. Только фотографии. Это ограничения приложения?

Отличное приложение, очень упрощает хранение и доступ к файлам, но очень сильно не хватает возможности создавать папки в оффлайн режиме приложения яндекс.диска. Я храню много файлов оффлайн в приложении и из-за того, что не могу рассортировать их в папки приходится тратить кучу времени на поиски нужного в этом огромном списке файлов. Было бы очень здорово если бы в ближайших обновлениях появилась такая функция. В остальном очень доволен

I’ve been using Yandex Disk for over three years, relying on it to store my important pictures and files. Unfortunately, today I discovered that all of my pictures, which I’ve carefully backed up and trusted this service to protect, have disappeared without warning. This app has been a huge disappointment. After three years of usage, I thought I could rely on Yandex Disk for safekeeping my memories, but instead, I’ve been left heartbroken and without any resolution. The app's reliability is questionable at best, and it has proven to be far from trustworthy when it comes to storing important files. I would strongly advise anyone considering using this service to be cautious, as you might end up losing precious data just as I did. Truly disappointed with this app and its lack of accountability. I’ll be looking for a more reliable alternative moving forward.

I’ve had this app for a few months and has liked it for backing up photos to get them off my phone. I liked being able to save in folders I created. BUT HERES THE SCAM: when you get to the 10GB limit and need to buy more space, THATS WHERE THEY SCAM YOU!! First, it’s like an act of Congress just trying to find where you buy the space because you can’t do it directly from the app itself. But then when I finally did find it, I paid with my debit card and the screen said it went through but guess what? The app still says 10GB and won’t let me upload to my folders anymore. But yet the auto upload setting is working. Except I can’t load to my folders and I’ve contacted support countless times and no help. SO DO NOT USE THIS APP!!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND DISAPPEAR!!! ALERT!! SCAMMERS!!! It’s so bad that they’ve had to address the problem of buying storage and not getting it in their help section. That tells me this happens A LOT!!!

I am more than upset because someone hacked my account and the app is not helping me recover my photos. I’m doing everything they tell me to do, but still nothing. I can’t get in. I can’t get my photos. There are family photos there, photos of people that I care about. I’m upset because apple recommended this to me, I think I lost the photos and I’m so very angry. I’m calling Yandex and they are rejecting my calls. I feel like nobody is helping me. I DON’T recommend Yandex and I’m so very angry with Apple.

After trying every combination I could think of, I cannot get unlimited photo and video storage. I only have 271 images uploaded out of many thousands. Apparently you have to buy the 1T plan, but you are limited still, to 1T. I will be deleting what few images I’ve stored and then delete the app. There is no “real” customer contact to ask about this. I’d give no stars, but Apple can’t seem to develop the rating system to do so.

Yandex restricted access to my account because they thought it’s being hacked. It’s imposible to restore access now unless I find my old phone. There is literally no other option. I answer all their question correctly, but they still don’t restore my access. So much data, years of work, everything just buried there. Horrible.

When we manually upload our pictures it would be great to ask if we want to delete these photos from camera roll instead of trying to guess and delete them manually one by one. I suggest supporting live photos as well.

If granted permission to access photos (in order to upload a particular one) will copy all your iphone photos to its cloud without notifying you outright.... Later you find that in order to remove them you have to manually select not more than 500 at once. Outrageous in times when personal data topics are so sensitive.

I ask the developers of this application to put the option of selecting all to make the application better and sharing of the files bigger, I have copied my files to the application and I can't restore them in one batch. Please solve this problem. Thank you.

Please, add the ability to use 3D Touch on iOS to be able to access your different photo albums and please add the ability to search for different albums.

This app was working completely fine, then all my photos were corrupted. It’s unable to load my files, and every time I try to click on a photo it says server error. It has been like this for months and I have no clue how to fix it

The app is designed so that it’s hard to find a way to download files. When photo/video is downloaded and it isn’t not shown in iPhone gallery, making the app useless.

I still have 9 gb remaining, but on some reason it stopped uploading photos

I will change this rating if the following changes. If non-Yandex VPNs are allowed. Neither my iPhone VPN app or the Windows 10 version of my VPN is allowed in Yandex Disk anymore. I use Nord VPN and I am not switching to Yandex VPN. Why is this all the sudden not allowed?

This app is terrible. It got access to my photos and started uploading it to the server however i did not give any permission for that. Please check this bloody Russian KGBs app for security reasons. It’s totally unsafe.

They said it has unlimited storage for photos but when I upload 40 photos,THEY USE MY STORAGE.I contact the developer but I receive nothing,Yandex Support doesn’t tell me anything.

Have to keep the screen active during download, otherwise downloading is paused, and I have to go through whole process again (select source files, invoke Save to Files, and select destination folder). Oftentimes the app shuts down, which adds another step to select the source directory, then go through all aforementioned steps.

They don’t send registration sms to Canadian numbers so impossible to sign up for account(

Я готов купить у вас память на несколько лет вперёд. Я не делаю этого только из-за того, что у вас нет нормального приложения для фото. Как Google Фото. Я согласен что он встроен в программу Яндекс Диск. Но там несколько минусов. 1. Там отображаются все фотографии из Яндекс Диска. А мне это не нужно. В яндексе есть папки которые мне не нужно выводить в фото. 2. При скачивании фото на компьютер или телефон теряется дата снимка фото. Мне и многим важно знать когда была сделана эта фотография. Это память! Почему это умеет делать только Гугл? Я хочу перейти на яндекс и не могу сделать этого. 3. Сделайте нормальное приложение отдельно для фоток, пожалуйста!!! 4. Не сжимайте и не меняйте формат оригинальных фотографий.
