Love this app!!! Alls it needs is better syncing.I've loved this app for more than 2 years now! I use it and put my purchases in here every day and it truly gives me a whole picture of my habits, trends, and general spending. The one thing that I could use that would never make me search for another app again is better syncing tools between devices. I enjoy inputting something on my phone, and if the app is open or even just refreshed on another device I'd expect it to pop up. Saving and downloading your current file and then uploading that exact file (or you'll lose manual entries after you resave) just to put a transaction or two is exhausting and not worth the time if I need to record something on my iPad or MacBook. So I'm just stuck to my phone or which ever device i choose. But other than that! Down to the simplicity of the look and so many options and ways to see your spending habits, filtering options and so much more in this app, I love it and appreciate all the time you're team has put into it! Helps Me Save MoneyLove love this app. 3 months ago I decided I wanted to create a budget and track where my money goes, I eat out every day and use lots of cash as well as debit to pay. I downloaded about 10 budgeting apps at the same time to discover which one was the best to keep. I downloaded well-known apps that were too complicated to use and some that were too simple and thus did not have the features that I wanted such as being able to transfer money between accts. I loved this one out of all, it is free and the ads are small and kept at the bottom so they are not annoying at all. This app is simple yet has many features. It has a calendar so you are conscious of how much money is spent daily/weekly/monthly. You can create different accts such as cash acct, debit, credit, savings, investments and transfer money between accts. Once you do spend on an account, the expense can be deducted from your budget. This app has helped me realize how much I spend eating out and each month I am setting a more reasonable food budget that has allowed me to save some money. I am keeping this app..L. Feature-rich appThis app app is great! It has many features to help organize and track income and expenses. This app has everything the other budgeting apps have and more. You can set up multiple accounts with basically any purpose you like from bank accounts, cash, investments, savings, loans. From there it shows tracks all your income and expenses together. Sometimes you might not want to see the totals for every account you have, so the filter option is practical for looking at any specific account or set of accounts. The visuals are nice tracking income and expenses in a pie chart that displays both the dollar amount and percentages per category. The app already includes preset categories which are completely customizable. They can also be sub categorized. One review mentioned that there wasn’t a way to setup recurring expenses, but I have checked myself. It is a feature that is included which allows the user to pick the frequency of when to repeat expenses. The features gives you more options than setting up monthly expenses. You could set up weekly or bi weekly, for example. To reiterate this app is fantastic and it fits my needs. The only downside to this app is that the setup is not as simplistic as other apps. Therefore, it may require more time to setup for the average user. Good app, but there’s room for improvement!Money manager is so far the best app I’ve ever used when it comes to saving and tracking your money. Unlike other money-tracking apps, this one has shown me that it is a reliable app as it has many functions that other apps don't. For example, the summary function or the stats function where they show you your income and expenses in each month/year/week. There aren’t as many ads that are popping up in the app either and if they do, most often they only show up from below! Something that I really really liked from this app is that they had options like, selecting a new style or another application icon! To me this shows creativity and that it is providing more choices for us. Something however, that I dislike is how simple they look! If you’re someone who loves design, you would find that the app is rather plain-looking. Another dislike from me about this app is that they do not explain what each function does and they don’t provide a short tutorial! I figured out that there are many money-managing apps that do not provide you a tutorial and that can be rather annoying. For example, without a tutorial on how you should use the app, you might just accidentally leak your information out or even reset all your data! There can be a high risk when using a new app if they do not provide the basic information you need about it. In conclusion, this app is perfect for money-tracking and also for you to jot down notes on what you’ve spent your money on. However, they could really improve the app if they’ve put in more work on improving the art style by adding in more attractive colors and icons, or even using a different font to catch a person’s eye! RecommendMoney Manager is an app that I have used for the past few months for a school budget project. It was easy to use and I found it very helpful to track my spending and my income. I appreciated that I was able to use all of the functions that I wanted to use. While using the app, I could access all functions for free and never ran into any walls that required me to purchase the premium version. Even though there were a few ads, there were not so many that it made me want to stop using the app. I was easily able to keep track of what I used my money for and where my income came from. Using the app was not difficult and it was simple to read and navigate. Lastly, it was easy to view the amounts imputed, outputted, and the remaining balance, so I would be likely to use this app again in the future. Even though I enjoyed the Money Manager App, there were some concerns with using the app. First of all, it was very complicated in the way it was laid out. There were many options to view how the money was spent such as by day, week, month, or others. Also, because there were so many buttons when I first used the app, it was difficult to figure out how to accomplish the tasks I needed. Although there were a few negative qualities of the app, the good qualities of the app outweighed them. Money Manager is great, but it is missing some features I wish it included. I would have appreciated it if there were fewer buttons because they made it somewhat difficult to understand how to use the app. Also, I wish I could have had the ability to add pictures in the app of my purchases. When looking at the app, even though there are some colors, I wish I could have changed the colors to my liking, so I could have color-coded my spending. Lastly, because I had a difficult time understanding the app in the beginning, I wish there had been a tutorial to guide me through all the features. Best Budget & Expense App after trying all the others!I absolutely LOVE this app! I have gone through multiple trials of a ton of other apps (EveryDollar, GoodBudget, Pennyworth, Budget, Monefy, and each was missing a feature here or there. This one has EVERYTHING I want. It has a monthly view, overall view, daily view, cute icons (because that is important at motivation for me), budget setup and view, and actual expenses checkbook section so you can see where you are at exactly right now; and you can see how you are doing with your budget. The app nicely and logically separates them for you and yet it is still so cohesive. I do not like linking my accounts to this app or any app as I know a lot of people do. I feel like this is the watchdog on my other accounts. If I spend $20 at a restaurant and put a $4 tip down and enter this into this app, my bank statement better reflect $24. I’ve caught it a few times where the tip changed from what I entered on a receipt. Other AMAZING cannot live without function- for every transaction you can add a picture of your receipt or of anything. This is awesome because I no longer have to keep hard copy receipts. The only thing I would add to this app is a little checkmark box beside each transaction to check when it has been matched with the bank statement. My workaround is to click the little exclamation icon next to it for now and change it from gray to yellow. No biggie since it is perfection everywhere else. Saved more money than I ever haveI've been using this app for a little over 3 months now consistently and it's helped me save so much money. I've never been great at it and so keeping track of where each dollar is going is really helpful. I've tried a couple different apps in tandem with this one and there's a a couple things I wish this app had to make it complete for me!! 1) the option to split one transaction between multiple categories and/or subcategories, as an example my rent amount has a couple different sub categories to it so to accomplish this I have to create several individual transactions. I wish I could split the dollar amount between sub/categories in ONE transaction. Grateful for this appSomething that I continue to write about is the money manager app words can’t express how grateful I am for this app I’ve been wanting an app just like this for a while now. Oh I wish it had more category options but other than that it is amazing. Every time I buy something or receive money I type it into the app and As long as I do that it automatically calculates my total Income and Spending per day week month and year. It also creates a pie chart for you to see how much of your money you’re spending on certain categories. Then when you click on each category it’ll give you a pie chart of all of the subcategories. Love this appI really do love this app and all its features. I don’t really have anything negative to say about it. A couple things I would change are that you cannot have multiple accounts on there. I am attempting to start a business and would like to have an account for my business and for my personal finances. Also that I want to keep track of where my money is going in the sub categories. I have to make multiple transactions on the same day for the same receipt. Example is buying different things for your house like groceries, car maintenance stuff, gifts for holidays, and clothing and such are charged to your card but you would have to do separate charges on the app to account money into different categories. Love this app but an update requiredI have been using this app to manage my expenses and accounts. But the automatic conversion rates between currencies are not optimal. The rates can be different depending on the money exchanger I follow. There is an option in the sub currency setting to update the rate but I want an option to disable automatic currency conversion rate. And upon registering a transaction, there should be an optional field to enter the exchange rate and fees for currency exchange. This expense can be a misc expense category. The next thing I suppose should already be there, when I update the currency rate, it shouldn’t impact on old transactions which have been registered with old exchange rate. Thank you in advance. Good for medium and advanced financial trackingIt has a bit of a learning curve, but does everything you need. Ads are just banner ads with the occasional popup, completely non-invasive and I don’t mind at all. It can track daily expenses and income, and you can set up accounts within the app (not connected to your actual account) that let you balance your actual account - kind of an electronic checkbook. It also has features to let you see summaries in graph form of your expenses and income for various periods of time. Very good app!It’s helped me keep my spending somewhat in check, being able to physically see what I gain and what I spend like video game chart has helped my finances immensely. One thing I think should be made easier is if there’s a repeat cost, e.i a subscription there should be an easier option to cancel it. Cause sometimes you cancel subscriptions for x or y reason. Changed my life aroundI honestly thought I knew my spending habits, but this app kept me honest! I can visually see where I’m being excessive and really tackle it to make a successful budget. Moreover, as a person with multiple bank accounts and multiple credit cards, it was such a mess to know how much has which! With this app, you can create multiple accounts and keep it all in one spot so you can see which card needs paying off, which card has more savings. Honestly another life changer ONE HUGE GRIPE There is a way to budget in app by setting dollar amounts for each category of spending, health, education, food, social life etc. What I would like is a way to organize these groups into “bills/necessities”, “personal expense”, “savings” then have the app set percentage limits, not dollar amount limit, so I can know how much my personal expense is going over my limit, and how much my savings is going under my goals. The current system of fixed dollar amount limit does not work because some months I spend more on food, others I spend gifts, social life and more. I have tried so many tracking-related apps: journals, time tracking, expenditure tracking, etc. Every app has been only disappointing because of their uncomfortable UI and inefficient layouts. Great app but ran into a sync issueRecently started using this app and so far I’m loving it. I’m technically challenged and this one is simple enough for me to use and I’m able to see, in simple format, what I spend on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, and more! It has all the features I was looking for in order to come up with my budget. The only thing I’m now searching on, is how can I get my daily entries from my iPhone to show up onto my iPad. And vice versa. I’ve backed up both devices and neither are carrying over my entries to the other. So I had to manually load all of the past few days entries onto the alternate one. Only one thing missing!!I love this app! Except for one, critical thing: the budgets need to be both expense and income so that I can allocate money to a certain budget and leave it there, “assigned” to that priority, until I’m ready to spend it. For example, my college-age son sends me money each month for his portion of our car insurance premium that I pay for each month. I want to deposit that into my car insurance budget, as income to that budget, and leave it there, then add my own money to it, and turn around and use that budget to pay the car insurance bill. Love this appI am loving this app. I have always been thinking of tracking my expenses myself in an excel sheet but was pretty lazy to create one myself. I got to know about this in some forums and gave it a try. The app is free to use and comes with a lot of features which are self explanatory and very user friendly. We can track the cash inflows and outflows daily month’s yearly and also pie charts on where the money is going. What I would have loved to see is an account for myself which still seems missing. Best Budgeting AppThis is actually my first review of an app ever, I normally don’t do them but this is truly the best budgeting app I’ve found. Great!Honestly very pleased. Used this for a year and a half now and am grateful for the insights it has provided into my budget and spending. It has a lot going for it. Three features that would be nice (but aren’t necessary) are: 1 (Most wanted) To be able to split transactions across categories. For example a $50 grocery shopping trip puts $40 in groceries and $10 in household. The only way to accomplish this right now is to make two separate transactions. 2 Sync online/across multiple devices (In lieu of emailing an encrypted backup to each device) 3 I would be open to a subscription for an option to sync my bank account with the program so I don’t have to manually enter each transaction. No subscription, just a one-time purchase to remove ads, but the ads are not super-intrusive. BAD: The interface looks like it was created over 20 years ago. Almost perfect! Recurring charge option is not ideal.I switched to this app due to the reviews and my current app not calculating correctly! My only need is that there is no option to enter recurring transactions and have them show up. The only option is for them to show up on the date you set them for or the first of the month. Need my country’s currency addedGreatest app ever.. no problems really easy to use when you understand it.. everything great But i have a small thing i wish it was there which is my country’s currency..I'm from Syria (it isn’t that popular) but i had to put the currency i use here in USD since there isn't Syrian pounds.. Good financial tracking appI like this app. It’s easy to use. Managing the moneyThis is a god app to keep track of the daily as long as you put in the data. Besides that I can put a heading for any income accounts and expenses paid from different sources. The adds are moderate and do not interfere with the use. Also, so special features are locked away. The expense tracking and support for multiple accounts (cash, bank, loan, investments etc) are super easy-to-use and view. I have not used other apps available on the App Store so I cannot comment on how it compares to other finance management apps. But I can say this, this app caters to ALL my needs, so I never felt the need to try another app. My use of the app has been basic - add income and expenses, manage loans between multiple accounts and individuals, account groups and sub-groups. There are also other features in the app that I do not have a need for. Overall, this app has done an excellent job in helping me track my expenses. The ads on the free version are quite less compared to other “free apps” on the market. Loved it but recently started stealing information!!I used to have another budget app for 3 yrs that had its shortcomings but I kept it because I didn’t want to go though the hassle of migrating all of my data to a new app. Ultimately however I looked for a new one that had all of the features that were important to me and that was this one. I’ve now been using this one for 9 months and have been very happy until 3 days ago my iPhone notifications kept warning me that this app is copying information from my iPad’s (NOT EVEN THE DEVICE THAT THE APP IS ON) pasteboard... not even when I’m using the app, I’ll be browsing Instagram and receive the ‘xxx copied information from your iPad’s pasteboard’ notification. Sometimes while my phone is not even in my hands, just laying on the table. There is absolutely NO reason that this app on my phone needs information that’s on my iPad, I never gave it permission to do so & I already share ALL of my financial information with this app I can’t have this gathering extra info about me.
