"Pin the World" allows you to save your favourite places in the form of PINS on a map.
Have you been to a restaurant that you liked? Have you visited a beach and you want to save the location? Did you visit a museum you want to remember? No problem!
Press down on the map and add your PIN! You can choose a name, a description, a date or a photo. You can assign a star rating or even choose a personalised colour and category.
You can search for PINS you’ve already added, edit them, move them or share them with other people. You can get the road directions or copy the coordinates to use them with your preferred browser.
A free version of "Pin the World" is available with a 5 PIN limit, or there are no limits if purchased (with in-app purchase).

Great for price but wish more...I love this app as I use it for informational purposes at work. The multiple colors, labeling, easy to use mechanics are great. However, I wish there was a way to measure the distance between multiple pins or a designated area. I also wish we were able to save multiple maps or even start a new one without losing all the pre-existing pins/information. This would be great for the comparison of trends that are being documented by me for work..Version: 1.8

Pin The WorldGreat app, but very seldom can I get past 40% GPS accuracy rate. I am traveling through Europe and have been able to pin every place with wifi, then move the pin to the correct location based on the satellite map (only maybe off by an inch or so). I like that I can change the color of the pins to categorize my locations (like lodging, restaurants, transportations, etc). And I like that I can add a picture to those locations and notes about the location. I only wish that when you tap the picture, it would open full-screen. I also would like to group my pins by each individual trip instead of making one trip of all pins. Other than that, this is the perfect travel app for me..Version: 2.6
Just what I neededThis app is pretty much just what I have been looking for - a map to document all the neat places I've been to and hope to go to someday. It's great that you can assign categories, dates, and even notes and pictures to your pinned locations, and I really like the option to use standard, satellite or both maps together. Even though you have to pay $1.99 to be able to use more than one pin, I think the meager price is totally worth it. Two features I would suggest are 1. The ability to import saved locations from Google maps and 2. A simple walkthrough of all the features of the app, even though it's fairly easy to figure out. To sum it up, this is a very nice app to document your personal travels! Well worth the small cost of unlocking more pins..Version: 1.8
Love the app - want more functionalityWe are anxiously hoping you will add the ability to import a file that has been exported from one user using Pin the World to another user. We have a need and desire to share pinned locations. Would you please consider adding the import capability. Thank you. Please help! Great app but recent problemI had the same exact problem as the previous reviewer. I rely on this app for my job. I have multiple colors of pins and recently the red "standard" color pins have all been deleted. If this is fixed it will go back to being my most useful app for remembering locations and organizing them by the color of pins. Please fix the problem!.Version: 2.1

Good, but needs two things...Finally an app where I can drop multiple pins, but it needs two features. The ability to drag a previously dropped pin to a new location, and the ability to mass delete pins. Would be just about perfect with those two things..Version: 2.6
Pin the worldIt is very hard to open. It crashed very often before beeing able to use it. But in other way, it is very interesting..Version: 1.3
