Ensnared by Tangled!I have loads of photo apps on my iPhone, this one does not try to be a jack of all trades, it does one type of effect perfectly. I've never seen any effect like this, and the app enables you to apply it in a variety of ways, and tweak each of them either in a basic mode or the advanced mode with several more factors to fine tune. It is easy as can be to use, yet with enough depth that one could experiment with it for months (years?) to get precise images just the way they want them. So, whether you just want to apply a cool preset filter and be done, go in a bit more and fine tune various settings (all of them or just the basic set), or start making and saving your own custom settings and using the app to make something that feels your own, this app is terrific. I've been exploring it for a couple of days, and just realized I can apply filters over photos I've already filtered through Tangled, getting some really nifty looking stuff. I'm just goofing around mostly, but sometimes I realize an hour or two have gone by, this app is such a joy to use. I agree with others, the only thing I can think of to make this app better is a mask or other way to apply the effects to only certain parts of a photo. Probably one of the most underrated photo effects app in the App Store!This app creates probably one of the most amazing and beautiful affects of any app in the App Store. Why there are not hundreds of thousands of reviews I don’t know. Easily has to be THE most underrated professional effects app in the Apple App Store. And I have just about them all. I create effects that I have sold professionally. Even without a gigantic time investment, even a child can create amazing professional effects that amaze. Totally awesome!This application is one of my favorite on my iPad. I love the ease of use and I love the effects and my ability to adjust them. About the only thing that I wish it had was ability to mask area so that not all the effects cover the entire picture. It would also be nice to be able to have a slightly faster way of saving. Really different ,This app is very similar to one I paid a lot more for that works in Photoshop. It is my favorite filter there and now on my IPad. I now have the ability to apply it to my photographs on my IPad . I recommend it to anyone to add its effect to their photos or artworks. I Think I good extension for this would be a masking feature so some parts of the image could have the effect and others not. Otherwise a great filter!.Got The EyeVersion: 2.1

Recent user - great app!Recently started taking more photos with my iPhone and Tangled FX was suggested online. Have an app Shock My Pix on my MacBook and this takes that idea and runs with it. I am learning the adjustments and am applying them to existing photos. I also take some photos using the filters. Killer app!Simple yet effective! Sometimes it's okay to have a consistent type of output from an app when it yields such a pleasant result. Although the filters effects can be subtle on the low end and really extreme when set to higher levels, the output is warm and creamy and has a beautiful render quality, especially at the higher pixel settings. Creative SunshineWhat a fun app! I found that I really love 3 or 4 of the effects. Some of the effects look best on simple photos. A go to app.There are a lot of photo apps in the App Store. This one is different. This allows you to add a bit of texture in a different manner and other programs. A unique app that does unique things.Tangled FX does something unlike any other photo editing app. And you can tweak the ish out of things with tons of settings. Put an image through Tangled FX on its own and you can get some cool effects. Layer with the original image or other copies edited other ways, and things get even Cooler. Tangled FX won't make every image work, but I tend to run anything interesting through the app just in case it really works. I've spend hundreds on photo apps and have deleted all but a few. Pretty NeatI've noticed better results from pictures that have a lot of hairs/blades of grass/branches/grains/patternsetc. A tutorial would be nice, but not necessary. My favorite photo effects appHighly recommend this app, creates very unique effects. Different effects work better depending on the original image so it is fun trying all of them on each picture. Wonderful!This is a really, really cool app and it's a lot of fun to explore new ways to be creative with photos. The quality of the render is quite high, and the effects are all striking. Suggestion: sometimes when a photo is rendering, let's say at 70%, it may look awesome. Getting to 100% becomes a let-down. Great artistic photo app!It's really amazing how one can be creative with this app. The Fine Tune features are endless. I like to echo what was said by another reviewer, that I like to save the image at a certain stage of processing. Very often it looks best at 80%, before the image snaps to full color or final look. Also, one would wish it were possible to see the changes live as one drags the sliders, without hitting the render button each time. But maybe this isn't possible because of processing power of the iPad. That's why an outstanding app like this should be available as an Aperture or PS plugin. There's a NEW ToP DAwG!!!!With an astonishing leap in photo manipulation over every and all of the some 350 or different apps I've loaded n deleted, this is one that I will use for ever. I only have one bug or flaw that I would like to see corrected or added. CrapYou select various filters and you can’t deselect them. Nothing intuitive about this app. Does not appear to have an undo button. Hitting the ‘original’ button brings back the original, but again leaves the filters preselected. So soon as you select another filter, they are ALL re-applied.
