Great app!I do enjoy this app I payed for the full version to save race data and the only down side I’ve found so far is the exporting of race file data through the app it doesn’t work properly I have not tried to file transfer on PC yet but when I do I will update this review. This app is spectacular I’ve been using it for rental karting at and outdoor track 40-45mph I have a iPhone 13 so the gps isn’t as great as it could be but I hold 1-7 meter accuracy from my jeans pocket. The feature of being able to draw your own track was extremely nice given the kart track wasn’t listed but I was able to outline it pretty accurately my lap times were only about .5 sec difference from the tracking the facility has on the karts. I haven’t been using for video only because technically speaking your not allowed to have your phone on your person when racing… hence the pocket. But the core data. Being able to create sectors and compare laps and having all the race telemetry filters ie. gforce,speed,elevation,braking/acceleration zones, is very useful lots of tools to play around with and it can have a great impact on how you drive in the future..LUCIFERSGLORYVersion: 4.8.2

Super useful!I love the app, it is super useful at the track, highly recommend. And the price isn’t that bad! I only took one star because there is no way to contact the developers, and the app does a beeping sound when it is recording and my helmet Bluetooth is connected to it. That beeping sound drives me crazy! And there is nothing I can do in the app to disable that nightmare beeping. In other words, to use this app in my phone, I need to disconnect the Bluetooth speaker from my phone every time. PLEASE remove that beep or add an option to disable it. I already paid for this app, but I would give $10 extra just to disable that beeping when I’m recording my sessions. That said, best app I used so far. Features I would love to see: * Option to redrawn the track, it happen to draw twice the track wrong due to GPS lack of precision, and I had to create a new track every time instead of being able to reset that drawing. * Option to export a video with only the track animation and telemetry, so I can overlay in my videos using another app. * Let it play all the laps in sequence, don’t need to watch one, click to the next, and so on… I want to watch a session from beginning to the end and compare every lap with the best lap in sequence..Gartz7Version: 4.7.2

Downloaded 5 minutes ago and it’s already a 10/5 app!I haven’t seen any apps even close to this level of functionality that don’t either charge exorbitant recurring subscriptions or bombard you with nonstop ads, so that’s already a 4/5. On top of that, the app itself just has crazy levels of functionality and give you almost all the data you could ask for. For the track, street drives, drag strips, off-road trails and everything in between this app really has got you covered. And 8.99 for the full experience? A no brained is an understatement. I could EASILY see Porsche, BMW, etc charging upwards of $1,500 USD for devices that do the exact same thing. All in all just an awesome app..5/5 is truly an understatementVersion: 4.8.2

Great app for simple, no fuss onboard video and data!Some suggestions though: add a night mode, perhaps just dim the (recording) screen. Add a pause/resume recording: for some activities you don’t want to record everything, and now if you press stop recording it moves to another screen and the recording session is over, then you have to start over and not sure what happens if the car is already moving etc. Tap to pause, tap to resume, that’s it. Bonus: find and record the brake pressure, I know the Focus RS sends the brake pressure and steering angle on the HSBUS, not sure it can be queried through OBD though, but brake pressure would be fantastic, with steering angle a plus..Rallyfan1234567890Version: 4.0.3

A great auto cross tool.There is no better way to compare and analyze your performance and the vehicle performance than repeated tests of a fresh course. Because Auto Cross courses change every race, the slaloms, acceleration, braking and the shortest (and quickest) track are easier to spot in side by side comparisons that track addict provides. The set up for each race is easy and the ability to use RaceRender to create comparative movies is a great teaching tool as well. I have used it in 3 different cars in over 10 years of racing. Awesome when you can get a good GPS signalI’ve been running this app for over 3yrs now and I really really like it. I connect my phone to an external GPS module that’s mounted under my rear view mirror. I’ve had this app at Road Atlanta, Roebling Road, Barber and Daytona with pretty good results. I say pretty good because on a cloudy day, the GPS signal is sometimes to weak and my video recording with data is sketchy. BUT, compared to some $1,000 units out there, this is very very very helpful. I also LOVE the fact that I can be ANYWHERE to include an airport toilet and I can review my data because it’s always with me on my phone! Love it 🤙.Jster171Version: 4.8.2

Great app, frustrating audioI love using this app to track runs on our annual hill climb, it’s super helpful to review each run and have video, but audio within the video is a recurring frustration. Sometimes the audio won’t play during playback, but fiddling with the silent mode switch or restarting the phone will usually bring it back. This weekend, however it apparently didn’t record audio for any runs even though the video is fine, and I can play audio from past years. This has been a recurring issue with the app for years and I wish the developers would build in a better test or something to ensure it’s recording correctly..WjcstpVersion: 4.8.2

Easy to useI’m just getting into track days and motorsport, only using my phone with no other data collectors. Given that, this app collects an impressive amount of data and makes it pretty easy to turn that data into intelligence with lap comparisons, various visualizations, and easy navigation. One suggestion: I film with my phone on landscape mode, and although the numerical G forces appear to be correct, the little visualization on the video output is centeres at 1G to the left. First track day app.I signed up for my first track day and decided to give this app’s paid version a shot. I was not disappointed. It’s very easy to use. Paired with my OBD2 car connector in a jiffy and was recording sessions back to back without issues. I was able to export the lap videos directly on my iphone without any editing which I found amazing. The app knows when to cut the videos for each lap or something which is clever. Love itI’m a new trackie and the app was suggested to fellow track junkie. It’s a pricey app, but considering what we pay for track time, brakes, tires, etc etc etc…. It’s not to bad. I would like to see the option to put the actual “G” numbers in the video. Maybe even the max number posted also. The ability to edit the video if you need to chop out a section. Latest version is not good.App has been 5/5 stars the last few years until latest release early this year. It was super simple to plug and play with iPhone in a windshield mount. Latest release includes support for a lot of features and devices, but isn’t easy to use. It didn’t record anything my first 2 sessions, and has a lot of bugs. The last session I got it working but the video was blurry and not usable. Looking into buying a Garmin Catalyst. GPS data vs Vehicle speed data!! Pls give an option to use.Giving 3 stars as when using on a iPhone the speed telemetry was spot on as it was using the vehicle data. Upgraded to iPhone 16 and now app used the gps data which is laggy and not helpful especially in analysis. However the app still captures the vehicle data and would be a great feature if you can select between gps data or vehicle data for speed options plus any others to which would be then overlayed on the footage. Great Value! Works well for AutocrossI am using this for Autocross and it works really well. It seems to work best if you just mark the end point and leave the start point undefined so timing starts as soon as you start moving. I tried setting the start point but for some reason it didn’t start for me. I did buy a 10hz GPS and the granularity is quite good. I can easily see when I take a different line on a run when I’m comparing. I have a mega squirt ECU. It would be nice if I could get telemetry like RPM, etc. from the ECU that’s the only reason I gave 4 stars. Otherwise a solid 5 so far after 3 events..Malysa6Version: 4.5.1

Great for HPDEI recently used the free version of TrackAddict for a track day at Road Atlanta. The app was easy to install and set up. While on track, being able to see actual lap times and predictions were helpful to monitor how I was doing. Between sessions, it was nice to be able to look at detailed lap info. Incredible Functionality and UsabilityThis app gives data which used to require hundreds of dollars of data acquisition equipment. They have many tracks in their catalog. Get faster & Capture VideoWow! I used TrackAddict for the first time this week, and I was blown away. The split times and section analysis are fantastic, even right in the app without a computer. Very easy to use.I like the simplicity of the app. Lots of powerful tools in it but it’s also easy to use. The instant video and playback is excellent. I do wish there was a little more of a tutorial about how to use some of the functionality. I purchased an external 5 hertz gps to get better telemetry. Too many creatures for the free version!!!Though I’m not a professional racing driver(yet) the is app has improved my telemetry analysis for my karting EXPONENTIALLY. The free version has so many well developed and advanced features, whose only limit seems to be the hardware you connect it to. Great app for motocrossI strap my phone to my handlebars using a running armband. It keeps my lap pace. One minor improvement I would request is having the segment option start when you cross the start area. Then, in motocross, I can set 2 points and see what lines are faster as I cross those points for each lap. Then I could have a few laps of data once I finish. Best bang for the $!This app rocks. On track video plus data logs is so powerful. I confirmed that my oil system mods were sufficient for the grip I have on my track! I also found out that the computer was pulling ~2 degrees of timing every time I hit the rumble strips on the apex of turns on the road course. Great for track days!I been using this app to help improve my track skills. Having live timing in car really helps me see how I’m doing on each hot lap. Loved it until the last updateI've been using It for a year and I've really liked how it's most everything I've wanted overlaid on the video. When tried to use it last week, it crashed three sessions in a row. The only video that worked (1 of 3) doesn't have any of the overlay info at all, and the data stream part is missing as well. Get those sorted and I'll start using it again. While they're there, adding some more OBD2 data would be nice for engine monitoring. Need to spend $270 to get full functionalityBought Pro version and used in Autocross. iPhone gps is not good enough for auto start feature and data logging is not accurate for autocross. Really need to buy external GPS and be careful only XGPS160 for $150 will work with iOS. Qstar for $90 will not work. In addition, my existing Blue Driver OBD reader will not talk to Track Addict (not cheap Chinese knockoff). So you need to spend another $100 for a Kiwi 3 (not a Kiwi4). New update and app crashesWell it was one of my favorite lap timers. Newest update however and it keeps bugging out and not recording sessions. Would occasionally happen with the previous version of the app but this past weekend I couldn’t get a single session recorded and logged. No support from HP TunersUsed to be good but now it has missing gauge options that previously were available. Loved it untilI was at the track last weekend and would t talk to my BLE sensor. Now it will talk but the videos don’t display the data correctly, even the old videos that used to work. No speed. Throttle is not calibrated, traction circle is a mess, etc. I loved it but now I’m very disappointed. A little QA goes a long way. Latest update killed the appI updated to the latest version. It seems to connect to my KIWI OBD it displays no data. Connection to XGPS 160 is in and out. Sometimes video, sometimes not. No actual video button on display like before. Does not stop recording at finish line. You have to take the phone out of the mount and turn it to portrait mode to manually stop recording. Wont stay open after updateI’ve used the app for years. It updated sometime recently to the new UI. I went to start my first session on the track today, and the app closed and didn’t record any lap times. I’ve riddled with it for a while and can’t see any way to fix it.
